Pros: Breakfast was good, the location was remote and beautiful
Pros: The beds were comfortable and it was clean. The lady’s at the front desk(upon arrival and at checkout) were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again and refer my friends and family.
Cons: I think there needs to be better pictures on what you get in the room(I checked the hotels website and they don’t have many pictures that say what room it is) I thought when I paid extra for a kitchenette I would get a full fridge(I saw one in one of the pictures)and an oven, not a big deal as we only stayed one night. They need to check their fridges and freezers more too as there was food left in ours and the freezer had a lot of ice build-up(like 3-4 inches on one side). With all that I still enjoyed our stay and would suggest staying there if you get a good rate.
Cons: The restaurant had good food however the service was extremely long. We did not go back.
Pros: Rooms were great. Restaurant attached to the hotel was awesome.
Pros: Room was lovely with kitchenette, which was nice. Shower was excellent. Comfy bed!
Cons: Our room was very warm and despite opening the window and turning on the AC as low as possible we could never get it to a normal room temperature. We never asked any staff for help, so perhaps we did something wrong.
Pros: It was a lovely stay there and super convenient in Tumbler Ridge.
Cons: Good breakfast... need a few more options though
Pros: The spa area, although the treadmill is a bit dated. The hot tub is a real treat!
Cons: The breakfast options were limited, no hot options were provided (e.g. no scrambled eggs, bacon, hash brown, ect.) The cups were all disposable, it would be far more environmentally friendly to use china cups. It would also be good to have a TV in the room.
Pros: It was a great hotel and the service was great!
Pros: Clean, like new, and quiet!
Pros: Very clean room! Comfortable
Cons: Continental breakfast wasn’t what we thought it was going to be.
With a stay at Tumbler Ridge Inn in Tumbler Ridge, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Tumbler Ridge Community Centre and Tumbler Ridge Global Geopark. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great meals at restaurant
Cons: Very spotty wi-fi only 1 bar
Pros: Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly, made me feel right at home! It is an older building, but very clean and well maintained. All round good experience and I would definitely stay here in the future.
Pros: Free breakfast was excellent plus the supper that I had was also very good. And the area is very quiet
Cons: Could have had more channels on TV
Cons: The prices changes from day to day - if there are lots of guests they charge lots more. Old-school TV one didn't work at all. Internet was dead slow.
Pros: Friendly staff easy access to Restraunt lounge mini mart everything was very close to our room
Cons: Fans or air conditioning
Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: The WiFi connection and TV.
Pros: Not much. Tumbler Ridge is a beautiful spot but very remote and the hotels take advantage of the lack of competition. All 3 charge more that $100 - more like $115-135 which they could not do in a city.
Cons: Not well cleaned or maintained. I stayed on a Saturday night then spent 2 nights elsewhere and returned on Tuesday night to the same room. I had dropped a tea bag on the floor during the first visit and it was still there on Tuesday night by the garbage can so should have been seen. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. I tried both - the single and the double. The internet was very slow. The staff were quite bossy. The place was virtually empty but both visits cost more than $100 per night. For that price it should have been better. The rooms are old and outdated but this is acceptable if it is clean and the beds are comfortable.
