It was peace of mind Every thing was parfect
Transportation to and from the airport makes the hotel a good choice when travelling from Cologne airport.
The staff of the hotel is not good in English and not very helpful to foreign travellers.
The buffet breakfast was very varied and plentiful, a good start to the morning. Tea and coffee facilities in the the room were very poor. The price of the hotel was expenseive compared with the one at Munich airport.
Good convenient position, plenty of parking, exceptionally clean and very good value for money. Good train links to Koln and Bonn.
Staff where very helpful and understanding of specical requirements Double room was a bit small for two persons with thier bags
There were several restaurants in the immediate area. The staff did not know about using the VAT form so I did not have to pay the tax on the hotel
The co-opertaive staff Not really
Wired internet in the room. Restaurants and other activities (casino) just around the hotel. A bit expensive.
Quite, breakfest, design
The hotel was very comfortable and peaceful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We`ll surely come back again! -
Atmosphere/ambiance, food , surroundings...could not fault it! I did not stay long enough!
The location was beautiful, as were the hotel facilities. The room was spacious, lovely, also there were seating areas in the large corridors. Free use of sauna fitness and solarium (at the time of my stay-Sep 2007) make a good point when it comes to relax. The staff was very helpful and nice, and the food was great. There is truly nothing I would dislike.
It was beautiful! Very quaint and cozy, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
Location - close to airport Grounds Breakfast Very nice, but misrepresented 4-star rating (3-star more accurate)
We appreciate a lot the hotel, the room very big and clean and very cheap. Very calm place too ! The staff was very nice. We recommand that place for your familly. It s better to come with car. The restaurant for the brekfast is small. If you want to go to koln, it's little bit far : 25km, so you need a car.
Very old fashioned, they promissed internet and there was not. Noisy.
bed and breakfast. inconvenient if you're not driving.
comfortable restaurant & quite
Petrol station next door if you have to top up rental car fuel. No iron available - they had run out and didn't know where they all were. Crumpled shirt into Italy then...oh, the shame. Pretty pricey but then again - same can be said for any hotel around CGN airport
Friendly helpful staff I had a double bed with a single duvet!?
Convenient hotel close to the airport Only one pillow with the size of a stamp. No bottle opener at the room. A bit expensive.
Very good service
No free shuttle bus from/to airport
We thought it was a very good hotel. The rooms were very large compared to many in Germany, the hotel was easy to find, and the restaurant was very good. A full breakfast buffet was included in the price, which was great. The hotel is a very quick drive to the Cologne airport. We were hoping to find a fitness center in the hotel, but there wasn't one. And we took a while to figure out how to keep light out of the 45-degree angled windows on the top floor, so we could sleep in a little.
The staff's politeness, kindness and availability. The lightning in the room.
location; facilities; privacy I prefer sheets and blankets instead of duvets. The duvets used were too short. One gets either cold feet or cold shoulders.
Free parking and WLAN. Friendly staff and good sized rooms Room was a bit cold until I worked out the heating.
The room had plenty of space and was designed very warm and friendly The heater in the bedroom didn't work and the fee for breakfast of 14 Euro is way too much.
The staff was helpful and upgraded us to the Family apartment since it was available. This was very comfortable for us and especially our children. The onlz possible improvement was the shower, which could not maintain a consistent temperature (either too hot or too cold).
The staff was friendly. The man behind the desk was very happy to make us a coffee at midnight. The room was quite spartan for a 4 star hotel. The shower was not easy to get into. The mattress was sagging, and one could feel the springs. Airplanes landing at Köln/Bonn airport fly right over head. There is air traffic after midnight. One has to pay for wireless LAN use. Prices are not advertised in the room, have to ask the staff. Rooms have no air conditioning.
Reception 24/24, the silence of the room, good breakfast Not easy to find the desk crew during the night and early morning
The staff was extremely helpfull. The apartment we got was just perfect for all of us and especially the kids - the kids room was equiped with games, books, etc. Lots of fun.
Staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are really big. No water cooker in the room. Information about the hotel in a dirty folder. Functional but tasteless design.
It was very convient for the purpose of my stay.
Staff were very helpful, almost all of whom speak English. Lack of coffee making facilities in rooms.
Good location close to the highway and services. Though the bed was made ok and the towels changed, the bathroom had obviously not been cleaned after the last occupant. Overall a fair hotel.
Easy to find
People ready to heló , the romo very celan and good bed and restroom, breafast More soap in shower
Very nice place to stay. My wife and I stayed only one night as we were flying out of Cologne the next evening. We certainly would have liked to stay a few more days. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location w/ respect to bus & S-Bahn and central to the town of Troisdorf. Great breakfast. Parking was cramped but at least it was available and at no extra charge (not a common practice at 3 other hotels we stayed with in Germany). If we ever end up in the Cologne area again, we'll certainly stay at the Kronprinz. Like any hotel on a city street in Europe, you'll get a lot of street noise if you sleep with the windows open - which is necessary on warm days since there is no air conditioning. Also, WiFi service is the typical 14 euro for 24 hours - so we passed on that.
Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. An excellent all round hotel and highly recommended!!
Good railway connection to Koln and Airport Bonn-Koln;friendly staff; Older building; noisy floors and stairways; outdated room furnishing/carpet/bathroom;
This hotel is very convenient to the train station, and has a good restaurant nearby; this helps in heavy rain as I have experienced in November 2007. Breakfast was included and was good and timely.
Staff very friendly and helpful/ Parking is limited
nice staff and service, room ok, very good and rich breakfast, placing close the Troisdorf's main promenade, very nice town
easy access. Friendly staff
The nice room and the good connection to public transport
Excellent value for money
The service is good, staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and modern.
very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet (they have it every second Sunday..) location - there is not much around it.
rooms were really nice, everything was sparkling clean... each room is furnished and painted according to a different theme (hollywood, cape town, stockholm)...
German Pizza! I checked in at 8:45 pm and was told restaurant will close in 15 minutes. I eat my pizza (German style, tasted good) and went to the front desk asked for password for the internet. I was told in German no password is required. At 10:30 pm I tried to connect to internet a few times and each time required password. I went down to check with front desk and could not get there since the doors were locked and seems everyone was already gone!
- friendly staff, surrounding city, cleanliness, strength of shower - dinner food was reasonable (quality) but could be better: more quality, less quantity
The location at the top of a hill in a small quaint village with no shops and great views. You would need a car as it is in a remote area. Pillows as in all German hotels pillows too soft
Excellent value in a beautiful village setting. Local produce and friendly welcome.Good sized well equipped rooms.Would have liked to stay longer. Directions were a bit difficult as it is Blankenburg, the old hill town not Hennef itself.
Attentiveness of the staff. They were always keen to please and they helped us out with bus and train timetables. I wpuld have liked to have stayed within the hotel. We were in the annexe, but I think that was because we needed 3 single rooms.
Good food and breakfast, nice staff
good restaurant, perhaps a little off the beaten track and a little dated in the room, but all more than adequate.
Very quiet place, good food, clean. Nice location. The room was in a different building.
Relaxing after a hard days work in Cologne
