Pros: I loved this place and Matafonua next door. Darren, Nina and their team work so hard to make everything special. No mean feat in such a remote location. It is absolutely stunning, wonderful snorkelling & diving. Well appointed rooms. Will definitely be back.
Pros: Beautiful beach and great snorkeling. A large room with deck just a few steps from the beach. Our hosts Cushla and Richard were friendly, helpful and informative. Good choice of meal options and good quality too. We look forward to returning!
Pros: Location, en-suite toilet & shower
Cons: No air conditioning
Pros: We loved the bungalow and the covered porch. We enjoyed the location, near the beach. The bed was very comfortable and the room size was ample. The staff members were helpful and kind. The food was very tasty and well cooked. The bungalow was very clean, and the staff was responsive. We loved the coral heads with tons of fish, right off of the beach. We also loved the private, clean beach.
Cons: The ceiling fans were too high, so the bungalow was hot. We did not like the forced communal eating with people we didn't know, interfering with our privacy and therefore ability to relax. We didn't have anything in common with a couple of them, which caused some friction while dining. We even ate on our porch one evening to avoid having to eat with several people. The Fafa Resort had a better dining arrangement, providing good meals and privacy, so one could relax.
Pros: That it was tucked away with peaceful bliss and that the beach was in a few foot steps from your bed
Cons: a few more activities would be nice like jet skis four wheel ridded. etc..

Pros: Stunning location. Tidy well equipped rooms.
Cons: Only food available was at the restaurant so felt a little ‘trapped’. But that’s because of the remote location.
Pros: bathroom facility was awesome!
Pros: Great snorkeling lovely beach
Pros: service was awesome, food was really good too, workers hospitality was very nice.
Pros: Stunning setting with friendly staff- I wish we could have stayed longer!

Pros: AMAZING! Best resort Ive ever stayed. The island is the most beautiful you will ever see but the best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Patti is a wonderful and very inspirational host. The staff is great and the food was the best! Feels like a real retreat where you can fully relax. It is so worth to go here, even if you dont do whale swims or go out of the whale season. You will certainly have a great time here!!!!!
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful to us and very accommodating to our dietary needs and our baby. A magical place in a gorgeous and intimate setting. We will miss the friends we made!
Pros: Patti created a truly magical place! I felt instantly at home after her heartwarming welcome and care. For me she organized a whole retreat program with yoga, lifechanging book readings and workshops, meditation, meetings at the fireplace under the stars, a heart math presentation and even thoughtful chosen cocktails. I was looking for just some peace in beautiful nature between two fast paced life phases, but somehow she made me find much more than that and exactly what I needed. The island felt like a paradise bubble safe from the outside world, where I could heal, learn to breathe again and thanks to her caring retreat open mind and heart to more creativity and trust in myself and the world. Also swimming with stunning gorgeous whales did it's job too :) The food is great and healthy and can be individually adapted to almost every need and wish.
Cons: Bring lots of mosquito repellent! But sleeping under the net is perfectly safe.
Pros: Great location, snorkeling great, fales nice and secluded and plenty of chairs, hammocks and water craft to play with.
Cons: Boats for whale swimming not always available due to group bookings.
Pros: We had an exceptional time at Serenity, an absolute disconnection from the busy life, beautiful nature and ocean life, swimming with whales, drinking fresh coconuts, great meals that suit everyone. Peace and Serenity!!!
Pros: The location is remote, and incredibly beautiful. The bungalows are each unique, and the surroundings are designed with a great eye for detail. The staff, especially in the restaurant and the whale swim guide, were super sweet and knowledgable.
Cons: Looking back, I think this place is too expensive. It already costs a lot per night, but there were a lot of add-ons that I hadn’t sufficiently taken into account (check the website for an overview of all costs, incl. the meal plan (150 TOP per day) and the boat transfer (110 TOP, and there is no other way to get to the resort). But other than that, I took into account that I stayed at other places (in Vava’u) were I was a lot more comfortable and relaxed for a fraction of the price.
Pros: Wonderful people
