The hotel was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. I arrived late at night and as there are no facilities in the hotel to get a drink, I would have liked there to be a kettle and some tea in the room. A hair dryer would also be useful.
big rooms, nice staff
Actually we did not have a choice as this was the only one available in the area, but no complains. Not really.
Frendly hotel staff,good breakfast.
NO wireless Internet in the room, although this was indicated.
Location and sevice were excellent.Possibility of a smolking room is much appreciated. Also the parking facilities. Sometimes ordering in the bar/lounge took a very long time
The room was very confortable and clean, and the breakfast was excellent!
The barman, the thin guy with the black suit on, he was friendly and nice.... I stayed here with 3 people from work, we stayed for 2 weeks, all the rooms on the road side, which we all got, are all too hot, but when you open the window you can't hear yourself think because of the traffic, which goes on all night, I slept very badly and it has taken me days to recover, I have a duvet, which I dont like, I asked for sheets and blankets, I was left with the duvet cover! On day 1 I had a bath robe, however I used it once hung it on the back of the door and they took it away wthout replacing it, then all the flannels dissappeared, then the mouthwash. I know they are only small things, but when you are paying over €100 per night you would have thought there would be a bit of cosistancey.... I would not stay here again.
perfect breakfast, situation in city
Stayed with 2 dogs and was very welcomed. Also very close to Essingen downtown. Nothing at all
A very good choice for businessmen but also tourists, who are visiting Stuttgart. A quiet and comfortable hotel in a beautiful old town, just 20 min. away from the airport of Stuttgart. Excellent breakfast and a very nice surprise was expecting our child in the bed!
The breakfast was excellent and the dinner was good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the room was large and clean.
No way to control the climate of my room
The room is spacious. The shower was very good. Since there was no air conditioning, windows needed to be opened in summer. As a result, there's too much noise from the nearby restaurant/pub. The room could be cleaner as well. The hotel has very limited information on what to do in town (no town map provided) and the staff was not helpful in recommending a restaurant.
Good staff and breakfast. Too noisy.Parking problems.
clean rooms, good beds and great breakfast lack of own (secure) parking space.
Location, staff breakfast There is parking but u must pay, it is not associated with this facility
The rooms were vary spacious and clean. The hotel sits right next to a chaming canal and is close to the old part of the city. The bathrooms need more shelves in them for toiletries.
It was nice furnished, a little bit poor, very clean and comfortable, with easy access from town.
Spacious rooms. Nice interior. Close to Esslingen centre. The watermill giving energy is really nice. Price is o.k. Personal not very concerned. Cooling the room at night was a problem. Keeping the window open gave to much noise.
good clean new room. Maybe a bit basic, but you don't need more if you want a proper room with a good bed, comfortable bathroom with nice shower and good breakfast with lots of items.
Very helpful staff. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel is actually a dormitory of the university. There are no toiletries except liquid soap and toilet paper. The hotel is difficult to find because the entrance is not located on the main street, but must be walked around the neighborhood to access it.You can park your car on the street in front of the hotel where there are only about 10 free parking spaces.Or use the paid parking nearby for 8 euros for 24 hours.
New hostel, good breakfast, comfortable room
comfortable and silent. I will stay again when I visit fellbach again.
Breakfast buffet, quality of duvet covers, fast internet acceess (for a price), coffee bar
Everything about the Classic Congress Hotel was great! No complaints. I liked everything
Room very comfortable - good size. Proximity of public transport excelent. Lack of swimming pool
Staff was great and we loved the coffee cafe.
The room was lovely and most importantly very quiet. The breakfast was very good - rather expensive, but worth it. Extra charges - 8 EUR for parking, 6 EUR for internet, 14 EUR for breakfast
The hotel personnel were very nice. The location was quiet (except for the city crew putting up tents and booths for the next evenings fest, but this is no doubt a once-a-year I would recommend the hotel to anyone spending time in Stuttgart. The public transportation from the hotel all over Stuttgart is excellent.
location, is right on train line, nice hotel for price, great breakfast and good free coffee
comfortable, clean room. good location for traveling by train to old city. no.
If you are a coffee lover stay here! The Classic Congress has a fantastic atrium complete with an automated espresso/coffee machine that offers complimentary beverages all day long. The free Finnish sauna room was also sweet. Way the way out in the boonies from Stuttgart and the airport. But not bad if you have a car and really good directions.
breakfast was good When we booked your web-site said hotel had indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness centre. We would never have booked otherwise. They had none of these. It was most unsatisfactory. Please let me know why you advertised these facilities.
An old fashioned, fairly basic sort of a hotel - but perfectly adequate for business travel. Clean, comfortable rooms, if a little dark. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast. Some BBC World News or CNN would be handy on the telly.
Quite new big en very nice decorated hotel of high level.Tasteful luxery and accomodation as well the nice high rooms. Excellent culinair cuisine for reasonable costs. Good service. Outside nice terras for dinner. Very good breakfast, Free parking. Very good for passing through or longer stay. We had a very good offer.
Very friendly, helpful staff, large, bright rooms. Very good Chinese restaurant downstairs (on the premises, but not owned by the hotel). Decent breakfast. Free parking and lots of it. Will definitely use the hotel again for future business trips - good value all round My room was opposite one of the conference rooms and they had an evening function which was quite noisy - ask for a room away from conference rooms!
too dry & cold
Great location, near the altstadt, friendly staff. We changed room requirement upon arrival and it was no problem. Underground parking is a little tight for larger cars.
Quiet setting, comfortable and adequate in terms of service Isolated from shopping area, station and Altstadt if arriving by train. Need to walk through quiet and dark streets to get there. Breakfast assortment not generous.
Great value for money. Also, the hotel was spotless....absolutely sparkling. Staff was friendly, location was close to sights and breakfast was bountiful. Parking was somewhat confusing. If you have a van or large truck...do not park in the hotel's basement!
Esslingen is an attractive town close to Stuttgart and therefore suitable for people who do not want to stay in a large city. Easy train access into Stuttgart. There is a restaurant on the premises. I thought the cost of my room was high considering that the hotel is is a moderately sized town which is not a tourist draw..
Resturant in same building (not part of the hotel) was very good. The room was split levelled with a narrow spindle stair leading to upper part wich could not be used. The Aircondition was a stand alone unit which took up too much space and was not properly fitted.
We enjoyed the double level room, a unique experience for us, and also the breakfast. There was also no issue for us to leave the car at the carpark for a further few hours after checkout.
The staff was excellent. We missed the breakfast but they made us sandwiches at 11am.
It was an easy walk to the old town centre. The rooms are very big.
Central location without being in the centre of the old town. We had asked for a double room. Whilst the room we had was clean and large it was obviously meant to be a singel room as the furniture was built around one single bed. A second bed had been put in the room and was over in a completely different part of the room. The hotel charged for a double room. Haven't answered whether I would recommend as my answer would likely be not sure. Can't remember guest reviews
The room was quite large with two stories. It is a comfortable space to accommodate two adults and two children. The breakfast was also nice. The lower ground parking lot is also recommended for security reasons. There is only one restaurant, which closes on Sundays, available in the vicinity of the hotel. The surrounding area looked a little lonely.
great location in middle of town, free parking was ideal, WiFi available at very reasonable rate 5 euros per day.
Centrually located, parking facility, friendly staff
Nice accomodation and Friendly Staff.
Location mid city Wireless access was complicated Breakfist was poor
central, easy parking, No restaurant in the hotel, although it is written in hotel description.
Comfortable, clean hotel; great breakfast buffet; very convenient underground parking. Nice staff. Reception is unmanned after hours so check in time is important. Contrary to the booking information, parking is not free; cost is 5.5 euro. When this was pointed out to the desk clerk, we were not charged.
Comfortable Hotel with convenient parking, rooms very stylish and well equipped, good breakfast reception unmanned even though I arrived 1/2 an hour before published time that reception was unmanned
being in town center, plus its car parking, and of course the suite upgrade. very quite, relaxed nights stay. no. though the restaurant for evening meal seemed just an add on to the very nice breakfast area. good breakfast.
Friendly staff, nice foyer with tourist information. A bit tricky to find.
The service was outstanding. The staff went out of their way to help us both in the morning and at night. With my son, I liked that the single bed was against the wall on one side, so that he did not roll off the bed. The location was perfect - right in the middle of the pedestrian area. Everything was within walking distance. There was a little refrigerator for my son's breakfast. The breakfast was okay, but there was not a lot of variety. The windows did not open completely, so the room was a bit stuffy. The mini bar was a bit low, but there was a cabinet above it to put everything out of my son's reach.
Central location to old town, curtious and polite staff. Stayed in small single room, which is coisy but totally enough for an overnighter as I came to visit parts of my family in Schwaebisch Gmuend breakfast buffet presentation
I arrived late and key facility was great
Very functional, nice size room and bath Carpet is not very soft
great staff. uncomfortabl pillows
Very nice centrally-located hotel with comfortable rooms and helpful, friendly staff.
It is just a small detour away from the motorway, ideal to break a longer car trip. There are lovely woods to walk in. The rooms are very book and nicely furnished, good size modern bathrooms. Food is excellent, both breakfast and lunch/dinner. Hot cuisine throughout the day. They also sell some home-made German and organic goodies. I stopped there again on the way back just for a late lunch break and liked it as much. Bound to go back there regularly. It is close to the motorway, so some noise. If you like sleeping with the window open, ask for a back room. But with windows closed you don't hear anything. Hotel very popular for weddings, unfortunately this happened to include a disco till 2.30 in the morning which was less pleasant although still bearable compared to other hotels.
Staff were very nice to us and very helpful. They knew what we would like and made suggestions to make our life more pleasant and comfortable. The food was super -0 they n=amke their own bread, meat, sausahe cuts. It was only a stop-over, but we are glad we found it, and we want to spend a holiday there. The best find of the year for us.
Reasonable access from the autoroute and excellent restaurant. Willing to serve breakfast at 8am on Sunday. None
We liked very much the spaces room, the dinner and the breakfast bufet. Also parking is exellent No hair dryer available
Superb bedroom with balcony overlooking lovely countryside Very good meals at reasonable price None
our family had a great time. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were large and comfy. The walks in the nearby mountains were a nice change from the cities we had visited. For a true German cultural experience this is the place to go.
Staff were helpful even though we had no German. Room was spacious, airy, quiet, clean and comfortable. Food came in generous portions. view was spectacular. We were sorry we were there for only one day.
wifi internet at no charge
Internet connection is very bad.
No good internet connection.
Breakfast was very good. staff was very kind. Cleaning was fine. Very quite and peaceful hotel. My bedroom was smelling of smoke. The glasses in the bathroom were not clean and had obviously been used as ashtray by the people before me and not been replaced.
The breakfast was always good. The cleanliness of the room.
The rooms were very clean, the staff helpful and friendly, and the setting couldn't be better, with tennis courts, horseback riding, swimming pool a short walk away.
The room decor was a bit dated, but all was in good condition and clean. We enjoyed the spa facilities and the breakfast buffet was very good and had a wide variety of choices. We seemed to be the only family at the place. The clientele seemed to be all business people and older couples. This is only an observation, not necessarily a bad thing. The location worked well for us as we were visiting friends that live in a town close to Bad Boll. I was disappointed by the incredibly high internet fees (16 euro/day!), especially because the wireless connection was so poor that it was difficult to maintain a connection in our room. We had to sit in lobby areas to stay connected...and paid a very high price. I personally feel that charging for a wireless internet connection is unnecessary and price-gouging.
Calm and very good to rest Better maps for bigger suroundings
Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a very good breakfastbuffet. The hotel is situated just outside the quiet village of Bad Boll, in a green surroundings and has a big parking garage. Just a few minutes away from the highway A8. An ideal place to rest during a journey to the south of Europe. The Märklin Museum is situated not far from this hotel.
Quiet with plenty of space..lovely room..great breakfast menu..very helpful staff..great facilities no air conditioning in our room
Good parking facilities. Close to Stuttgart/Zuffenhausen but in a calm location. The hotel charging guests for WiFI in the year of 2010... Should be free for all guests lika at Scandic Hotels.Slow check-out staff talking on the phone instead of taking care of the guests in front of them.
The staff all were very helpful and could speak english-----the beakfast was great, with jacobs coffee. A must try. No
breakfast, restaurant, staff...
I come about every three-four years to bike the countryside. I was in U.S. army in Schwabisch Gmund in 1953-55. Love the town and countryside. A delightful mix of old city, new city, forrests and farmland. Many good bike paths and country roads. No, liked it all. Very good accomodations, service and food.
The Hotel is 5 Minutes walk away from the Train, 15 Minutes to the middle of town, Makets, Churches, small eating places, some Restaurants and Busses. nothing
