The location of the hotel is okay, directly within the special area of Kapadokia, a very special place on earth this is the biggest misrepresentation on the net ever!!!!! "We have satellite TV" means that there is a TV at the reception and the manager watches Turkish MTV! "We have 24 hours hot water" is a blatant lie, as is the heating system which is only switched on late in the evening. But mostly the price and the facilities: In their own brochure there is a beatiful bathroom - very different from the stinking room I had. The price as per the own homepage is advertised as Euro 30 for the double room. For a family room (same thing with 4 beds) I was charged Euro 69 and no complaint helped!
the attention of the owner and the friendly atmosphere
The staff were very helpful and the location was close for everything, sleeping in a cave was a wonderful experience.
İt is a novel place to stay...more for backpackers...very handy for all capaddocia tours which staff will arrange if need be. One complaint İ have is that İ emailed the staff and booked an airport transfer for 12 Euros and had a confirmation e-mail back. However no one was ther to collect me and once İ realised İ was all alone İ had to take a taxi which cost 150 TL.....İ comlained and the manager Isa shrugged and said it happens...İ told him İ had e-mails from him and he denyed he ever had any! İ went on the internet and found my proof and said İ felt he was at fault and not the shuttle company....He was indifferent and not willing to make a reduction ın the accomodation.Despite this İ did have a fabulous tıme and thank you for your part ii see above as İ do not have time to type more.
The personal was not very helpfull. the rooms are extremely unclean. don´t recomend this hotel to anyone
Uniqueness of cave rooms, friendly communal atmosphere, variety in breakfast selection, very helpful in booking activities, comprehensive info file on region. Signage to and at hotel looks a bit old and shabby, doesn't do the hotel justice.
Me and my pregnant Wife loved to Stay at Cave Life's. the place was very charming and Ibrahim was very helpful. During our stay he took care for ours reservations in Cappadocia tours, in a Turkish night experience and for my Ballooning ride. And the price was even better than the ones I had got from the agencies. Ibrahim, if you are reading this, thank very much and take care of you and your family. Best wishes Paulo Miranda and Carlinda Rodrigues, Portugal No, just loved it
The hotel has a great location, and the staff is very nice. Rooms have a good size and are inside the cave, which reflects the spirit of Cappadocia.
Simple and clean. The pension includes what you need. You feel you are in a family. Hot water was not in service.
the warm welcome of the staff, the support to get around the area, the breakfast, the situation of the hotel, the originality of the cave hotel experience, basic facilities but very comfortable!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were always at the door to greet us when we walked in and made us feel at home. It was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary.
TQVM Yusuf for being very hospitable & could rely on him for any help needed. Good breakfast, clean toilets (although there is a small puddle where the water did not drain well), good location, clean bed, good wifi Heater or electric kettle needed in the room (even at extra charge would be OK), because when the temperature was freezing, there was no way to keep warm. Daily vacuum and some change of towels would be better. Not recommended to stay for winter.
the owner of hotel is very kind and always concerned with your needs. rooms are heated with wooden heaters, some of them has no bathroom inside. the hotel is very clean and you can drink tea/coffee anytime for free. great budget type hotel.
The stuff was nice and friendly There was no air-conditioning or heating. I asked laundry service. but I got them still wet...
The owner was really friendly and helpfull, would come again because of the staff. Very basic accomodation, and as we went in October, it was cold at night even with extra wool blanket due to no heating in the rooms. We would come back again in the summer time.
The owner Yousef was an extremely welcomıng host and ensured our stay was comfortable and relaxed. He had bought woodburners for the rooms and our stay was very cosy and warm in the evenings. We had delicious breakfasts on the terrace over-looking Göreme and we even got free postcards of the area on our departure!
Those working at the front desk were extremely nice and welcoming when we arrived in Goreme at 3am. They even came down to the city center to help us find the hostel when we arrived and didn't know where to go (at 3am!). They helped us with finding things to do in the town and made phone calls for us to assist in the rest of our journey through Turkey. With a great staff, cute rooms and a wonderful location I highly recommend this hostel! Rooms were a little musty but not bad at all. You are sleeping in a cave after all so it's part of the ambiance!
The underground cave, although slightly damp, made you feel as if every night was some sort of step back into time. The woolen blankets, the cold stone walls and the utter darkness furthered this sense of theatre. As the sun rises, you feel none of its warmth, but are cocooned in the cool of the cave. The smell of breakfast wafts in at around 8 or 9 and as you ascend the steps into the sunlight, and the rays finally hit you, your mind fills with the thought; I'm in Goreme, its beautiful.... Yasins place furthered the natural beauty of the town, from the little boy who serves the breakfast to the american women who runs the hostel all the staff are extremely friendly and hospitable.
