We stayed in various hotels in sardinia and this was by far the best in every way absolutely wonderful
super romantic hotel paradise on earth excellent food
Services and facilities: the restaurant is...fantastic, also the professionality of the excursion guides are very hight the rate, in my opinion too hight
There are many very nice outdoor terasses, Art exhibitions and a nice big garden The food was good but not very exciting except the dinner buffet and the breakfast
This is one of the most wonderful places we have ever been to!
The restaurant was good. The room was classified "deluxe" but it was windowless, cold and dank. Really, a room without a window? The staff were unhelpful about the lack of an English language TV station. We have stayed in much better 2 star hotels than this 4 star hotel.
The location Part of my my job is to inspect hotels and rate them...The Junior Suite ws by no means a junior suite - it was no better than a standard room in any 3 star hotel. The pool was dirty, the jacuzzi was dirty and empty and it was impossible to book a massage the 2 days we were there.
Stunning mountain views. Relaxing rural location. Numerous "hidden" seating areas. Food of high quality. Pool area in need of some garden maintenance. Expensive.
The decoration The workers at the bar try hard to sent clients to bed and after they stay there having drinks
The restaurant (excellent food), the lounge area's (several of them and very comfortable) The room had no bath, only a shower (when booking, it was stated there was a bath also);
Very charming and new built. The restorant downstair is more than fine. The swimming pool is a real advantage. I had a nice price via booking. Quite far from the beach. The car is required to go there in my opinion.
Staff extremely nice and helpful. The great balcony in our room. Location could be tricky if we did not have a car.
An excellent hotel situated in-between the towns of Arbatax and Tortoli. The rooms and the pool are of excellent quality and staff are very happy to fulfil your requests. The restaurant offer and excellent 'menu of the day' for around 17Euros. The food is of good quality, with a choice of starter, main and sweet to choose from. Be careful though to pay for the meal on the night in the restaurant, as this cannot be carried over onto your bill, something that could be better explained I guess. Situated on the road, there is a modicum of noise at busy times, but it is certainly no more noisy than being at the sea-side with the waves crashing in. As mentioned, a better explanation of the evening meal payment scenario, thus avoiding any possible misunderstanding .
Despite short stay very welcomming hotel and good facilities nothing to dislike except for location
staff were very very good room beautifu and very clean pool clean it was a brilliant hotel to use the resturaunt you cold not put onto your bill but had to pay for on the night which we found strange as we had breakfast in there in the mornings? Not very good if you didn't have a car it was next to a busy main road where walking was not an option no pavements but the hotel was 10 out of 10 otherwise
The hotel was is great condition, the staff were all friendly, polite and accommodating. The service was impeccable and our room and the pool facilities were fantastic.
Beautiful, clean and very modern hotel. Charming staff - . Lovely clean pool. If relying on public transport - limited services available, but info eaily found. Good for occasional night due to location.
everything...great staff, restaurant's good, beautiful hotel... but u definitely need a car to explore the surroundings...and don't forget to ask the staff about a mini-cruise from Arbatax...it's worth the money...
The pool and views were great. Unable to walk on the near-by roads as no foot paths. Not the hotel's fault, but not tourist friendly.
Excellent hotel for the money - luxurious large rooms - good food - location could be better
The location is superb and the hotel is spotless - breakfast good too. No
There was a misunderstanding about what "sea side view" means in the description of the room in booking.com (I believe this description should be changed for clarification), and the hotel staff were genuinely worried about our possible disappointment and very helpful to make us happy. The hotel situation is excellent, with good facilities and kind and helpful service. The side street is too noisy when the rubbish or something is collected early in the morning.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff The standard rooms, although clean and neat, are quite small. Bathrooms are very small
good breakfasts, very clean rooms, friendly staff, great location. It was a bit basic for a supposedly luxury hotel, and rather overpriced for this reason.
Very good attention of the staff to all the customers. They tried to help all the time. Second coffee is not included in breakfast - so it has to be paid separatelly
Next to the beach, nice and modern hotel, comfortable extra charge if you want a second coffee at breakfast, noisy
Originally booked 4 nights, but ended up extending to 7 nights. Staff very friendly, helpful & efficient. Rooms very clean. Great location - short walk from port. You MUST hire a boat for the day & explore the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei: €120 plus petrol (€30-40). Magical. Moved to sea view room for last night - bathroom smaller, more noise from the street & balconies right next to neighbours. Go for the side view rooms.
Realy cool atmosphere and fantastic view. Haurbour just around the corner and nice seaside street life.
The quality of service, and especially the attentiveness of the staff, were on a very high level. The food (breakfast, and a la carte menu) were fantastic. The mattresses were a little hard for a hotel of this rating. Also, the room, which looked like it usually serves as a double, had the additional bunk bed, making it a little crammed. Otherwise, the availability of the additional (children's) bunk bed was a major bonus.
Beautiful setting, nice rooms, lovely top floor terrace with stunning views over the harbour, Cala Ganone and surrounding countryside plus ideally located for beaches, boats to coves and good restaurants etc. A great away from it all setting with enough activities etc to stay in the area for a week after a hectic week of touring Sarinia no
A lovely stay. Hotel is very smart and stylish and staff are friendly and helpful.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was modern and well laid out. Room was well maintained and very clean.
Comfortable rooms, large in size. Bathroom big. Friendly staff who spoke English. You have to drive down into town, but is easy enough.
For an Italian hotel, the breakfast was good. The location is very nice, overlooking the sea and the village, ask for a sea-view room! It should be noted that there are some 300 to 400 m to walk on the road (or next to the road, which was not easy), as there is unfortunately no pavement connecting the hotel with the village.
Room size, small for 2 adults +child
The stuff was great, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere at the hotel is like home. It was also extremely clean. The bathrooms were large and very well designed. the breakfast could be better with hot options and more varieties, but it was not bad.
The hotel is very clean, looks new, easy to find by car, and the view to the sea and mountains is nice. The breakfast and dinner (25 euro, one can sit outside if weather permits) are good value and taste. There is a huge 25m pool. Friendly front desk reception. Ideal for a stay to visit beaches or mountains by car. Not so charming atmosphere, but ok, as it is new and clean. Unfortunately there is a gas station, car wash and a main road in front of the hotel, at night we could often hear loud motorcycles. But as a reward we had sea-view.
Big unpersonal hotel, but nice located, with nice view over Cala Gonone Ask for a room with a sea view, you will not regret.
Very welcoming hotel team, a family business. We even got a sip of the wine produced by the owner of the hotel, a delicacy by the way. Breakfast was very generous and good compared to usual bad surprises in other hotels in Sardinia. Our room had a very nice view on the sea, although not really close. With a car, the hotel is 5 min from the centre of the village, but without it might take some time, plus the road is not necessarily parctical for pedestrians.
Excellent view, great location! full-size swimming pool, underground parking, everything is new and cozy. The service is excellent, and the suit room with the jacuzzi and large sat TV was just amazing! You would need a car to drive to the beach and drive around. Hotel restaurant cooks a great menu every evening, and there is plenty of wine choices in the cellar? What else do you need :) Vacation is too short :)
second visit to this hotel, friendly and helpul staff, rooms with great views good location for walking, swimming and boat trips. no screening for balcony areas
Awesome location, friendly staff and very clean & comfortable room. The pool should stay open until at least 9pm/21:00.
Friendly small hotel with beautiful views.
The location was perfect and the view from the swimming pool is gorgeas. The pool area is lovely and it was nice to be able to borrow umbrellas etc for the beach. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others and will be back myself! loved it all!
Fabulous view of a very beautiful bay. Attentive and friendly staff. Great food in the restaurant. It is at thetop of a very steep hill which is fine if you can walk without puffing uphill.
Extremely helpful and service-oriented staff; quiet location and wonderful view on the bay (car defenitely required, though!) ; nice big rooms
Staff, staff, staff !!!!! I have never met such a distinguished, polite, friendly, good advisor staff. t h a n k y o u !!!!!
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice view over the bay of Orosei
The staff were exceptional. I cannot convey how lovley they were.
A very relaxing stay at a simple, stylish and very clean hotel. The breakfast is ample and good quality. A great view from the balcony and the 10min walk back from dinner in the village is good to burn off a few calories. the matress was a little hard
Friendly and helpful staff, tasty breakfasts, pleasant room
The hotel is well situated in Cala Gonone. the rooms are very dated with lower than average bathrooms. The breakfast is very poor and the staff act like you are a problem rahther than a guest.
Very friendly staff Room a bit small and the hallway was noisy
Helpful and nice staff. Very clean room and hotel area. The bathroom is not the newest
Friendly welcome. Quiet but very central location. Clean rooms/bathrooms. Terrace to dry beach bits and pieces without hanging over balconys. Coffee made to order at breakfast. Air con in one room not very efficient. Breakfast fairly basic but perfectly acceptable.
The Staff was very friendly. We had a lot of fun when watching EURO2008 with signore Giovani and his wife in TV.... Unfortunately they dont speak any english or german, few words in English only, but it was no problem.
Hotel is well located in town with ample parking outside, short walk to town centre / seafront. Hotel is family run by charming couple. Breakfast area could use a revamp.
clean rooms, quiet part of city; if you want to explore Cala Gonone and surroundings and not to be directly on the beach, it is good alternative breakfast very very basic...
Easy to find, plenty of parking, excellent value, good location (200m from the best part of the beach and best value and view.location restaurant (Roadhouse Blues). Cala Gonone is very pleasant. The hotel owners were very friendly and watched the Champions league final with us and bought us a round of drinks Nothing - at this price it was right at the top end of our expectations. We chose it on rate, location and available parking. We would give it a full 10
relaxed atmosphere, artistic dceor, food excellent
Modern rooms with Sky (pity no international channels ex news). Great base for walks esp. Tiscali and Flumineddu gorges. Near Dorgali winery - some of the best Sardinian wines. Good buffet breakfasts. No WiFi or rj45 in rooms. a bit far from village (and restaurant prices took advantage of this).
We had a wondeful experience at Hotel Il Querceto. The rooms were large and clean and the staff treated us like family. Breakfast included homemade fig preserves and fresh fruit which were just wonderful. The restaurant was very good and served local foods and Sardinian wine (quite good). This place is special and we highly recommend it.
Helpfullness, courtesy and friendliness of all staff Poor bedroom air conditioning for extremely hot weather
The hotel is very nice, is new, the staff is friendly and caring ... Each day the room is tidy and clean ... recommend
The hotel has been totally refurbished and has spacious rrooms with a beautiful view on the mountains.
We liked Dorgali as a place from which to make excursions, and Il Querceto, slightly out of town, is well situated. Breakfast, served at table, is - as so often in this region, apparently - limited to sweet foodstuffs. For this price category, one might have expected a little more choice (e.g. a broader range with muesli or more choice of fruits, although the figs were excellent, and why not some cheese?) Especially as we stayed 5 nights it tired a little...
staff building work noise
Excellent location close to beautiful beaches (15 to 20 min car drive) and historical monuments. Part of the hotel brand new! Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Free parking!
Spacious room and bathroom. Nice view of the mountains. Balcony. We asked for a double room and did not get it, though we had chosen this option specifically in the booking. The mattresses were not optimal.
The Pool was big and clean, excellent staff, great restaurant with good selection (also local dishes), fantastic breakfast, quiet at night, quiet during siesta, SAFE FOR KIDS, well signposted, beautiful roomy rooms that can be competelay darkened by shutters, FREE SAVE, FREE AIRCO, no extra hidden costs, beautiful surroundings, walking distance from beach and supermarket, town centre 1000 meters! No!
Nice design of buildings and rooms, outstanding restaurant, friendly staff. The pool is nice and large enough, good for kids as well as for swimming.
Quiet relaxing hotel with friendly staff, large well appointed rooms and an excellent sea view from the superior double room we stayed in. Although in a peaceful location it was an easy walk into Cala Gonone which has plenty of good places to eat.
Comfortable, friendly and well positioned about 10 minute walk from the beach and the small town centre Noise from neighbouring hotels never reached nuisance levels but seemed out of keeping for a small out of the way place. Cala Gonone is ideal for a short stay with terrific scenery, walks and bays but somewhat isolated
This hotel is very nicely located, and offers everything you expect from a 4-star. The staff is nice and pleasant, the restaurant very good (although a little pricey), the room clean and recent (with a nice and big balcony). I definitely recommend. Just one thing, and it is not about the hotel itself: our room was at one edge of the complex. On the other side of the street, there is a some kind of a beach village or something with loud entertainment until midnight. You don't really hear anything inside the room, but it is kind of annoying when you want to relax on your balcony in the evening, after a day of hiking or swimming...
Nice brand new hotel, perhaps too new to be really good at services and comfort, but staff is trying hard to make our stay pleasant. Area quite remote and neigbouring is not prime, also facilities and garden are not completed at the time of our stay.
Very clean hotel. Personal room safe and wi-fi (in the main hall). Pool and garden areas very well kept and taken care of. Position is within walking distance of the town and beach fronts, Comfortable and properly laid out. Hotel staff is well informed of surroundings and happenings.Serving staff for meals and bar area are exceptionally nice and curtious, a pleasure to be with. Each room with it's own exclusive entrance and set up with class and real gusto. Even a rack for hanging clothes to dry. The staff are also very friendly and do what ever is neccessary to make you as comfortable as possible. In case you don't have a car there is a shuttle and pick up service at all the major airports. Prices are fairly reasonable and honest. Only one of the girls at the front desk was a bit rude and seemed bothered when you would ask something. When we asked for pool towels, we were asked why we didn't bring our own...... hours for meals a bit restrictive, breakfast could be upgraded a bit, had to always wait for something warm, but otherwise well furnishedand plentiful. A bit of noise can be heard from around the hotel and from the rooms with a common wall. Key system for electricity in the room also includes the airconditioning, so when you leave it turns off. Television is small (not that we watched much......)
It was a great new hotel with very nice and service minded staf! We were missing computer and internet availability for the guests. The staff were kind enough to lend us their computer with Internet, but it did not felt comfortable to sit inside the reception and use the staff computor. We would have prefered if it was located a little closer to the city center.
The hotel was great, staff very helpful and we were given a very personalised service. A wonderful holiday and we would go again.
Excellent staff, fantastic food at the restaurant and extremely well-kept property Hotel is next door to a large hotel which had music and DJ non-stop from 9:30am to midnight. Luckily we had a room on the far side but if we had been on the facing side it would have been a problem.
Location was great and the room was big. I enjoyed the balcony and the view. The room could use a little more decor.
Nice family atmosphere in excellent location. Owner arranged for transport to and from Olbia airport and offer excursions along the fabulous coast in own boat. Staff very friendly and remembered coffee requirements in the morning and kindly arranged for ice to be taken to the beach for cool drinks.
The staff would go that extra mile to ensure that you enjoyed your stay with them and also they have a very good restaurant. Parking is free all around the hotel and it's position opposite the harbour makes it easy for boat trips to secluded beaches. The decor in the room could have done with being updated
The hotel was close to the port and town centre. The restaurant seemed the busiest in the town, had a nice atmosphere and prices were reasonable. The room was ensuite, basic, but clean - shower was very powerful! We had a lovely little balcony with a flower bed, which got the sun in the late afternoons with good view of the port. The staff overall were friendly and multilingual. As the hotel is right by the seafront and our room faced the harbour (a bonus point in all other regards) I'd advise people to be more wary of mosquitos than we were - take repellent and a plug-in! The staff were reasonably friendly and accommodating, but didn't seem pleased if you didn't keep to their schedule re dining times, etc.
The food was out of this world! Our room was very big and has a balcony overlooking the harbor. none, it was almost perfect.
Excellent location adjacent to small harbour and within a few minutes walk to beach. The food in the restaurant was excellent in terms of quality, presentation and service. The room was adequate in size, but was beginning to show its age. The B&B price was a little high compared to other hotels that we stayed at on the island - the location probably determined that price.
Good location, near the city centre and near the beach. Clean rooms. Cold at night, very thin cover.
The hotel staff were welcoming from the very beginning and couldnt do enough to help us throughout the holiday The beds were a little small
very nice family run hotel with increasingly friendly staff. The restaurant is the best in Cala Gonone, really the best... the only but is the waiting time in the restaurant - you 'll have to wait for your meal to be served, that's probably because the restaurant is fully packed in the evening and 1 hour waiting for your dish is smth very much relgular...otherwise food is delicious and the best.
Fun and slightly chaotic place to stay - a good hotel with a superior restaurant (can get very busy). Our room was comfortable with a view of both the port and the mountains from the balcony. The hotels' day long boat excursion to good beaches along the coast is well worth taking.
Great location near the beach and for exploring Ogliastra region. Lovely design and excellent service by very helpful staff. Restful and quiet environment. Highly recommended
Very personalized and welcoming service; Cozy and worm athmosphere; very nice food in the restaurant; Highly recommended to anyone staying in the area.
modern design hotel, nice pool, excellent food lunch and dinner. cosy athmosphere, not a family hotel street between hotel and beach. beach is not in sun after 6t:30 pm.
Comfort element was high in all aspects. Hotel's OWN website could sing its praises better and also open more speedily. One example was I took a hairdryer and didn't need one. Also I felt the interior was nicer than depicted. This comment only refers to the actual Lanthia Resort website and not Booking.com. Would mention that anyone under say 5' 8" would be challenged to reach hanging rails in wardrobe, only very minor negative comment though after a lovely stay.
Friendly staff, great spot, very relaxing
The Lanthia Resort hotel is a very stylish hotel with lovely accommodation and facilities -bar, pool, restaurant. The service was very good and the staff very welcoming. The hotel is in a great location for trips out, if you are thinking about coming to this area you must take a boat ride up the coast! The breakfast needs to be improved, poor ingredients, lacking imagination, I have had better breakfasts in a 3star hotel which is a shame because this is a lovely hotel to stay in.
Location, and the design of the hotel. Swimming pool was great, big, clean and with hot water. The bedroom was also very nice. We didn't get any bathroom soaps or shampoos refills during our stay. The room was too dark, so it would be better to consider the lighting and there was a some dust under the bed. The breakfast shoud have more variety, because it was very poor.
Peaceful and quiet. ideal for resting, reading and relaxing...
excellent seaside location very quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool and apartment were very good quality.car hire probably recommended ,althugh there are local buses but it is quite a remote area.
A lovely resort which offered exactly what it had stated. It is in a great location and near to resturants for those that do not want to use the kitchen avaiable. Had everything we needed.
Location is very good. Beach is close, so are some good restaurants, Santa Maria Navarrese with more restaurants is within walking distance (about 15 - 20 minutes of pleasant walk). The resort is nicely built, huge pool, nice patios, rooms are nice and clean. Owner speaks a good English. The room service only comes every 5th day which is too long especially if you go the beach often a bring some sand with you. Rooms do not have any means for cleaning by yourself. Also, do not trust your GPS too much getting to the location of the resort. If you go from the port of Olbia take the new, slightly longer but substantially better road via Nuoro. GPS may send you via Dorgali which is the old winding road that takes forever. Also beware that the check in hours are limited and you need to speak to the reception beforehand in order to arrive later. Studios are a bit basic, the kitchenettes lack dishwashers and microwaves.
We spent a nice holiday in Tancau Village Resort. The swimming pool is big (1000m2) and has good access also for the children. Our 2 years old daughter loved it. The beach next to the resort is nice, but there are much nicer beaches around - Lido di Orri 15 minutes by car. The most beautiful beaches are in Golfo di Orosei, that are reachable only by boat. We took a charter cruise there, but we rented a gummoni boat too. Gummoni trip was definitely the best experience from Sardinia and is safe also for children. Ask senore Luigi on reception to arrange your trip. The cleaning service was once per 4 day, which is not enough, especially if you have a child. We have ants in our kitchen. The staff use some remedies to keep them out, but they came back in next days.
The resort was brand new so everything was nice and clean. Good facilities allowing us both to cook. Staff were friendly and English speaking, pool is the best thing about the place, fantastic and huge. Beach is not so far away but much better ones can be found 15 - 20 mins in a car, would highly recommend getting a car if going for more than a few days. Few restaurants can be found locally along with basic supermarkets, bigger one 10 min journey in a car. The resort is not too far from the port so boat trips to amazing beaches that cannot be accessed by car on the east coast. All day excursions for around 30 euros +. Would both go back as a very relaxing holiday. Perfect if all you want, Sun, Sea and Sand. No restaurant or supermarket on site but not too far to walk to nearest one.
Fantastic pool, friendly staff, beautiful brand new resort.
It is a quiet resort that is ideal for families or couples who want to relax and do little while they are at the resort (there is plenty to do in the area though). The staff were very helpful and the rooms were great for the cost, loved having two balconies - always one facing the Sun and one in the shade depending on the time of day. It has a big pool and plenty of space for the number of people who could be there. There was nothing that we expected to have been provided that wasn't. Being a fairly new hotel the rooms look new and I could see that they are improving the grounds with more plants etc. The A/C was a little weak and I think I'd have been too hot to sleep in the room if it was mid summer. There were dogs barking in the distance some times during the day, wasn't a great annoyance - just being picky now!
The pool is magnificent. Beach is very close. The apartments are fully equipped and very nice. Great Flatscreen TV and excellent airconditioning. Signage to the site could be better at the turn from the main road.
We always travel when it is "off season". I liked quietness, beach and room facilities there. Everything was like I expected. Value for money.
Nice resort, but in is in the midle of nowhere. Espicially in non-season time, there is nothing you can do...You need a car definetly, otherwise you can rent bikes for free at resort, but the distance to first bigger city or beautiful beaches is too far for bike. Resort do not have 24h reception, only from 9h to 19h, so you have to check-in before 7. P.M, but when they are in, they are very nice and helpful Around resort is almost nothing, one small city 10 minutes by foot, and one big city (Tortoli) 15 minutes by bus. Wi-fi has very week signal in all resort and sometimes it is impossible to connect.
Overall, the stay was easy, which is of course paramount. And, although the staff's personal advice and immediate help were fine, there are two suggestions I might proffer: that the hotel expand the Information Notebook (found in each room) to include 1. specific instructions for the hand-held controls of the heating/cooling units; 2. include in the Notebook more information on suggested touring sites, walks, shopping, local eateries, etc. This is actually rather minor: our room was just below the top-floor restuarant, and on the one night we wished to be early in bed, the noise of scarping chairs on the tile floor from above was a bit much.
The hotel was very nice. Restaurant, hot tub and sky view were all down in the month of October.
The site and the staff, and the hotel restaurant
The location is perfect and the view from the seaview room is wonderful. The staff is helpful and welcoming; I'd highly recommend this hotel to vacationers in Cala Gonone!
the design, the atmosphere, the young spirit, the amazing location, the service, the terrace
it was charming hotel, very kind staff, we had nice room with a great balcony, dinner was excellenent breakfast which is served on the nice terace on 4 th floor can be better, idea of extra paid cappucino for the brekfast (for a room rate of 150 euro) is strange
Location on the beach is fantastic, bar and restaurant well presented. Room spacious with balcony and sea view - double windows. Handy for boat trips to caves and remote beaches.
This was an excellent find. Our room was very clean, bright, and had a wonderful balcony that looked right onto the marina and beach. We were scheduled to stay one night and changed to three. There was also a computer with internet in the hotel, which was useful as WiFi seemed had to find on the island.
helpful friendly staff, parked right outside, right on beach, nice outside bar. restaurant closed by 5th october, however plenty of good places nearby
The location of the Bue Marino is second to none - everything is on your doorstep - small beach, kiosks for boat trips to better beaches, restaurants, dive shop for hire of equipment, supermarket. It overlooks the harbour and the sea - reallly stunning Smell of damp/water in the bathroom. Shower was only ok. Restaurant wasn't open whilst we were there (end of October). Even though you shouldn't need a pool in this area with the abundance of beaches, there is only a jacuzzi available. The stunning views and brilliant location more than compensated for these and yes I would stay there again.
nice welcome, nice rooms, near to a little, clean beach, good food, familiar athmosphere a pleasant stay!
Very nice and friendly staff. Extraordinary good breakfast served in a spectacular room directly across the sea. Pretty har beds
The hospitality of the staff was excellent. They could not do enough. Breakfast on the patio in the sun overlooking the beach was fantastic.
Very nice staff, hotel easy to find, excellent view from room, super place to spend a few days,...
layout of the hotel ,especially the outdoor landscaping, the friendly, casual ,attentive staff, fabulous location
Unfortunately nothing Maybe it was a revenge to my humble personality from Mrs. Mulas from the owners family – I don’t know but this can only describe her as hysterical and revengeful person. Besides looks like with a touch of nationalism too. I am from Russia and I was stupid enough to book a non-refundable booking. Although I knew it would be hard to cancel it, I decided to give it a try and based on unforeseen circumstances I had (my wife suddenly got pregnant) I contacted the hotel and asked to understand my situation and kindly refund me the cost of my booking. Booking was made for the middle of August and I contacted them 5 weeks before, so I thought it wouldn’t be a problem for the hotel to sell my room even at a higher price. They said they couldn’t and suggested that I find someone else to come for the same dates or come in May 2011. This is clear that I would not come in May especially when my child is just born and to find someone else 1 month prior to vacations is also close to impossible and of course they knew it! But the hotel’s reply looked like I’m paid a big favor by offering these opportunities. I would understand if they just said no but I hate such favors! I replied with a little sarcastic letter that I thank them very much for everything but I could not make use of the opportunities offered which is obvious. I also mentioned that in my humble opinion there should be an exception to every rule. But nothing insulting whatsoever! Their reply was humiliating and really insulting. That they don’t like the tone of my letter and they guess how the things are done in Russia but in Italy they always observe the rules (can you imagine that?). Full stop. Then I was VERY lucky to find my customer from Moldova who agreed to come with her daughter for the same dates in August. I gave new guests details to the hotel but they answered my booking was cancelled, although I hadn’t cancel it. I called them and they said the owner, Mrs. Mulas would consider my case when she comes...
The Costa Dorada hotel is quite unique. The set out of the terraces was very different and pretty. Food served was excellent. Nothing
using our balcony to relax after a tireing day on the beach no
Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Spacious rooms, hotel terrace and facade very nice and green, good location. Would recommend, but with caveats (see below) Staff was efficient overall, but not very amiable. Hotel is quite noisy. Walls are surprisingly thin, and it is close to a bar with loud outdoor music (karaoke) until 1 AM, light sleepers will require earplugs.
A friendly and helpfull hotel staff and a wonderful view of the sea from our balcony. Typical Italian breakfast with rather dry bread from yesterday's serving
Place, suroundings, wiev Breakfast was horribel bad. It was not possible to get, fruit, cheese, fresh bread and good cofee
The room and common areas were very clean, the staff spoke the best English that we encountered our whole trip and were extremely helpful, the views from the room are amazing, the breakfast was great, good garage parking. Nothing. The drive on the winding mountain roads might discourage some people but we thought it was beautiful.
The room and facilities were excellent and the location (very near the autostrada) was perfect but it was difficult to find. We would have used it on the way back if we could have found it. Nothing
best location, new, clean, good value for the money, gentle staff
Very helpful staff. Rather strange reception arrangement . ok breakfast.
The location, the view from the room, the friendliness of the staff and the attached restaurant. A slightly eccentric lift.
A warm welcome and helpful friendly staff. Our room was perfect -very comfortable and cool! We ate in the restaurant where the food was delicious and service of an excellent standard. Breakfast on the terrace was a real treat with fresh fruit and pastries also on offer. A delightful 3 day stay.
Lovely hotel in the most amazing location. We had a sea facing room and I can't recomment it enough. Good price for a sea facing room with balcony. Would definitely stay here again. We had twin beds which was fine, but they were a little on the small side. Otherwise, faultless.
Breakfast and the view side. The restaurant at night is fantastic!
location;the room;pleasant staff
Everything! Could not have asked for a better location. Rooms were new with modern design, very spacious and extremely clean. Staff were very friendly. no
Very friendly smiling and helpful staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Top proffesional staff. Great rooms. Very nice interiour. Excellent restaurant: diner and breakfast. All in all, best hotel I´ve ever stayed in.
Friendly and helpful staff, location close to the beach and atmospheric bar
Very personal treatment, almost as family member. Very nice room. Great restaurant. Beautiful beaches and mountains nearby. A little finishing necessary in garden and restaurant to make it a true design hotel
Nice hotel, the personnel was very pleasant and attentive. Hotel has a good position, close to the beach (50 мt) in a quiet place covered with trees. The breakfast was very good, also it has good restaurant menu with different sardinian plates, especially good and fresh local fish.
The owner was extremely friendly and over the top helpful with any questions we had. The room was beautifully decorated as was the lobby and breakfast room. The breakfast was delicious and artistically displayed for a buffet. Just a lovely visit.
The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good although sometimes they were slow in replacing items that had run out. The fact that beach umbrellas and loungers were included in the price was good and also the fact that the hotel supplied beach towels.
Friendly, genuine and pleasant people, beautiful trees and marvelous beach, clean water make someoe feel fine. Stephania runs a good job.
We loved the staff. They made us feel very welcome. We got a cappuchino and a nice cake to welcome us.The suite room is nice, Very basic and natural. The beach is nearby. We where very disappointed to hear that the restaurant was closed. Should be mentioned on booking. com because there is not a good restaurant in Santa maria navarese.
The food and the service are top level! Everyone is very professional and customer oriented.
A boutique hotel with some interesting design features, comfortable rooms and really nice staff (it's owned and run by four sisters). The restaurant was the best we tried in town. The beach is just across the road and the hotel has an arrangement with the lounger/umbrella concession. It provides free beach towels as well. Good base for swimming, snorkelling and walking.
Very nice hotel and very friendly people
