Very nice apartment/hotel complex with comfortable rooms. Beds and bathroom were just fine and with a small living room there's plenty of room for your stuff. Location was one of the factors for choosing Del Bosque. Its right in the center of Ushuaia and from your apartment you can walk to all offices to books activities and tours and nice restaurants as well. Try Tante Sara for lunch! The staff was friendly and professional.
The charge for laundry is too much, even if they did do a good job.
The room was large and spacious, with a dining table and kitchenetter-type amenities such as a sink, crockery and cutlery, microwave and a mini-fridge. The room had been recently renovated so was in excellent condition and the housekeeping staff kept it immaculate during our stay.
The hotel is located about five blocks from the main shopping/eating strip of San Martin, up a sometimes steep hill. While this did not bother me so much, it might be of concern for older travellers, especially as the footpaths are in terrible condition and the steepness of the hill could be a problem in snowy or icy weather.
Breakfast was a lottery, depending on the volume of people eating at the same time, and the WiFi was not working the entire stay. And no explanation or compensation was forthcoming.
