Beautiful situation. Friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious. Our only regret was that it was a bit too chilly to eat outside but that was certainly not the hotel's fault:-)
The dinner menu (we were on the dinner, B&B formula) was a bit too restricted, but quality was good.
The "Hotel" is a mixture of a restaurant, a pub, a bar and rooms for rent. The small village has a wonderfull atmosphere. There are a lot of young people around this place what makes you feel younger as well. The view from the terrace in front of the rooms is amazing. Breakfast is basic, French type bread-butter-croissant-coffee served in a wonderful style. We suppriced by the silence of the (after 23:00, when the ventillation systems stopped working..) The layout is good, the bathroom faces to the street,
The ventillation system of the restaurant leading up in the house along the walls of the guest rooms. It makes terrible noise. Large part of the door of the room is glas, with some material to make some darkness in the night. It is simply not enough. The pillow is a joke. Some parts are old.
Friendly staff, juggling the bar and hotel. Not at all like an efficient chain hotel. Excellent food in the restaurant, cold beer and decent wine.
The main issue is the bedroom door is full length opaque glass and the blind on the inside has been broken and long removed. It is still private enough but you may imagine this may just involve a gentle wake up with the sun rise but no, there is a security light that flashes on and off every 10 seconds close by all night which is extremely annoying. Our French was not up to reporting it and although a few staff had reasonable English I was not going to even try to explain the issue. If fixed I would stay there again.
Staff were very welcoming
Location was fabulous with fantastic views Bedroom was comfortable and clean The rstaurant served great food and the staff were lovely
