We ate dinner there and it was very good.
Have stopped at Logis Hotel Teyssier several times on journeys through France. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. I have dietary problems and chef very helpful and produces excellent meal - problems always discussed before service so he has time to prepare. Rooms well appointed and furnished but it must be remembered it is a very old building. Each visit some area of hotel has been very tastefully refurbished.
It was quieter than we'd expected from reviews with a good view over the river. Breakfast was good.
Location and easy to find The booking.com website stated that there would be adjoning rooms for family rooms. This was not the case, instead two doubel beds were fiteed into a medium size room. We felt mislead.
The food was excellent - better than we expected looking at the menu! The bed was rather hard! The television was positioned too high up to watch comfortably.
Comfortable bed. (a) Wi-Fi was not free; (b) No shelf in shower for soap, shampoo, etc.; (c) very few non-French TV stations; Reception staff not comfortable speaking English.
Central position Not really modern room. Having to pay for wifi these days!
I liked the location of the hotel, however the car park was not available at all times.Anyway, a nice place in the heart of the town.I liked the nice atmosphere as well, and attentive staff.
the space in the room - ease of access to the city of Uzuch when room was closed difficult to access internet
Fantastic restaurant, a very roomy suite and a lovely setting with doors leading out to the pool.
Manager was very frendly.Food was good and well presented.Choice on menu was limited if spending more than two nights.
A lovely quiet and very clean hotel, which is worth more than it's 3 stars. Absolutely gorgeous food, expensive but worth it
Very pleasant room, excellent meal, good parking facilities and very welcoming staff The only thing I would have liked is a more exact address so my sat nav could find the way - for instance an actual street would have been helpful
Perfect rooms, motel type, you park your car in front of the room. Very good beds, small but very good accomodation. Superior restaurant with attractive menu proposition. you can also book a room in half pension. In this case, the menu of 33 euro is included in the price and this is a bargain. Excellent breakfast, very pleasant people.
Very good Restaurant . Very nice staff on reception and in dining room . The price .
Cleanliness, excellent food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Access to free wi-fi very useful. Swimming pool renovation incomplete
Evening meals very enjoyable. Room could have been warmer.
Older hotel with lovely grounds and very comfortable. quiet, accomodation
Lovely place in lovely surrounding. Friendly owners made us really welcome. Ideal stop between Ferries and the South. Will definitely use again.
Beautifully restored barn, spacious accommodation, very hospitable and helpful owners. Highly recommended!
Nothing was to much trouble & made to feel very welcome. Lovely setting & easy to find. We shall return next year!
Friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms were well furnished and we were made to feel right at home. This is a guest house, the children were welcomed and we were very comfortable. Highly recommended.
The owners were very friendly and had good local knowledge.
Lovely gardens, friendly owners. It was not a hotel - but a converted barn bed and breakfast. Location and excellent bistro restaurant within 5 minutes walk. En suite facilities very small.
Clean hotel with friendly staff, we were made very welcome.
Initial reception from the husband and wife owners was very welcoming. Had to prepay the bill for overnight stay and once paid the initial warmth of the owners evaporated. Wanted a drink at the bar at just after 10pm and we were rushed into finishing it so they could close up. We had two rooms, both of which were very run down. They were clean, but only in the most basic sense. Beds were uncomfortable and I was not tempted to use the shower. Overall, cheap but not very cheerful.
It was welcoming without being fussy, comfortable without being luxurious and you got what you paid for without pretending to offer more.
friendly staff & helpfull Damp mould on walls but OK as 1 night stop
Food excellent and good value
A fairly good price-service relation. Relatively copious breakfast bufffet (this was very appreciated by both of us). Clean room. The hotel in Tulle stands out favourably in comparison with the low quality P'tit Dej-Hotel at Aurillac which we had the displeasure to visit thereafter. Considering the still moderate price, what we found corresponded to what we expected. By the way, our visit in the P'tit Dej-Hotel at Tulle was not the first one.
The food in the restuarant was excellent. Pleasant eating areas in side and outside the hotel. Good value for money. Rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard. The Pool was clean and surrounded by garden very pleasant to sit round. The hotel itself had plenty of french character, the bedrooms in adjoining building were quite modern and nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. My only negative comment would be about the double bed in the triple room. The mattress was quite hard.
The staff were friendly the rooms were great and the food excellent Nothing
The staff were very good and welcoming .
Staff/owners very welcoming - nothing too much trouble. Food here is very good and fairly priced - breakfast is excellent! An ideal stopover for us and would use again.
value for money due to the locations of the bedroom, no internet, you have to go in the hotel
Convenience and price
Relaxed atmosphere; convenient for visitors wishing to explore the countryside of Limousin.I liked the fact we were not in a traditional "hotel bedroom", but that we had our own self-contained "cabin" in the hotel grounds; although this aspect may not appeal to everybody. Easy car parking. Good lunch and dinner facilities Swimming pool - not inviting - littered with flies; generally not looked after.Unfortunate because the weather was hot and a swim would have been refreshing. Tea or coffee making facilities in the cabin would have been helpful; not everybody wants to participate in a formal breakfast.
