Cons: Maybe the rendez-vous arrangements. We should have messaged the host an arrival time though.
Pros: Jean-Claude was very helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was great (with some home made products) and the surroundings were wonderful - a view on the Jura mountains, Lake Neuchatel, cows / horses, a golf course nearby... It's a wonderful place for a short stay around Neuchatel - just be sure you go there by car / bus as the hike can be challenging.

Pros: all good
Cons: if you are afraid of dogs you better let the people know
Pros: Fraindly family Excellent break fast
Pros: It is a farmhouse, fully in operation with all that comes with it.
Pros: This does what it says - it's on the farm, about one mile from the nearest restaurant. Fabulous views across the valley, and, despite the proximity to the barn, quiet and not smelly. Our hostess and I managed to communicate with my schoolboy French, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The breakfast, in the farm kitchen, was more than adequate.
Cons: For an authentic farm stay, nothing. It is in the countryside, so don't expect amenities on your doorstep.
Pros: if you take the route from France to Suisse using the bordercrossing Biaufond this is the perfect first night in Suisse at an autentic cowfarm.
Pros: A very reasoanably priced room in a farm house, a friendly host. Breakfast is in her kitchen with a view onto the pastures.
Pros: Christiane presented a clean and comfortable room for a reasonable price.very handy to Nuchatel barnhoff-day park available .watch speed radar at vandalin_50!!

Pros: very comfy bed, great tv
Pros: not much,,, bed was comfy and wifi was good but that's really the only good bit
Cons: ok here we go,,, its a working farm which i expected so not a surprise,,,but my room was a familt room in the main house,,you had to walk through the family living area to get to you room,( made me feel very uncomfortable),they also had dogs for me not a problem as i like dog but every singler time to walked from outside to in or from inside to out the dogs would bark and could be quite intimidating for some, in the room the was a kettle that didnt work which was pointless really as the was no coffee, out of date tea bags and no milk, breakfast was in the family kitchen and choice was poor

Pros: The inn is sits in the middle of idyllic fields away from towns, but at the nexus of horse walking and bike trails.
Cons: The shared bathroom and shower was fine but for the price dampened my enthusiasm for the place.
Pros: Auberge Chez L'Assesseur is a quiet place located in the beautiful nature of Mont Soleil, where you could hike, cycle (mountain)bike or ride horses. The staff is very friendly. Although the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday, the staff prepared a nice diner for me. I assume the food is great on the days the restaurant is open. I have been here just for one night, but you can easily stay here many days to explore the nature of Mont Soleil. The room and auberge have a nice and cosy atmosphere.
Pros: Lovely little hotel with great food. Hospitality was super. Will come back with the family one day in summer to enjoy the surroundings.
Pros: Beautifull authentic hotel. Food in the restaurant was delicious and Adrian was a superhost!
Pros: Cosy place run by very friendly and welcoming staff
Pros: Nice quiet location. Very clean room. Great dinner. Very friendly staff.
Cons: We kept fighting the flies while eating. The hotel should do something about it, especially at breakfast. Just put a plastic or glass cover over the food and cheese, the problem is easily solved.

Les Gümmenen B&B offers organised hiking tours on full moon nights, husky dog rides and snow shoeing tours. Guests can also visit the regular ski tracks located just 1 km from the house.
Pros: Beautiful location. Friendly host.
Cons: Host spoke VERY little English, though advertised as speaking English. Breakfast was plentiful, but not the best, ad consisted of dry bread jam and cheese. Flies everywhere.
Pros: If you are going to pay a high fee to a travel agent for a homestay at Switzerland home, this is the BEST B&B. This farm stands in the middle of a hill with a nice view. Cows eat grass, goats walk, and a dog ran in the garden, and a large tractor stops in front of the farm. This is a really "active" farm. Don't miss the stars in the night sky in the sound of cow-bells. Very friendly hosts live in the same space and all hosts are friendly and kind. Their daughter was very polite. She greeted us with a formal bowing, and gave us a memorial present. This will be our treasure of Switzerland travel. At dinner, you can eat Switzerland homemade dishes. The food is very delicious! Everything was wonderful memory what the host told us. She is a flower artist and had learned Japanese IKE-BANA. The flower arrangements of the restaurant and rooms are all her works. Those were great works. It's about 10 minutes' walk from the B&B to the top of the pass. We went to the top at the sunset, strolled around for an hour. In the next morning, we hiked to the top again to see Sunrise. There was an incredibly beautiful view of the Southern Alps. That view still crosses my mind. Breakfast is bread and cheese, this is a simple and perfect breakfast! Fresh fruits were served a lot (in our case those were grapes), and the jam was homemade. Juice is taken from the host family home. Of course, cappuccino is also provided. There is no cutting corners. We paid in cash after the breakfast. Total fee was 140 CHF. (We shared two dishes for dinner, had two coffees and aperitifs). It was a very reasonable, amazing relaxed Switzerland life. I'd like to go back to that comfy bed soon. Highly recommended!
Cons: You'll need a car, but you can get to this B&B by easy hike in about an hour from Le Reymond station. There is a yellow hiking guide in front of the station. Please walk to Tête de Ran or Col de la Vue des Alpes with Google! The pick-up service seems to be provided by host's husbands only. If you need a pick-up service, I think it would be more polite to email before booking. (All e-mails were written in German. You can probably email in French or Italian too.)
Only 6 km away from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Hotel Vue-des-Alpes offers panoramic views of the Alps and Lake Neuchatel. Free Wi-Fi is available. The Vue-des-Alpes features a sauna, a massage room, and a children’s playroom. The restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine and fine wines. A bus stop with direct connections to La Chaux-de-Fonds is right outside. The local tourism office is in the same building, and a children’s playground and a chapel are next to the Vue-des-Alpes. A ski lift and a ski school are directly opposite, and many hiking and mountain bike trails, as well as cross-country ski runs, are nearby. Free parking and a bicycle rental are available at Hotel Restaurant Vue-des-Alpes.
Pros: Located next to the hiking trail. Friendly staff. Restaurant is ok. Clean room, good bed.
Cons: Great view , but next to road and truck/bike stop. Noisy cars and bikes. Very basic room. Shared showers and toilette below standard
Pros: The location is great.
Cons: The hotel is outdated, never worth the price paid for the room. I mean it's ok, but either the room should be a more decent price, or they should refurbish it.

Cons: The room was shoddy and the floors unsanitary with old fitted carpet. We had to pay CHF 20.- more than adverted on booking. The service stuff are very unfriendly and the room never worth the price.
Pros: Good location in center and next to train station. Basic but sufficient room. Large bath with window. Restaurant with nice Terrasse. Easygoing staff.
Cons: Couldn’t open one window, some repairs pending. But still ol.
Pros: The location and the restaurant attached to the hotel were great, the coffee even better. The room was basic, but clean. The bed very comfortable. It was a good stopping point for our cycling trip and we could store the bikes. Staff friendly. Breakfast good.
Cons: Never again I will stay in this hotel, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Not clean, not safe, very dated, breakfast very poor. Only French speaking Staff.
Pros: Inexpensive, and a good night rest in an acceptable room. Good pizza and friendly service in the restaurant.
Cons: The rooms are a bit run down, but everything works.
Pros: Quiet room but basic.
Pros: Perfectly located in St imier, People working there were very nice.
Cons: The Wifi was not working correctly with my laptop. However it works very well with my mobile phone.
Pros: The Pizza
Cons: I had pre-paid but the msnagemnt said they did not receive payment and so I had to pay again, very very unacceptable. I expect a refund for the duplicate payment immediately. The bed was horrible. No extra sheets provided. The airconditioning was not working and the place was smelly. Big mistake staying at this place and will never ever stsy there. All above is secondary: I expect my forced duplicate payment to be refunded.
The Hotel Le Cheval Blanc is housed in a historical building situated in the ancient part of Saint Blaise, which is located only 5 km from Neuchâtel. The rooms have bee renovated in contemporary style and feature free wireless internet access. Several possibilities for hiking and a golf course in the vicinity make the Hotel du Cheval Blanc a great place for active holidays. There is a charming contrast between the retro-style rooms and the modern bathrooms. From some of them, you can admire a very beautiful view over Lake Neuchâtel and towards the Jura Mountains. The well-known restaurant of the Hotel du Cheval Blanc offers you refined Swiss and international cuisine.
Cons: One evening when coming back to hotel at 8.30pm all the doors were locked. I had to take a taxi and go to another hotel. Very upsetting. The morning I left I had to leave without breakfast while I had paid for it the night before. The owner decided to sleep in. I tried to call him but no response.
Pros: It is clean. The bed is comfortable. The guy at the reception is kind. Speaks very little English but uses google translate.
Cons: No lift. Narrow spiral staircase. Virtually no amenities. No coffee maker. No mini bar and no phone in the room. WiFi is useless. Connected but cannot download anything, not even email. Can only WhatsApp.
Pros: Room was small but clean and confortable, the manager was pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was barely adequate. Bread and croissants were stale and bananas were almost black.
Cons: The list is endless , no reception not hotel signs , in need of a complete refurb
Cons: A very run down, grotty hotel! May have been a grand building in its day but is now very neglected and not at all well presented. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels in about 30 countries and generally aren’t very fussy but this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in !!! Room was tiny and facilities very basic. Room felt unpleasant. Would not recommend to anyone!
Pros: Nice patio to gather with friends after a long day of cycling. Easy check in and out.
Pros: The room was basic and perfectly acceptable for one night. The bathroom we very big and seems newly fitted. The beds and bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast was somewhat limited but enjoyable nonetheless.
Pros: The bathroom and the fact that there was a bathtub. The room was quite spacious.
Cons: The heating was quite ineffective and the mattresses would always separate during the night, which made it difficult and uncomfortable to sleep.
Pros: Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was OK.
Cons: The whole hotel smelled like the kitchen. Difficult to park (only 3 places). Not tidy. Place had seen better times.
Cons: the impossibility to sleep with church clock chimes every 15 mins throughout the night. Had to leave after one terrible night although we had to pay for the two we had booked.
