Interesting place to stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant food is ok too (we had read other reviews and were a bit worried but needlessly) Felt like the hotel was perched on a rock (it was!) and sleeping in the gods is not for me. Room was small and the bathroom drain was a bit smelly. Car parking is a nightmare - be prepared for a long walk & haul
Being right in the old town no airconditioning or ceiling fan in room. Staff not very welcoming
Location; the pool (but it was a bit cold!); the view from the bedrooms; the rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. No, my teenagers and I had a wonderful time at your hotel. Tanhk you for asking our opinion!
the view from our room was wonderful and the location perfect. We did'nt have hot water, because the weather is cooler this time of the year we really did need a hot shower to warm to warm up. but everthing else was really good.
Hotel was by and large as described on Internet. Great position and a 'room with a view'. Doubt it would ever command a four star rating. We arrived on a Monday to find that the Hotel Restaurant was closed in keeping with the other Restauants and most Bars in Albarracin on that dat. No mention of this in advance so that we went hungry!
The view over the town especially at night. Pool relaxing. Dark.
very small room with sewage smell
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, excellent location, great views of the historical town. Nada.
The village is beautiful For the high prices asked, you'd expect much more. And the breakfast is extra at 11 euros...
Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely room. Hotel very nice. Great location. Evening Meal in restaurant.Eat somewhere else.
Helpful and friendly staff.
The hotel was at the heart of Albarracin which meant that we could walk and explore the whole town without driving. I thought the breakfast could have been improved by having a buffet style continental breakfast. As we stayed mid week we did struggle to find good restaurants open, but we managed.
we were on the fringe of town, close to most things.
The setting position and the Hotel were outstanding, will definately go back there, lots of character. Nice and comfortable but stylish too Only problems we had, was the bathroom floor was not cleaned it must have just been overlooked as the rest of the room was spotless. Also there was not a mirror in the room, just one in the bathroom, which was not sufficent when you are both getting ready etc. Its normal to have a full length mirror in the room.
Beautiful room, spacious, clean and fantastic view. Best place we stayed at in Spain! Breakfast was extremely basic.
Perfect location for visiting the beautiful old town of Albarracin and Teruel. Two mins away from the lovely Pine Forest. Excellent food in the restaurant, Breakfast is freshly served with delicious hams, breads and cakes. The hotel is family run and they make you feel very welcomed and offer local info etc.I would love to return to this hotel and explore this idyllic area some more. The bedrooms would benefit from insect nets.
Our stay in the Hotel was very good, and the staff were very helpful. No there was nothing to dislike.
Very friendly staff - the owners wife spoke excellent english and the meal she prepared was fantastic!
Very pleasant stay in beautiful surrounding countryside. The staff were very helpful and the food excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to my friends. We could find no fault with the hotel.
Beautiful location. Tranquil and restful after long journey. Owners very friendly and helpful. Room and ensuite very clean --could just have done with a fan as hot at night (July) Good food at dinner but more expensive than anticipated. Some people may find location a bit too isolated but it was ideal for us.
Staff helpful Road repairs outside created much dust. Food was overpriced and of poor quality. Rooms not available as booked
It was a very informal hotel, one of the friendliest that we have stayed in. Everybody there was helpful and courteous. It is in a very quiet location with lots of interesting places to visit nearby. We would most definitely stay there again. There wasn't a fan in the room nor were there any fly screens fitted to the windows and as it was hot when we stayed it was a little uncomfortable. There are no brochures on display informing you of the numerous places to visit in the area although we were immediately given them when we asked.
Friendliness of the staff
Staff were friendly but rooms that we booked were unavailable and a poor explanation of why they were not.Nice sized drinks ! Meals were expensive and small portions - steer clear of the rabbit (pile of bones) 2kg Steak for two (80% fat and inedible)
Friendly. Very good tapas. Good range of single malt whiskies which I did not expect from an out-of-the-way, small hotel. The 2 tapas I had were expensive (4 and 6 euros respectively) No price list was proffered. The bedroom smelled too strongly of antiseptic - I think from the floor being mopped with it.
