Pros: The horse riding tours were amazing
Pros: Wonderful staff so kind and helpful and great horses. Andreas was a great host and riding guide.
Pros: Marina and Andres are very nice hosts, you get a feel for the real country life on an old estancia, Marina served delicious meals, and Andres gave lots of helpful explanations on a horse ride through the beautiful campo. the familie suite with authentic furniture was great, and fireplaces in the living room and bedroom made it very cosy.
Pros: Fabulous hosts and wonderful food. We were made very welcome and had a great stay. This isn't one of those touristy places, it is a real working farm and a real country family.
Cons: We found the bed very hard, too much so for our liking. Wi-fi was pretty iffy, but I expected that considering the fairly remote location.
Pros: This estancia is absolutely amazing! You can really feel the history, it has been around since the mid-1800's. Marina (a fifth-generation member of the family that built the establishment) and her husband Andrés operate this cozy and breathtaking place to stay. I was unfortunately only able to stay for about 12 hours, but it was clear to me that I would be returning. Oh, and the breakfast really is exceptional! I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to experience the Uruguayan countryside. Thanks so much!
Pros: Best place in Uruguay "interior": beautiful place, nicest people: simply perfect!
Pros: What a amazing place! A beautiful old estancia on top of a hill, great viepoepie uws, animals around, nice walks to experience the real gaucho country and what a nice people! (Preparing good local food as well). One of the very best stays during my 3 month Latin America trip.
