Pros: You feel exceptionnaly welcome to Maison Bovard, the hosts are very attentive and like to share everything about their region. They are very helpful to find a restaurant, give information about the surrounding mountains and the culture of the Valley. The breakfast was excellent (regional products, homemade bread and cake, etc...).
Pros: We loved everything about Maison Bovard! It is beautifully located in Valgrisenche, ideal for outdoor activities. The rooms are quiet, cozy, spacious and super clean. There is a familial, warm atmosphere with very welcoming hosts who did everything to make our stay enjoyable,... from serving a delicious breakfast with homemade breads and pies and local products... to sharing detailed information about the Valle D'Aosta region, its history, its many beautiful, scenic trails and local events. Overall it was a wonderful stay, which exceeded our expectations; we highly recommend Maison Bovard to anyone who wants to visit the area.

Pros: Incredibly friendly, fine place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, great restaurant, comfortable room and the most helpful and welcoming staff. We spent a lovely week here and definitely hope to come back.

Pros: Very good choice of food at breakfast time and in the evening, including gluten free options and 0km food.
Pros: All the rooms had balconies with views of surrounding mountains. Location is across the street from Gran Paradiso information office. Trailheads for spectacular hikes up one valley and down another are steps away - abundant hiking choices. Breakfast and half board dinner feature huge selection and great food. Staff were enormously kind to me despite my poor French and even worse Italian.

Cons: My room was comfortable but a bit basic, probably because it was a single room.
Featuring a garden with BBQ, La Maison du Guide is in Rhemes-Saint-Georges. Offering free Wi-Fi and free bike rental, it is 10 km from the Rhemes-Notre-Dame ski slopes and 30 km from the Gran Paradiso National Park. With a furnished patio, the studios have a kitchenette. They are equipped with a TV, sofa and washing machine. Guests at La Maison du Guide can play table tennis or pool in the game area. On request, the owner can organize mountain tours. The property is 20 km from Aosta. A shuttle service to the city or to Turin can be arranged on request.
Pros: Beautiful valley, lovely town... a nice discovery! Drive to the end of the valley and hike up to Rifugio Benevolente. It is a stunning place.
Cons: We were 10 people and one bathroom, so things got really hard at times. It is the only problem with the house, it require an "army schedule". Otherwise we felt very comfortable.
