I did not like one thing. This was the worst hotel I have experienced in my 6 months in France. If you want to kill the mood, crush the happy feeling, not sleep due to noise and mosquitos, and perhaps bring on a case of heat stroke - stay here. There are a series of large signs telling you about all the additional charges. Lovely. It will cost you €5/hour for internet, or €20 for unlimited....For one night? Too far to walk into town center. Any hotel in this town would be better. The staff below the manager were quite nice though - I did appreciate their efforts to help us after she was so nasty.
When you walk into this hotel, you are greeted by a manager that reminded me of one of the bouncers on Jerry Springer - scary and mean. The business plan of this establishment is clearly about profit, not comfort. It is not in their best interest to provide you with service. We did not receive any towels to take showers until 10pm - 10pm! The manager made it clear it was our fault for expecting so much and we just had to get over it. No soap was provided - even to wash your hands in the bathroom... not that there is a sink anywhere near the toilet to wash hands. No fans, tiny windows = hot all night (it's France, ok with no air con - let's be realistic)... A great place to mingle with working class families of France...right...STAY Away
I thought the hotel was clean well layed out and in a great area. The staff were very helpful and friendly and i would definately go back at some point, hopefully next year.
It was very spacious for a reasonable price.
We didn't get any hotel services such as daily cleaning, change of sheets or towels. We rented it for three nights instead of a full week but the service was as for a rental of an apartment for a full week not a hotel. So perhaps you should change the info one receives when booking just to know in advance.
