Pros: Only stayed for one night and Everything is to be liked about this place! (Keep in mind it's a traditional Canarian countryside experience) Owner is an incredible host with su much local knowledge and generosity. Free breakfast is more like Free Royal Breakfast
Cons: Parking can be tricky for some but that's part of the traditional Canarian countryside experience when you live up on the hills
Pros: beautiful clean room,comfortable bed,great location,great ample breakfast,good facilities.very amiable,helpful owner/host.Good value for the price.
Pros: It was a great experience, thank you very much, David!
Pros: We spent here only one night - but it was an unforgettable closing of our trip. David is a helpful and attentive host and we were amazed by the warm welcome, the tastefully renovated and decorated house, by the mountain views and the wonderful breakfast (which is an experience in itself). This place is a must visit on the island!
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic, fresh local produce in abundance, served on the terrace. David, the host, is attent and friendly, providing tips where to go and where to eat and what to try. The room was clean and comfy, in a typical 200 year old farm house. Everything is as described in the add.
Cons: We loved everything about the place, its location in the valley, the rooster greeting the rising sun, but it should be kept in mind that this is not a place for people with reduced mobility.
Pros: Loved the breakfast, the quiet location and views. The hosts were wonderful and helpful.
Cons: The location was marked, but in a spot we didn't see, and bothered the neighbors to find. When you get to the address, don't go in the gate immediately in front of you. Go down the steep path to the left.
Pros: We've had a great experience: waking up to the sounds of the nature, amazing breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view, and above all, having the feeling of being at home. Great place to calm down and find your peace.
Pros: very kind host, helpful and attentive to virtually every detail within his power.
Cons: intimacy might depends a bit on other the guests

Pros: It’s located in the beautiful town Telde. The hostel is beautiful and clean everywhere. The owner Rita is such a nice and lovely girl. She gives me all the informations I needed and we spent a pleasant time together. You can’t miss it when you visit Gran Canaria!
Pros: Rita the receptionist was friendly, welcoming and respectful. The place was clean, everything the room, the bed, the kitchen, and the Bathroom. A closet to put your valuable things in it. The hostel is in the middle of everything there are restaurants nearby, supermarkets and shops.
Cons: However, smoking is not allowed inside the building, only in the open area inside the hostel, but it would be perfect if smoking is not allowed at all.
Pros: Amazing host, very clean, good location in the non touristic part, it felt like living as a family there
Pros: Awesome place, super helpful staff.
Pros: It's very clean. The female dorm had loads of space. Rita was informative and funny and she taught me some Spanish
Cons: The bathroom light turning off numerous times whilst taking a shower. No coffee machine.
Pros: Good kitchen clean bathroom
Pros: Love this clean friendly place
Cons: All good
Pros: Very convenient location, dormitory and kitchen well organized and spotless. Rita the receptionist was more than kind and helpful. An absolute overall 10 out of 10 without any doubt. Thanks a lot.
Located in Aguimes, Quintana Rooms is within a 5-minute drive of Playa del Zoco Negro and Cabrón Beach.
Pros: New furniture and new bathroom, everything you need. Small own terrace Really nice staff!
Cons: It was an apartment, shared with other people, what we did not know, or did not realize. But we had booked the suite with own bathroom and small terrace, so there is enough privacy!
Pros: Great location, clean & tidy, very accommodating host!
Cons: I didn't realise it was shared facilities but not a problem. They could do with a sign
Pros: Staff were wonderful Helpful polite and the room was very clean.
Pros: Place was very clean, very easy to find, close to the beach/restaurants. Everything you need was provided (going the extra mile with iron board and hair dryer). Small nice touches fron the owner. We will come back!
Cons: Not very charming.
Pros: It is almost in style like hotel...you got some free bottles of water and even a sweet surprise....wery high standard in that price level ;) + easy free parking nearby ;)
Cons: The host does not know speak English at all but he uses some Google translate app so at the end it was Ok ;) in case you would like to spend there some time in that location bare in mind it is quite windy.... But we used it just for one night. + The flat is shared with others (3more rooms I guess) ;) + finding the property was little problem you have to call the host that he would come so maybe call him 10min in advance that you do need to wait :)
Pros: The host was the best! Very helpful and friendly!
With a stay at Hotel Rural Casa de los Camellos in Aguimes, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Barranco de Guayadeque and within a 5-minute drive of Nostra Senora de la Candelaria Church. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: The location was excellent, places of interest were within walking distance. The bus station was nearby, where I could get buses to travel around the island. The staff at the hotel were welcoming, professional and most helpful. I wish to thank them all for making my stay most enjoyable. This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel.
Cons: It was very cold at night in the room!!!
Pros: The staff were so friendly! Don't let the word "rural" scare you. The location is well populated and central (unlike the center of the island like Tejeda). The town of Agüimes is so pretty! The hotel is so charming. From wood, metal and stones -- they've restored so much of history and presented it back to you thoughtfully.
Cons: There are no elevators. We stopped at this hotel in the middle of a long journey so we had big and heavy suitcases. We also asked for them to store them at the office so we don't have to carry them up the stairs - they denied that option as well. If you are traveling lighter than us, it's a great hotel to stay at!
Pros: Location was fantastic.
Cons: Beds were hard, breakfast was terrible (sorry, but it was). Instead of the free breakfast at the hotel, we bought breakfast at the lovely little tea shop next door. We stayed 3 nights, but bottles of water were only given on the first night.
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: Beds are realy hard and rooms are noisy, you can hear your nybors talk and hear every word
Pros: the receptionist helped me with something l could not do on my phone. the hotel is well located in the town.
Cons: everything was nice.
Pros: - Very pretty hotel at the heart of Agüimes - Very friendly and attentive staff - Agüimes is a very quaint, attractive town
Cons: - Breakfast was rather on the simple side. No warm elements and old, stale buns that you as guest would toast up again at the spot. - Agüimes is very quiet. We were here during the week, but no restaurant was open at 21:00 - The beds were not too comfortable and the bathroom also pretty basic. Nothing outrageous or really bad, it is just okay.
With a stay at Casa Rural La Piedra Viva in Aguimes, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Barranco de Guayadeque and within a 5-minute drive of Nostra Senora de la Candelaria Church.
Pros: The location and staff were helpful
Cons: No fan in the room upon arriving for the first night very uncomfortable No breakfast offered but I believe it was advertised
Pros: Practical and good value. Local pub really good
Cons: Concierge had zero english. No name on premises. Taxi got lost
Pros: Authentic and charming
Cons: Help yourself breakfast
Pros: Absolutely beautiful little place. The rooms and the communal spaces (a little courtyard and living room/kitchen) are adorable. The room we had was big, comfortable and cosy. The location is perfect in the old town of Aguimes. A real gem of a place!
Pros: A special place to stay, a beautiful traditional Canarian house in the old town centre.
Pros: great LOCATION OPPOSITE MUSEUM. RELATIVELY QUIET, EASY WALK TO BUS STATION AND NEAR THE OLD PART OF THE TOWN WHICH IS LOVELY..tHE KITCHEN IS VERY WELL EQUIPPED. I TOLD THEM I WAS ARRIVING LATE AND THEY WERE WAITING FOR ME. I WAS ABLE TO SPEND AN ENJOYABLE MORNING READING IN THE COURTYARD AND FELT WELCOME.
Cons: MY FIRST NIGHT SINGLE BED WAS FAR TOO HARD BUT THE PROPRIETERS KNOW THIS AND WANTED TO MOVE ME BEFORE I TOLD THEM THIS. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY BUT SPOKE VERY LITTLE ENGLISH OVERALL. IT IS THEREFORE MUCH EASIER JUST TO GET A TAXI HERE - DO NOT BOTHER TO BOOK ONE BEFORE HAND.
Pros: Nice large room. Comfy bed.Nice decor. great location with street parking.Close to airport.
Cons: Could not access the WiFi
Pros: Staff willing to help. Cleaniliness is top priority for them
Cons: Noise from the moving trucks off the main toad
With a stay at Hotel Rural Villa de Agüimes in Aguimes, you'll be a 5-minute walk from Barranco de Guayadeque and within a 5-minute drive of Nostra Senora de la Candelaria Church. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: The location is superb and the staff is very helpful. We did not stay at the Hotel Rural Villa Aguimes but we had an upgraded to Hotel Rural Casa de Los Camellos which is a very nice hotel. The decorations keep the atmosphere of boutique and traditional Spanish casa style. We also got an email to inform us before checking in that we are upgraded. It means that the management is excellent. We also leave in the morning for the flight back home. Aguimes would be an excellent choice as it is near the airport especially if you have a morning flight.
Cons: The only thing missing is the elevator. But we totally understand it is only a 2-floor building that perhaps does not need any lift. We wish if the breakfast has boiled egg or fried egg would be lovely.
Pros: Super clean and comfortable. Convenient overnight stop near Airport. Nice internal patios.
Cons: Nearby cafés/bars open quite late in the morning - not good for breakfast choice. Church with loud chimes very near!
Pros: Very good old furniture. Very central
Cons: A lot of noise from the street until 1:00
Pros: There was everything my little heart desired. I was hungry actually, having worked hard over the previous day, and I must say breakfast offered everything.
Cons: This is a general criticism of this part of the world and not really particular to this property. It is the water. I am used to drinking pure water. I do not like water from the public supply, which is full of chlorine and other toxic substances. I would also like to have had a bottle of water in the room. Really this is a very small point, and I must mitigate with saying again what a great stay I had.
Pros: Spacious room, good internet and the overall impression of the hotel was very good, a beautifully kept historic place in the heart of the old town, ideal for an evening stroll.
Cons: Finding a place to park the car can be somewhat of a mission in the late afternoon hours, be prepared to circle the neighbourhood a few times.
Pros: Good location. Good breakfast. Character rooms.
Cons: Lack of comfort as it was cold. Very noisy bar directly opposite.
Pros: Nice vintage look to the hotel, and the view from room.
Cons: Did not stayed long enough to observe what could have been improved.
Pros: Lovely location and breakfast. Friendly staff
Cons: It was carnival with loud music until 5am close by. The reception staff asked if we had received an email informing us of this. I can't find any email warning us of this ( which isn't to say that I definitely didn't receive it). Some people would view proximity to an all night party to be a positive thing and obviously it was enjoyed by many people. I'd just suggest that the hotel checks it's communication systems to ensure that people do know in advance. Perhaps providing earplugs as Inhave seen in other hotels which tend to be noisy?
Pros: Lovely old building and town (but note we ended up staying in the parent hotel to the one we booked). The staff helped store our bicycles securely.
Cons: The only disappointment was the breakfast - coffee was undrinkable - bread was bland etc / poor for such a lovely hotel.
With a stay at Hotel Rural Cortijo San Ignacio Golf in Telde, you'll be connected to a shopping center, within a 15-minute drive of San Telmo Park and Leon y Castillo House Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Telde? This hotel features 969 square feet (90 square meters) of event facilities. Pros: Beautiful old place, quirky and charming with a lot of history and a real feeling of peace and serenity..The staff were extremely kind and respectful. Lovely old fashioned pool lounge area..everything was really pretty.
Cons: There is no restaurant inside the hotel...I didn’t want to leave the property ( even though it’s a short walk) I wanted to stay in and go to bed early. A bar fridge would have been nice so that I could have a drink and a snack before settling in..
Pros: Great European breakfast. Osvaldo is a wonderful host.
Pros: Beautiful country house set in lovely grounds. Very pleasant and helpful staff. A quiet and peaceful base for a quality holiday. Car essential.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, easy parking, quiet location about 3min walk from golf clubhouse Stunning building, very friendly staff
Cons: Internet access not available in some rooms due to weak signal (thick walls!), however it is always available in the common areas in the courtyard and around the pool. If its necessary to use internet in the room you should confirm the room offered meets this need.
Pros: The staff was really nice and polite.
Cons: We didn't like the place, it looked old and haunted. In bathroom there was some weird brown spots and insects.
Cons: Rental car is a must if you want see places around.
Pros: Beautiful location, great pool, nice rooms. Wonderful service from Diego who speaks very good English and is extremely kind and helpful
Cons: It would be good to have more interesting fresh fruit for breakfast ! Not enough choice of beer and wine in the Honest Bar beside the pool.
Pros: Recently refitted to a good standard and very clean. Decent wi-fi signal in the room. Good cafe downstairs that serves pizzas etc. with friendly staff. Very quiet. Very good price. Free bottle of water on arrival (always welcome). Fridge in room. Air conditioning works well. TV works well. Friendly owner who speaks good English.
Cons: There is no reception. You have to arrange to meet the owner at an agreed time. This was okay for me, but could be difficult if you did not know when you were arriving. Perhaps they could use the staff of the (good) cafe to remedy this ?
Pros: A very helpful owner.
Cons: This property is more of a upgraded hostel rather than a hotel. But, the owner and cleaning staff are very helpful and friendly. If you need breakfast go to the owner's restaurant round the corner for a real Canarias experience
Pros: Everything was perfect
Pros: Everything was perfect
Cons: Except the noise on the street at night/late evening because of the bar downstairs. But I didn't care. For some travelers it might be not appropriate.
Pros: The owner was really helpful in regard to storing our bicycles
Cons: Pitter patter of traffic calming - not a big issue
Pros: Staff, location, comfy bedding, clean. Not too noisy
Cons: Broken fridge, No outside window. Smell of cigarettes coming into room.
