Pros: Beautiful gardens, stunning common spaces, great food. Staff friendly and informal.
Pros: Everything was just perfect: the calm and silence surrounded by nature, the architecture and furniture perfectly arranged to give a sense of peace, the delicious food, the amazing and super nice staff!! The property is just on a nice beach, with very few rooms and bungalows: everything is done to give you a super quiet relaxing and regenerating stay! It was like a second honey moon to us
Cons: Nothing. The only not so perfect thing is not depending on the resort: the beach and sea full of plastic (because people around the Long Beach leave rubbish around), unfortunately Vietnamese people around here didn’t care at all to the sea and beach pollution.
Pros: Silent, quiet, performance, all stuff was friendly, lovely room, location, meal stuff all awesome!!!! Perfect for my relax. One who stay alone, but no problems. And there is girl who can speak Japanese a little bit. If you hope relaxing vacation then should stay there more 2night at least.
Cons: Too expensive fee for pick up and drop off. I can't understand that. And I wanted to add-on free drink option when lunch and dinner. Plus I hope dessert like ice cream or pudding, sherbet... And More except for fruits. Probably coz of least Japanese person who stay, couldn't exchange from yen to dollars and pay fee by yen. My room can't get WiFi connect. Room book is written "breakfast come with room" but in fact, at dinning.
Pros: Amazing location - very nice rooms, fabulous beach and great food!
Cons: Beach subjected to washed up plastic from nearby resort, could clear from the waters edge for their guests to benefit
Pros: Beautifully designed rooms, garden and pool area. So many lovely trees and plants and finishing touches everywhere. Lovely food and generous breakfast. Staff were sweet and left you to your own devices. The beach is super clean too. This is a really special place to stay.
Pros: Design was beautiful. Food was a set menu for steep prices but overall very good at communal table. Beautiful beach with too much plastic. That makes me sad.... no effort by the resort to clean it up.
Cons: Spa was not worth the name spa. Prices very high and quality low. Overall to overpriced. Dnagerous driver to the airport.
Pros: This was our second time in this resort. We decided to return because it's a beautiful structure with a peaceful atmosphere. The food is nice, although it would be better to have some options in the set menu. The staff is friendly and efficient.
Cons: We still find annoying the 10% surcharge on extras when paying with cards (because of the VAT, as apparently and strangely VAT is not paid when the transaction is in cash). But this time, we also found a ridiculous amount of garbage both in the beach and in the water. The area aside the resort is shamefully full of plastic, which makes even a short walk on the beach unpleasant. Even the beach area pertaining to the resort, although a bit better, is not kept at an acceptable standard. The situation has considerably worsened over the last 2 years and we would not return, neither feel comfortable to recommend this place to friends (like we did in the past). What a pity!
Pros: This resort is by far my favorite around nhatrang i always return there and always have quiet and relaxing weekends.. staff is great food healthy simple and tasty every details bring nice feeling of peace and authenticity .. not another shiny fake marble place but lovely compositions of rough ancient material .. the garden is absolutely fantastic
Cons: The only thing to dislike is how this area getting popular over the time and how prices goes up as availability goes down .. success have some down side
Pros: Style Garden Beach Food The person who created this knows what he or she is doing
Cons: A bit far from a village The music during massage could have been better I would also offer a light less expensive lunch
Pros: One of the best beaches we have seen for a long time. White poudery sand.
Cons: Food is a bit pricey compared to other places but very delicious.

Guests at the accommodation can enjoy an American or an Asian breakfast. Light hotel offers a sun terrace. Nha Trang is 50 km from the hotel. Pros: - The location (5min walk to the beach) - The owner, really nice man - very nice view from the window - the brekfast is really simple: biscuit, banana and banh mi eggs with coffee - quiet place
Cons: - The bed is really hard and not comfy - there is no hot shower but it wasn't a problem
Pros: Mr Chung was hands down the most hospitable host we have encountered in Vietnam. He goes out of his way to make his guests stay as good as it can be, from organising great value for money boat trips to recommending tasty places to eat. Light hotel is ideally located next to a beautiful beach. Ideal for a couple of days of relaxation away from the busy busy beaches in Nha Trang. The staff ultimately defined a place. And here they are top of the pile. Thanks Mr Chung
Pros: The owner is very kind and always around. He is a wonderful host and is always making sure you have everything you need.
Pros: Chung is a fantastic hotelier. If all hotels had a guy like him, the world would be full of happy travelers and holidays. The beach The scenery Everything was wonderful
Cons: Maybe the shower could be adjusted to face down, rather than at the wall (not a complaint, just a very small suggestion) Please serve vietnamese coffee with breakfast :-)
Pros: Friendly owner who goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is a great one. Have him arrange a motorcycle so you can hit the road to explore jungle beach and beyond. Great aircon and clean rooms.
Pros: Our stay was excellent since the beginning. We arrive so exhausted from our motorbike ride and it was so hot. Chung welcomed us with a cold beer and water. Then he showed us around we had an amazing food in a local place and finally he showed us a lovely beach to have a swim in the sunset. We are so grateful he definitely made our day! The room has everything you need, Aircon, toilet and even a smart TV. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended
Pros: Amazing host Pasha this owner was unbelievably friendly he offers free breakfast he even offers cold beers to us he even lend us his Moto bike we were supposed to stay 3 nights and stayed 6 we just could not leave. The beach is amazing too and it’s only 7 minutes walk and there’s good massage place for 140000 vnd and a few restaurants option. Highly recommended!
Pros: The hotel owner is more than welcoming and so generous! He went with us for dinner and spend many nice hours sitting outside the hotel. His Russian is fluent and he is starting so learn English. With google translator we actually had a lot of fun and good and interesting conversations about Vietnam and more. He even offered us a ride on the scooter to the busstation and waited until we got picked up to make sure everything is going smoothly. We loved the light hotel!
With a stay at Whale Island Resort in Van Ninh, you'll be on the beach, and 19.3 mi (31 km) from Vung Ro Bay.Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: It was the fourth time I come to this resort and It is always a very pleasant experience compared to Nha Trang. The resort is very calm, the beach and the bungalows are beautiful and the food is amazing. The first snorkel experience for my kid (5 years) was magical.
Cons: As a biologist, my goal was to check the status of the corals close to the hotel. We are studying them for many years now. Unfortunately, as everywhere in the world, there is a clear degradation of this ecosystems and almost all were already bleached. The high temperature of the water may explain this but the development of many fish farms around the hotel area is clearly a major threat (eutrophisation, antibiotics released in the water...). It was very sad for me to see the reef like this. It is also very sad for the staff of the hotel who has always tried to preserve this ecosystem. Fortunately, life find always its way and despite all the dead corals, we could see a myriad of fishes, mollusks and other marine organisms hidden within the reef.
Cons: The rooms have no airco which I understand, but it was unbearably hot at night. Some of the staff was unfriendly and most of the times didn't even answer if you said anything. Breakfast was OK, but lunch and dinner were way overpriced (lunch is optional but they are the only restaurant on the island, and dinner was mandatory and you couldn't even choose your food). Airport transfer is 80 dollar, normally per person but we got it for 2. Overall not bad as a Homestay, but don't call it a resort when it isn't, because we paid for one. Do not recommend.
Pros: Amazing location, the water is so sparkling clear and it's so quiet. A great place to relax, you really feel away from civilization. The staff was very kind, thank you for everything
Cons: A little bit overpriced. What I really didn't like was the meals options. You can only have a set 4 course menu for 14.5$ pp for lunch and the same for dinner. I would have liked the option to have smaller meals.
Pros: Beautiful location, nice and secluded but not hard to reach. Pleasant beach and a very convenient reef worth snorkeling. Great food, and a nice, varied menu.
Cons: Some of the staff members were great, though others (some of those working the bar and restaurant) were weirdly sullen and exuded annoyance at even something like taking a drink order. Not enough to really affect my experience haha, just a bit odd
Pros: This is our 2nd time in the resort so I enjoy every second of it. The resort remain enviroment friendly, outdoor activity and would not suit for anyone looking for leisure air cond stay in and internet connect all the time/ everywhere. Staff was beyond friendly, the beach would take your breath away. It a very ideal spot to stay away from Nha Trang tourist crowd. Lunch and dinner at resort quite plain compare with our local Vietnamese taste but I think it lean toward for foreigner tourist. It's still very delicious after your swim.
Cons: Location is 2h drive from Nha Trang and it's not easy to access via public transport. Only option with worry-free is book through resort for their shuttle service with 20usd/pax/1way.
Pros: Great dive instructors
Pros: Clean, beautiful beach. The owner made conscious effort to be environment friendly (e.g. paper trash bag, bamboo straws, etc...). Beautiful view at the terrace by the bar. Decent trekking trails.
Cons: This place is very beautiful, and should have been easily 9.5+ rated universally. But it's only a mere 8.1 at the time of this review. Does the owner ever wonder why? Or does he not care? We don't get the sense that we are welcomed guests, but seems like it's his home (the resort is the only one on the island) so we have to accept his rules if we decide to come. - Ridiculously overpriced and bad meals. You are forced to eat the set menu (the rice not fully cooked sometimes, the fish not very fresh, the sauce is clearly from canned bottle, and the dishes do not compliment each other, seems like the chef just cooks whatever he feels like with whatever ingredients he has and throws them together). Breakfast only has a few very basic items, repeated every day. They use the excuse that it's an island, hard to get ingredients but that's non sense, considering that it's only 10 minutes to the shore where there's a market. And how hard is it to get fresh seafood in this region of Vietnam? 2 persons get charged about $30 for a meal that would cost $5-8 max on land, with better quality. The owner, do you look at the face of your guests when they disgustedly look at the dishes of your hotel? At least give people some options for something simple like fried noodle, sandwiches, salad, if you don't want to cook high quality dishes. - No toothbrushes, no toothpaste, no shampoo for no reasons. But there are some ear plug? - No sense of service. No one helped me to carry my luggages to my bungalow. Slow and uncaring reaction when guests got stung (a lot) by the sea urchins. - A lot of big mosquitos - If you pull the electric plug too hard, the whole thing got separated from the wall. Very dangerous. Some other minor stuffs that are outside the control of the hotel (already mentioned by other fellow travellers): - Long way to get there - A lot of trash in the other parts of the island - Be careful of sea urchin or jellyfishes on the beach
Pros: A great eco friendly and boutique resort on a secluded island away from the hustle and bustle of mainland Vietnam. The location is idyllic and the staff do a great job to keep the resort beach and snorkeling bay clean from ocean rubbish that seems to be part of being in Asian seaside areas.
Cons: The food and beverage staff were not very friendly. Not sure if it’s a language barrier or if they are just are disinterested in being there. Also the guy at the beach bar and activity hut would sleep in the massage room during the busy morning time and guests would be forced to walk to the other side of the resort to get drinks and were unable to get snorkeling gear so ended up helping themselves (meant to be at a cost so not sure how they keep a tab on this??) then when he was woken by a fellow staff member and he finally sat behind the activity desk he proceeded to sleep for another couple of hours rather than clear the glasses brought down from the bar by guests in the morning. Very lazy and not a good look for this resort. Finally the dive staff were meant to be in the bar to discuss diving options but were a little off-putting as they sat in the bar lounge area and chain smoked. Also not nice at a family resort.
Pros: Nice resort away from everything, bungalows and beach are well maintained, perfect for diving and scuba,
Cons: $ 15 per lunch or dinner $ 65 for transfer from na thrang
Pros: the view
Cons: no air conditioning

Pros: Very nice hotel Thank you very much for the nice stay we had.
Cons: The electricity shuts down when we leave the room, even for the fridge
Pros: Not much
Cons: They didn't have our booking, the owner had gone on holiday but fortunately a long term guest was able to assist in getting us a room. The hotel does not have views of the beach and you have to walk down the road to the beach entry. There is only marginal food available in local restaurants nearby.
Pros: Good location. Bathroom is clean
Pros: The owners are friendly people and the hotel is very close to the beach.
Cons: The hotel is located close to the beach. But other than a few restaurants, there was not much to do in the area. Breakfast is not included in the price and you cannot pay by card. The closest ATM is 2,5 km away, but the owner let us use her motorbike (which was nice of her!). We found some small ants in our bed but other than that, clean hotel.
Pros: Very clean, quiet, comfortable.
Cons: No credit card facilities - cash only.
Pros: What a wonderful staff, they were all so nice. They even invited me to eat lunch with them. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfy, i slept like a baby
When you stay at GM Doc Let Beach Resort & Spa in Ninh Hoa, you'll be steps from Doc Let Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: They have 2 swimming pools, the beach with chairs.... if you are looking for a location to stay for the pool and beach this is the spot. To visiting the city its a little far away
Cons: Staf that don't speak any word English. But they do sprak Russian. As forgeiner beside if you are Russian, you don't feel your self welcome. Even menu cards are translate in Russian! Matras with a bump in, not that comfortble. Fruit at breakfast was good but unfortunately not cooled so lot of flies on it
Cons: breakfast and staff poor
Pros: The room was spacious and location on the beach was great
Cons: Maybe it was because i was a solo backpacker that the staff seemed disinterested, did not apologise for their mistakes and overall didn't feel comfortable. As breakfast buffets go, it wasn't impressive and the buffet dinner was ok. It looks like they tey to maintain a clean beach but the surroundings are dirty and didn't really make.me feel like.i wanted to spend anymore time than one day there.
Pros: The staff was super friendly.
Cons: Mostly unhappy russian customers and outdated resort. The breakfast was a lot of low quality food.
Pros: The room was excellent. The facilities were great. The beach was great except for a jelly fish invasion. The breakfast buffett was amazing along with the dinner restaurant.
Pros: Good location, private beach. And hot shower!! Clean room.
Cons: Mostly stuff can't speak English, not friendly, and not kindly. They didn't explain at all even though dinner and breakfast!!!! Dinner and breakfast menu almost same. WiFi hardly conected at my room. Room phone was broken. Stuff came for repair but results didn't. Besides he went out from my room silent. It's joke, right?? Bar and pool side music was noisy at middle night. Never quite. Amenities was poor.
Pros: Location was nice. If you are not Russian, you may not enjoy this place.
Cons: The bar staff were absolutely rude and angry. They assumed we were Russian and were extremely rude.
Just 5 metres from Dai Lanh Beach, which features a popular swimming spot and fishing village, the beach front Dai Lanh Beach Hotel offers rooms with sea views. Besides free WiFi, guests can enjoy the convenience of a 24-hour restaurant. The hotel is 50 metres from the nearest public bus station and 200 metres from Dai Lanh Train Station. Van Phong Bay and Tuy Hoa Airport are both 20 km away. The hotel provides free private parking. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with cable TV and a desk. The private bathroom includes hot shower facilities and free toiletries. For an extra cost, guests can go fishing or rafting. The hotel has a tour desk and a 24-hour front desk. Vietnamese and Western cuisine are served at the hotel’s on-site restaurant.
Pros: This is kind of like the town beach also is a hotel. The little bungalows are cute but about 10,000 degrees. Overall the place was generally clean, but extremely basic. Like a summer camp kind of feel.
Cons: The bathrooms were a little dirty and the “cooler” in the bungalow simply circulated gross moist air. I should have stolen a regular fan from the restaurant for my bungalow. It would have been a lot better.
Pros: Beachside is beautiful.
Cons: Minibar not working. Personnel was rude as bar was closing at 8pm. Beach houses were poor and dirty and upgrade to room with own bathroom was expensive.
Pros: Lovely simple value for money room Good choice of food Nicebeach
Cons: Shared bathroom dirty
Pros: The twin room was clean and well equipped. The structure overall is nice.
Cons: The beach is very dirty. We walked towards the boats and it was full of trash. The sea is very polluted, there is a small river on the right that discharge water and pollutants in the sea, just 100 metres from the hotel. The people working there clean the beach that belongs to the property however that doesn't make the environment less polluted. We hired a motorbike for 250000 (gasoline not included) try to find a better place but we didn't succeed.
Pros: The Beach hüt is facing the beach. Clean and convenient. Parking is opposite the reception. The area is huge to walk around. Next to hotel is enough place to eat or buy necessities.
Cons: The Beach hüt is just to lay down, has no toilet, instead there is place of shower and toilet for common use outside. But that place is dark, dirty. Staff in the restaurant is quite exhausted at the dinner service, even at the included breakfast.
