Pros: everything was perfect, thanks
Cons: Cottage Piilopirtti - outdated overpriced country house in comparison with other finnish cottages in the same price range (просто старенький домик в деревне). A lot of mosquitos. Not suitable for fishing from the shore (too shallow). Children playground is 2 km away from the cottage
Pros: Location on lake side, price was pretty cheap
Cons: Anything special didnt disturb us
When you stay at Hotel PajarinHovi in Kitee, you'll be on the beach and 4 minutes by foot from Pyhäjärvi. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast is fresh and tasty and plenty of to eat!
Cons: The bed is much too small, I was afraid to fall down if I moved. Otherwise the room is very cosy and nice. A little bit of coldish, but I like it that way rather than too hot.
Pros: Everthing nice and clean, really warm considering the freezing weather.
Cons: No complaints
When you stay at Hotelli Kiteenhovi in Kitee, you'll be 9 minutes by car from Pyhäjärvi. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The only staff member at the reception didn't speak english. The wifi didn't work in the room because the wifi access point had very weak signal.
Pros: Functional room with a fridge. Very clean. Spacious bathroom. My Finnish is limited but that didn’t matter as the lovely young man who checked us in spoke English. Breakfast was great, with hot dishes, cereal, pastries, salad and fruit, coffee, tea, milk and juice. Close to everything. Beautiful town, quaint hotel.
Pros: Good location. Restaurant and bar in same building.
Cons: It is typical of that age “old school”. Summer is very bright in Finland so better shaders are needed.
