New hotel , very well appointed and first-class service from the staff
Lovely quiet setting
Nice spanish hotel in the contry side. nice view, good dinner. Very hard to fine
Fantastic customer service
Would have really enjoyed being well out in the countryside but unfortunately it rained heavily preventing us exploring the area on foot.
A difficult place to find in the middle of Spain but you would feel when you have arrived that you have found your oasis. We arrived late at night and was made most welcome and when see the hotel it is something out of ''Ponerosa'' it is in the middle of a large nature park and it is very peaceful. Food is great we would go back anytime we could as it is a gem
The hotel gave the impression of being old but well-maintained but was in fact only 7 years old. The services and comfort were those of a modern hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Potential customers should be aware that the hotel is out in the countryside and totally isolated. We very much enjoyed this element. No
The experience of staying in a castle and the great outlook. The showerhead design was disfunctional.
To be able to stay in such an historic building situated in such beautiful countryside was something we will always remember.
Great spot in the middle of nowhere. Nice little town. Great food and atmosphere in the dining room Promise from the outside was not confirmed on the inside. Rooms are too modern for the classis style of a castle/fortress in which the hotel is located. Town is too small and has little to offer.Low value for money
The view from the castle tower, the surroundings (I recommend the trip around the town, following the river), the dining-room, the breakfast. The price was a bit steep for a room on the first floor of the tower. But I suppose the total experience of Alarcon and the castle was worth it, all in all.
Very nice hotel with very good but expensive restaurant. Atmosphere of the castle created very nicely. Absolutely beautiful location in the medieval city. Breakfast a-la carte, too long too wait for it. Bar closes quiet early, not possible to get beer at 11 p.m.
The hotel was spotless and very comfortable. Owner was very helpful Nothing
It's a fabulous palace in the town and is close to everything. The hosts Paloma and Miguel are extremely nice and welcoming and make you feel special in a very special place. The rooms are big and have everything you need.
In a region with very few decent hotels, this stands out as a haven with lots of personality - a three star hotel with a family B&B feel. Above all, it has a pool, which is vital when it's 40ºC! For where it is and the quality of the rooms (average), it is a little over-priced. But the atmosphere and the pool make up for it.
Hospitality - they were at your disposal for questions at any time
A charming and graciously-scaled family home, a renovated 17th century house, where we felt like guests rather than clients. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the public rooms were cozy and attractive: the sitting room was furnished with excellent books, board games, and a fireplace. We were lucky to stay on a Saturday when the hotel offers a tasting menu of local wines and wonderful regional food to go with them. And we arrived early enough to explore the lovely and lively old village in which the hotel is set, with its beautiful Gothic church, charming folkloric museum, and hip modern art gallery. All this was immeasurably enhanced by the warmth and attention of the Casa's delightful owners. A wonderful experience.
A really wonderful hotel run by a most passionate Spanish couple. The hotel is pristine. We felt like we were staying in a 300 year old Spanish mansion, full of antiques. The bed as one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in! Hotel is 3 mins walk to main square.
Breathtaking view You can eat only at exact time in all entire city
The hotel is in perfect position and is very cheap for a four stars hotel Rooms were not properly cleaned. Walls between rooms too thin: one could here everything. Breakfeast very poor: we would have willingly paid 10 euros more to have a decent one
A new hotel in a fantastic location. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice spa. A very relaxing stay. Lacks attention to detail. No information in rooms (hotel services, local area, restaurant menu, time tables, mini bar prices etc), pool area not cleaned from previous day, pool furniture moldy, no drinking water in sauna area, was locked out on bar terrace (no door handle on outside), 1 of 2 hydro massage machines not working
Swimming pool and chairs excellent.location. "Quaintness"of town Air-con was totally inadequate. Sought help from reception but it didn't manage to bring heat in room down.
Beautiful location, helpful staff especially Javier on reception, great room, food and fantastic outside pool.
The Hotel just had a lovely atmosphere, staff were most helpful . The location is beautiful and very tranquil Breaklfast a little pricey at 15 euros.Only one young woman serving breakfast made the service a little slow but she was very cheerful and worked hard
Hotel con instalaciones muy buenas y preciosasvistas.Muy tranquilo para una visita de relax o romanica Quiza el precio un poco elevado.
We stayed only one night and were very impressed with the hotel, excellent value.
The room was clean This is nothing like a Spa. There are kids running around screaming, swimming pool is small, sauna is extremely small. Do not plan on staying at this hotel if you want a weekend away from stress! I stayed in room number 310 and my colleague in 309 - all night long there was running water and the walls are paper thin! Very noisy hotel. The internet connection is extremely slow.
The picturesque location. The spa facilities. We felt the restaurant decor and ambience could be improved on.
