Pros: Super hospitality from owner Dario. The room itself is very stylish made of wood and with beautiful view to mountains. A little bit far from civilization but you get into authentic Italian surroundings. Nature around is wonderful. Mountains and Italian villages.
Cons: Everything is perfect
Pros: Our host was superfriendly and helpful. Beautiful remote location, rural Italian atmosphere. Excellent breakfast on the terrace with great view. Dinner is also available, worth to try, we felt ourselves as VIP in a top restaurant. Thank you for it. Last but not least, good value for money.
Cons: A bit far from the seaside, but it was not a surprise.
Pros: Everything. Adorable village. Beautiful countryside. Spotless room that had everything we needed. Good breakfast. Friendly welcome.
Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like. Maybe that it was a bit hard to find, but that was really the fault of my GPS.
Pros: WOW, I had the most amazing time staying at this unique hotel. Dario was a superb host and went out of his way to do anything to assist me in my mission to research my family history in the area. He arranged for his lovely friend Massimo to collect me from the railway station and they took me across the mountains the next day to the tiny villages and cemetery of my ancestors. It was more than I could have imagined achieving on my own, and I didn't even have a car! I met the lovely friendly locals and Dario even arranged to take me to see an elderly brother and sister who had lived in my ancestors village, what an exciting few days I had! The hotel is renovated in a beautiful rural style and is lovely and roomy with attractive rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast and meals on the terrace in the beautiful mountains was a treat each day, and Dario is a wonderful chef, although I didn't manage to try out much of his beautifully presented food, due to my limited time there and busy schedule. The bedroom had air conditioning which I kept forgetting to ask how to use, so had the fun of a baby bat sharing with me one night as I'd left the window wide open! There was also a coffee machine which I didn't need to use as Dario made me lovely big mugs of tea, just how I like it. There is a lovely Italian restaurant in the next village which we went to and they do authentic pizza and pasta ... and the Tiramasu was heavenly! The little church bells chime across the valleys every half hour and in the evening the night sky is a myriad of sparkling stars and the gentle sound of the forest is soul restoring. I hope I will go back to this fabulous hotel next year and meet again with these beautiful friends, I can never thank them enough for the wonderful experience of staying in Ossegna with them, Ciao :)
Cons: I loved it, and so will you if you enjoy beautiful remote places with fun, friendly locals, and don't mind a few little forest insects and creatures, I did get a few mosquito bites, as I expected I would, but a small price to pay for the amazing time I had!
Pros: Everything! Dário was great! Food is delicious!
Cons: The big TV set always on at the small meals room.
Pros: Perfect for a real italian dolce vita. Perfect for trekking Perfect for the food especially the rita Restaurant close guesthouse, with incredible typical Italian food
Pros: Very nice place, very quiet, beautiful nature were you can rest and sleep very well. In the apartment we had everything we need and more... We all enjoyed it very much, our daughter and our dog also. The owner is very very kind and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. In one word, we recommend it!!!

Pros: The owner was very helpful, the dinner was fantastic.
Cons: The location of the property. The road to the house was very narrow and rough.
Pros: Very remote, far away from crowd and noise. Beautiful views to mountains. Super friendly owners, great food and hospitality.
Cons: Bring your own soap. If you are traveling by motorcycle consider gravel road to property.
Pros: Lovely hosts, great food, sure you are tucked away in a beautiful country side, not a chicky micky place, but clean and welcoming.
Cons: Nothing, great place, but note if you are on a motorbike, that the last km is unsealed road.
Pros: Great stay! My husband and I loved the Agriturismo and the owners were fantastic. It is alittle hard to get to- it’s up in the mountain and the roads are very small. We made it and there was alittle snow so in the summer it should be alittle more easy. But once you are up there the views are beautiful. It is very quiet and quaint. The best part is the food. The owner cooks all the meals and they were fantastic! I would definitely go back.

Pros: Very special. If someone likes places off the beaten track in the mountains, combining relax close to the nature with activity for adults and children - it is good choice. The sea is not far away. Breakfasts and generally food - great. We were pleased with architecture of buildings and huge work to renovate it. Fantastic Adventure park.
Pros: Beautiful view - nice rooms - food
Cons: Hard to arrive at destination, road is partly unpaved and very small - location not suited for disabled people
Pros: The location is one of a kind. In the middle of nowhere with amazing view. Quiet farm with really good food and friendly staff. Perfect for an escape from the city. Excellent if you like long walks in nature.
Pros: Beautifull location! Beautifull views, quiet, homely. And we enjoyed the homecoocked meal, sitting at one big table with the other guests.
Pros: Food in the evening was great, organic food from the farm. View from room across valley was stunning (and from the shower!) Great view of the stars at night So quiet in the evening.
Pros: Lovely and peaceful place. the hosts are very nice and the food is very good !
Pros: The Best view I have ever had, great accomodation, nice stuff, amazing adventure park and just beautiful. I Did love this stay

The property, which is located 600 metres above the sea, provides assistance with outdoor activities like cycling and hiking. It also includes a children’s playground. Pros: The only problem, if it is a problem, is the distance from the known tourist places of the region to Tavarone. But if you go I am sure you will not regret.
Cons: The cooking was great. A high level family business respecting business ethics and the client who came to ... nowhere to spend some of his time. I advise all of you to pay a visit a la veranda and I assure you that you will feel great. We liked these people there?

Pros: The room was fab, the shower room was great n breakfast was lovely. Everyone who looked after us was friendly and more than helpful.
Pros: Very friendly stuff, incredibly good Restaurant that was recommended by Massimo Bottura's Slow Food list. AC in the room, helpful folk, kind people - everything was lovely.
Pros: Simple family run hotel up in the hills in a delightful little medieval town. Very friendly staff, rooms simple but clean and simple but clean bathrooms. Food in the restaurant cooked by the owner using local produce. Good local wine offered. Dog friendly and very peaceful

Pros: It‘s a very nice place in an breathtaking landscape!
Pros: The owner was present
Cons: I reserved a room for three and did get a room for two , this was not a problem as we are a couple but i also paid more because I wanted a proper bathroom . The owner showed us a normal private bathroom but few minutes later he asked us to move to another bathroom not in front of our bedroom , which has been already used and not cleaned , that means we had to share our bathroom . I tried to take a bath and and after 5 minutes , it was still not covering my feet and cold water was the only water i got , i quit ! when we arrive , the owner asked us if we want to have a diner , which i declined but he insisted so much asking : not even a tomato a cheese , it seems more a welcome invitation than a service . My husband finally said yes and we went to get tomatoes and cheese , The day after we have been charged for a light dinner . I just felt rob and left even without taking a breakfast . When you arrive on site , your phone stop the connection , nothing has been said in the add about it . I asked if i can work with the internet and the connection was not existing in the bedroom but only in the corridor and totally unstable . it was impossible to download even a small file . You do not expect to camp when you chose a bed and breakfast .
Pros: Great Staff service !!
Pros: Interesting location. Dog friendly Owner very nice Lovely restaurant/breakfast room
Cons: Outside very attractive Inside a bit tired looking especially the shared bathroom
Pros: The room was warm and cousy, the whole village where the house is located is a step back into medieval ages. Lorenzo, the host, is developping an interesting project and even if the house is very distant from any other atraction it is an island of peace and allows even the most frenetic persone to chill. There is a whole bunch of lively cats who are basically the only inhabitants of the area, and the place is very sae and calm. Breakfast is proposed with local and healthy products. In the kitchen it is possible to use an amazing barbecue made out of a local stone, the host guided us and ensured that we enjoyed and amazing meal, even if distant by most sights it does ave the possibility to find supermarkets in the nearby.
Cons: A few more hooks might be handy. Without a gps it is very complicated to get to this B&B.
Pros: Lorenzo is a very nice person, we had a very warm welcome with a glass of wine :-). The landscape around and the village are wonderful and quite close to the seaside. The road to get there is curvy but easy. There is also a fantastic restaurant at 1 minute by foot close to Baldo and Chicca with delicious home made food. At Lorenzo B&B, we could escape the crowd of tourists in Cinque Terre in the high season. Also, the breakfast was really generous with a lot of food we could eat, any time in the day
Cons: The room we got was pretty nice upstairs, but quite rustic downstairs, it could be fixed a little bit, with warm lamps and nicer furnitures and a little bit of refurbishment. Question of taste. But also part of the adventure.
Pros: It is quite ,fresh and clean
Pros: the quietly environment of the mountains and the - mostly deserted - mediaeval village. the kitchen, with all the food and drinks you need to make breakfast yourself. A nice contrast with the area of the coastline.
Cons: Just some minor things, like a connection to the wall for the shower, or a proper couch to sit on, and maybe the beds...well, the where so, so. But no things you can't adjust yourself to for a couple of days.
Pros: That was fantastic! Host was very nice and helpful. We could choose our room. Quietness, nature, medieval village. Such a unique place. We feeled like in museum! We hope to get back there someday. This is place for people who want to explore nature and be alone for sometime.
Cons: Cold floors.
Pros: Great people and hospitality, upon arrival we were welcomed by a bottle of wine and some homemade bread. Really sweet. Open up to something different and you'll enjoy this place :)
Cons: Nothing to complain!
Pros: The location is superb for long talks, sitting on the table with wine and food. Magical little village lost in the mountains with only 10 people living there, far enough from anything.
Cons: It’s more of a suggestion: change the nets in the windows!
Pros: Nothing, this place was awful. We live rurally, we understand water conservation and self sufficiency, there are no excuses for what we encountered, it was just dirty.
Cons: Everything. It was cold, our room was not ready and it was filthy. Breakfast was awful, stale bread and lemon cake. I barely ate anything, fortunately, as my husband who consumed a little more (because he was hungry), ended up with food poisoning, we put down to this place because it was the only place one of us ate. The shared kitchen was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and they were still there when we left.
Pros: Built in Medieval times, remote and reclusive.
Pros: The owners were very nice and it was like staying in a family house! We arrived late at night and there were no paces to eat at that time, and Lorenzo offered and make us a delicious pasta! Thanks Lorenzo! :-) In the breakfast we could use their kitchen as if we were at our home, and eat what we want from there. Really nice and familiar ambiance in a beautiful small medieval village in the mountains.
Cons: The breakfast could be fresher, for example with fresh bread and fresh natural juices. We have many supermarket cakes, some fruit, pack juices, tea, sweet, cafe and milk, but something fresh and not sweet to eat, like fresh bread and cheese would be good too.
Surrounded by the Ligurian countryside, Affittacamere Le Meridiane is set in an antique villa with a large garden and terrace. It offers free bike rental for visiting the natural surroundings. Rooms are decorated with antique furniture and artwork. Facilities include air conditioning, an LCD TV and a private bathroom with shower. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in public areas. At breakfast, you can enjoy Italian coffee, a variety of jams and pastries, along with freshly baked croissants. It is prepared using organic products. Le Meridiane guest house is in the small town of Maissana, a 30-minute drive from Sestri Levante and the Ligurian coast.
Pros: The accommodation is only accessible by car. You need to take a narrow serpentine road with a lot of steep parts. Its very quiet and peaceful and the views from the windows and the terrace are nice. The facility has three rooms which share a kitchen, so you can make yourself a hot coffee or tea or cook if you want.
Cons: The room we had didnt have a private bathroom - it was across the corridor, not exactly adjacent to our room and I think we would need to share it with other quests (there weren't any at the time). The room was cold during the day and there wasn't a possiblity to turn on the heating. The bed was uncomfortable and very squeaky - every time one person turned in the bed, the other would wake up from the noise. The host doesnt speak English, but seemed friendly.
Pros: Although we had problems to communicate (we do not speak Italian) Olga is a very friendly and courteous host! / well equipped kitchen / restaurant (Rita's) is nearby and can absolutely be recommended / beautiful und calm landscape
Cons: The accommodation is wonderfully located in the nature/hills, but nevertheless the way "up" and "down" is not that comfortable. We planned daily trips outside of Maissana thus the accommodation is not perfectly located resulting in arduous routes and long distances.
Pros: The villa is located up, in a very quiet area which we loved. The room was furnished with antiche furniture and was very spacious.
Cons: The accommodation is located very nice - up on a hill, but if you want to visit the region is not that comfortable. We planned to visit Cinque Terre and Portovenere and it was a little bit too far.
Pros: The villa is located in a very quiet area which we loved. We could sunbath on the terrace, go running through the woods and felt very off the beaten trek. The room was furnished with antiche furniture and was very spacious.
Cons: However, the description of the place on booking said there would be breakfast which we looked forward too, while the booking confirmation said no meals included. So we were a bit confused.
Pros: The room was very nice and the view just beautiful.
