Pros: The property is beautiful and well kept. When we arrived we were received in by the two owners Rik and Marieke. Our luggage was taken to our rooms promptly and after we freshened up we were taken on a tour of the property. The grounds are beautiful. My girl friend and I particularly enjoyed one of the structures that resembles a green house, but is equipped with comfortable furniture and fire place. The meals were wonderful and well worth the expense.
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: Cooking of the highest standard
Pros: A true respite. Grounds (especially the gardens! ) are beautiful - the owners have gone to great lengths to create a luxurious escape. Breakfast spread was impressive and delicious - our travel plans did not allow for lunch or dinner but based on the breakfast, we'd take this option on a future stay. Hosts were welcoming and professional, despite the fact we were not the most stellar of guests (forgetting the door code, changing our minds about breakfast, etc) - they were nothing but kind and warm the entire time. Pool is pristine. Beds & linens are comfortable - we slept so deeply! Many options for seating around the property for you to enjoy some peace and quiet (or an honor bar drink or two). The room is equipped with suggested itineraries and restaurants - everything you could possibly need for your stay. We hope to return in the future for a longer stay.
Pros: Excellent breakfast served in the dining room
Pros: The Hoteliers were extremely professional and friendly. The facilities and the general appearance are second to none. The garden is a little paradise.
