the reception staff were very kind.
The breakfast buffet was excellent but the coffee was too cold
The staff was very professional, and I loved the swimming pool!
complimentary WIFI Internet access
Free Wifi and very quiet area
location the price reduction made the hotel ok. I would never pay 110 euro for a room like this.
Location for transit travel, free parking, free wi-fi access in the room. No
Easy to find hotel based on proximity to the Hopital Sud. Good location for breaking a journey as it is right by the Rocade Sur and motorway connections. It felt as though we were the only guests (Easter Monday). The bar was not open and neither was the restaurant in the evening. Needed to drive a few miles for a meal and car park was locked when we returned (electronic gates opened once we identified out name and room number on the intercom).
Air cinditioning in room as it was very hot when we stayed there. On arrival there was an extra bed in our room which made the room very small. The receptionist said this was normal as it was a family room even though one had not been requested. Also it was not made very clear that the restaurant was closed at weekends although as there was a coach party in we were able to eat there, meal was very mediocre. Quite a distance to eat otherwise.
Friendly and Clean The food, I didn't like the menu was put off with the 1st thing being Lambs Brains!
All hotel staff very friendly and helpful and most spoke excellent English.Good walks in woods above hotel. The room wasn't particularly clean. Blood on the wall just above sanitary bin. Also my wife thought she had been bitten by bed bugs.Food very elaborate and expensive. For lunch we had one course each and one bottle of wine, no coffee for 111 euros. The sea bass was not fresh and the fillet steak ordered presque bleu arrived very overcooked and tough. The hotel was rather depressing in appearance and shabby.
The chateau is set in beautiful surrounding grounds & gardens that you can walk around & relax in. The staff are friendly & relaxed & the rooms are quite large. As we had a car, the fact that the main town of Grenoble was some distance did not matter, however this could be an issue if you did not have a car. There are some lovely drives up into the mountains. The restaurant was quite expensive, but the meal was top notch, & beautifully presented.
Very helpful staff, excellent dining
Location of bedroom....also there seemed to be a musty smell in the room
Beautiful grounds with great privacy and good location near Grenoble (5 mins by car to centre). Fabulous grounds and pool and food quality was absolutely top class. We ate in hotel one night and it was a wonderful meal. Expensive to eat but well worth a visit for the cuisine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No proper air-conditioning in bedroom and it was a bit uncomfortable in the heat but it is an old building with lots of charm and character.
The location and the room style. The self-service breakfast (witch automatic machines for the coffee). Some years ago there was a very accurate service, at the same level of the castle charm.
When I have arrived at the Hotel, they didn't had my booking. When I was asking what is the problem, they didn't gave me a reply. Just said "one moment". I was in room 46. One Table lamp was mechanically broken. One bulb of the bed was not working. I screwed it out and placed it for the room cleaner. next day, bulb was gone, but no new bulb installed. Place not very quite.
Easy to find, clean and warm I ordered a room with 1 large bed and I received a room with 2 small beds. The food in the restaurant was not good!
Beds and shower okay, close to higway, quiet at night Too hot in the rooms (even after closing down theheater and opening the windows) and the food was too fat/simple, worse than Mc.Donalds...
nice staff and nice view. the water of that area is pretty fresh.
Kindness of the staff. Location. Corridors need renovation. Restaurant definitely over priced.
Personally I find a rate of Euro 20 for a breakfast in a countryside hotel expensive.
We found one of the best 3 star hotels we have ever stayed at. The room was big and looked as if it had been recently renovated. A very high class establishment.
location,scenery, food and comfort
Being reminded that you get what you pay for The general grubiness
Tea and coffee in rooms. Friendly receptionist. Restaurant staff had very limited knowledge of english language (which matched our very limited knowledge of french language!) No proper shower
Good balance of services, location cost. I always like the ablity to make coffee or tea when I want it.
free availability of WLAN and the cleanliness of the room the extreme noisiness due more to poor quality of sound proofing than to proximity of the motorway
When the manager organised a ground floor room for us at the last moment.
It is a basic hotel, if you only need a place to sleep, it is a good choice. It is very basic (see first remark).
We were satisfied, everything was O.K. A bit noise from the autoroute
Location is near for university Breackfast is bad too mach
The Hotel location Room was smaller than the smallest cruise ship cabin. No night staff and when we were locked out of our room at night the machine to dispense a new key would not work no working phone number nor could manager get it to work! no apology no refund.
value for money the motorway noise
Its location The free internet connection was too slow
Simple with car park, clean and tidy, good breakfast, friendly staff, more than adequate. Upon returning to my room p.m. 22-04-10 the door was open, but fortunately nothing missing, presumably left insecure by the chamber maid. Unfortunately the next morning my car had been broken into and items stolen although I assume the two incidents were unrelated. I reported the break-in but the staff did not offer to call the police. I also reported the open door when I checked out.
