7.1 Good
Pros: The environment was always neat
Cons: The location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had everything I was looking for: very clean, good bed. Perfect for someone for just needs a place to sleep. Upon arrival I found the restaurant to be quite full so decided to have lunch. Basic and simple dishes and great value for money. Friendly waitresses
Cons: Nothing I can think of really
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming staff Comfortable bed Clean
Cons: No automated check-in when we arrived late.
6.7 Good
Pros: Small hotel - nothing special; nothing bad either...just expect a bed/ a bathroom/WiFi and a TV...that what just what we needed for our busy weekend...
Cons: Cleanliness was Ok, but the decoration could do with some update ( i.e...plastic flowers in the entrance hall and in the stair case, bathroom door looking in need of some TLC...)

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very kind and professional host. clean and comfortable. Ideal for families.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, facilities, comfortable bed, wonderful breakfast.
Cons: Nothing, it's all good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rate and location were ideal for my work visit to Melun. Breakfast area was very cozy enclosed patio. Available were yogurt, french cheeses and bread, coffee, orange juice, croissants, and more. Rooms were upstairs in a private home with doors that can be locked from inside. Overall felt like a cozy bed and breakfast. The host, Nichol, was very helpful, kind, and accommodating. Facilities were clean, comfortable and convenient. When I stayed there, the other rooms were empty, otherwise we might have had to share the toilet and shower rooms. Parking was uncovered on the driveway in front of the house. Host provided a remote gate opener to enter and exit the drive. Driving to Paris city center outside of the peak times took about 45 minutes. Travel in and out of the village of Vaux-le-Pénil was easy. There was also a sweet 15 yr old inside/outside cat named Mystique there to greet me by the front door each day.
Cons: I was only there for a few days in winter for work, and left before the Sun came up each day. I can imagine that visiting in the Spring or Summer is even more enjoyable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything.. The lady was so kind and helpful..
Cons: WiFi is not good strength.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were greeted by the hosts and shown to our rooms upstairs. There is a nice sitting area next to our rooms. The house sits in a quiet residential area. Comfortable beds and a lovely breakfast in the morning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely private room and awesome hosts. Breakfast was great. More than happy with my brief stay
Cons: If you have heavy bags there are numerous stairs.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Breakfast modest but acceptable, acceptable price as for Paris during exhibition, far but still within public transport network
Cons: Difficult to communicate in other language than French, room described as non-smoker had a very strong smell of cigarettes, no-bar or minibar so if you arrive late...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a 2* Balladins and far superior to earlier hotels from this chain. There was a separate bathroom and the room had better quality of lighting (there was a table lamp). Convenient for the RER to Paris. Plenty of parking
5.7 Okay
Pros: The staff are very helpful and courteous. Located close to main roads and access local towns.
5.6 Okay
Pros: Clean and comfortable for this price near Paris. Near to train station.
Cons: Difficult to find by car . No air conditioning working in a warm day.
5.3 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was close to where I wanted to be .
Cons: The breakfast could have been a bit more adventurous. But overall, not bad for a budget hotel.
4.4 Okay
Pros: The price
Cons: Needs new blankets or cover for duvee and finish around tv
7.2 Good
Pros: it was excellant value for monet, room were comact but adequate we stayed with two children. TV hair dryer and tea facilities, basic clean and cheap
Cons:
5.6 Okay
Pros: Most of the staff were very nice and eager to help.
Cons: I simply can't understand why you on the internet describes this hotel, as a hotel were they speak english, because they don'T. We experienced one member of the staff, that could speak english. And this is a very big problem, especially because we choose this hotel, because we expected that the staff could speak english, but no.
7.6 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean.
Cons: Air conditioning wasn't very efficient, didn't seem to work in my brother's room (Room 122)

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Dirty toilet and noisy at night..very cramped and single bed hangs over double bed. Smoke alarms Covered up.. Place was a disgrace
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Leaving the place in the morning.
Cons: Everything, the place is a dog kennel with unbelievably rude and aggressive staff. On arrival the automated book in didn't work. Tried the advertised phone number got no reply. Eventually the rudest front of house, snappy little women answered the door and booked us in (jeez she needs to find another career path). There was no hot water so cold showers it was (she did give us discount because of this). Vending machines needed access via reception but at approximately 22:00 there was no one in reception so couldn't get refreshments. The room was tiny with disgusting stains on the bed (not the linen) and stunk of cigarettes (no smoking rooms?). Quite possibly, the worst hotel and location I have ever stayed in and anyone who rates this as suitable, clearly has only ever stayed elsewhere at Her Majesties Pleasure. The restaurant at the end of the street though was first class which was a little bonus.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Not much
Cons: That there is no Reception. It’s automated self check-in. I booked 2 rooms for the 5 of us but when I checked in it only gave me key for one of the rooms and didn’t recognise my whole booking. So the 5 of us stayed in one box room that had 3 single beds. Couldn’t get through to anyone on the numbers provided either. Breakfast didn’t open until 2 hours later than it was supposed to. I’m still waiting to hear back from somebody.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Cheap. Staff was very polite, helpful and friendly.
Cons: Supposedly a non-smoking room, and yet it smelled of cold tobacco Shower was so narrow, that I could not turn around without either sticking the shower curtain to my entire body, or knocking the inner wall. No privacy curtains, no mosquito nets. Room have just enough space to walk around the bed Rooms are so small that families/groups tend to gather just outside the bulding (staircase or ground floor tables), which can get rather noisy (and smokey if people smoke) for the other customers.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: In addition to the dirty bath corner , the room became “nicely” smelly after switching on the heating (which was in fact the only amenity we were glad of - it was December outside).
Cons: Very basic hotel which I do not recommend for families despite that they have triple rooms. We were 3 and slept in one room, however, the dimensions of the rooms were one and the same. Only the number of the beds inside is different. The 3rd bad is merely about 40 cm below the ceiling, so "take care". Does not worth the price of almost 60 eur per day.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I cancelled all bookings with premier hotels. Found extensive Black mold in hotel which would be a death sentance for me.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The owner possible manager very rude on checking in we had stayed there previously staff member then was very helpful and friendly. The manager this time extremely rude say your the British couple who can't speak much French. Another staff member was extremely rude too not just us but other guest's. In the morning on check out this same staff member couldn't be bother that there was hardly anything left for breakfast and when asked she said no she just didn't want to move from the front desk. Lazy and rude.
Cons: Just read above. Plus the toilet needed a really good clean.

Pros: Large room that was nicely decorated and well appointed. Two sinks in the bathroom and another in the WC.

Pros: The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was fascinating. Rooms were clean
Cons: Breakfast was the worst I can expect from a 4-star facility. We went for breakfast at 08 and it was over, no eggs no bacon, no fruits. Only a stack of plates with no one to clean them. When I requested the waitress that why is breakfast missing at 08 when it should be available till 09:30, instead of arranging something for us, she told me it usually finishes early and ignored us. In the ended up having bread, butter, and coffee
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was very nicely located, not far from the N7 and just off the motorway after Valence. The couple who run the place were very nice, and the rooms were beautiful and nice. For those who want to travel in this region it has nicely located and yet secluded and away from the noise and hustle. It's located close to a natural reserve a long parts of the river Drome. The place is also nice for families with children, with a large garden area around the house.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine
Cons: Everything was fine.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: staff always want to charge you more money
1.0 Poor
Cons: The Hotel charged a 200€ deposit for the room on top of the already paid price for our stay. The deposit was not announced upon booking. The room had an old, tainted and worn linoleum floor. The kitchenette had barely any cutlery, the water cooker was defective, the sole cooking pan was ancient and very dirty. Against the description of the room, there was no iron, the hairdryer was given to us on the morning of departure, and on top of that it was expected of us to manually clean the kitchenette completely and empty the trash can ourselves lest we not get back our 200€ deposit - a joke considering the state of the kitchen supplies and that there were no cleaning supplies given by default. The WiFi was extremely outdated in security as well as so prone to crashing that it was barely usable and the room's TV was tiny and ancient. In addition to that, the main gate to the hotel compound was always closed after 8PM and could not be opened manually, neither by keycard nor by code. Instead we had to call the reception every night, and my german phone number would at times not even get through to the reception in the first place.

Pros: We loved the look and feel of the building and enjoyed reading the story of the renovation!! It’s beautifully presented and retains lots of original features xx It was excellent! Really quiet and breakfast was lovely!
Cons: We would have liked a smoother more obvious check in. We rung a bell at the front door and someone shouted down the stairs? We were unsure if they were the owners or just another guest? Once they knew we had a booking it was all good!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tranquillity of the surroundings, friendliness by everybody and their willingness to help . Shown garden where I could sit with dog enclosed so I could let him wander. Lovely sitting area where breakfast served with lovely view

Pros: We needed an over night stay after travelling from the South of France to Calais and this place was perfect for us. We had a quadruple room which had one master bedroom and then a further double room with two single beds and a then a shower room. It was lovely and clean, our beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Our breakfast the next morning was perfect. Delicious fresh eggs, croissants, home made jams and honey and lovely tea and coffee. If we could have stayed longer we would but we had a ferry to catch. I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone who needs a good and comfortable nights sleep.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The innkeeper was lovely, however, that is the only positive aspect.
Cons: With respect to the price, the facility was lacking. The toilet did not work in our bedroom (we had booked an ensuite bathroom) and we had to walk to another floor to use the toilet. The room door did not lock. The room was very outdated, sheets were old and well-used. We also had to pay with cash upon arrival. Luckily we had it.

Pros: Everting was excelent.

Pros: Everything was as expected - across the street from the gare and centrally-located. Annie was very helpful and a gracious hostess. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great! It was a nice and restful stay!

Pros: We had to make a quick trip into Paris for a onsular matter, and rather than drive into the heart of Paris, we chose to stay in Bois-le-Roi and take the train back and forth...and the gare is across the street...Perfect!

Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve stayed at many B&Bs and small inns over the years, and La Closerie des Trois Marottes is one of the best we’ve ever encountered. The rooms were spacious and charming, beautifully decorated, quiet and comfortable. The lovely courtyard is an oasis. We received a warm welcome, and enjoyed a custom-cooked breakfast. We cannot recommend it more highly.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Was on street parking which was difficult if you arrived later, particularly saturday night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mme. Boultam welcomed us and was very keen to make our stay a pleasure. Our room was actually a 3 room suite with kitchenette, lounge, bedroom, with shower room separate from powder room. The hotel is an easy walk to excellent resturaunts and the old town center, and an easy 6 Euro Uber ride from Gare de Melun, which is on the D line RER service direct to Gare du Nord, Paris. Taxi or uber to Vaux le Vicomte 15-25 Euro. The rooms were charming and came with an excellent breakfast. The most charming was our bedroom view into a beautifully landscaped courtyard. Excellent value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The concierge
Cons: Too small bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For our last night in France, this was perfect! The location is deceiving - but once you are through the front door, it looks like a different world. Jamilla was the perfect hostess, breakfast was delicious and it was quiet at night. Dinner at Chez Fabrice, Jamilla's recommendation, was wonderful. Don't miss this place if you want to stay outside of Paris!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, great place to stay while in Paris or surrounding. The property is lavishly, well renovated and maintained. The owner took great care of us. All was provided and the breakfast good. Only parking in the street was a bit difficult to find with no parking at the property (minor detail). Close to the city of Paris - I rather stay here and enjoy the stay than in the city of Paris with overpriced hotels. Can only recommend this B&B
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host, location & security. Loved the garden and breakfast.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Valerie is a great host. The queen suite we stayed in was immaculately maintained with great attention to detail. We were given access to the beautiful backyard and the pool. She also served us a fantastic breakfast. We only stayed one night but would love to go back for a longer stay next time

Pros: The owner who lives upstairs was very kind, nice, polite and supportive. We had a delicious breakfast in her nice living room in a private environment too! The house was very clean and well equipped. The Barbizon village was only 5 min drive from the house. I very much enjoyed our stay there with my parents. The house has a pool and large grdarden which has a badminton court, so this can be a good option for a family with children as well.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Without GPS would have been difficult to find.

Pros: Loved everything, was sparkling clean, host was very friendly and helpful, comfy bed, great shower, had a beautiful breakfast on the deck in the morning and super easy check in/check out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a self contained room part of a bigger house. Beautifully furnished, clean bright and very modern. The bathroom was up to date, spotless and everything worked well. Toiletries and towels supplied were generous and good quality. The keys were in a key safe on arrival, no problem and we parked on the street outside. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Hot coffee, bread and croissants, fruit yoghurt, charcuterie and cheese, oh and orange juice beautifully presented on a trolley brought to the room. Could not fault this property, the owner was very pleasant and helpful and spoke a fair amount of English.
Cons: Nothing, it was in the town, easy walking distance and even had a fridge with beer and wine. TV had no English language option but that really wasn’t a problem for us.

Pros: This is a bed and breakfast in a small town about 10 minutes from Fontainebleau. Our room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable and on the ground floor. Our hosts were very gracious! Breakfast was brought to us and we had the option of eating in the lively garden or in our room. The street was very quiet.
Cons: Nothing... we were very pleased with our stay.
