Pros: We love Marie the owner. She made us feel comfortable the first minutes we arrived. She made delicious breakfast every morning and was extremely helpful in advising where to go in the area. The property is charming and our room and bath very clean. Next time we plan a trip to St. Remy we will look forward to staying at this property and seeing Marie again.

Pros: Lovely welcoming host, very hospitable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the stay at Marie's place a lot. Marie and her sister in law, Annie, are very welcoming. Once we arrived, Marie greeted us with orange juice and showed us around. Her house has a nice front yard with reasonable parking space. And a backyard with a lovely swimming pool. The house is in gated area and Marie provided us with a remote control. We feel safe parking and sleeping inside and convenient to go in and out without having to bother her. The room itself is way beyond my expectations. I booked a deluxe double room and I ended up getting a well decorated suite with living room, bedroom, vanity room, bathroom. Breakfast was just amazing!
Cons: There were some flies in the front yard. Might be because it's summer time and the neighbor has a horse so we could understand.

Pros: A very tastefully decorated period property. It really was a pleasure just to be in the house. The room was very clean, a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was great. A good shower with decent shampoo and body wash. Big bathrobes to fit all sizes. The guys working there are lovely. They really care about your stay and the property.
Cons: There’s no parking on the hotel grounds (it’s too small for that), though parking was available less than 100m away. The breakfast is a good quality continental breakfast. They also cook something each day (e.g. pain perdu, pancakes). However, some fresh French pastries wouldn’t have gone amiss.

Pros: Loved the rooms, beautiful linens, modern bathroom, air conditioning worked well (since it was 35 degrees) pool was lovely. Dinner that we took with the others was delicious, and Caroline was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Very well situated in Provence, with nothing more than 45 min away.
Cons: In our room you could only shower sitting in the tub - so a little inconvenient but the bathtub was beautiful.

Pros: Caroline was the sweetest host, and so welcoming! She was so helpful with all the information we needed for the area and even some local very usefull info such as where to go for free parking or where to go for nice local meals! 9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property with a pool and large dining table outside; the room was tastefully furnished with good design and excellent materials; we had everything we needed for a comfortable night’s sleep, plenty of wardrobe space and drawers for our clothing, good WiFi; the hostess put a very nice breakfast out for us and gave us an excellent restaurant close by for dinner
Cons: The property shares the same address as several others; better instructions would have helped us in locating the property; as it was, we ended up driving into the two properties with the same address and were directed down the lane. Once at the property, we needed a code to open the gate; I had to search through my emails to find the code. Coming back to the property after dinner in town was challenging on dark roads with no street lights.

Pros: If you want to be just far enough away from all the major sights in a nice peaceful, serene location, this is the place. You're 15-20 mins from places like Avignon, Chateauneuf de Pape and other wine regions!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing, the Chateau has stunning views, rooms are spacious and bathrooms are just spectacular. Staff is extremely attentive and kind, especially wonderful Nathalie who was most helpful, and Marie who made our breakfast experience a special one every morning. The terrace and the swimming pool area are just perfect, made for total relaxation. We will most certainly come back.
Cons: WiFi is very slow. It is very difficult to find any area for improvement for this fairy tale Chateau. One idea to further enrich the guest experience could be to start a collaboration with some local toiletries producer, have some artisanal lavender soaps for example.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and the rooms were spacious and very clean. We did the wine tasting which was excellent!
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and very quiet place, the room was big, clean and charming, a vine tour and tasting was included (upon request), perfect for couples, we will definitely go back. There is no restaurant on site (just cold self serving breakfast) checkin and checkout are not all the time possible but this was made clear from the place in their very informative email sent us after the booking.
6.7 Good
Pros: Chateau and grounds were stunning. Enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting of the chateau’s own wine. Quiet and secluded spot but within 30 minutes of drive of Avignon.
Cons: Somehow the place seemed to lack any soul with minimal personal contact. Given that the nearest restaurant is a 10 minute drive there was absolute no facilities in the room to make a cup of tea/coffee and no complimentary bottle water provided which we had in all other places we stayed. Far too many rules and regulations!! Breakfast ok but again lacked personal service of any kind. We even had a bread backer with out room name on with our quota of croissants in it!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and very nice and professional staff. My wife and I had an excellent experience, with a great cellar tour and wine tasting. Thank you so much!
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Gorgeous Chateau in the heart of Rhone Valley, close to to Chateauneuf Du Pape, Gigondas and Avignon. A little remote and no staff at night. Simple continental breakfast in a lovely setting, gorgeous rooms and common areas and wine cellar and private tasting thrown in. Very friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. Nathalie was very responsive through multiple queries - Lucille, Marie and Hugo were just so friendly and helpful - and thank you for not leaving us out at night when’s i lost my key!! This was a find - we will surely return.
Cons: Little desolate at night and no staff on site after 6, though very rapid response when I lost my key at night and crisis was quickly averted.

Staying at La Mirande is a journey back through centuries of exquisite French decorative art. Downstairs is the authentic 19th century kitchen, which offers table dhte dining and is also the venue for popular year long cooking classes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff here were so kind, attentive, warm and welcoming! Extremely refreshing as I made my booking last minute to escape another awful hotel in town. I'm so happy to have discovered this gem of a property and look forward to going back!

Pros: Breakfast was a bit confusing in terms of corresponding to the level of the hotel. Wish it were a notch better.

Pros: Very good location, the hotel and the room design brings you to 18-19th century. Room make up both in the morning and in the evening.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff and the location
Cons: It is almost impossible getting their by car. Missed some things on the room like a coffee makee
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very old, but unlike many old hotels, everything was in perfect working condition, like it I was meant to be. Even the water pressure in the wc was strong. Although the hotel has greenery and it was hot summer days and plenty of bugs become active during this time of year, there wasnt a single bug inside the room.
Cons: No enough signs on the road to lead to the hotel and a little investment in signs would have done the job.

Pros: We arrived when expected and were warmly greeted and shown to the attractive suite upstairs. There was one room with double bed and one with couch/single and extra television, so we were able to spread out. The view out the windows was of a well-tended pear orchard and we had homemade pear preserves for breakfast.
Cons: There was some confusion about payment since the info from Booking.com said that our credit card would be charged two weeks before our arrival as well as that we would be asked to pay in cash, which we were happy to do.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a really friendly women. We were welcomed by a cool mint tea. The house is really nice decorated. I really like the france romantic style. Every morning, she prepared the delicious breakfirst. Each day different color theme. I made a lot of pictures of the dishes and the wonderful roze garden. We had a lot of nice talks, even though we cannot directly communicate with. Because I cannot speak French. But it is no problem. We can understand each other by google translator! We watched the World Cup together! We really enjoy living there and talking with the owner. The view of the room is really wonderful with nice garden and the mountain. 我们非常满意,非常开心,非常难忘。
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The house is simply beautiful, every details have been carefully chosen by Dany the space is bigger than what you see in the pictures ; You have a feeling to be in a fairytale. The breakfast is amazing the homemade jams are just from an other world. But what really give this place 11 points is Dany: she is “tres gentile” so nice and so helpful: despite the fact that she speaks only French she went up and down to organize our days and give us very useful tips she is an amazing host!! Merci Dany!! We want to go back with our kids one day
Cons: Absolutely nothing

5.4 Okay
Pros: The bed was confortable, though nothing else really was as described and expected
Cons: We arrived 20 minutes before 17h and they refused to open the door or pick up the phone call. We were coming from a long drive and were exaushted. As finally it turn 17h they open the gate but everything was dark and not at all as the pictures. Felt like they weren't at all expecting visitors. The spa is just a small jacuzzi in a small room which we had to pay extra althoug she never informed us in advance. Also we had to ask to see the jacuzzi and the room was messy and not at all prepared to receive guest. Wouldnt recommend it.

Pros: My daughter & I had one of the best experiences at Garlande Hotel. The service provided by the charming young Lady Axelle and the Gentleman Stéphane was outstanding and filled with love & care... a real great stay and fabulous hospitality ... Bravo. We will surely be back!
Cons: All was marvellous... without exaggeration.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay at the Garlande Hotel, which was in a great location being close to shops and restaurants, however being relatively quiet as well. We arrived at a time when reception was closed but were given an entry code where we could gain access to leave our cases so this was fabulous. The staff member on hotel reception was simply wonderful. She was so efficient, helpful and pleasant to deal with and to speak to, which really made our stay here.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice manager. Clean room and extra bed was not bad. Great location to explore the city.
Cons: Room was not fancy or stylish but perhaps cannot complain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English
Cons: Please provide metal spoons, not plastic stirrers
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff (all family) that was eager to help travelers out and give them ideas on places to eat, things to see/do (even elsewhere in Provence outside of Avignon!). Clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful (homemade) breakfast. Great location near the heart of the old town, but also close enough to a major street to make travel to/from the TGV station easy. Couldn't think of a better place to stay in Avignon.
Cons: Rooms are small and the view from the room wasn't great, but you're located on a narrow street in the heart of the old town in a building several hundred years old, so not really anything unexpected. These hardly detract.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the location is wonderful. our room has a very high ceiling, very conferrable and cozy. Love the decor. Will definitely come back again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the old town near lots of restaurants and shops. Owner gave us great advice regarding towns to visit. We took the train to Nimes one day and Arles the next. Air conditioning worked great. Our room was very spacious for the 3 of us. We each had our own bed.

Pros: nice location, helpfull owner.
Cons: the bed was not stable, no dark curtain for the early light.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly family run establishment, with suggestions of places to visit. Very accommodating when we needed breakfast earlier than normal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and local restaurants and bars. Very easy access to L'Isle sur la Sorgue.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything inside and out was extremely clean and well-kept. There were lovely trees in the courtyard for shade - breakfast was served under them. Breakfasts were delicious - lots of home-made pastries and goodies, fresh fruit and eggs cooked perfectly to order. Excellent coffee. The pool was very clean and comfortably cool and the bar fridge stocked with refreshing drinks (at vey reasonable prices) were a real bonus. The sheets were good heavy cotton and well-laundered. Towels clean and soft. Very good restaurant just around the corner. Our balcony fridge and the aircon were very welcome.
Cons: Through no fault of our own (Eurotunnel delays) we were held up for three hours on our journey down, which we communicated to the owners in the morning. This meant that we would be arriving at 10pm instead of 7pm. We were told in no uncertain terms that check-in at this hour would be impossible and that we should stay overnight somewhere else en route (and then criticised for trying to do the journey in one hit!). After several more phone calls (a relative who lives locally suggested coming to squat in the room until we arrived!) the owners finally agreed to leave the room keys in the door. Had we been arriving after midnight and had the b&b been in the middle of an unsafe neighbourhood this attitude might have been understandable but it was very unwelcoming from people supposedly in the service industry. No apology was ever made although other than this the owners were friendly.
7.9 Good

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place in a wonderful location. Be warned - dinner and breakfast super pricey - we eat out in the town - lost of lovely places to choose from.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I read various write ups about the hotel before I booked and they were right the hotel is exceptional. The rooms, food, staff and location great. We wished we were stopping for another night. Villneave les Avignon is a lovely historical village to look around with quite a few restaurants and bars. More relaxing then the bustling Avignon.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely bed chamber, pool and eating on terrace.
Cons: Nothing -everything was lovely
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit and we will definitely return. I reviewed this hotel last year and it lived up to our memory. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice - they were amongst the best meals on our 2 week driving holiday in France. What we particularly love about this hotel is that it's such an old building, but with all modern requirements, with easy parking and a lovely pool yet it is in the heart of a busy little town, which is full of restaurants, cafes and shops. Our only disappointment was that due to the weather we couldn't have dinner in the beautiful garden as we did last year but maybe next year!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property is lovely. Right outside the old city but easy to get to the centre via taxi. The property is gorgeous and the rooms are perfection. We were overly looking the pool and gorgeous gardens. Breakfast was wonderful sitting outside in the courtyard. really ideal for a romantic get away.
Cons: Did not realize that Breakfast was not included in the booking. not a major problem but our friends thought it should have been.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent and it was a small hotel which felt homey . Our room was fantastic - much larger than we anticipated which was a nice surprise. Tiffany who worked at the front desk was exceptional - right from our booking stage to when we actually met her at the hotel. She was very helpful, went out of her way to assist and was just lovely! A true asset to the hotel .
Cons: The continental breakfast was definitely overpriced £27 pp for what was provided.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pool and gardens. Terrace for dinner is beautiful. Very good staff. Restaurant review separate.
Cons: Our room. Small. Very brown. Odd bits of furniture. Unlike any other R & C we have stayed in before. Booked for 2 nights but left after first! Small buffet breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The premises and the location are very nice.
7.7 Good
Pros: We liked the room, pool and grounds of the hotel. The area was wonderful for walking and sightseeing. The staff was very helpful and responsive to our needs.
Cons: We felt that the dinner was very overpriced and was more presentation then delicious. I requested a green salad but was told that I could not vary from the menu. For such a lovely hotel I would expect that a green salad would not be too much to ask.
6.3 Good
Pros: food and service
Cons: troppo vicino alle rotaie del treno
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Liked eveerything
7.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful grounds and gardens. Hotel is in a quaint, small town within an easy 5 min. drive of Avignon and has much more charm than Avignon. We booked the least expensive room and were given a lovely room with garden view which was quite large.
Cons: no
7.6 Good
Pros: Wonderful restuarant
Cons: Breakfast was expensive, but provided little.
