The best 2stars hotel which I've ever seen. There are excellent design-style large rooms with large wc and beautiful sight from the windows, Friendly staff. check in untill 7pm
Having to walk 700 metres up to the village to eat every night.
This small hotel had a stunning view over the mountains and hills, it is perfect if you are looking for a calm place away from crowds and in the middle of nature (the area is recommended to hikers and mountain-lovers). The rooms were clean, quite simple yet new and with a fresh look. There is no Reception but most of the time there is staff at the small bar (make sure you check in during the day or arrange with them if you plan to arrive late!). Staff was friendly and kind. Good value for money. A car/motorcycle is needed in this region. We didn't like the fact that there was no fridge-minibar, but being a simple hotel in a tiny mountain village it is rather normal. Mostly, we were deceived that our request at reservation for a quiet room wasn't really fulfilled (we were given the room next to the bar and stairs and at 8:00 AM people would come down to have breakfast- not without noise). Since hotel was full, we saw no reason in complaining and asking to change room...
Great value for money. Wonderful position with view straight down the valley.
The room and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The location and the panorama was very good. I liked the room and the view from it. The region is very nice.
Staff member gave helpful directions about walking route into centre of town. Free parking Apppearance of hotel more like an apartment block; very plain
Good base for walking in the mountains and eating in different restaurants every night
Newly-built apartment, appears to be student accommodation but very quiet, all mod cons provided.
Accomodation was relatively quiet and at discount price of 200 euros for 7 nights was good value for money for a solo traveller. Ensuite facilities were small but functional and of reasonable quality. These facilities could possibly have been larger.
Modern ,spacious , clean ,easy to find , view of the mountains
went on walks in the mountains and used different restaurants in town each night
Thanks for nice Time
The studio was just right to stay two nights and make some trips in the mountains. The small kitchwen facility allows preparation of a meal what is very helpfull for young children traveling.
Room spotless and well equiped. Staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Very new rooms, nice area, nice parking. Possible to check in when after the opening hours. Mail 'em. Elevator didn't work, Airco didn't work, No information about the area or activity's
Swimming pool open all day long Narrow car park
Everything (minibar would be ++)
A beautiful facility in a magnificent setting. The staff was unfailingly courteous and helpful.
The atmosphere no
I found the hotel friendly, humerous and helpful. Although the restaurant was not open I was provided with a lovely snack especially welcome as I had a long day getting there
Good WiFi Foam mattresses uncomfortable
Clean rooms, polite staff, free parking, affordable prices, decent restaurant for both quality and prices Unable to take credit cards
The hotel was cheap. There was an interesting scent in the room. One of the beds was too soft for mee.
The hotel is centrally located in Corsica and it is relatively easy to reach the closest beaches north of Porto Vecchio or go to the mountains in the area of Calacuccia. The hotel seems to be a little bit run down. We had our toilet closed because water was leaking but we were not warned about that. The bathroom walls had paint coming off in some places. For breakfast, the croissants seemed to be at least one week old.
Clean room, good breakfast More expensive than a decent Bed and Breakfast, room and bathroom could do with refurbishing
The twin room was modern, spacious, nice and the outside street noice was kept out very well. The shower was great. The outside and entrance of the hotel are old and dark.
Excellent location and good value. Free Wi-Fi and modern, clean rooms. Breakfast is located in the restaurant downstairs. Our a/c didn't work, but there was a fan. The restaurant where breakfast is served is not up to the standard of the hotel.
Location Absence of lift; entrance to the building where the hotel is located (at the first floor) is a bit neglected
Although the place seems a little strange at first, it is quite conforable and good. The room was spacious and the location of the hotel is very good. Small warderobe, small sheets.
The hotel is in the centre of cote and very handy for visiting the sites of corte and its surroundings. The room was well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good and has to be taken at the adjoing bar/cafe. There is no car parking at the hotel and you eother have tp park in a public car park or find street parking. The hotel staff were helpful in identifying this.
The hotel does not look like a hotel from outside. Its entrance is not much different from a typical apartment in any of old European cities. But it is a real hotel--you will know it once you step into the lobby. The rooms have been renovated (or simply new) and very clean. The breakfast costs only one euro each person, quite unusual for hotels in France. The location is also good. The hotel is in the old district of the town, and every part of Corte is within a short walking distance. Parking can be a problem, but there is a large indoor parking facility nearby if you can't find a spot right in front of the hotel.
Very nice setting with nice views of the mountains. Very friendly and helpul owner. Parking was a bit limited at the hotel but there were spaces in the village not that far away so not a big problem.
Very helpful and friendly staff
The owner was most helpful and the breakfast was generous and just right. The setting is unique. We ate on he mini-balcony, and although it was cold, the sense of being surrounded by close-up high mountains, in a tiny perched village, was unique. It's not a villa at all. Actually, 5 or 6 very small, unfinished stone cottages. They are badly built, the walls were sweating, the floor wet. The toilet is micro-size, and there are virtually no amenities. The price, 65 Euro/per night, is way too high for this location, so little comfort, and in January. Very perilous road getting there. Also, did not like having to pay through PayPal because the translation into dollars raised the cost another 3%.
It was actually perfect, spent a great week! The WiFi could be stronger. And cheese for breakfast.:))))
Nice staff and atmosphere !
It was close enough to Corte that we could there very easily, and yet escape to this charming quaint little town afterwards, The owner was extremely helpful, and very busy at the same time, and always very friendly. Delightful breakfasts were served to us on our small patio by him, and each of the little cottages afforded a great deal of privacy. The bathrooms were very tastefully decorated and very comfortable for showering, something not necessarily common in southern Europe.
Scenic location and confotable designed villa. Staff had very good hosipitality.
The hotel - which consists of several detached houses - lies among trees, and has the image of a forest hotel. Very romantic, and surprisingly comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not easy to find, and by big car getting to the hotel and parking might be difficult. Not recommended for handicapped people, as long and steep stairs connect the houses and the parking lot.
