The Bauer Palazzo is a five-star luxury hotel in the heart of Venice, Italy. The hotel is only a two minutes’ walk from St. Mark’s Square with a water bus stop about five minutes from the establishment. Venezia Santa Lucia Station is a quick 20 minutes by water bus, as is the Piazzale Roma car park. This hotel offers 135 guestrooms and 56 suites and is five miles from the Marco Polo Airport. Treviso Airport is 17 miles from the hotel.

There are 15 different styles of rooms and suites at the hotel which are decorated in Venetian and art deco design. There are Italian marble bathrooms with showers and bathtubs along with heated towel racks. Toiletries are from Santa Maria degli Angeli. Each room has a safety deposit box, a desk, hairdryer, and telephone. A flat-screen television is provided with cable channels along with a minibar. Suites are extra spacious with a seating area separate from the bedroom.

There are several restaurants available on-site starting with De Pisis Restaurant, which offers Japan and Mediterranean dishes in a romantic environment. Settimo Cielo offers a view of Venice and serves breakfast each morning. Other restaurants on site include L’Ulivo Restaurant, Canal Bar, and the B Bar Lounge.

The largest wellness center in the city is found at the Bauer Palazzo, where guests can enjoy a Turkish bath, hammam steam room, micromolecular steam bathtubs, hydromassage baths, and eight treatment rooms. There is also a fitness center which offers cardiovascular and strength workout equipment.

5 star hotel, unfortunately spa didn't work b/o COVID, good breakfast, good view, food in the bar is just OK, very convinient water taxi to the airport $140, they have complimentary water service to Murano and Burano, but unfortunately we didn't know about that and when we were offered, we already made the trip on our own. They helped to find where is good to do the COVID test cheaper. Location is perfect, but I would get multiple days vaporetto/bus pass. Staff was very helpful in getting directions to the places we needed, just don't forget, tragetto stop running at 6 pm. We enjoyed our stay.

Cons:Floor plans complex and not safe. Basic facilities far from everything. Ground floor and lobby bathrooms are so hidden one needs a guide to find them. Many staircases have no hand rails. Cost of bottled water obscene! Drinking water is a basic necessity and should be available not priced as an expensive luxury.

Pros:Very easy walking distance to everything. Breakfast was included in our stay. Champagne was served on Sunday. Great variety of foods to select from and coffee was amazing. The view of the Grand Canal cannot be any better.

Pros:I stayed at the Casanova Suites which adjacent to the Bauers and for a family of four was great!! The location is just the greatest. The rooms were huge and they offered everything including 2 bathrooms!!! If you are traveling with young adults and spending time in Venice, this place is it. It was not cheap and it shouldnt be but well worth it!! Your on the main canal and yds from St Marks square. I will recomend it to my friends.
Cons:Needed more TV sets in the bedrooms.
