A unique location in the heart of Venice, a 5-star luxury hotel within a splendid 15th-century Venetian palace. Once the patrician residence of the noble Sagredo family, the palace still retains its historical and artistic beauty over five centuries later. Overlooking the Grand Canal, between Ca' D'Oro and the Rialto Bridge, Ca' Sagredo has been awarded museum and national monument status. A stay at the Ca' Sagredo is a truly unique experience.
The hotel is beautiful, like staying in a museum. Having breakfast surrounded by frescoes was a unique experience
I asked the front desk to help me book a train to Florence the night prior to checking out. They told me that they could not do this for me, but not to worry as the trains don't sell out anyway. Unfortunately when we showed up at the train station, the train to Florence we needed was sold out ruining our plans for the afternoon. I stayed in two other hotels on this stay in Italy and in both the staff booked train tickets for me
Excellent location and superb view on Grand canal from my room. The room number was 103. I would really recommend it.
Breakfast was rather modest. Also as some reviewer already said the hotel lacks atmosphere. It is all too silent. Interente is bloody expensive but one can use Venice connected for EUR 5 a day.
The facilities were beautiful.
I was disappointed that we could not receive a late check out after my running of the Venice Marathon. I was told that at 1pm there were no rooms availible for a quick shower.
Service was good
Cost of mini bar and breakfast was not freshly cooked
Imaginative use of an old building, with beautiful public spaces and spacious bedrooms, first-rate facilities
i liked the design of the hotel the intenal and the external and the servies of the hotel its one of the best hotels
Very easy access to transport both public and private
The hotel is beautifull, and clean
A bar to have a drink would be nice. The hotel is a little far away from St Marco.
Beautiful building, location, and room
Staff did not have a very helpful or accommodating attitude, we were surprised to find out, and we had several experiences of not feeling the service was good with front desk staff particularly. Orange juice at breakfast not included and charged 14 euros a day for 2 fresh orange juices.
the junior suite was very tasteful with nice size bed and room
on arrival we met someone at reception who was not very pleasant but the next morning we did not have to deal with him and the rest of the staff were lovely throughout out stay. The hotel does not have a great bar facility but the setting and the food in the restaurant on the canal was excellant and matched its 5 star rating. I would stay again as it is only getting on its feet with opened only four months.
Exceptionally beautiful building, gracious and low-key atmosphere of tasteful opulence.
