The location is good for walking the strip and is reasonable close to midtown. Hairdryer was broken and bathroom could have been cleaner. The sky tower needs a big remodel.
Clean room, spacious No pool, too many fees
I came to the hotel to work but the internet would not work properly. I was denied a refund also.
The game for the kids, bigger room, and just overall great place. No complaints
There are three hotels as part of the complex. Low rent guests. Looked like the truckers convention, poor house had just let out. If you can't afford a nicer hotel you shouldn't be gambling.
Very nice room, sports bar area, and places to eat. Felt like everything I needed was on the property. Although I liked the fact property has interior connections to sister properties. Very convenient. Just the relaxed night in Reno I needed before my trip back to Vegas after being in Carson City on business. Everything was fine.
I have been to coming to circus circus for about 25 years now since I was a kid and I have to say I have always enjoyed coming here the midway is great for kids and adults and everyone is friendly the bed at our last stay had just been replaced 3/16 so it was pleasant to have a newer mattress (look under the mattress on the foot at one of the corners they use a sharpie)
Immaculate room! The staff was wonderful and friendly. The kids area was very affordable even for myself with 4 kids. Just a really fun and happy atmosphere! I wish the room would've had a microwave and more importantly a fridge. It would have saved me some money to be able to store leftovers instead of throwing it all away. The small ice bucket wasn't large enough to keep several drinks cold for my family. It's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
The price I felt like housekeeping was rushing me out of my room in the morning. During previous visits I had not felt like that.
The rooms are large, seemed clean. We had our car with the Yakima cargos carrier on. The parking garage was so low to self park, we barely fit, there were a few trucks park inside literally look like they had an1 inch clearance, a long walk to check in up stairs, not fun with bags, standing in line with a rough crowd, going to the room felt like we could get mugged,we were a little shocked that the car had not gotten broken into!at a cost of almost 100.00 a night! By the way thanks for the resort fee
I like that it was right on the strip and had good views of the mountains. the room was out dated and had mold and was falling apart. the shower was loud and barely worked. the beds were very uncomfortable. Also the customer service in the beginning while checking in was horrible even though it was slow the person who checked me in was rude and so was the manager at the time. once I got to my room I even went back down hoping to get some one else so I could switch rooms since there was mold in the bathroom and the wall paper was peeling off and when I got there I did get some one different but even she was rude and said they could not switch rooms for me since I had already checked in and went in to the room even though I hadn't even sat down. I travel a lot so I know what to look for when I first enter. this was my girlfriends 21st birth day weekend and I felt bad because she did not even want to shower in our room. she went to one of our friends rooms and showered.
It was ok to stay and see how the rooms are The room was leaking from the window from upstairs ac unit
the clean rooms the cold and snow
Resturant 's and Terrance lounge had a very nice setting. Service was very friendly and helpfull. Cocktails were perfect. Pool was open already at 6am and was very nice to enjoy. Rooms were a bit outdated. Bath-tap faucet became loose and we could not use the shower when we needed it. ( long drive from las Vegas through Dead Valley) Room repair came and fixed the faucet prompt.
Very nice, we really enjoyed our stay
We used and appreciated the clean and complete health facility. We thought it would be closer to the river for walking but it was a drive.
Close to where I needed to be for a friend's wedding The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke, had to air them out for a day with the window open to get the smoke out. The front desk was generally slow, the sheets had holes in them and were not tucked in well.
NICE CASINO, COMFY CHAIRS, MANY CHOICES TO EAT. EASY CHECK-IN AND OUT, BELLHOP SERVICE AND VALET SERVICE GREAT. OUR ROOM SEEMED OVER CROWDED, AND NEEDED SOME REPAIRS TO ITEMS IN THE ROOM. TURNED IN A NOTE WITH THE LIST OF ITEMS WHEN WE CHECKED OUT.
I LOVED the staff. From the time I checked in, I felt welcomed. I loved the room...very luxurious, great value. I called down to the front desk for many things at different times and every shift had fabulous people. Even the ladies at the cafe have great service. I will absolutely come back and bring my family! Thank you very much!
The room was clean and comfortable. The spa massages were great. Some of the food was actually pretty good, but not awesome. It took forever to get to our room, and it felt like we were heading to the wrong side of the tracks in a run down area. Make sure you understand where your room will be. If you don't care about run down common areas and rooms next to the dumpsters, then book without abandon, but never having been there, I didn't realize it could be so unappealing. The room was actually just fine and clean, but it took forever to walk there. Spend a little more to stay closer in. Otherwise, smokey casino, and typical good. Not unexpected.
Cleanliness friendly staff Slow wifi ended up turning it off and using the data from my own plan why pay for an upgrade when I already pay for a phone plan?
The room is very spacious, comfortable bed and quiet room. we've booked three rooms and overall my whole family really enjoy the stay. upon check out, the FD associate there's a restaurant charge in one of our room. obviously, we never dine in or call room service during our stay. with family of us, we leave early in the hotel and coming late at night to sleep and rest. I hope this wrong charges will not despite my future stay. Thanks.
It was a room for the night. Rude front desk staff, smokey, dated decor, not cool. Won't stay here again.
Didn't win any money Our first room was not the one I registered for. Then they cleared it up. but it took a couple of hours.
My room was in west tower and one of the elevators was noisy all night
Price was amazing but room would still have been great at 3 or 4 times the price. Bed was super comfortable. Casino staff was professional and friendly. Some better food in the casino would have been nice, but not a deal breaker by any means. Check in time was a bit long on a Tuesday evening. The 2 workers at registration were very efficient but clearly could have used some extra help. Parking for West Tower was too easy to miss. I ended up parking on the east side and had quite a long walk.
Nothing this visit was not a good trip. First, the check in line is long and they only had 3 attendants to check people in. This has always been problem but you think they could realize they have a lot of check ins on a friday night and they should staff appropriately. Then I valeted my truck to get it back in the AM with a broken when and some items stolen out of it. The worst part was the Nugget security and staff (outside of the valet) could seem to care less. They did not offer to pay for the window, I had to ask them to call Sparks PD. Horrible I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. Between themeless people sleeping around the hotel and the break in this hotel IS NOT SAFE!!!. Just in case you were wondering this wasn't my first time there and I have probably stayed there over 100 times in my life.
The room was spacious with a nice large bathroom and comfortable beds. Staff on the phone was very unhelpful. The steak at Rosie's Restaurant was horrible, quite possibly the worst steak I have ever had. However my waiter did offer to make it right and I appreciated that.
The room was clean an didn't have a smoke odor. The property is dated and needs to be updated.
Not much My service
The pool is very nice, but I was surprised by the number of kids with their families. It was difficult if not unsafe to try and swim laps when kids are running and jumping into the pool. There was no life guard or any other hotel supervision. Don't kids have to go to school during the week? But I guess that is another subject...
Casino/ hotel is clean friendly food is awesome beer is cold Long lines at check inn people don't like to wait anymore get some help when lines get long
Cleanliness of room and bathroom smelling cigarette smoke all through the evening and night no microwave no mini refrigerator
absolutely great room and at a great internet price. the parking is at multilevel garages for each tower of rooms, east or west. BE FOREWARNED: If you have a hard time walking and carrying baggage, you might consider valet parking or asking for help/service. Pull into their large registration drive to allow one of your party to go in to register to find out which tower your room is so you know which garage to park. parking garag walkway into hotel is on floor 2 and registration is on LOWER lobby. We have stayed here twice a year apart for visits to the area for family visits and sightseeing. enjoyed breakfast at Rosies? Diner
Handy to interstate and airport. Rooms are very dated. Buffet food was mediocre at best. No hand cleaning stations and lots of finger food so guests lick their fingers, then go back for more, sharing their germs with everyone else....VERY GROSS....would NEVER eat there again.
I liked the room and cleanliness, but would have preferred having a refrigerator. The wifi was excellent, but the outlets were difficult to access. The lamps could be replaced with those that have usb charging ports, add a refrigerator, and the room would be perfect!
easy check in, and out, valet is great on this trip, the food at the buffet needs inprovement
The whole place N/A
Our second room was nice and what we expected. The hotel made it right, but it took 3 calls, two maintenance calls, and a room move. During the hottest week of the year, our room stayed at a toasty 75 degrees and we had no sleep for the first two nights. Also, the buffet was overpriced and not very good. Very disappointed!
Large casino, lots of places to eat and things to do. Can literally stay there and not leave for anything. Lots of slot machines, tables. Wasn't very clean, room smelled like smoke even though non smoking room. There was hair in the shower and bathroom that was not ours. The room was just generally rundown.
When I called the front desk to request checking out at 1pm, she said $20 extra charge plus tax and repeated for a few times emotionless. Most time this hotel's rate per night is about $20.
When we checked in during the night the male person in the front desk was not frowning but not also smiling. Being in the hospitality business I would expect at least a smile. He just told me that two queen beds are in the room without even asking is that okay (I chose a king sized bed and a sofa bed when I signed up). Didn't argue anymore since I just want to hit the bed.
I liked that there are many options for the kids to have fun. The arcade, bowling alley, movie theater, pool, sand volleyball court, etc. There are plenty of options to get something to eat and drink. The room was very spacious and great view of the pool area. There really isn't a need to leave the hotel. Wal-mart is across the street. Not as many shady looking folks that are plentiful in the downtown / Virginia St. area. Not really a gambler but lots of space between machines. Sportsbook area has a big screen with plenty of little screens surrounding a nice sized dance floor in the middle of it. Overall, we had a good stay and I would definitely come back. Elements buffet was closed. In our room #567, the carpet felt dirty, there was no fan in the bathroom, the shower head was at chest level (I'm 6'4") and no microwave. There was a fridge but we didn't use it. The back parking lot near the golf driving range seems to be a hangout for local teens/ young adults. Also transient looking people coming and going from RV park. Many potholes in the parking lot and parking space lines need to be redone.
the rooms were very clean. Breakfast at the Grand Café was great- huge portions and good food. The kitchen was kind enough to make mac and cheese for my 3 year old at breakfast. The buffet is being remodeled and the Saturday prime rib/seafood was temporarily housed in a downstairs conference room. It was a huge disappointment. The selection was poor, some of the food had been sitting aging for some time.
Nothing Terrible customer service, oversold hotel, we were left looking for a different hotel at midnight with our 3 kids!
The room was clean and large. Decoration was relatively new. The hotel had a lot of entertainment facilities including cinema, arcade playground, restaurants, and casino. Staff was friendly and prompt. Our reservation asked for "grand view" and we got it (other options are "quiet room", "easy access", and something else). It was next to Walmart. The beds were too soft for us so we didn't sleep well. There were no microwave and refrigerator in the room (only available in Summit suites). Bath tub drain ran slowly.
The rooms were good. The bathroom sink did not drain well. We have almost 800.00 of charges that are not ours. Luggage was misplaced by bell desk. Will not stay their again. Staff is too busy to help.
The hotel smelt of smoke Our room smelt of vomit The furnishing were outdated and old There was no fridge in the room
Everything was great, good hotel, excellant location. Should be a mini fridge in every room I had a small ice chest with that I always bring on vacations so I just kept refilling with hotel ice machine to keep my food cold.
Location was convenient. The Silver Legacy, the El Dorado, and Circus Circus are joined so you can walk between without going to street level. Lots of selection for food. Friends who booked directly with the hotel were upgraded while those who didn't were not. My bed was firm as a rock on the peasant levels of the tower and my shoulder is still hurting from sleeping on the bed. My entire room could fit inside the bathroom of the other travelers. The room didn't have a fridge and was mediocre for the price.
Nice, clean rooms, fast check-in, complimentary champagne while waiting to check-in, good restaurants. Machines were tight, not paying out enough to keep me interested.
While the hotel was otherwise pleasant... I had about $3,000 worth of belongings stolen from my car during daylight hours. When filing a report with hotel security, it became clear that their job was not to assist me but to protect the hotel, as the first words out of each of their mouths were, "The hotel isn't liable for your stuff." Security also refused to show or provide me the security video from the parking lot, although supposedly shared with the police. A shame they can't keep their own parking lot secure.
Everything was great
A large variety of restaurants to choose from. Connected to surrounding casinos.
Front desk was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in needed vacuuming.
Free airport shuttle, speedy early check in with no hassle. Decent pool and hot tub. Easy access to casino, restaurants and salon. Terrible nachos from pool bar. Clogged tub. Remote control needed new batteries. And they charged an overnight resort fee despite that I didn't stay the night.
The rooms No buffet
Great view!! Sketch people in the casinos later in the evenings
I loved the room very clean and comfortable. Service was great and friendly. Very great experience. Highly recommend staying at this hotel. The location is great and has very many places to eat and shop. I love the fact that this hotel is connected to others so you don't have to go outside. Looking forward to my next stay at silver legacy. There wasn't anything that I didn't like
I liked the cleanliness. My room was very open and comfortable. I didnt feel claustrophobic. I also liked that its connected to the circus circus hotels Arcade! THE MAN AT THE LOBBY/FRONT DESK THAT GAVE US OUR ROOM WAS JUST AWESOME!! Very nice and welcoming!! I didnt like that i felt rushed at the cafe everytime i ate there. (The cafe in silver legacy next to the eldorado.) i felt rushed and the waiters would walk away before i finished talking. The young men at the valet that worked MONDAY AT 12:46AM was a bit rude and i felt a bit worried leaving my car to his care. The security at the entrance of the room towers were all very nice and welcoming.
Nothing. Had to get smoking room.
Light from hall visible under the door and not conducive for sleeping. Large space under the door also allowed for transmission of sounds as guests came and went through the halls throughout the night.
The buffet voucher and compensation for spoiled food mini fridge not on properly fitness area closed had purchased swim attire spent more money than expected on food n shower was spilling water out of tub onto floor wsd Everything
No self parking after circling around the lot several times. Finally called the front desk and wa advised to self park at a valet spot. Sold out night and did not get 2 double beds as charged by kayak.com. A group of friends had to squeeze in king size bed (in 2 rooms) and slept on the dirty carpeted floor. Canceled 3rd room booked with 2 beds because it was unavailable. Horrible experience!
Room was clean, comfortable, smoke-free by floor a big plus. Staff at check-in were helpful and friendly. Hash House a-go-go had awesome chicken and waffles! Table games were not open Sunday night. Entire casino area smelled of smoke
Nice price room was great and we did not have any other guess making loud noises. Love the steak house
Great Location Great Staff Shuttle to and from Airport - Edwin is Awesome! My bed made me itch. Not sure if it was detergent, bugs... I slept on top of the covers. The shower drain drained slowly.
The people; staff were courteous, and even joyful.. Carpets in corridors were worn and dirty - 14th floor. In general, the property seemed a bit dated.
There was plenty of things to do The staff was not familiar and didnt want to hornor their total rewards program. They failed even in trying to help with the problem and didnt attempt to educate themselces from other employees
Very good location! Easy to find foods and activities. Tv was not able to turn on. We made call after calls to front desk & service center. Then, we waited over 5 hours before someone showed up past midnight. All they said was sorry.
If you are going to Reno to play some slots maybe some table games or keno Harrah's is just fine a little small compared to some of the surrounding Casinos and a little outdated feeling but there was enough games to keep us occupied. But if you are going to Reno to bet on sports then Harrah's is not the casino you would want to visit. Their sports book area is small old with small T.V.s and no sound there is limited seating and no wait staff for eating or drinking, the areas that have larger screens and better seating are kept shut down most of the time and when they are open there was no wait staff.
Every single thing...!!! Food, fun, full of great people & full of peace...!!! You can have everything together...
We are travelers from Hawaii arriving very late in the middle of the night. What a pleasure it was to find such a welcoming staff to receive us. Every interaction that we had was a joy. Management is doing a terrific job of hiring the best staff. We will most definitely think of Atlantis whenever we are in Reno. Everything was wonderful – the room and cleanliness was top notch.
This was our third stay at the Atlantis, using only the hotel, no gambling. We have found the hotel to be consistently clean, comfortable, well equipped and easy to check in and out. The beds are especially comfortable, and the room blacks out nicely for a later sleep. We found that the three times we had breakfast in the Purple Parrot, that the food was consistently well prepared and well served. We love the place. The only criticism is the ever present cigarette smoke. Though not very apparent in the hotel room, it is strong in the lobby due to the proximity with the gambling facilities. In the Purple Parrot, where we ate breakfast, it was noticeable, but not enough to spoil the enjoyment of the wholesome food served. We would stay there again if passing through Reno. Cigarette smoke, but we understand the nature of a Casino business. Thank goodness the hotel room and breakfast restaurant were substancially smoke free.
It was very clean and all the staff was very friendly and accommodating There is no night life for young travelers and the drinks where mostly flavoring and not alcohol
Easy place to stay.
The price was right, the room was clean and comfortable. Use the fitness room each day it's well set up and stocked. And the pool is great to hang out and read a book even though I wasn't swimming. I enjoyed this specialty pillow I slept on so much I called after I got home to find out more about it so I could buy one for myself. The staff never returned my call
The rooms were very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The cigarette, smoke I had a non smoking room which was nice but as soon as I walked out, the hall was filled with smoke stink! If they had smoking and non smoking floors it would be better.
A bit peeved when booking to find the resort fee and special tourist tax added 505 more to the low price. This was more than made up for by the fact we got $20 off dinner there and using gambling credits we also turned that into $18 of cash back, so we did end up with a great deal on the room - just passing through for one night it made an excellent stay. We also used their excellent fitness center the next morning before leaving. The rooms are well supplied. plush bedding for great sleep , excellent internet plus great service and helpful employees all around. In the end I was very happy with the choice of Atlantis for an overnight, passing through stay. resort fees and special local tourist taxes
food great steak house wonderful help in casino ask were something was I was told not my area can not help u, Had a machine stop up after I won and it took 45 min for atten.
Rooms were very nice and updated, facility was clean and lots of great restaurants available. The Casino smoke stayed downstairs in the casino. The Napa Bistro was an excellent choice for dinner and the Sauvignon Blanc for $10 a glass was amazing! The Purple Parrot restaurant gave me indigestion from the French toast (which I had to send back from all the black charred flakes covered all over my toast from the flat griddle). The air quality needs improvement. My nose and throat were congested, scratchy, and irritated from the smoke in the casino downstairs.
Very comfortable bed. We loved how ypu had specialty pillows and late check out very clean bathroom. Room service should have desserts on the food list to make a romantic stay more romantic. Bed skirt had stain on it and some of the pillows looked like they needed update. Along with one of the pillow cases smelled like someone had slept on it for a day or two and it smelled like cologne on one side as well. So that was nasty.
Excellent rooms, gym, Internet, value. Buffets and happy hour at Napa bistro Smoke smell in hallways. Resort fee was more than advertised on kayak. Front desk didn't know of $10 free play that was part of purchased room package.
The staff was terrific. The food we had was excellent. The room was accommodating. The facility is average. 4 stars seems high for the amenities, but it appears to be one of the best Reno has. If you don't have anything at the convention center, you are not walking distance from the downtown or riverwalk. The pool and hottub area, indoor and out are questionable.
Napa Bistro happy hour. Great beds and linens. Nice rooms. 3rd party reservations were wrong. I had to contact them to get it corrected. Took 1 hour. Didn't win, even a little.
The cleanest casino I have stayed at in Reno. The non-smoking room had no smoke smell at all which was very nice. The casino itself was also very well ventilated and the smoke wasn't too bad. The Atlantis as a whole was very clean and I will be staying here again.
