Pros: Fabulous breakfast and dinner were to die for. Martine and Paul-Henri were the perfect hosts. All the facilities were there to make your stay as perfect as possible. A wonderful place to stay.
Pros: We enjoyed a week’s stay at La Caldamente in August. Martine and Paul-Henri made us feel very welcome and all the facilities were superb. The swimming pool is excellent with both sunbathing and shaded areas. The en-suite bedroom is large with a comfortable bed and beautiful interior décor and the downstairs lounge area was great for relaxing in the evening. The highlight of our stay were the excellent breakfasts. All the produce was local and organic and we enjoyed beautifully presented fruit salads, a great selection of local cheeses, jams and honey, croissants, homemade cake, eggs cooked to order and wonderful fresh bread. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Martine and Paul-Henri
Pros: Location, facilities, the owners
Cons: Everything was perfect. 8 year old and 85 year old both loved it. O me too
Pros: Fabulous property with hosts to match. We were made to feel very welcome in this lovely home. Great facilities and decorated to a high standard with great taste. We also had a lovely dinner cooked for us!
Cons: A steep staircase could be an issue for elderly
Pros: Amazing hosts, best breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel
Pros: Spacious accommodation with access to lovely garden with a pool. Breakfasts were a treat.
Cons: For the length of our stay some cooking facilities would have been welcomed.
Pros: Really exceptional place: nice rooms, a lot of space, excellent breakfast. You can also have dinner, and you will get the full taste of French cuisine. Very kind host!
Pros: This was an excellent B & B in a private detached residence with electronic gates. There was a swimming pool in the garden adjoining the house. The location was 5 minutes from the village of Rieux-de-Pelleport . Our hosts were a couple who were very attentive and provided an a 1st class breakfast. We stayed 2 nights and the purpose of our visit was to attend a wedding in the area.
Cons: Everything was to our satisfaction.
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: The main issue AND IT IS A REAL ISSUE was that the bedroom was up a set of very steep open tread steps. The construction of the stairs appeared flimsy from the start, creaking on every step. On the second night 3 steps came loose from their mountings causing me to fall to the room below. Three stairs and a TV were damaged and they tried to claim from our travel insurance, mentioning this at each time we ate. This was even mentioned when we happened to meet in a supermarket. We were told they were supposed to eat with the guests and each mealtime was accompanied by their constant chatter. whilst there was a pool bar the owner stated local regulations only allowed alcohol to be consumed with an evening meal in the dining area. The garden is not private, it borders the main drive to the property also used by the owners. The family dog was frequently loose in the grounds, despite the owners being informed I was frightened of dogs due to having recently being hospitalised due to a severe dogbite. The bed was not changed or even made up during our 8 night stay
Located in Loubieres, Bedbreakfastbikespyrenees is in a rural location, a 1-minute drive from Pyrenees Ariégeoises Regional Natural Park and 8 minutes from Underground River of Labouïche. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautifull quiet location near the main road. Hospitable hosts!
Pros: Great accomodation in a quiet peaceful place, nice and friendly host, tasty breakfast. The bedroom has neither TV nor a table, they are located in a spacious common zone just at the same floor. Perfect place to visit Foix or its surroundings. We have really enjoyed our stay!
Pros: A very calm and beautiful place in the region. The host was kind, trustful and helpful ( even cute dogs came to say hi in the morning) Great bed, very enjoyeable commun parts.
Pros: A lovely rural setting with very friendly and helpful hosts
Pros: The hosts are wonderful folks. Not only have they created a beautiful, comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting in Ariege but they are both a font of information about the area and willing to go above and beyond to help. If you're a cyclist, you will fall in love with the place. Kev has raced for years and knows just about everything you'd need to know about the resources of the area and about bikes. Bev was wonderful to talk to and has made a lovely garden setting. The town of Foix is a wonderful place to visit as is the whole surrounding countryside. If you want a great place to stay while you visit and/or cycle, this is your spot.
Cons: Not really anything to dislike.
Pros: The room was superb. Large with excellent en suite. So comfortable we did not venture out for an evening meal. Good continental breakfast. Host Beverley was very nice. Great place to stay after time in Pyrenees. Highly recommended for both cyclists and non cyclists.
Pros: Great hosts, great food, comfy rooms. Easy access to some amazing cycling routes.

Pros: Dominique and Nadine were wonderful hosts. I was welcomed to my room earlier than the advertised check in time. The room was gorgeous with a great view, clean and nicely designed. We set a dinner time and I was treated to a home cooked farm to table meal that was the best I've had in France. Beautiful table decorations, great service and a delicious meal with wine. Breakfast was a feast, with home made bread, jams and honey; fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. Went for a walk down the farm road in the morning, with a view of the Pyrenees to the south. Bought some farm fresh gifts to take home. Excellent hosts, accommodations, food and view. Highly recommend. I want to return and bring my family.
Pros: Lovely peaceful location atop a hill amongst rolling fields and woodlands.
Cons: Lack of wi-fi even in common area - a definite minus for overseas visitors
Pros: What a fantastic farm stay! The hosts were very welcoming, the room was so nice with an authentic French atmosphere, the food was outstanding! Genuine ingredients prepared on the farm and cooked to perfection, especially the foix gras! Breakfast was really good as well. The views of the Pyrenees are out of this world! Pros: The place was in need of a complete redecoration
Cons: The breakfast was very poor for €8 per head . The hotel was situated in a very poor area and very very noisy at night
Pros: The hotel was great inside with spacious rooms and the staff were brilliant and helpful
Pros: Good communication before my stay, nice staff (smiling and helpful), clean room. No disturbance during my stay, the floor was very quiet. The visual aspect (or theme) of the hotel is hit or miss, but I really enjoyed its atmosphere and furnishing.
Cons: The parking lot is muddy and requires detours to reach it. Exit can be obstructed by other cars. The above comments are mitigated by the fact that having a parking lot in such a small street is still extremely convenient.
Pros: Very friendly person at reception when we arrived. Lovely room with lovely view onto square in front of hotel. Bed very comfy. Bathroom clean and good shower. The hotel washed and dried our clothes free of charge! Great help! Room had air conditioning! We were there on a very hot day!
Cons: With the windows open at night, bery noisy - had to close windows and use air con.
Pros: The room furnìture was new and comfortabke, probably IKEA which means that the wardrobe doors stay shut, unlike many French small town hotels.
Cons: no elevator, no one to help to carry heavy suitcase. Breakfast was very poor.

Pros: Good was excellent, even though pricey. Very comfortable beds. Had a bath which was fantastic. Secure parking for the motorbike
Cons: Meals where expensive
Pros: nice and helpfull stuff, easy acess, good parking, problem-free wifi.
Cons: the doors to the bathroom were "saloon-style"- they could have put sliding doors instead, but, anyway, not a big problem when travelling alone
Pros: Functional hotel with friendly staff, clean and comfortable, okay for a few nights stay. Near a main road but rooms quiet as well double glazed. Not near the centre of town. Parking available, onsite Restaurant and okay breakfast.
Pros: Great restaurant, offering specialities from the Province. Lovely room, double-glazed for silence, Plenty of parking space. Helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing to dislike about this place, except to note that it is really only for travellers with their own transport, as it is away from the town area.
Pros: Good breakfast buffet and freshly squeezed orange or fruit juice.
Cons: Could perhaps tidy up wallpaper. But not a big issue at all
Pros: Looking for a "cheap" place to stay for one night to break up a long journey. Very good value for money, everything clean, staff helpful & accommodating. Despite being right next to dual carriageway room was nice & quiet.
Cons: Nothing, for the money I paid very satisfied
Pros: Room was large and cool
Cons: Finding the place
Pros: Our room was newly renovated. The bed and linens were clean, new and very comfortable. The bathroom was industrial, but clean. The breakfast was OK. Coffee machine coffee, fruit, cereal and packaged pastries. Fresh squeezed orange juice was nice.
Cons: The common areas were really dreadful and sad. The bathroom in the lobby was in terrible disrepair and had not been cleaned in a long time. We were coming from a fair distance away, and arrived about 20 minutes earlier than the stated check-in time (hard to judge). Instead of killing time in Pamiers, we decided to see if our room was ready so we could unwind a bit and get ready for a wedding we were attending that afternoon. Owner checked us in, but did not make us feel very welcome - seemed pretty put off that we showed up early. Also, I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and was really startled by the amount of light coming through the space in the door jamb - I honestly thought someone had come in and left the door open. Soap and soap dispensers in bathroom are gas station quality.
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: Bathroom was messy
With a stay at Le Roi Gourmand in Pamiers, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Pamiers Cathedral and Saint Martin Animal Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Cons: Old , dirty , noise of flushing toilets , noise from the floor above (owner live there ?) ... 9 euro for a warm gin tonic (they have no ice) and which makes it more expensive then a night club in Sweden. ... More visit for and my company in Pamier. But never more in this lousy 1 star hotel.
Pros: Good location. Good bar. Good breakfast.
Cons: Bit dated. No shower head holders. Expensive dinner menu. Not all options available.
Cons: Disgusting bathroom mold everywhere. No one present upon arrival, with no instructions as what to do. Run down horrid place.
Pros: The bed was very confortable and very clean. It was also well situated, close to the station
Cons: The leaking toilets which we reported. It was nothing special. And the bathroom door squeaked.
Pros: Nothing - no reception for arrival or departure. Hotel closed on arrival. Tourist office manager to get us a pass code to enter the hotel.
Cons: Everything could be better: 1.there could be someone in the hotel working 2 hotel should be open on arrival 3 it should not need a visit to the tourist office to obtain a passcode
Pros: The Location is Very Convenient.
Cons: Not Aply, because Everything was Good for Us.
With a stay at Premiere Classe Pamiers in Pamiers, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Pamiers Cathedral and Pyrenees Ariégeoises Regional Natural Park. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Shower way too small and overall outdated and worn down.
Cons: Hotel looked & felt like a prison (from what I've seen on TV). Very small box room with tiny bathroom pod. Cigarette damage to the sink. Only just enough toilet paper & no spares. Only one power point. You need to take an extension lead adapted for French use. Room was disgustingly dirty. Under the bed had not been cleaned for months. Even the dog would not go under there. She had slept on the floor under bed, for coolness, at five other hotels on way down to Spain & back. We drove through Andora (great scenery but concrete towns. Very cheap fuel), so arrived late. Tried to phone hotel but appears Andora blocks English phones, so be aware. Phoned hotel in advance, once over the boarder, to get door codes etc. Receptionist didn't understand English & even with my little French, hadn't a clue to what I wanted. She did give us the access code to gate but I had to use the automated screen to book in & pay. Worked it out in the end. Also paid for breakfast in advance when booking in. Don't bother. Cost was 5.60e each. The selection was very poor & not what one expects of a continental breakfast. No pastries etc. Only 2 cereals to choose from & only sweet breads. No toaster. Eventually managed to get a refund. The hotel surround was dirty. Staff sat outside in the morning eating & smoking. Noisy adults & kids abound during the evening but quiet after 11pm+.
Pros: The room was secure and comfortable— just what we needed for the night.
Cons: too tight
Pros: The room was small by American standards but very clean and functional . The ac wasn't working but the window swung totally open to allow nice air flow into the room for comfortable sleep
Pros: Good value and breakfast and discount on restaurant nearby
Cons: It was 22C @ night and the air/con wasn't turned on because risk of snow and was told it takes 2 days to turn on ?? Was a poor excuse..also had noisy neighbours chatting loud until 0100..so sadly wasnt so great !
Pros: close to amenities, close to road links.
Cons: there was nothing wrong with the hotel.
Pros: Warm rooms with all basics we needed
Cons: No staff past 9pm and difficult to work out how car park gate works
Pros: Location and price
Cons: The room was actually pretty dirty , big suspect stains behind the over head bed and on the walls ,
