good for road trip. Needed an overnight stay before we arrived in Paris. no
Very basic accommodation, at best Not clean to expected standards, and bathroom crummy and smelly. Lack of ventilation/extraction a problem.
We liked the situation of the hotel and its proximity to the main roads. The staff were very friendly and the facilities easy to use. No
Stayed for one night only. Everything you'd expect of budget accommodation.
Easy to find and only suitable as a stop over, located next the motorway for easy get away and next to a couple of restaurants within 2 minutes walk I can only describe this (hotel) as a portacabin with a portaloo cubicle inside to and shower and toilet, if your nimble enough you could sit on the loo, take a shower and brush your teeth all at the same time, I used it for one night with 2 kids and the wife and that was enough, if your on your own then it would be fine, used by a lot of workers on stop over, very basic breakfast amenities.
friendly staff cramp room and toilet facilities. poor breakfast.
The Hotel was clean and the staff helpful, as we were only staying for one night en-route to Italy it was ok. I would not wish to stay for longer as it really is a budget hotel.
Friendly check-in (if you arrive before she goes home), room for 4 people at €39 is great value, good buffet breakfast Small, well-used rooms, tiny bathroom, no charm at all, surrounded by other low-price hotels on an industrial estate. You wouldn't want to spend much time here, but for overnight it is fine.
Staff were excellent. Single beds were very good but double bed suffered from "roll together"
The force of the water in the shower. The third bed in the room wasn't made.
Everything about the hotel is attended to with the very best attention to detail. The room is quite small, but certainly comfortable for an overnight stay.
Very basic, miniscule bathroom, but clean. Fancy restaurant in the hotel was massively over-priced and mediocre as was the meagre breakfast.
it was in a great position in the countryside near the heart of the chablis region. It was expensive in terms of the gourmand menu and wine list. There was also a strange dish on the gourmand menu which seemed to be a very large bowl of yoghurt!! otherwise really well cooked though little aloof.
We liked the accommodation with a good clean comfortable room with good en suite facilities. There was a fridge, television and hairdryer. The bedrooms were in a separate block at the back of the main hotel with adequate parking. Although the restaurant was well laid out the food and drink tended to be rather expensive. The breakfast was rather sparse for the price paid.
As the hotel is classified 2 Stars only one would not expect too much, The comfort and services were just adequate but not more. Based on this the price was too high.
Old fashioned but comfortable room. We arrived at the same time as another guest, late Sunday afternoon, to find there was no-one at the hotel and none of the phone numbers answered, except for an answering machine. After almost an hour I found the local tourist office was open and they had another number for the owner who answered and gave me the code to enter and find our room. She told me she would arrive within an hour. No staff showed up until Monday morning, at breakfast, which was something of an inconvenience for us and the few other guests. Even on Monday morning, there was only one person who was looking after breakfasts, and to settle the bill. Although end Sept, this was unexpected, and would have been a disaster had the information office not been open.
The location is excellent , rooms are large (for France ) and comfortable with some very good bars and resturants in walking distance. We found the staff (owner ) unfriendly and on one day our room was not even made up, came home and had to clean and make the bed etc ourselves, there was no apology from the staff or owner when we complained.
Bathroom very small, toilet very noisy, shower v slow
One restaurant was reccommended as being the only one open. This was incorrect. In the event our reservation was not passed on to the restaurant.
Friendly staff but we used it only as a base for travelling around the area. Lots of wine etc we could have tried but didn't have the time.
Clean and comfortable. Room rather small.
There werer too many things culturing up the place - I dont' mind old fashionedbut this was llike an antiqyue shop.
Quiet, comfortable room. Hotel well situated in the centre of the town close to shops and restaurant. Nice breakfast, good value at 7.5 Euro's. Bathroom could do with updating
Comfortable room, friendly, great location, everything worked. It was not obvious that reception is manned only during certain hours
the hotel staff were very helpfull.ideal stopover.
Simple comfort and reasonable breakfast
Clean and friendly staff. Rooms of a good size and comfy bed. Only minus was they charged for breakfast that we did not have. Did not notice until later and trying to get them to reimburse me now.
Easy to find Good car parking Quiet room good restaurant Nothing
Good location, parking and allowing our dog to stay was great. Staff very helpful.
The staff were helpful. The evening meal was of boil-in-the-bag quality, so I'd recommend eating elsewhere.
Convenient for our purpose in Chablis. Good clean accommodation at a fair price. Excellent breakfast. Very poor quality white wine considering hotel is in Chablis!
I was disappointed that I could not get an evening meal on site!!
It was convenient, nothing more really
Quiet, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. All round, a better than average travel hotel.
Relaxing very nice room and excellent dining roomwith lovely views.
Pleasant and trouble free. Please add directions to the web site, particularly when travelling with a GPS.
Good placement and very polite and friendly staff.
Lovely views from the hotel
Food was very good value. No English TV channel. eg News would do
We easily found the Hotel which was slightly out of the Town, a distinct advantage as it appeared to be suffering from the current French malise of depression. We found everything fine at the Hotel and the food was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful with no real restrictions. Nothing ran out. The area was good for exploring with possiblities in all directions, especially the wine... Minor problems only. The room was probably a bit small l think it was designated a disabled room but only for the use of one person. The two beds meant that we had very little room to move round in. Very little wardrope and cubboard space as well. The bathroom was fine with a walk in shower, as requested. The only problem being that the toilet was placed in the corner with exceedingly little leg room; l am a very large person and only just managed to use it comfortably. There was plenty of room to have moved it further away from the corner to give more room for people to use without too much trouble.
The restaurant was very good.
The kindness off the staff and help where it was needed.
If you are just looking for a clean, basic overnight stay then it is good. Not within walking distance of the town
