well-located for the money not really
next to vernisage strange process of register / checkout
no free wifi
Location is good, rooms are quite comfortable No Internet in the lobby, only expencive - and useless through room TV; the staff wasn't friendly; I was asked to pay for the mini-bar every day during my stay, etc.
Very large rooms with good facilities, big bathroom, bath etc. Very good value for money. Good location next to the metro. Not much to do in the area around the hotel.
No WI-Fi free
the most convenient is that the Hotel is only 50 meters from the Metro Station and in 15 minutes it is possible to reach the city center. Internet wireless and beakfast are very expensive for the level of the hotel. From the hotel staff, almost nobody speaks english at the hotel (I meet only one person whom speaks english).
The convenient location with many good, but expensive restaurents within walking distance. About a 20 - 25 minute walk to Red Square. Vey surly and unhelpful manner of security staff in lobby.
great central location, friendly staff, excellent size room which was always kept clean.
Please write at least 15 words Internet is extremly expensive and worst quality
The location is very good, the service given by hotel stuff at reception and bar is at a very low level, their side businesses with the taxi drivers and hookers cause them to misunderstand the core of their job Location
Clean, excellent wifi and very helpful staff. Good location central to Moscow Kremlin, shopping and excellent restaurants including those in the hotel.
When we come to Moscow we always stay in Golden Ring. We like the style, personal, facilities and Panorama restourant. Location is perfect, you can walk to Red Square along Old or New Arbat, to buy all souveniers, to walk to Museum, Jesus Christ The Saviour Cathedral, from other side you can cross the river and go shopping in Evropeisky Mall or take a cruise by Moscow River! Security system is very high because of Ministry of Foreign Affairs across the street and it feels very safe here.
The location is quite convenient and service in general is good Breakfast for Euro 33,00 is very expensive if you only want equivalent of Continental breakfast. Their was no airconditioning working and as I wanted fresh air that opened the window for me with special key.
Very good location, high service standard and the general air of luxury.
Good location, helpful concier, comfortable Lobby Porte-cochere, pedestrian approach to the front entrance, mattress was terrible, shower uncomfortable. My friend was given an occupied room.
Everything was excellent especially the restaurants. The breakfast was brilliant so much to select from. The Panoramic hotel was just amazing. The staff very helpful.Very good service. Sometimes we have a bit of difficulties on communicate with the staff but very limited
Great location, staff, view. It's quite. Staff is extremely friendly, nice and professional. Great gym and breakfast. A bit old.
Service, no matter what you ask, you get it in a 5 minutes. Breakfast was quite expensive (1300 rubles- 45 $ each ) we didn't take it. There are tons of cafes near the hotel where you can have a breakfast for two and it will cost max 1500 rubles. Restaurant is quite expensive dinner for 2 in average will cost 5000 ( 170$) but everywhere in good places in the City prices are the same. It is announced that hotel guests have 10 % discount but we upon our request we were told that there are no discounts, so it was a con. The key of the room should be put in from outside all the time so the heating could work, so get one extra electronic key and never take it off from inside. Heating is poor so ask for additional heater (they'll bring it in minute without any additional charge )
The hotel was clean and staff helpful, situated within 5 minute walk of metro station which is 5 stops from red square. price good compared with most other moscow hotels.
Clean, neat rooms. Charging for the extra 1 hour after the 12 o'clock check out is not really customer friendly at all.
Very nice hotel for the price, good service, english speaking staff, clean new rooms, modern looking of the buliding, conviniently located on the metro station, very easilly reachable from the center, located on the metro Partizanskaya. For 3start hotel, excellent, good value for money!
subway stop within 5 min walk, quite close to center - app. 5 station (15-20 min) to Red Square. Cleaness, facilities, comfort, safety - imho, actually correct 3-star hotel you can relay on, all recommends! there're nothing negative issues to note, except a little boring views from the windows at 10-th floor)
Quality/price ratio is good. Location is pretty nice. Nothing particular.
Nothing but the room cleaniness and lobby area. As mentioned above everything was bad except the room cleaniness & lobby area. Staff are very very very very very rude. They are not bothered about their guest. No hospitality at all maybe because I am Indian. But I felt they treated everyone the same as me. They have to learn from us the way we treat our valued guests in Dubai. We do not discriminate anybody we give our full 100%. Really sad that this Hotel is not fit for tourists.
I arrived during the night around 1 o'clock. They were restarting up their system and I only got the key to my room after 2...Had to get up very early and leave. Very unpleasant situation.
Good quality/price ratio. Location very close to metro station. Rooms small but comfortable and clean. Free wired internet in room (bring your ethernet cable!). Too many smokers in the lobby bar.
We enjoyed the comfort of our room for the fair price.
Good breakfast meny. Good transportaion posseblietys.Nice clean rooms. Good organsisation fo staff members.
Location , a couple yard far from Metro station Stuff some times are so rude, The breakfast was a disaster No tast with litte varaity , also the smoking smell in the Room was Unbelievable despite the fact I was asking for Non smokeing room ..and it's old fashion Hotel
Great value for the money. I was very surprised at the facility when I arrived. There were things to do even in the lobby. You are very close to Red Square, downtown, and other attractions. The staff was professional, the hotel was very neat, and the food was good. I would definitely stay there again. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The hotel is quite a ways from the airport. On Kayak it is advertised as having hotel shuttle service. This was very misleading as they did not and the cost is about $54 USD one way.
The Cosmos is a good value -- clean, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast for no extra charge; and location across from a subway station on a major subway line. Add to this a well-equipped fitness center (for which users pay extra), and the hotel is a bargain.
window view its were were dirty hotel with posho stuf
Very near to metro station For this money room should be better, room was renovated about 20 years back. TV was not working properly.
this hotel can be considered cheap for moscow..near metro station.. staff wasnt helpful at reception at all ..some didnt speak english..i had a problem about booking and had to solve it on my own ..people working in the reception didnt help at all as if it was my problem (after my comoleting the reservation from booking.com they claimed they didnt get the comfirmation from booking.com ..and i had to solve the issue on my own..the girl in the reception told me she knew english but when i asked her what the problem is she replied me in russian!!.. hotel room isnt so comfotable and its small..
I stayed in one of the renovated double/twin rooms... 1) It was bigger than expected. I was expecting a room like you would find in the average Western European hotel but what I got was something comparable to what we expect to see in the U.S. 2) The room was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels. 3) The complimentary (Russian style) breakfast buffet. 4) Across the street from the Metro. 5) Different variety of restaurants. 6) Money exchange offered better rates than the airport. 7) Convenient ATMs. 8) Better than most Russian hotels in cleanliness, quality, and cost. 1) The hotel uses there own exchange rate when converting dollars to rubles so I paid slightly more than quoted. 2) Besides the breakfast nothing is complimentary. 3) No iron in room... ironing service is extra $$. 4) No outside line on the phone... outside line is extra $$ and pre-pay. 5) No free WiFi in room... free Wifi in lobby area and some second floor restaurants and bars... Wifi in room costs $$$ (3 hours cost what I pay for monthly access at home). 6) Heat/Air Condition is pre-set and can only be changed by use of remote that was not left in my room. Must contact floor maid (if you speak Russian) or front desk to change the temperature to your liking. This usually takes more than one call or visit.
The location is perfect - not far from the metro station, good breakfast, nice view from the window. Although I've booked non-smoking room you could still smell the smoke.
But Cosmos was a great place to stay! Clean rooms, good breakfast in the morning, great location near the metro that makes sightseeing simple, and helpful (just very Russian) staff- don't expect constantly smiling faces, but everyone has enough English to communicate. My only complaint were the unsecured wifi networks, however the internet worked fairly well.
well heated room, comfortable in the winter time (1) I was given smoking room despite my booking clearly stated non smoking one. Neverthelles it was changed after some battle at the reception.(2) At the booking.com rate of the room was shown as 75 EUR, it was the sole reason for booking this hotel. The final price at the bill was in roubles, and when I recalculated back to EUR, the price was suddenly EUR 90. Be caucious in checking this before you book the room.(3) If you want to get stored your luggage for some time after check-out, be aware this is the paid service. (4) no hair dryer in the room (5) the hotel is a smoker paradise, even the non smoker room smelled. If you are allergic or you just want to have your clothes clean, avoid this hotel.(6) The hotel does not deserve 4 stars!
nothing special I stayed one week and left my lugage on friday morning because I was spending my week end in an other city. I had to pay for the luggage room which is not normal when you return to the hotel. The amount is ridiculous but the staff not very nice and you have to go up and down to pay and take your lugage
Excellent service, incredible staff, fantastic location.
breakfast (buffet and a la carte) was excellent staff was pleasant room a nice size pillows were wimpy room was warm (it was not warm outside), but we put on A/C bag checking at the security entrances was arbitrary - sometimes i'd get checked, other times not at all did not get a room with a good view
Location. Very close to historical centrum of Moscow. Extremly expencive. Poor menu in the restorant. Not very friendly staff.
The hotel has its charm for lovers of Bulgakov and of Russian artist Brubbel. Inside, it hasa mixture of modernist and soviet decoration. The location is excellent. It is 2 minutes away from the Red Square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, you would expect a bit of more luxury for 260 euros a night, breakfast not included. I guess you are paying the name and the superbe location.
Great location, in heart of moscow and red square. clean rooms, and friendly staff. needs refurb but old hotel Just not up to modern, contempary design and style compared with new 5 star hotels.
Fantastic luxurious hotel next to Kremlin with great staff. The king size bed is actually composed of two separate bed. Very uncomfortable. You also get two smaller covers as opposed to one large one.
I like enterier and spirt of hotel. Airconditing sistem work very poor.
Terrible Soviet style hotel that does not derve 5 stars. heavily overpriced for what you get knowing that Moscow hotels are normally expensive
The place is palatial with excellent service and right next to Red Square. The mattress could have been newer /better
Good location. 5 min from the heart of the city - Red Square, Kremlin, Big Theatre. The bed in the room was not comfortable. Internet connection was only at the lobby.
Concierge was very helpful. Bar and restaraunt staff OK, not great. I had a massage. The massage room was awful - very bright, very cold. No music, no ambience. Very sterile. And not a good massage either - way too physical, not relaxing.
Location and views! Bathroom a bit old but clean.
Close to kremlin All the members of the staff are very Kindly, quick response, also Security I have completed satisfactorily all of the service
The location is amazing and made the trip so much easier with our 10 month old. Breakfast dining room location was fantastic, overlooking the Kremlin. From the front door to the room and restaurant, the staff were very helpful.
Wonderful location across from Red Square and a five minute walk to the Bolshoi ballet. No business centre.
Service, from concierge assistance to room care was universally excellent. The doormen were efficient and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and location superior.
ideal setting for sightseeing, at walking distance from the Red Square and the Kremlin, excellent bedding, excellent breakfast, buffet style. the fact that the reception personnel tried upon our arrival to put us on obviously one of the worst rooms available in the hotel ( view on a high brick wall at a distance of about six meters from the window); we had to protest to be offered an other room, this one perfectly correct; impossibility to get the Wi-Fi connexion in principle available in the room. To be able to consult my emails, I had to go to the "business center", being charged at a outrageously high rate for the connexion. Finally, asking the information desk about the fair price of a taxi ride to airport, the only information I got was a recommendation to use a special car service at a outrageously high price (120 dollars!). I then managed by myself and paid 50 $.
Location is great for both business (close to Metro) and sight-seeing (Kremlin, Red Square etc). Free wifi in room and public areas. Sometimes service could be a bit slow, but it was always polite!
Free acces to the Internet, the hotel's staff was very polite
Very professional staff. Excellent accommodations.
Perfect location, beautiful building, very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurants on premises are top quality also.
location can't be beat breakfast with view of Kremlin history of hotel
Quality & cleaness room. Restaurant only smoking area
Excellent hotel very close to subway, good value for the quality. The facilities are also excellent and rooms are very comfortable and clean.
clean and nice hotel.
the sport facility at the jym which helps to maintain the necesairy business shape conditions the jym hospitality is low unfortunately
Excellent hotel and facilities, will stay again.
The location is the best. You get out of the metro station and it is right there across the street. The hotel is very nice and the room is excellent. Everything looks so updated.
Close to City Center. Near of Metro station No any printed information in room, what is main diiference for holiday inn chain in europe.
Staff are very efficient and friendly, and will do their utmost to answer any question. This is a very new hotel and of high standard, and rooms are excellent and very clean and modern. Free wireless internet works well. Metro is directly outside the hotel. Location is good for the eastern side of the city.
Very loudly air conditionning. Expensive breakfact for what you get.
Excellent location near the Sokolniki park. Pool and sauna were closed. Breakfast was overpriced for what you get.
Internet is very expensive
sauna, swimming pool were out of servise, breakfast was not included in the price, so the hotel doesn't deserve the money paid
The convienient location of the hotel first it has no swimming pool although in your site you were promoting the hotel with a swimming pool where there is no pool at all. also the jacuzzi was not working or it was canceled
Great Location if you want to visit the city center, also good for business, staff friendly and helpful, and Starbucks just in front of the Hotel healthclub facilities
the hotel is a standard smaller sheraton type, and services are at that level.
the room was clean, comfortable, quiet. Hotel has good location in the center. Very good for buesness people and for tourists.
very close to Metro, nice rooms, good price
Bad comunication ,The Hotel was under cunstructions what was not mentions. They debt additional my creditcard without my approval .
staff speaking English very well! to be honest, we were unlucky during the stay due to the forests were burning and Moscow was in hell pollution.the In Fact, hotel is far from the center, but close to Belorusskaya station 1 km. Hotel is a bite old, old furniture cored ore carpet smelly. We couldn't sleep at all due to maintenance was on 6th floor! drilling job starts from 9 am till 18:00!! also I couldn't believe it that hotel didn't extend check-out time even for 1 minute after 12:00 pm!!!!!! they ask for 500 RUB / hour.. adding to this, they charged me by mistake RUB 5,217 and it took 4 days to refund to card!!
The position of the hotel is very good! It's located next to the Belorusskaya trainstation and so the airport Sheremetyevo is good reachable in less than a hour!
It was close to the airport road, which saved time at departure It is a bit far to walk from the city center and I would prefer a hotel that is more central and easy to walk everywhere from
Rooms are to small or nad to big, anyways when you move from one side of the room to another there is no way not to harm yourself.
I had to wait for 20 min for the table for breakfast. It happened twice during 4 days.
Location close to Red Square, Shopping etc; large room, quiet (back yard) Nothing really but a slight lack of charme, too pricey even for Moscow
close to city center, nice room, good stuff, good breakfast. Broken TV.
spacius room, nice breakfast, gym, excellent location
the most important thing for me, was the possibility to reach very easily metro stations. this has given me the chance to have several business meeting in all Moscow, without using cars or taxies. Actually everything has been perfect. thanks a lot.
Very pleasant and quiet room. Very friendly staff. Very decent breakfast. Heavy smoking in the hotel lobby.
good location, close to red square and accessible to the funky restaurants and luxury shops with reasonable rate considering how expensive moscow hotels are. some of the staff were unwelcoming and displaying bad attitude towards us.
location, rooms very comfortable wifi 20$ per day, not professional stuff, not helpful at all
The cleanliness, the warm behaviour of the staff, the very good location one breath distance from major Moscow siteseeing in the city center and not only, the good breakfast, the good services of the executive launge. An executive room should be larger.
1. Warm and good staff 2. Food and ambiance at Restaurant
Breakfast buffet was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. TV is old. The porters at the front heavy door are practically non existent. They will not open the door for you if its rain or shine, and will not help you with your luggage. The so called security personnel, are the same way. The cleaning staff forgot to clean our room once, and we left early in the morning and returned late in the evening.
hotel ethnic style entrance
staff was very friendly
I have appreciated the staff service, their kind, gentle, nice behaviour. The man at the door during the afternoon hours is a real gentle and sensitive person (though he is supposed to be kind you see the real difference with his colleagues). The girls and guys in the breakfast room are lovely. The breakfast is also very good but what I have appreciated the most is the wide choice of films and music: perfect for having relax during a business trip. There is nothing negative that I could say.
After making my complaints the management met with me, and they did extend some compensation for my inconvenience. (It was more than I was expecting, but really didn't make up for my disappointment.) I do believe the new management will improve the training of the staff. ***The Pool/Spa staff and facilities were shining stars. They were courteous and welcoming. I spent two days relaxing in the pool and sauna. It isn't a real Hilton. Smiles and courtesy are hard to find. The concierge desk was the worst I've ever experienced. I literally felt sorry for asking for help. I literally tried to leave the hotel early because it was so humiliating. (Hilton's customer service didn't help in this matter either.)
Stayed at the hotel for its historic significance. Room service and food prices in general are ridiculously high, even when compared to their competitors.
Very noce, clean, stylish hotel right in the center of Moscow. Super friendly staff. Great room with very comfy bed. Loved it! Will definetely stay there on my next trip to Moscow.
Veldig bra hotell Nei
Fireplace in the lobby bar
friendly staff; excellent location; small and intime
Everything, the swimming pool, sauna, breakfast, rooms etc.And booking.com made a very good deal with the hotel. Otherwise sorry no savoy.
The location is very good. The size of the rooms are comfortable. The staff is not caring about the clients very much
Everybody speaks good English. Good hospitality. Kindly assisiting us for dinner and nightlife. Flexible for check-out in weekend.
Location was convenient Hotel is classic but tired, lacked a good breakfast, rooms need renovating, lobby is not welcoming, no spa, no massage was available, sauna was under repair.etc etc
The Hotel is very well maintained. The staff are generally excellent. The Buffet Breakfast is excellent. Some of the Restaurant staff were not adequately trained to deal with foreign guests. The kitchen appeared unable to vary the menu to accomodate special diets. No hotel in Moscow could be described as good value for money.
Very good proximity to the Metro. Walking distance to the biggest Mall in Moscow. Good restaurants close by. Good room, good staff. Overall - Rocking.
The staff were very helpful and suggested great places to visit. The hotel was centrally located and close to most of the places of interest and restaurants too.
I really liked the interior of the hotel, interior room, cosmetics for bath and body L'Occitan and also the swimming pool was rather good Hotel staff i think is the only problem of Savoy :( the dont know how to smile, and be polite with customers. Actually in Hyatt the best staff i've evere seen !!
The Hotel Location is very good near to the city When I stay in the Hotel everything good
Good location, close to Metro. 20 minutes walk to Red square. Helpful staff. Clean and quiet. Very good breakfast buffet. Room, internet and breakfast expensive (but I guess that’s normal for Moscow). It is a standard business hotel without much charm.
comfortable beds no usual extras in the room like water heater, tea, coffee, shoe polisher etc
Staff friendly and helpfull
Good restaurants with great views.
impolite and unqualified staff (stupid questions and wasting time during check-in and on breakfast reception).
Staff was excellent!
Everething was perfect!! Really luxury hotel!
Hotel allowed me to check in earlier and to check out later than the established rules require. Too many security guards around interrogating almost all guest, but maybe that's normal for Russia.
I use to go in Moscow twice a month and i stayed in all the 5 stars hotels. Royal is really outstanding in terms of quality and service. Really 100% deluxe hotel.
