Built in the 18th century and renovated in 1998, this Baroque residence in the heart of Vienna is located in a quiet neighbourhood and offers every guest the perfect environment for rest and relaxation or the ideal accommodation for a business trip. Offering spacious apartments, a kitchen and a laundry room, the famous Ringstrasse is within walking distance of this apartment hotel. It is close to the tram lines 37, 38, 40, 41 and 42, and to the underground lines U1 and U2. The university, the stock exchange, the Burgtheater and the State Opera are only a few minutes' walk away. St. Stephen's Cathedral, the museum quarter (Museumsquartier), Heldenplatz and the Spanish Riding School (Hofreitschule) are about a 10-minute walk away.
The apartment had a great location and a great size for the price. The location was very safe and great access to sites in town.
Nothing, the apartment was great and the price couldn't be beat.
We (couple, 45+42 years) liked it's location, comfort, value for money/ service, quitness.
everything was perfect
The location was perfect. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. Dishes were clean, beds were comfortable, has TV with international channels. It is at a very central but a very quiet place, very close to the ring and the city centre also to the main christmas market of the city. Although there was no reception, we didnt have any issues, we had the key on time, we had everything we needed in the room. Also very good value for money - definitely recommended!
good location, washing machine
The room is very dirty and dark. The oven did not work permanently. We can use just one of them.
This hotel was incredibly good value for money. It was very well-located and a short walk from tram stops and the schottentor U-bahn (2mins to he trams, 10 to the U). The apartment was clean and well-provisioned, with a kitchenette/living area, bedroom and bathroom. The washing machine was a nice surprise that we actually used quite a lot. Overall fantastic value and great service - the owner is very attentive if you call him, night or day. It was like a self-catering holiday flat rather than a hotel, which suited us perfectly. The staff are not always around, but always just a phone call away (phone in the room). Great location, great deal, friendly, attentive staff.
The bed was not so comfortable and the furniture in general was a bit dated. The bed linen was clean but the sheets were a 'bobbley' and not great quality. The internet went down a few times, but the owner was very helpful when we called about this (arranging for his 'computer guy' to come sort this out, at night!)
I liked having the little kitchen. And the bed was excellent.
Lots of noise across the courtyard. Echoes. Snoring. Room a bit "bare." Directions to closest grocery store incorrect.
Very quiet location, clean and very comfortable bed. Apt was cleaned every day by staff to a very high standard. Small breakfast was very tasty with hot bread and croissants which was a nice supplement to my fruit and cereal from nearby shop. The kitchenette was invaluable. Very conveniently located also in very nice part of Vienna (well there are so many nice parts to Vienna anyway!!) The room was lovely and cool during the hot weather - without the need for airconditioning. I think in general based on my expereince the other reviewers were over critical of the 3 star hotel. It was much better than I anticipated and I have stayed in a number of different hotels in Vienna at this stage. I would certainly stay again in the future.
Beyond the control of the hotel of course but little or no public car parking places available on the street. Although the hotel offered parking I felt it was a little too expensive. Luckily I was able to make alternative arrangements.
Perfectly situated. Quiert. Can be recomended.
very quiet place, good location, comfortable and roomy
not enough service
Very polite staff.
Poor breakfast, left on the ground in front of the door!!!!!
