Staff was very helpful. Room was well kept and clean. Location was good was able to walk to Opera house, visiting Belvedere Palace which was near and proximity to train station was very appealing. Not much
I only have nice things to say about this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and quite spacious (hotel has a sort of 60's modern retro vibe going--very stylish). My room looked out towards the Belvedere Palace. The people at the reception desk were very nice and efficient. The breakfast included with the room was excellent with all of the expected food items and more (hot and cold offerings). The only problem you might have is getting to the hotel if you're arriving via the subway. It's a good 15 minute walk from the nearest station (Karlsplatz or Rochuspark). This can be mitigated if you know how to navigate the street cars since they run by the hotel.
Central location near the city centre. Not full availability of services.
I would point on pictures with flowers. That's nice style.
design and cleanliness of my room nope
The rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast was very crowded and noisy with a very big group of far eastern visitors
The room was great, and we got a free upgrade to an executive room.
very kind staff, motto "Your smile is our job" Very bad covering of mobile phone operateur, few places in hotel have very poor signal.
The hotel was very well presented, quiet and good value for money, especially the Executive room we stayed in.
The hotel is elegant and it has a soul! The suite was excellent and the service was perfect.exelent. The heating in our suite was poor!! In the morning it was cold so we couldnt really enjoy our stay.
Newly renovated; large spaces; nice bar; calm and quiet
there was only one good thing. The location near sudbahnhof station. The staff was condescending. The rooms were excruciatingly small. There was no airconditioning. The superior rooms have nothing superior about them. The windows are jammed shut and one cannot breath of claustrophobia. Horrible.
Location across from Vienna Hauptbahnhof. Good desk staff. Nice lobby, nice breakfast. Good air conditioning. Kayak/ Get a Room advertise "Laundry Facilities' for this hotel. On arrival you are informed that this includes only an iron. There are NO laundry facilities and the hotel description needs to get real. The desk clerk came to our rescue by identifying a Laundromat about a 15 min walk away and open till 10pm. At first she refused to make change but then relented. In general, how primitive Europe remains when it comes to self-service laundry. In Japan EVERY hotel has a couple washers & driers. Bartender also refused to provide ice. Said he had none. Sure.
The booked room wasn't a 4 star room (it was dirty, spots from old furniture remained on walls, old furniture, not plesant smell inside, selenar view on window, like a tranzit room near hotel stairs). We found the cleaning stuff and we could analyzed 3 similar standard room and all had better conditions (cleaner, more space, normal smell). We have discussed that problem with the stuff, we asked them to change the room to a similar one but, only after 2 days, we was ables to change the room (paying a difference charge) to a superior one (that was relativly ok - it could be categorized as 4 stars: cleaner, warmer, with city-view on window). The buffet breakfast could be more diversified regarding the category of hotel (4 stars).
Nominal level of comfort, but absolutely sufficient. Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast with quite a rich menu. Cleaning regular and discrete.
The location. Quite close to Vienna centre -25min by foot, 5min by metro. 10min walk to train station from where you can go to Vienna airport. Also the hotel is very close to Vienna internal highway so you can travel to the hotel by car and not being stuck in traffic jam. 10 EURO for the hour access to the internet and 17EURO for a day – this is very big disadvantage.
We liked how close this was tot he train statin . it was one stop on OBB from the airport and a block from the U1 to the city. Lots of construction in the area made it a little hard to get to it. but once we learned the location of the hotel we could navigate through it easily.
Clean, big and quiet room, very delicious breakfast , No private parking in hotel, but parking places around hotel aren't free all the time.
Smallest hotel room I've ever been in. Fortunately, it was adequate for a short-term layover.
The location The price
breakfast and price location
The Hotel is new, very stylish, with modern decoration, exactly how we like. The Breakfast is expensive, but excellent. Easy access to Garage. The Toiletries. We did not get any Shampoo the 1st night, got 1 Shampoo the 2nd night, no lotion the 2nd night, and we had to ask for Toilet paper and our Body soap was over.
The Check-in staff were very polite, helpful and efficient. The hotel was immaculately clean and breakfasts were a delight. My room had everything I needed and was of a high standard at a reasonable cost.
room furniture and size no one help with laggage
Modern design, clean rooms, good food...and a surprise: it happened to be my birthday during my staying so the hotel wished Happy Birthday to me through a nice letter and a delicious cake :-)
good location, nice atmosphere extra charge for the WIFI, extra chrge for the garage, wrong photo of the room on the website attached to the price
It was close to the tram and train stations, and you could move easily everywhere. The room was good size. The room was never clean, they only did the bed. They didn't clean anything else. They take all the money upfront as a deposit.
Location to Metro and cbd
Location was great. Walking distance from the train station where S-bahn running from the airport stops. Also only 2-3 tram stops from the Old town. You could also walk instead of taking the tram. 15 minutes of walking will get you to most of the sightseeing places. Rooms were modern and nice, so were the sauna and the fitness center. Overall, apart from couple of small issues i will mention below, I can definitely recommend this hotel. absolute value for money. They put a block on my credit card for 750 euros while my total cost stay would be around 470 and I specifically mentioned when I was checking in that I would be paying in cash while checking out. They should have warned about this in advance because I've done quite a bit of shopping in Vienna but couldnt buy some of the things I intended to because my credit card limit was full due to the 750 euros block. Room service could be better as how they cleaned the room was a bit below standards compared to similar price level hotels that I've stayed around Europe before. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt spotless either. Pillows on the bed were uncomfortable and there were only a some English channels on TV--and they were all news channels--not enough
Nice place, well located No bathroom door! Even in a suite with 3 beds. What a horrid design! Inappropriate for older children or anything but couples.
very quiet rooms very little sun light in the extra sitting area
While the hotel was not in the center of the tourist sites, it was great to be in another part of Vienna and experience an urban themed hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and upbeat experience.
Friendly staff, loved the quirky decor both in our room and the public spaces.Restaurant was quite good for casual dining. Not a thing!
The great urban ambience, the beds are very comfortable, the friendliness of the staff and the good food.
The hotel rooms are very nice and are a good size. There was a nice outside sitting area and they had piano music in the lobby two of the nights we were there. My children especially enjoyed the indoor pool. The hotel was a good 10-15 minute walk from the main tourist areas. It wasn't a big problem but it would have been nicer to be a bit closer to the center.
Friendly staff. Business room was rather big and comfortable, even though a bit old-fashioned. Free access to internet and Business Lounge with snacks all day long.
I booked on the basis of special rates offered, plus comments from other reviewers which were mostly very good. The Club package was excellent with a junior suite for my 2 + 2 family (extra bed was no charge), access to Club lounge with free breakfast, evening snacks (good as dinner) and drinks was perfect. Great value, plus easy tram access to centre which was still walkable
We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel as had expected a lot less less for the price! It was nicely tucked away from the main centre of Vienna yet only 15-20 minutes pleasant walk. The atmosphere was welcoming and our room was a great size, well decorated, clean (and with some of the most comfortable beds we have experienced in a hotel)!
Complementary lounge, good size room, comfortable large bed
Staff were pleasant and helpful without exception. Hotel and our room were pleasant to return to after a long day out. Facilities of executive lounge were excellent. Swimming pool open from early morning until very late evening - an excellent facility.
We upgraded to an Imperial Club room - access to the lounge and the room itself were the best parts Initial room was very much not of 4 or 5 star standard - very old/dated and felt dirty
Nice, friendly, stylish atmosphere, close to city center and sight seeing. Nice room. Good breakfast (on the expensive side in comparison with other similar hotels in Vienna). We went to the sauna. This was somewhat shocking. Not only was it very small for the price of 7 Euro asked but the showers were completely open, in front a couple of men were sitting watching the women in the shower. Also, in the very narrow sauna cabin there were local men disputing loudly about whatsoever. Nothing of a true sauna atmosphere and leaving a very bad feeling, if for this the hotel asks extra fee. You need to do something about this because this is in complete contrast to the high quality the hotel offers otherwise.
Our stay was amazing. We thouroughly enjoyed the VIP lounge and the food. The location was just outside the main town and was within close walking distance to everything and the public transportation was right near the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The bathroom was a little outdated and not as nice as the rest of the room and hotel. The toilet had a smell and didn't flush properly.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Bar was expensive but nice. Room we ordered wasn't given on arrival & when we complained that we had 2 single beds for a romantic weekend it was sorry but tough. Also the specification said seperate bath & shower - not true, staff were very reserved and bar staff hard to find. Wine excepionally expensive. No shuttle bus to airport like most hotels offer, no info given freely had to prise it out of staff. Hotel a bit far to walk to main markets/city center. no coffee machine or bathrobes unless requested.
Spacious room and bath room, very clean and well serviced each day. Beds very comfortable. Very little street noise, good sound insulation. Location within 15mins walk to city centre. Did not have breakfast in hotel, used cafes/coffee bars very close by. Reception staff friendly and helpfull.
Good location for my needs. But there is not much reharding what I liked best. It fulfilled its purpose which was business travel.
huge room, very nice location is a bit far
great huge room, good price, wellness included
Very clean, staff were very helpful, and the hotel is in a great location.
Everthing was good. Especially Hakan from the reception is a great guy and was very helpful. The breakfast was way too expensive according to what is served.
Location No parking provided, no transport to the airport, you have to pay for it, no information provided regarding this. Also you have to pay for taxes not included in the fare. The bed is two joined beds, very uncomfortable.Breakfast not included.
Great location in the center of Vienna. Nice clean room and a very good breakfast included in the package. The final price for the room was much higher than I expected. The advertised room rates should include taxes (which are substantial).
comfort, staff, breakfast, location
location complete lack of service; message left for us on Sunday morning (phone number) was not delivered (check outo n Monday morning); when asked about this, the Reception staff stated that they were not on duty the pervious day (?!?!)
I don't have any complaint about my stay - the room was huge and very clean. The staff was always helpful. I didn't like the fact that wireless internet was promoted to be free and available in the rooms and it was actually only free at the lobby area...
The location of the hotel is perfect as you can reach almost everything in short time. The staff did the service in a pleasant manner and with good attitude. All the time we felt like being at home. We cannot recall anything that we did not like...
The Attache suit was incredibly quiet, large, spotless clean, the design is wery nice, wery confortable beds. Garage in the basement! This was our second stay in Pakat suites and we will come again. Some minor points: Perhaps a little far from the centre, but the tram is not far away. It takes 4 stops to the Opera. No tee/coffee machine.
Location of the hotel in addition the friendly staff In your site is mentioned that the use of the mini bar is free, but this is only for the first time and after Refuel it any use will be added the value of the beverages for the final bill
Very comfortable and spaceous room at a reasonable price. Great bed and quiet. Short walk to public transportation. No wireless WIFI.
Towels are used up; of yellowish coulour and seem as not to be clean at all
it was near the center close to belveder palace ,was very clean ,the staff helps us for all our question, there was't kitchen;no possibility to electric kettle
hotel personnel was nice, average design hotel. we got free upgrade to better room. definitely not a 5 star hotel, there was no staff for parking the car, taking the luggages to the room. breakfast is average 4 star quality, wine list is kind of short. room did not feel cosy at all.
Nice, spacious room with a nice balcony Missing water boiler, coffee and tea
Nice, clean, friendly staff.
The advantage of this hotel is the very very helpful receptionists, the cosy rooms, the cleanliness of them and its location that allows you to go for sightseeing and shopping in a few minutes.
Excellent modern apartment hotel, ideal for business travellers on a short or medium stay. Good location near to city centre. Fully recommended
2-3 min walk to the metro. extremely noisy bathroom ventilation, heavy air in the room despite new furniture, easy access by metro but the area itself is not particularly a nice one.
Good location, 50m from metro station (line 1). Clean, warm and comfortable room. Reliable internet access (wifi, ethernet). Very helpful and beautiful lamp/map. Expensive breakfast (15 Euro). Some of the reception staff were not so helpful. Lack of soundproof between rooms.
The room was a bit more spacious than Ibis and ETap hotels. The included hair dyer in the bathroom was a plus. We would have loved to have had a coffee/tea maker in our room but none was provided. Also, there were no English -language TV channels, such as CNN, BBC, or 24.
brand new spacious room furbished with taste, very comfortable beds
The staff were so helpful to me in learning how to navigate the city. The onsite parking facilities were convenient, the breakfast was good, and the location for sight-seeing was perfect.
Our room was very quiet and extremely clean. Wifi was free and never had any problems with it. Breakfast was wonderful and atmosphere was very relaxed with friendly staff. Location was 1/2 a block from the subway which was so convenient for taking the U1 straight to the downtown attractions. St. Stephen's Cathedral is a must visit!!! Nothing!
friendly staff, big clean room...
I did not like anything - the reception was not polite at all. They charged us for business plus double but we god business double - connecting room - be careful if choosing this hotel as you may end up listening other people in the night instead of having a good night sleep.e Be aware of the rooms - they are very small. The staff is not polite at all - they even tried to give me the wrong room - they succeeded for one night but the next after a while they gave me the right room and offered to give 5 eur back - while the difference is 20 eur.
It does not have a bar on the hotel premises.
Location, friendly staff, clean rooms, close to u-bahn
breakfast was well worth the price. no tea/coffee facilities in the room - a failing in a lot of european hotels unfortunately
No air conditioning
The staff were kind and pleasent.
the view fro the 5th floor, the neighbourhood, the friendly receptionists
The aircon in the foyer. The staff. The rooms were comfortable. The quiet street outside the hotel. Lack of aircon during 'hitzewelle'
friendly helpful staff and good location leaking faucets and broken toilet flush button
no cot or high chair available for baby shower room was very smelly
The hotel is in a quiet area at a walking distance from downtown
It is well located, in a quiet street, near the embassies and the beautiful Belvedere and Karl Platz. It was overheated. We turned all the radiators off and tried to lower temperature with the air conditioning system but this didn't work.
Nice clean place. Very attractive price for a room within only 10min walk from Karlsplatz and 5min walk from Belvedere.
Breakfast, location For Four days every use of the lavatory hot (boiling) Water was flushing the toilet ... promissed to be fixed, but wasn't!? Imagine the smell in the bathroom!!! Room 22.
We liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Only one slight thing, according to advertisement there was supposed to be a sitting area in the room but there was just one chair at a writing desk( which I might say was excellent) in a twin room.
The proximity to the tram for the sights and train station, also the market and pharmacy. The Penny market chocolate bars are cheap and excellent. Great breakfasts, quiet and clean. Elevator handy if you have luggage. I am probably the only one who got confused about the locks and how to unlock them.
Hotel Pension Bosch was charming, clean, homey, and welcoming. The mother and daughter who manage it were very hospitable. They went out of their way to help us with transportation and also accommodated my partner's dietary restrictions (he is vegan).
Homey. Atmosheric. A little bit shabby.
I have liked the quick check-in, clean room and proximity to the metro station. It was what I needed for just a one night stay - close both to the airport (one should change train just once to get there) and to the centre of Vienna (two metro stops to Staatsoper). All was good.
Accessability of trains. The price was within our budget. The staff were all very friendly. The room was very small and there was not a rail for the towels. The shower did not have a holder for the soap or sjampoo. The internet service was supplied, but I had to go and work in the lobby.
Price and location No local facilities (bars, restaurants etc. that staff could recommend)
Very nice hotel staff and excellent location
I like the breakfast. And the location is very centern. Blankett and the pillow was uncomfortable.
Very close to U-bahn and train station. Good price compared to other hotels There was traffic noise but it was not too bad on the 5th floor. The single room was very small, very large people may want to book a double room.
Great location and great breakfast
The hotel is good located, very close to the Subway station and few stations away from the city center, helping also if you travell by train. Nice decoration in the room, good breakfast. The luggage room was unattended. Also the sink was a little plugged but no serious problem with it.
size of room, breakfast cleanliness of bathroom ( shower was broken) missing remote control for TV
Clean room @ good breakfast
Excellent mattress, very good breakfast buffet, clean bathrooms with excellent soap, staff was prompt and polite Lousy looking rooms (like an old school dorm feel), ceiling plaster had fallen off in a couple of places, garage charged 15Euro/day when private parking was available for 4 euros up the street, , no bar, no service in rooms (for 4* it ranks badly), not in the center it's a leisurely 15- 20min walk (not 5min ), couldn't even extend my stay at the front desk but had to do it through the net (again) because they wouldn't give me same rate, no internet in room, television was the 12" from 1980s and no air conditioning (gets hot in the summer).
politeness of the concierge
Location is good. Dont go there.
It's nice hotel, the price for the offer was ok, staff was kind and helpful, I like that has it's own garage; however I don't think this is a 4 star hotel (small bathroom etc).
Nice location. Expensive parking. Helpful staff.
Friendly, comfortable and clean... While check-out process...
ease of transportaqtion extremely hot room
The coffee that is served and the politeness of the workers Internet is almost free in everywhere but somehow it is 3 euros for 30 min. I really didn't understand that, though it is a 4 star hotel even mcdonald's have a free wifi...
The in-suite room (with everything at hand what's needed) was spacious, quite, isolated, and close both to the city centre and to public transport... services & people working there...
The Location was excellent. Only 20 minutes from airport direct train. Accommodation very close to train and tram stations.Big rooms not enough facilities. We stayed for one week and the room was not cleaned in that time. No clean sheets or towels. Should have been done at least twice. Not enough facilities in kitchen and there was no safe in room as stated on the website.
Big double bed, comfortable sofa, new technics Fix your creditcard paying system. Only cash accepted :(
It was OK. There are apartments in a block of flats, but the apartment has everything you need, kitchen is fully equipped, hairdryer, bathtub, TV with cable, wireless internet and it ever has an iron. It was clean. We stayed 3 days, and the room was supplied with toiletries and towels. The apartments exterior was renovated, so there was no "view" from the window and new windows should be installed, the noise from the street was pretty loud. We were sound sleepers, but other people will find it very disturbing.
Close to Belvedere. Only a train from the airport to hotel and the station was very close. Also, the hotel is close to a tram station for the city center. For five days nobody cleaned. No surprise thinking that the manager meet us in the first day hiding the crumbs on the desk with the Viena map. A stinking manager. Check out at 12.00? Wrong. At 11.20 the manager rush at the room, withaout knocking, with his key and the maid, proceeding to clean. But I think that the little nazi is a perverse voyeur. It is not wireless internet free of charge and he didn’t want to give some money back for missing internet. A stingy man. The building is ugly and noisy. In may is well but in the summer it has to be terrible warm because of the Pizzeria San Marino of the ground floor. Avoid the place with his little old nazi manager.
Situation. very clean. confortable. the Kitchen has basic utensilles
Comfortness. Sound from the main road.
This was the second place I stayed in Vienna and it was wonderful! It has charm and personality and all the comforts you would need! I would have been happy to have had this be the only place I stayed in the city. It is steps from the Belvedere and a 20 minute walk to the City Center. Breakfast is very delicious and a traditional Vienna breakfast. The bed was so comfy, the decorations are sumptuous and beautiful. The hosts are amazing and kind. I adored them! This is a place where you can feel like you are really staying in Vienna. A place where you feel like you are staying with relatives, but without all the family obligations! I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed!
