Pros: Very clean and comfortable! Had a great nights sleep! Awesome breakfast made by David, especially the coffee! Thank you both for sharing your home! Hope to see you in the US someday!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were wonderful. Very attentive and spoke English. The accommodation is modern and clean but retains elements of the original building. It's set in a large garden and had storage for our bicycles. Only a couple of minutes walk from restaurants and the bus stop to Mont St Michel. Excellent place to stay for a couple of nights, or longer.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, in a quiet little town just a short time drive to Mont Saint Michel. Good breakfast and room was clean and comfortable. McDonald’s nearby if you arrive late.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the location, the comfortable bed, the location, everything was fine
Cons: can't think of amything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great since it's within a 5 minute walk to the train station and the B&B is very tasteful and attractive. They let us store our bags with them until the room was ready. We were also very impressed with the breakfast spread - croissants, pan au chocolate, bread and cheese, cereal, yogurt with fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. The couple who own Mont B and B were extremely helpful with giving us the latest schedules and recommendations for restaurants and speak perfect English. Also, if you miss the shuttle bus to Mount St. Michel, they will take you there for just 10 euros. The outside garden is also a marvel and is a testimony to the love that the owners have put into their B and B. Our room was well lit and had a big window looking out onto the garden. We wish that we had booked another night just to relax and enjoy the garden. Great feng shui!
Cons: We actually really liked everything and that's unusual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming and comfortable place. Within easy cycling distance of Mont St Michel. Great breakfast and nice garden to relax in. The owners are a lovely couple. This is a great option for the area. A lot of nearby places are very overpriced and not as nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sue and David were extremely helpful with excellent tips for exploring Mont-St-Michel, restaurant suggestions for Pontorson, and prepared an EXCELLENT breakfast. We would highly recommend Mont B&B for its comfort and cleanliness, garden/patio, location (proximity to Mont-St Michel), cute/personal feel, the breakfast, the value, and the incredibly welcoming hosts.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is just the perfect place. Beautiful B and B, renovated to a high standard by the wonderful owners. The garden has plenty of seating areas for chilling out in the tranquille surroundings. No noise, peaceful with bird song. Breakfast was a lovely French buffet with home made food too. This is the perfect location for touring. Close to Mont Saint Michel and the Bretagne town of Saint Malo is less than 1 hour. Both are stunning! As we said to the owners, we will be back next year for a longer visit! Merci pour toute.
Cons: No issues
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts- welcoming and friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the property were very kind and the level of hospitality was beyond our expectactions. The hotel and room themselves were very clean. The location was also very conveninent as it was next to the main street. The breakfast was delicious too, especially the Pain au Chocolat’s!
Cons: The shower didn’t drain water fast enough and pooled up a little, but it wasn’t a huge problem as there were more than enough towels. Also, it would been better to have a seperate shampoo and body wash instead of a one liquid for all solution.

Pros: Veronique was an amazing hostess. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, providing us with a thorough orientation to the area and suggestions about how to make the most of our time there. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and homey. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner on our night there was a picnic on the building's grounds looking out over a beautiful meadow at Mt. Saint Michelle in the distance. Just beautiful. Great for our family of four.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is THE PLACE to stay when coming to Mont Saint Michel. Thanks so much and we will be coming back often.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Veronique was professional, attentive and friendly from the minute we went through the gate. The location is really good - very close to the shuttle bus taking people to the Mont-St-Michel, but without the hustle and bustle of people, which the other hotels close by seem to have. It's also an easy, flat walk (about 2.5 kms but easy to do) if you decide you want to walk. Veronique is obviously passionate about her business and provides great information about the Mont eg best times and places to eat. The breakfast she provides is an extensive (and lovingly prepared) contintenal breakfasts. If we returned to the Mont, she'd be the place we'd choose to stay.
Cons: Not a dislike, but our GPS had difficulty finding the location - persist though, it's well worth it!

Pros: Hospitality and cleanliness
Cons: Breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very nice and forthcoming. We were positively surprised by the bed comfort and our kids just adored the pool and the garden.
Cons: The place hosts two families on the second floor (owners live on the first floor) and we felt this was too crammed. The lounge area on the second floor was shared and if one family has taken it, the other has to stay in the room where there's really not a lot of space besides the beds. (one can go outside, if the weather is good, though).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. An enjoyable short stay for the family
8.8 Excellent

Pros: Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights, the hosts (Thierry and Cathy) took the time to advise us every day about the region, lend us their bikes and even made the (already delicious) breakfast slightly different every day. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, wonderful garden. The rooms were extremely comfortable, very tastefully decorated and immaculate. Breakfast was made with top quality, natural products. The house was easy to find and in an idyllic location, very convenient for the Mont Sant Michel visit and as a base for Normandy and Northeast Bretagne. Thank you Henri and Ruth for an outstanding stay.
Cons: Pillows were a bit too flat for my taste.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I could mention how comfy, cute and clean Henry's place is. I could even talk about the location and how convenient it is: so close to Mont Saint Michel, and also far enough to enjoy quietness at countryside. But that's what you'd see in a standard good review and I believe something more must be said... I spent only two days there and it was very little time! Why? Pleasant and witty conversation (mostly during breakfast served with the delicious handmade jelly and yogurt). Simplicity, generosity, kindness, wisdom... A place full of heart and soul. A nutshell. This is what really matters and why I highly recommend Ferme de la Baie. Thank you so much Henry!!! We hope to come back soon!
Cons: I do not have any complaints, quite the contrary.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: peaceful countryside, clean rooms, great breakfast and excellent host !!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very attentive and always had great bread and baguettes ready, when we came down in the morning. We were allowed to use their refrigerator and freezer to store food, as well as their computer to transfer photos from a card to a USB stick.
Cons: The doors in the room were squeaky but a little oil will fix it, quickly. I rated the restaurants "near" the property low, but we did eat at one in Pontorson, which was quite good...it's just not as "near" to Chambres d'Hôtes Ferme de la Baie, as the two others we tried, which were each within 5-10 minutes driving distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Henry was a brilliant host. He gave us excellent tips on things to do in the area and gave us assistance when we had trouble with our hire car. The house is beautiful and you get an amazing breakfast each day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We chose this property for its proximity to Mont St. Michele, and also the historic look of the building. We were totally satisfied with all aspects of our stay. We had a spacious twin room with an updated bathroom. A delicious breakfast was served in the kitchen, and included fresh croissants and homemade yogurt and jams, and fruit from the garden. The hosts were interesting to speak with, and also invited to use the kitchen whenever we wished, which we did for an evening picnic meal. It was an easy trip for sightseeing, and we received some good tips on timing from the host.

Pros: The hostess (Marianne) is exceptionally welcoming and was very helpful and friendly throughout my short stay (2 nights). It was a pleasure to have breakfast with other guests (optional) and the hostess and the location is ideal for visiting Mont St. Michel, the Normandy coast and even into Brittany. Good restaurants are 2km up the road.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: What amazing stay we had !!! Marianne and Roy are special hosts, the property are very pleasant and well maintained. The bike running around the area was wonderful, we could reach the Mont-St-Michel and others touristic points easily. We hope to be back in the near future ... there are more to see, St-Malo and more. Thanks Marianne!!!

Pros: It was our best stay in France in a very cozy "princess" bedroom for three. Many thanks to the host Marianne for her care, politeness and wonderful breakfast. Hospitality and comfort feels in each detail :)

Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful. I had a very nice time. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
Cons: This is just a small suggestion that maybe you can teach foreigners how to unlock the entrance door as I was locked out of the house when no one was home. It was raining and cold on the second day after my bike ride back to Le Mont, St Michel. I didn't know how to unlock the door properly as our house keys work differently in New Zealand. I waited at the train station for 2 hours in the cold underneath the shelter and suffered minor hyperthermia. This was mostly my fault, of course, but a tutorial on unlocking old French doors would have been nice.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The place is charming. The location is excellent. The breakfast is delicious.
Cons: Up on the top floor, the ceiling is a little low.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome. The property was very clean with plenty of facilities for guests. The guests lounge/dining room was very handy and it good to be able to make oneself a cup of tea or coffee. There was a covered swimming pool and areas for guests to sit in the garden.
Cons: Can't think of anything

Pros: Very helpful hosts.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and good breakfast.
Cons: The stairs up two floor.
7.0 Good
Pros: NIce breakfast. We booked two rooms for our family of four. It's important to note that EVERY room is unique. All the rooms I saw were quite small, but each had a different character and arrangement. The kids really liked their room. My daughter loved the window seat to sit and read. She was also in love with the semi-canopy over the bed. In the kids' room, the bathroom was separated by a wall and door from the bedroom. Both the toilet and the shower were in this separate area which was nice because it kept smells and the steam from the shower out of the bedroom. The kids found the room very comfortable and one of their favorites on the trip :).
Cons: As I mentioned, each room is unique and we had two rooms. I was not fond of our room. We had the gold and black room. The shower is literally IN the bedroom so the steam from the shower fills up the bedroom. The toilet is separated from the room by an accordion door. I understand that they were trying to provide the luxury of having a private shower and toilet in your room, but it was really awkward and tight. I don't know if it was just during the time we were there, but sewer gas smells kept coming in from the toilet/shower. Since the manager had limited English and we were only there one night I decided to not mention it and instead covered the smells with essential oils I had brought (thank goodness!). Not the most comfortable stay for me and my husband :(.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house, the room, the yard, the retro style decoration, the dinning, the owners. The breakfast very good. All was wonderful!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent - only a short walk from the town, with free parking close by, and its restaurants and activities. We were there while a fete of music was occurring and enjoyed a late night stroll. Our young host family were delightful and very helpful. We liked the tea and coffee which was always available in the lounge, and the informality was very restful. Our room had a four poster bed and was most comfortable.
Cons: No complaints !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and a nice quiet location.
Cons: Rubberized under sheet on the bed which becomes ubearably hot during the night
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was close to Le Mont St Michel, within walking distance to the main street of Pontosoron and restaurants. Parking was readily available daily. Breakfast was good each morning and coffee fresh. The couple running the B&B were very limited in the English language as we are in French but they worked well to meet all our needs, expectations and answer questions. Superb customer service and friendliness. A pool is available as well which was a nice surprise.
Cons: NA - all was positive.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was charming at the large shared table in friendly atmosphere : plenty of bread, different kind of jam, home made crepes of superior quality. The room was spacious. Bathroom was good equipped. Easy communication with owner. And you can pay with "chèque vacances"! Good private parking. Close to Mont Saint Michel but not too close to be over expensive. Large territory could be good for long term staying with children.
Cons: Room is absolutely not soundproof. Pay attention that you have to climb to the 2 floor by narrow stairs to get to you room. By default you have to check-in in the certain window of time, but it could be flexible deal. Probably it would be not so easy without car to get there.

Cons: Nothing could have been better.

Pros: The owner was so welcoming, she spent time with us over a gorgeous breakfast to talk along with other visitors. The room was immaculate and very private. All in all a lovely lady.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: On arriving we were made very welcome, were shown to our lovely room, exquisitely appointed, and so comfortable. The accommodation is a work of art, historical pieces of furniture and artifacts beautifully placed, making a gracious whole. Truly amazing. The clematis in the front garden was in full bloom, a riot of pink all round the edge, indoors a great display of orchids. And breakfast presented perfectly, another work of art. with more than enough to set yourself up for the day. Everywhere SO clean, a credit to Pontorson, should be classed 5 star.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If anyone can find me a better breakfast in France I would love to hear where.pretty room amazing garden wonderful hosts Good restaurants near by easy to find and not far from Saint st mont michel. Sadly we were so comfortable that we overslept by an hour!
Cons: Nothing but our lack of French was an embarrassment but the tablet and free translation helped considerably
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable and with a real attention to detail. The owners are attentive and work hard to make the stay as good as it can be.

Pros: Very good matress, very good breakfast. Handy location to train and bus for Mont St. Michel. Pontorson is well equipped with a Carrefour, Lidl and McDonalds all in walking distance.
Cons: Only able to check in between 6-9 pm, whereas the owners live on the property and there are only 2 rooms to attend to. Train from Caen arrives at 14.45. Bathroom including toilet is inside the room with a screen divider. One does expect some more privacy for that price. No desk in the room to work at privately. Could use table in lounge downstairs. coffee and tea upon arrival in room, no refill for second night. Only French spoken. Breakfast only from 8- 9.30 am, no exception when you have to leave early.

Cons: Everything was perfect; can’t think of a thing I’d change!

Pros: The owner was very pleasant and spoke excellent English. The owner also told us all about the history of the chateau and recommended places to eat. The room was amazing and we had a fabulous stay. Lovely home made crepes for breakfast too.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a very unusual and a very interesting, and a very charming place. It is really a stately home, rather than a small castle or palace. It is a very much lived-in grand country manor, so not at all pretentious in spite of its outward grandeur - a family home. But the grandure is certainly here. The site is a fantastic world class Italianate topiary garden with a terrific view on one side, and a dignified courtyard on the other. Suptuous comfortable public rooms, formal dining/breakfast room, very grand bedrooms, nice big baths. Charming friendly host and hostes. Awesome outdoor swimming pool Visiting Brittany is not complete without staying at this welcoming amazing place. Worth every penny !!
Cons: Nothing

9.5 Excellent
Pros: We spent one night in this hotel on our way to Mont-Saint-Michel. We asked for two quiet rooms and got rooms in the back on the second floor which were extremely quiet. The rooms, one triple and one double, were comfortable and very clean with modern bathrooms. The hotel is authentic and has a lot of character (beautiful old wood stairs). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a very nice buffet with many different kinds of things (fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, eggs, croissants, baguette, etc.). We strongly recommend this hotel and would be very happy to come back.
