The air conditioning had been switched on in advance of our arrival - heaven! The staff were also extremely helpful and polite.
excellent room. easy to find. friendly staff, even though i dont speak Italian.suprised by swimming pool complex!! couldnt work out air conditioning. the buffet breakfast was empty.
The quality of the hotel 1 noise made by the street to close 2 the swimming pool closed at 6.30 pm even for the customers of the hotel
Receptionist friendly and very helpful and spoke English well. Swimming pool was great the kids enjoyed it immensely. Cleaning crew forgot to leave shampoo and soap once so we had to ask for more at front desk and they quickly provided some for us.
Great location, helpful and friendly staff with very good restaurant nearby.
The ratio price/quality is excellent; the hotel is good organised, the rooms are in good cleaning shape. We will come again
The room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was fine and convenient for our family of young children. This hotel's selling point is the pool, however, the first day we were there they closed it which really was frustrating as we choose this hotel because of the pool. Also, the room was a bit small for the price.
We are group of pilgrims.Room and bathroom very nice and clin.Dinner and breakfast exelent.Staff very caindl.
In my case it is close to the job, but far from the town. Too much noise on the corridor, specially the staff.
Staff are friendly, restaurant is lovely, clean and comfortable rooms - we ended up booking another night... We were offered to be brought complimentary coffee's as we had missed breakfast and ended up being charged for the coffee's plus a room service fee!!!
First of all the booking was not registrated at the hotel so they were not expecting us and did not seem to appreciate another guest (even though it was plenty of rooms.) Other bookings for the same trip went well so I am not sure whether it was the booking system failing or the hotel handling the booking.
The hotel staff are wonderful: polite, helpful, professional and anticipate your needs! The hotel is well maintained and the rooms and restaurant are extremely comfortable, modern and clean. I cannot fault this hotel; I recommend it unreservedly!
The superb quality and value of the accommodation, and the outstanding breakfast. Nothing.
Service was very good. The restaurant staff was very attentive. The door knob came off in our hands. Rm 123
The modern decor crafted into an old building, the enjoyable restaurant (menu and service). We visited the Museo della Cavalleria and the hotel staff were helpful in giving directions. Private parking
nothing much Air-con in room ineffective - really uncomfortable night. Room fridge not cleared out. Bathroom extractor fan inoperative.
It is an excellent value for money hotel. It is mainly a conference/business hotel, and did not really cater for families. There is an evening meal available but no childrens menu. There is no public transport between the hotel and anywhere else. The nearest bus is about 1 or km away at the hospital, walking on the road as there is little in the way of pedestrian walk ways.
Good value for money Internet wasn't working
Nice little business hotel, far from Turin, but good choice if one is traveling by car.
Above average for a 3 star hotel and very clean.
Easy acess, free parking Restaurant was closed
Staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was a bit hard, but I slept well. 24/24 reception, enough parking space. Great value for money. The room is a bit noisy, not from the outside but you can hear every whisper in the hallway.
yes It was lack of products for breakfast at 9.30 and it seemed that the staff wanted to finish breakfast half of hour befor the end.
Big room with 2 extra size single beds, good double glazing so litle noise in spite of being just off autostrada. Pleasant staff, restaurant with good choice at reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast. Good location for travelling north or south of Torino
Breakfast, location close to Torino You cut off the air conditioning and it was still hot
a quite hotel with beautiful view and kind staff
The hotel is near the Po river and in a sunny day i think it woulk look very nice. the breakfast was terrible; not enough food and the existent food was bad. I even tasted what seemed to be an alterated apricot juice.
Simplicity and comfort Payment for parking
low price. Clean room. nothing
Too strong a smell of room deoderiser, but went quickly with the window open.
The location is in a very nice locality near Torino. A quite hotel with beautiful view and kind staff The room was not so clean and furniture very old. Breakfast was enough but not so qualitative. If the hotel will be renovated it mybe excelent
Quiet. Functional. Easy access via bus to Turin. Breakfast wasn't good and certainly not "American style" as advertised.Decor of gf could do with up grading
Some of the staff were great, but one blonde lady was very surly. The renovatins leading to lack of computer usage.
Easy free parking out front. Pleasant desk clerk. Nice terrace overlooking river for breakfast. Price very reasonable with inclusive breakfast. Air conditioning in room didn't work (not sure it was actually installed, but there was a control switch for it). Beds a bit small.
modern design with quality amenities, excellent continental breakfast, pleasing gardens and relaxed atmosphere. no
Very pleasant area, wonderful meal, staff very friendly and helpful. Fabulous room. Only complaint was regarding the hardness of the mattress. Need to make them softer.
nice hotel very clean hard to find
The loft room was beautiful and spacious, for a family of 4. The girl on reception was very friendly and kind. The hotel itself was very clean, modern yet cosy, romantic with the candles in fact. Beautiful. The bar and restaurant seemed to be understaffed. We wouldn't choose to eat at the hotel again.
Nice harmony between modern art and comfort with an elgant, pleasent service
A very modern hotel with excellent facilities the room was hugh and water and fruit was free. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Alittle out of the way but we only used it as a stop over on our way to rimmini.
A beautiful hotel in an amazing part of Italy. Immaculate rooms, excellent service and facilities, plus a great chance to be away from the chaos and overpriced places that mar the coastline. We enjoyed a relaxing expericence and a chance to explore the Italian countryside.
The hotel itself was fantastic and interesting. Very modern and the service was brilliant. Barge itself isn't so great, but the mountains and Saluzzo are not far away by car.
Comfortable rooms, stylish hotel, garden. Nothing really, though Barge seems a strange place to find such an arty hotel. It's not a very convenient location for Turin, though we had reasons to be in the area. Menu a little limited - you wouldn't want to dine there more than once, though the food is good.
We liked the heated floor in the bathroom. It was a nice big bathroom with marble tiles. There was a lovely view out of the bedroom window. The furnishings were plush and comfortable. The service was a little slow eg no one took our dinner order in the bar, nor was anyone available to seat us in the restaurant or take our order for some time. Only one member of staff was working in the restaurant it seemed as if he also had to cover the bar. The restaurant also had one central light which made for a rather dingy atmosphere and they had donkey on the menu! Little of the hotel literature was in English although the staff spoke English.
Nice location, beautiful vieuw from the room and friendly staff
Set in a beautiful location, it is such a relaxing environment with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The service in the restaurant was very slow; we did not mind this but other guests complained. I am unsure whether this was frequent or an isolated incident.
Friendly staff!. They did everthing to get me an internet connction.Due to the snow at the hill my car was parked at a lower lever.De owner of this beautiful Castello took my luggage next morning to my car. This is hospitality!
The rooms and hotel grounds were very nice. The hotel food was also very good. A minor thing, but the internet service was slow and somewhat spotty.
we liked the area and the lovely views we were dissappointed with the breakfast.very limited choice which is more of a problem with children.we didnt think it was very child friendly, more for couples,my 2 daughters were told by a guest at the pool to stop laughing! .i would only recommend hotel to adults
Very relaxed atmosphere in superb surrounds. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff yet they did not pester you. Our stay was excellent and would recommend it to everyone. Many steps which some people could find difficult. No
It is a big hotel, rooms are comfortable, as we are visiting a client there, it is just next door to our destination, so it is fantastic. Price also good. Reception are very friendly and cooperative. THe location is for factories and offices; so if you are for tourism, it might not be so convenient for you. It is around 30 Euro by taxi to the city center.
kindness of staff
I take 7 nights on this hotel. It was a pleasure to stay there; very nice people. A lot of thanks to the lady which take care of breakfast! The only think which was realy unpleasant was the distance between Hotel del Parco and the center of Torino. There are an bus...but I don't see it.
quite and clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Excellent value, clean, comfortable, beautiful view on the Alps, mosquito nets on the patio doors, secured free parking, good breakfast, … I can certainly recommend it.
Good price/performance ratio,
In good order, fairly modern and quite good breakfast, esp. coffe. Check-in could not find our booking and took quite a while to sort it out. Hotel quite noisy both from passing traffic and other guests.
The hotel staff were friendly and helped me find the bus. The owner even drove me to the train station to save me 30 euros ($40-$50 usd) in taxi fair. The hotel was clean and my stay was great. I would definitely stay there again.
Simple, clean, easy parking, not too many hotels in area
Clean modern hotel & owners & staff very helpful
just very pleasant
free and secure car parking, good breakfast and clean room, really helpful staff far from restaurants
Clean bright room overlooking courtyard, fantastic restaurant recommendation and very helpful English speaking manager No
Friendly and helpful staff. Interesting setting in classic Italian farm community.
A great place with an exceptional staff. We always wanted to stay in an agriturisimo but did not want to be isolated. This provides that and is about 800 meters from a wonderful town. The dog and geese that roam the yard add to the stay.
As stated above my wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The staff were very welcoming after a difficult journey because of appalling weather. The hotel has a great ambience enhanced by tasteful decor. Nothing that comes to mind
The staff was very helpful and personal. The hotel villa feeling was very nice and picturesque. Everything was within walking distance from the city center.
The staff are professional and make you feel at home immediatly
Fine building tastefully restored to preserve a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
An old farm house surrounded by fields just on the outskirts of the town, which has been converted into a nice, very clean and friendly hotel with few agritourism notes. A very relaxing and hospitable place, if you like this sort of accommodation. There was a nice atmoshpere of old countryside luxury in the breakfast room. And the town is beautiful, small, traditional but not touristy. The hotel is part of a greater complex of old farm house buildings. About half of this complex did not seem to be renovated at all, so you have the feeling that you are staying next to something really old. I found this in some contrast with the luxury impression I got from the photos and descriptions, but personally I was not annoyed.
Part of the charm of the hotel is that it's part of a working farm dating back to the town's past in the 1400's as a marquisate, but there's more: its aspect (great views of the mountains), not posh but still elegant public spaces/guest rooms, and an excellent breakfast. The owners are wonderful and welcoming hosts and also helped us with dinner reservations both nights of our stay.
Vast breakfast and good restaurant (restricted menucard) a towel of previous visitor found in the bathroom. If you book this hotel you certainly need a car.
Clean, excellent beds, friendly staff, good value for money Really bad indicated. We hardly found the location!!!!!
Time I spent in town away from the Hotel. Everything, really depressing place to stay.
A very high standard throughout
Great value for money, the staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Jessica who smiled all the time and was super-efficient). The breakfast was very good despite being a Euro-brek not catering for us Brits, i.e. no bacon and eggs! Very clean and tidy, nice rooms, far better than other more expensive hotels in the area that I've stayed at. The only downside is that it's a couple of miles out of town in a light industrial area, but if you're mobile don't let that put you off. The airport shuttle is a tad pricey at 60 euro but it is about 45 mins from Turin airport.
Modern cozy business hotel, care staff and good breakfast. No
Excellent and professional staff, very comfortable rooms. The hotel gives a general feeling of cleanliness and good organization rooms are not sound proof
