It was very close to the Park which was the only reason we stayed there. I felt this was not a four star hotel, at best it was three star. the dining experience in particular was more like an institution that a Four Star Hotel The furnishing in the bedroom was also very basic ie. one locker between 4 people. My children however were delighted with the experience and that was shy we stayed.
Close proximity to theme park. Children enjoyed scrummy pancakes at breakfast.
It is located next to the Far West entrance.The food was quite good.The rooms were spacious and modern.As a hotel guest you have free access to the Beach Club which can be reached by taking the free bus outside the hotel.It is a fantastic place with 7 pools and a wonderful beach view.There is a cafeteria, lockers, shop and towels to be hired free of charge.Not to be missed.... You have to queue for breakfast as it is very busy.You are given a card with a specific time but no one is following this system.The dining room is extremelly noisy.I had to wait for more than half an hour to do the check out so I would advise to do it very early in the morning if one is in a hurry.The problem is that each person takes a minimum of 15mn to check in and there are no separate queues for check-in and check out.
The location, style and breakfast can be considerd as average or above. The rooms were also comfortable.
The location to the park was nice as you are next to the Far West within Port Aventura. The resort was beautifuly decorated as a old far west town and there are many nice places, the swiming pools were nice. The hotel entrance was quite tasteful. The Opera restaurant and particularly a waitresse, was really lovely and gave an excellent service within the resort. The little shop facility is nice, and the large cafeteria has good varied food. The rooms were pretty although small. I found that the reception was very disorganised and slow, we waited there for a long time and there were only few people working there to cater at peak hours. At entry time. I walked in on the cleaner and found our bed pillows had been thrown on the floor while she was making our beds. Which I was quite disgusted to see. The rooms had no soap and you had to keep asking for supplies. The room was tiny and the wardrobe had no spece for a family for a 4 star hotel there could be more details and for the price too. The staff at the Bar lounge late in the evening were quite unfriendly and quite rushed in their service.
I liked the hotel architecture, the proximity to the park, the client service desk service. The towels were changed every day and the breakfast was good. I booked a 4 bedroom room but I got a normal room stuffed with an additional double bed. The mattresses were uncomfortable and were making strange noise while changing position in the bed during sleeping. While walking bare foot throughout the room I got dirty foots and before putting shoes on I had to wipe the foots with a wet towel.

Location, cleanliness, friendly staff. The minibar in our rooms are empty. I kept calling the reception for more than 30 minutes to ask for drinking water, but, No body answer the call!

Very conveniently connected to the theme park, making multiple visits to the park each day possible. The decor of the hotel room, especially the bathroom, looked a little tired.
Rooms not very clean smells in room all the time, Construction work near hotel lots of dust. Dust coming in air condition .The shows in the hotel where repeated all the time .Drinks and soft drinks were very expensive.
Easy access to the theme park, Evening entertainment, no facilities for making tea/coffee in rooms, lack of english channels on tv for children.
Every member of staff that we met were extremely helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect for the park, and the grounds are lovely. Although the majority of the hotel's guests are children, the bed that we had for our 3 year old son was unsuitable, it was squeezed in next to the main bed and therefore the head of the bed couldn't meet the wall and there was no rail so my son kept falling out of it. Also, although the buffet breakfast is great, the food on offer for the evenings is overpriced. The hotel could do with a supermarket onsite or nearby.
Nice building, perfect location (nowheree near the beach though) priority on the rides Not enough staff, always a long wait for service especially the reception and bar. Breakfast quite good but a bit of a bun fight. Limited menus. A good 3 star hotel in a 5 star setting

The last day was a bit of a let down. I learnt from our trip to the hotel that there was no standard way of getting to the hotel (bus, taxi etc) We have 4 children so we needed to get a cab for 6. We got caught during the week in having to get 2 taxis to Salou. So, on the morning of our departure i went to reception (informed them of our previous experience regarding 2 taxis) and asked to book a people carrier cab for 6 people to the airport for 2 hours time. I was told that i didn't need to book in advance because there would be lots of taxis available and they use a different company for airport transfers than they do for trips to Salou. So you can imagine my frustration when i went to the desk 2 hours later to be told that there were no 6 people vehicles available for at least an hour. Ultimately i had to pay for 2 taxis (again) which cost me almost 60 euros.. It was disappointing considering i brought it to the staffs attention in advance and also considering everything else was spot on.
