It was a very luxurious Parador experience....we loved it.
We did not spend much time in the hotel as we had a wedding to attend. However the building was very beautiful and the rooms were lovely. None
a short but lovely stay at vilalba. very comfortable. a beautiful town. small complaint, beds a bit hard.
Friendly, helpful staff. Very spacious room, although we were only in a Standard room. They had a 30 euro Special meal deal for 2, but the actual cost was 34, because they automatically charged you 4 euros for the bread and salad dressing!!!
It was the first time I stayed in a Parador. It was beautiful and the room was really one of the most comfortable we experienced in Spain. Central location was most convenient for us.
Location in the remains of an old castle, friendly helpful staff and overall feeling of luxury combined to create a sense of well being. The town itself is not exciting or historic but there is a very nice river walk. Laura on reception went well above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome & look after us (maybe we reminded her of her grandparents) nothing
The staff friendliness and helfpulness.
The staff were very attentive and we had a lovely room & great food Nothing
very comfortable and quite
The room was very spacious and the beds were wide. The spa was very well organised and the staff friendly. It was not possible to register at the reception with my "tarjeta de residencia" and we had to use the DNI of my wife. It was probably due to the fact that the tarjeta has a letter in the first position and the DNI aq number.
The rooms are quite big and comfortable.
Large room with excellent bathroom No swimming pool
very much geared towards the spa health club - hard floor surfaces meant that you could hear the guests in both adjoining rooms - air con. did not work - hotel is very remote and sat navs can not find it, in fact most of the locals in the town some 8k away do not know where it is - better signposting is called for. took us over 1hr to find it. would suit recluse travelers who do not mind spending €26.00 for a swim.
Good ratio price/quality.
Nice clean hotel. Quite place to be. Very good parking area and nice walks direct nect to the hotel. No, the hotel is great. Very good place to stay even for more then one day.
Easy to find, free parking Personnel don't speak any language except Spanish, the walls very thin, poor and costly "a la carte" breakfast
The hotel is very clean, comfortable and well-furnished. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant prices appear to be rather expensive.
golf course couldn't use sauna as part of thermal club
Large luxury hotel set in extensive grouds just outside of a quite attractive and friendly town. Very pricey spa available on site. Friendly, helpful, English-speaking staff. Sumptuous room with beautiful woodland outlook. Phenomenal buffet breakfast. Great value for money for accomodation of this calibre. The spa facilities were enticing but very expensive.
The bed and the breakfast. Very comfortable. A little bit difficult to reach.
This is a modern and comfortable hotel with excellent facilities There is very little written information available in English. I had to ask for spa prices. There was a golf course, but I've no idea of the cost of a round. The site also has some history behind it, but there was no information in English to guide us.
The hotel has everything. Tranquil setting, private wood, golf, balneario, well signposted so easy to find. Central for visits to Coruña and Santiago. Friendly staff, immpecably clean, great chef. Nothing. Close to perfection as possible.
