Pros: Pension Angelita was ideal for the night-stay: easy to find, with private car parking, nice and clean rooms. The kindness of the owner was impressive: he gave us a lot of useful suggestions for our travel the next day. The price was very convenient.
Cons: only a suggestion: the choice for the breakfast should be a little bit improved
7.5 Good
Pros: Just off the Camino Ingles, really helpful couple went it of their way. Nice local feel to the bar, but still welcoming. Room was clean and fresh, and bathroom looked into the countryside behind hotel.
Cons: Nothing major, traffic noise was noticeable, but not a problem after walking from A Coruña!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A super clean, friendly Pension providing a comfortable bed for the night and a simple tasty breakfast. A great place to stay close to Segude when walking the Camino Ingles.
Cons: Nothing not to like
5.8 Okay
Cons: We arrived at 4:00 pm I had a reservation, but it was locked and waited for 2 hours in front of the hotel. We was so tired that we was finally able to unlock the key if we was looking to find another hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel owner was very welcoming.
Cons: When we arrived after a day of walking on the Camino, we learned that the restaurant, and all the other restaurants in town, were closed for the evening because there was a local festival on. As we had walked a long way that day, It would have been great if we had known this in advance so that we could have bought food on the way.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent

Pros: I was doing the Camino with my brother. The staff of Pension Angelita were excellent. They gave us a great welcome and made us a lovely supper. Breakfast was adequate to get started for the next day of walking. Its location is about 2.5 km away from the Camino.
Cons: The location of Pension could be better advertised along the Camino. We took the longer route up a steep hill on a busy road to reach it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay, breakfast included. Owners do not speak english, but friendly and helpful. We would definitively stay again.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent for my needs and easy to get around the city once you work out the bus system. Room comfortable, staff very helpful, reasonable breakfast offered at 7EUR. I was able to park on the street nearby so did not need to use their parking. Plenty of walking via the very long promenade just opposite this location. Did not venture on the beaches although they looked very inviting.
Cons: Nothing to fault
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff. Really convenient private parking (you have to get the key fob and details first). The room was very clean and comfortable, although there should be a bit more privacy between the toilet and the bed!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the concept of this hotel - minimalistic, yet very comfortable and pleasant to stay at. The rooms are spotless, beds are comfy, and breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff as well. Would definitely stay here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was very centrally located. It was really easy to walk to all the sights. It had an awesome view of the ocean and nearby beach. The room was very comfortable and extremely well maintained. It was sparkling clean too. It had a wonderful breakfast with hard boiled eggs, meat, cheese, pastries, bread and rolls which could be toasted, jelly, fresh orange juice, coffee and tea. A filling breakfast to start the day out with. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were also many nice cafes nearby for lunch too. A taxi to the airport cost 20 Euros and the front desk arranged for one to pick us up.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Small, clean rooms. Located a little to the north of the main city.
Cons: Noise of the main road at night is a bit too loud

Pros: Excellent location & lounge facilities a real bonus! Pay parking just outside the door!
Cons: Nothing really!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable large room with good facilities, parking station in front of the hotel, the staff were very helpful with any request, free drinks in the afternoon was a bonus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service and amenities at this hotel exceeded all expectations. They have hotels all over the world and based on this experience they will be one of my top three “go-to” places for accommodations.
Cons: Nothing!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was excelente
Cons: The A/C
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is a good spread to suit all. Maybe the scrambled egg could be alternated with fried eggs. The central location is superb. We upgraded our room to a street view and it was most probably the quietest room we have ever used, no noise from below, above or the side! We liked the free water in the mini bar being replaced every day. The hotel is unique in the fact that because it has no bar facilities, free drinks are on offer in the dining area, not seen this before. Also a special mention for the reception staff, we found them very friendly and most helpful in giving us advise, directions etc. Thank you Blue Coruna for a splendid week's stay.
Cons: The bathroom should have hair conditioner available, my wife did get some by asking at the reception. Also a box of tissues should be available. There was a small packet when we arrived but was not replaced during the week.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good and easy with enough choices. Room with amazing terrace was a plus, fabulous view over the city. Good central position for walking around town, parking a bit scary but ok and reception were very helpful on this issue and many others. Snacks and drinks during the day an added bonus.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fresh and delicious.
Cons: There were not many options to choose from. Especially as a vegetarian, there were not very many choices. The restaurant and room service have no vegetarian options. This NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great breakfast and comfortable bed. Staff were extremely nice and helpful.
Cons: Our room (Double or Twin Room with Patio View) didn't have any natural light and we simply didn't know what time of the day it is (day or night) or how the weather is like outside! We read on our booking that 'the rooms overlook the light well.' and knew it's not going to be great but the picture of the room was misleading as it had a window overlooking a balcony with natural light. If i stay again, I will pay a bit more for a room with a proper window, as our room was too dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had such a variety and everything was delicious. Had the breakfast both days it was perfect.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like. The accommodations were wonderful and the staff so kind and helpful.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the most beautiful place we ever stayed at (and we travel a lot). First the location is truly magic in a beautiful countryside where you can hear absolutely nothing except from the birds and bees flying around in the stunning garden. Second the house looks like it comes from a fairytale with the ancient charme and perfectly renovated consisting the spirit of the house. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have breathtaking views in the garden or the countryside. The owner of the location are the perfect hosts- extremely friendly and helpful and they seem to know everything you are wishing for. Don't miss the delicious and romantic dinner! We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place for everyone looking for a relaxing place with great hiking trails.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived into A Corūna after a very late flight from London. We had a short drive , checked in and then went down for a glass of wine/beer on the terrace. The man gave us tapas and was really friendly. We slept well in a comfortable room and in the morning, before checking out, we had a very nice breakfast in the dining room which has a huge panoramic window and view.
Cons: It is a perfect stop over hotel. The location appears to be on an industrial estate but you aren’t aware of that on arrival. We parked by an Olive tree and it was nice, quiet and welcoming.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, nice garden and decoration, short drive to downtown Oviedo, easy parking
Cons: Small room, no A/C (we could not open the skylight windows due to rain over night); breakfast is overpriced.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good panorama and personal !
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel shows photos of superior room, at the hotel they stated they have two types of superior room, we chose to stay at this hotel in a superior room , based on the photo, we where given a smaller room, they also called a superior room, as we had driven a long way we did not complain till the morning, we where then transferred to the superior room based on our booking and hotel photo.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Although it was already dark when I arrived I was surprised by the nice atmosphere that the entrance hall gives this place. The People are friendly, there is a bar and you have a quite nice view from the breakfast room. The Rooms feel a lot more luxurious than the Price Level might suggest. Good experience!
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is accesible and good by car; breakfast was good.
Cons: Air conditioining did not work well, thus no way to get room colder in hot days; room was much more hotter than outside, and if windows were opened then bugs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and luxury feeling inside the hotel. Very good beds and shower!
Cons: View on the front could be better, while there are no facilities on the backside (where the view is nice).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel provided clean comfortable bedrooms.
Cons: We tried the restaurant for dinner. Would not recommend it at all. Awful experience.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very modern and tasteful decor. Clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: No hot breakfast. Not in Betanzos
8.3 Excellent
Pros: God variety of foods for breakfast - continental style. Breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, yoghurt, cereals, jams, tomato, fruit, fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, chocolate. Most staff very friendly and helpful - tried best to explain/translate to us - we have very little Spanish! Reception staff - good language skills.
Cons: Beware - when there is a coach party they seem to take priority. Not a wide variety of choice of evening meals. A couple of meals were not hot enough. The local town has a few eateries but there is not much choice as they often seem to close over the weekend (the walk back up the hill is a drag!)

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We didnt have breakfast
Cons: A fridge in the room and a safe would be great
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: THIS HOTEL IS USED AS A SEX HOTEL!!! UPON ARRIVAL I WENT TO MY ROOM WHICH ARE LOCATED OUTSIDE WITH PRIVATE PARKING/Garages. I arrived at 10.30pm on a Saturday night and there were three rooms just starting to be cleaned as I arrived, obviously after being used as their afternoon session rooms, which you can book for 4 hours at a time. I mean what normal hotel let’s you book a room for 4 hours? There was cars coming and going most of the night, you could everything from all the other rooms close by. Everything you didn’t want to hear you could hear. The menu for the cafeteria has a sex shop part to it, ashtrays in the room with full length mirrors, sec channels on the tv and free condoms in the bathrooms. This should not be allowed to be advertised on booking.com and should also be advised that it is used as a hotel for this purpose. At least they could do is split the rooms so the ones being used for this service are separate from business stays or indeed if a family wanted to stay here it would be totally unacceptable. Totally and utterly let down and wasted money. No chance of any sleep due to constant noise and comings and goings of people in all the other rooms etc.

7.0 Good
Pros: View over the sea (not in all rooms), separate bedroom within Family Room for the children, underground parking nearby
Cons: Room not entirely clean (fingerprints on mirror/windows and urine under rim of toilet seat), price of underground parking was quite high (55 Euros for 36 hours)
6.3 Good
Cons: The biggest issue with my stay was a problem with the air conditioning. Every-time we set it to a certain temperature after an hour or so it be revert to a default setting of 28 degrees celsius which was much too hot. We asked the hotel to fix it and they told us they did but the same thing happened the second night. Upon checkout we informed them that the problem had not been fixed and the staff basically called us liars saying that someone had fixed it and not believing us that is had not worked and we had slept terribly again because of the room being too hot. Ruined the whole hotel experience which was fine other than this. The staff member refused to even apologize and didn't think to offer us complimentary breakfast or anything else to make us want to come back to this hotel ever again.
9.5 Excellent

5.0 Okay
Pros: They had valet parking and and a decent view from my room. The windows opened. Bathrobes & slippers. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: This was supposed to be a 5 star property and was horrible. Definitely not a 5 star. NH Collection, what in the world??? I trusted your brand. Entered two rooms that wreaked of smoke. Staff insisted this was a no smoking property by pointing to brass no smoking signs in the hallway. They need to leave that ionizing machine in those rooms for a week. Third room was better. Dings In walls and furniture. Waze sent me through the old part of town where cars are not allowed. I don’t know why GPS gets this wrong because it is off a regular road by the port.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great overlooking the waterfront! We had a view of the water that was lovely! There was air conditioning, which was nice at night, so we could close the window to avoid any noise from the streets below. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is big with lots to chose from and it's delicious.
Cons: It's a bit of a walk to get to the areas of interest and where the majority of the restaurants and cafes are. But if you're willing to walk or use the bus system, it's not a problem. The furniture in the lobby could be updated, but it's not a deal breaker.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice chain hotel type room and bathroom very clean and very comfortable bed. Quite as we were at the back of the hotel.
Cons: Area not nearly as nice as it looks on the photos, hotel is near the sea but the promenade area and the whole surrounding area are very run down as is the town generally, not a place we would visit again. Nicest area near the port where all the bars and restaurants are, had a pleasant evening but nothing much to do in the daytime. Not really a holiday destination.
6.8 Good
Pros: The view over the beach, and the convenience of being near the centre
Cons: Almost everything! Hard beds, NO outdoor space anywhere - crazy for a hot beach resort. No balcony, no bar, no garden, no pretty seating area either inside or out, no where to sit and grab a drink. Basically an old fashioned hotel built for business travellers or conference stay guests. No facilities, no pool, etc. I ended up sitting on the hotel steps waiting for my taxi......! horrid. Definitely NOT for family or relaxing in.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast!!
Cons: Door did not locked from inside.

Cons: Doors and walls really need better insulation - one could hear the wind whistling every time someone opened a door or a window. One could also hear the very loud bangs of doors slamming.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Bathroom was designed for handicapped person and outdated. Found hair on the bed linen. Some staff not helpfull/knowledgeable. Breakfast expensive at $20 euros per person
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and presentable. Lovely setting by one of the larger beeches.
Cons: Bed had a “camp bed” feel about it. Not good when you consider the cost of the stay.

Pros: The location close to the bus and train stations was a major factor in choosing this hotel. The staff were very helpful whenever I required any assistance.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfy hotel, we would stay again
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Inside the hotel is totally refurbished, quiet, stylish and clean. However, it is situated next to the highway (convenient when driving into and out of town) and further from the center than other hotels. However, it was a perfect place to stay for a night and spend an evening before travelling on.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was a very pleasant surprise for the price I paid... have paid a lot more for a lot worse, even in Spain. Reception very friendly and the location beside the railway station was very handy. Room was decent size, bed was very good and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was very good too. Overall, would say this was very good value for money.
Cons: Like a lot of Spanish hotels, walls seem to be paper thin, so could hear comings and goings during the night. Whilst the location is great for the railway station, its a good 20min plus walk to the centre of the town... this wasn't a problem for me, but could be for others.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast is wonderful. compliment bottled water is provided.
Cons: no kettle is provided in the room, but it is usual for all hotels in the area. It was a three bed room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Did not have breakfast
Cons: not applicable

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Looks like a recently renovated hotel. Very clean, comfortable rooms, beds and bathroom. Very helpful staff. Good wifi at rooms. Hotel has useful amenities and services.
Cons: Parking lot is not in the same property and is very complicated to get in there. Location is not the best, a little far from the center and there are not good restaurant options around.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and comfortable.
Cons: A little far to walk to town but taxis were cheap and readily available.
5.3 Okay
Pros: price, location was good
Cons: would not print a document for me, no curtains only net curtains?
6.0 Good
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the meal of the day, very good value for money
Cons: Quite a walk to the car park especially if you have a walking disability
3.5 Mediocre
Pros: very friendly staff
Cons: our room faced the major street, difficult to sleep with cars going by, it also faced the large 'hotel avenida' sign that is lit up at night, the windows had sheer filthy curtains on them. They just need some nicer light blocking curtains and bedspreads on the beds instead of just blankets and it would make a big difference in appearance.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked the convenience to the bus and train stations.
Cons: I did not like breakfast was not unitl 7:35am the morning we were leaving. The receptonist was not welcoming and friendly and did not go the extra mile in customer service. It seemed when asled a question it was an inconvenience rather than take ownership and help me out. I asked him if he could call my friend in his room and he said "no".
6.7 Good
Pros: Helpful staff, very comfortable sleep! Very close to train station; within walking distance. Hotel offers reasonably priced parking though isn't necessary as free parking in the area relatively easy to find.
Cons: For our one night stay, no problems at all.

Pros: The bad was very confortable and the room very clean

Pros: Hosts are very kind and friendly. Rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast is very basic (orange juice, coffee and toasted bread with butter, jam or ham and cheese) but compatible with the price. The hostel is just few minutes of walk from the core part of the old city. Very much suggested +++

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room upgrade was amazing. So large and comfortable.
Cons: Everything was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, accesibility, breakfast and cleanliness
Cons: The temperature of the rooms is too hot! And the bathroom shower screen is an inconvenience.
7.5 Good
Pros: the staff in general were very helpful and friendly, we like the use of a kitchenette and the location for visiting relatives is good. we have used the hotel on several occasions and will continue to do so in the future.
Cons: During this stay the breakfasts were very poor, there was a lack of hot food every day,, this was not due to high numbers of visitors as some mornings only 3-4 people came to breakfast, but to NO member of staff taking responsibility to unsure the hot counter was kept supplied. On our previous visits breakfast has been good with non of the mentioned problems, hopefully next time the breakfast will be back to a good standard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet was wonderful! The room was large, quiet and comfortable... the environment was pleasant and we felt welcomed and cared for.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A great hotel with a very large room. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The free parking right outside the hotel was a huge plus.
Cons: The kitchen was a good size, but needed a bit more equipment if a meal was to be prepared easily
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was huge! And so comfy. The location is in a nice neighborhood outside A Coruña, very quiet, beautiful park nearby, great walking along the coast. Easy bus ride into the city and then quick train to Santiago de Compostela if you’re interested.

Cons: Please try not to waste water on cleaning proper towels (as said in the ecological sticker in the bathroom)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, easy parking, close to the beach, quiet.
Cons: Staff in restaurant could use a course in English ... :)

8.0 Excellent
Pros: it is a nice place, close to the beach and close to a few restaurants and cafeterias. It is a clean and comfortable place, with elavator and 3 different breakfast options. I would back if I have to travel to Coruña again.
Cons: No AC, so in summer is a bit hot, buy it is completly normal in some european countries.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: There have been many accurate comments on the excellence of this hotel which we would echo. The big surprise was the delightful area around the hotel. There is a stunning beach five minutes walk away with many good restaurants nearby. Also a few kilometers further down the coast is some lovely scenery and great walking. It was also easy to go into La Coruna by bus and inexpensive taxi ride if returning late. Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location!
Cons: Not a complaint but while breakfast was inexpensive it was also uninspiring.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable enough, but I woke up in the early hours with food poisoning from something I'd eaten at a nearby restaurant, so not my best memory. Spent most of my stay in the bathroom.
Cons: There was an unexpectedly steep driveway (not good for sore knees) which needed to be climbed to get to dining options by the water, a few blocks away. I also tripped on an unseen change of level in the garage near the lift. Some fluro tape would be helpful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I was visiting relatives who live close by right on the A Coruna side of the Puente del Pasaje bridge. It is very near to Sta. Cristina beach. We arrived by auto from Madrid in the early afternoon and had a quick check-in. We were in a "family accommodation" on the top floor with a small balcony facing the city. The rooms were simply furnished but comfortable, spacious and very clean. The hosts were not effusive but very kind. I was surprised that it seemed so quiet for this time of the year, but at the same time, pleased that it was so. The temperature at night was cool so the lack of air conditioning was not an issue. Other reviewers made mention of the lack of value on the breakfast. I couldn't disagree more, based on expectation. The simplest version included coffee and breakfast breads and fresh fruit. Usually, that's enough and comparable to what one might find at any of the cafes on the street.
Cons: Nothing really not to like. As I mention earlier, it's all about expectation. This is a "smallish" family run property. It has what you need to make a perfectly comfortable stay. If you're looking for a place with "facilities" like a corporate property might have, keep looking. One point that is well made is the steep decline down to the hotel entrance and the garage: not for the faint of heart (really). On the other hand, we didn't mind walking up and down from the street and we never had an issue finding a place to park on the street right outside the hotel entrance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Very friendly staff. Definitively recommended.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, bus stop to A Coruna just about 100 mtrs, beach about 200 Mtrs plenty of cafe's and bars nearby, supermarket just down the road, the breakfast was continental and very reasonable. the room was very clean.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival we found that our allocated room had no view and faced a brick wall. We requested a room with a view which despite being fully booked they were able to accommodate us. This meant spending two nights in one sea view room then being moved to another superior room. They moved our possessions with no fuss.
Cons: No problems
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and quiet
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Accomodating staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly staff, so helpful in orientation of Coruña. The bathroom was great, spacious, great hot water and powerful shower. The room itself very spacious, just a shame about their choice in bed. Plenty of power points to charge all the devices necessary. Location is excellent ... So many shops / restaurants / wine bars ... Beach and port both 5 minutes walk either direction from the hostal. Some excellent dining and cafés in town too.
Cons: The bed was OK, we slept. It's a small double, however. I don't understand why a place with the room available doesn't buy a bigger bed ... They're fractionally more expensive! The room was hot, no air conditioning not even a fan. Sure the nights cool down but the hotel is on a main thoroughfare so windows open equated to lots of noise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the size of the room was great for a family. Location very centric. The staff was very helpful and very nice.
Cons: the parking was a bit confusing to find the right one. A bit of noise from the street.

7.5 Good
Pros: - Good location (close to the highway, easy to park, quiet). - Welcoming of the host: On time, friendly and helpful.
Cons: - Cleanness of the bathroom. - Strong smell of cleaning agent. - Few plugs in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close proximity for all my needs
Cons: Not sure if property has quite time hours, but patron in number 2 unit had tv loud till quite late, annoying
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean room with fridge...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner doesn't speak a word of English so just something to keep in mind. I had absolutely no idea what she was saying when I arrived.
Cons: There is no reception area or information for when you arrive. I arrived late at night so nobody was around even after messaging them on Booking.com to inform them my flight had been cancelled and I will arrive later than expected. When I arrived, the doors were all closed, there were a few buttons on the door to different levels, I didn't know which one to press. I pressed all but no one answered, my phone data wasn't working so I couldn't call. Luckily a stranger walked pass and was kind enough to call the owner to open the door. Since there is no reception area, it would if guests are informed on these kind of things especially arriving late alone.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view from the window and place is so clean.
Cons: The reception doesn't speak English
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Basically everything.
Cons: they just need a little bit of light in the stairway at night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Coziness
Cons: Smell from the bathroom at night
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room itself was wonderful. Had I never left the room, my impression would be much higher. It had everything I would hope for (except internet; see below). The bathroom (shared) was also very nice.
Cons: The location and its surroundings leave a lot to be desired. I only found one restaurant within a 15-20 minute walk of here. It was mediocre. I ended up buying subsequent food from the gas station about 200 meters down the way. (That should speak volumes.) Now, the location isn't so remote that it's inaccessible. There's a bus that comes by, but unless you know the town and bus routes, it doesn't do any good. Also, the wifi didn't work for me on either my phone or laptop. I think it just needed to be reset, which I explained, but that never happened. Two nights without internet access isn't the end of the world, though.
