This is definitely one of the apartments that I will remember for a long time! The place is huge, beautiful and our room was great. We had the best breakfast of our whole 2 week stay in Portugal (jug of fresh juice from oranges straight from the garden, jam and cheese made at the place etc.). You definitely need to stay for a day by the pool, as this is very relaxing - you have sunbeds, toilletes and shower at place.
As many have mentioned, no one at the Qunita speaks any English, even the basic words like room, pool, celaning etc. I think that with that kind of quality and some tourists from abroad it might be helpful to have someone speaking English at place. We managed to communicate during our stay using Google Translate and basic Spanish knowledge, so before you get there - learn some basic Portugese! Also, you don't get any glasses or cutlery in room and if you want to use the fridge, there is one next to pool table in the basement.
Lovely location ! All & more facilities than expected! Super good breakfast !
Very nice building with large rooms, which were clean. The view over the valley is very pretty. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with lots of very tasty fresh food.
Everything! The staff, the room, the breakfast, the whole place... it was amazing.
The very kind son of the owner gave us a great tour through the majestic building. The fact that he only spoke Portuguese and we no Portuguese at all was completely irrelevant. It was the passionate warm reception that counted. The rooms are very spacious and the breakfast with its fresh fruit and fresh orange juice, delicious.
It’s a beautiful but remote location. So you can’t go out for a walk. It you want to go somewhere, you need the car.
