Pros: This was one of my favorite places to stay in Sweden. I love the whole town. Historic and NON-historic. The ladies at the Tourism board were pretty darn amazing. So helpful. Funny, witty, and charming. I guess that is why they are in the people business. The property is just briilliant. Spotless too. I loved staying in my apartment. I travel alone and it was huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vestibule, big kitchen with table right next to a huge window with an amazing view...Trundle bed that slept like a dream. Supersized clothing/caddy hutch next to bed and and portable mini radiator! What??? Yes! And that thing really put out the heat I can tell you! I like a cold room and the little heater was just the perfect amount of heat. The bathroom was big enough to get lost in . Nice and bright also. Everything very near the Museum on the hill too. Walked up the hill to the church at night and got some great shots. Everything is well lit so you can take great night shots. Also, if the light bothers you there are nice black out shades to boot! I liked the key drop off box which was very convenient the next morning when I had to get out early. Parking is right there by the historic units, and feels very safe. There was snow and ice all around but they made sure the area was sanded so you could walk. The apartments are close to everything so you can walk wherever you need to go. I wish I had had more time to stay in more of the units. Thank you for preserving pieces of history and sharing it with us! Do not miss this! .
Pros: The accommodation was warm, clean and very comfortable Everyone we met was very helpful and friendly A truly great experience
Cons: the only way things could have been improved was for there to be a sofa
Pros: warm, cozy, spacious and clean
Cons: a sofa would have been nice
Pros: Very warm welcome. Received lots of of information
Pros: Fantastic location!
Cons: Ii think its a bit overpriced.
Pros: It's a history place. You live in a church town.
Cons: I don't know why, when I started taking shower, hot water disappeared. It's very cold at the night even it is summer. And I waited for an hour, still didn't get hot water back. And this time only me and my husband in the town so I don't know what to do. It's very bad experience. But in the next morning, I found the hot water is back. Very strange.
Pros: Living in a historical building is a wonderful feeling.
Cons: Hard to find the place since there is no address and keys are available in the Tourist Center a few hundred meters away. It could have been specified clearly. “Come to the Tourists Center “.

Pros: staff was very helpfu l
Pros: Lilla Hotellet was the perfect place to end a long day of hiking and driving. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable, and both the dinner buffet (not included in the room place, but a perfectly good value) and the breakfast buffet (included in the room price) were simple and delicious.
Pros: Clean and very friendly staff!
Pros: Very friendly staff and good cook!
Cons: Small, cramped room; few choices at breakfast
Pros: Food is superb!
Cons: A bit old and worn out....
Pros: The buffet dinner was outstanding - so much care in the preparation that you could taste the difference. It was like having a delicious home cooked meal at a friend’s house. The menu included traditional Swedish food prepared in different ways, not nouveau cuisine (foam and all that), but delicious home recipes. The hotel itself is older and rather eclectic but, again, the attention to details was all in favor of the visitor. Over the bed was a print that said, “we love having you here.” They are not kidding. Don’t expect the Scandia or the Four Seasons, but I’d you’re up for an authentic, comfortable dinner and accommodations, this place can’t be beat!
Cons: Not a thing that we didn’t like!
Pros: Exceptional place with a beautiful, cosy atmosphere and a very warm feeling of hospitality. Communication was easy and smooth and the small scale hotel was something out of a fairytale! Highly recommended!
Pros: Hospitality, very kindless and helpfull personal. I will defineately return to that place.
Pros: Besides the hotel itself , the rooms and facilities being firstclass , the staff is outstanding. Allways professional , helpful and friendly. Several times they went beyond the call of duty and helped us out with late food , jumpstarting the car and several little things that makes you feel at home.

Pros: Cozy hostel, the room could have been a little bit more modern. Staff is really nice and waited for us so long. Don't be the one who showers first in the morning :)
Cons: It's quite far outside but good if you want to be in nature. Since we've been a Rally Team, it was a bit too far away from Vilhelmina but we knew that so it's okay :-)
Pros: A convenient place to stay when traveling from Tromsø to Oslo in two days.
Pros: Excellent stay! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, fed and looked after. Thank you!
Pros: Small hostel in an old school building. It has everything what is needed, nature, sauna and distance from big cities.
Pros: Sara and her family are superb hosts, friendly, helpful and skilled at welcoming and informing us as guests. The facilities were very comfortable and beautifully and tastefully decorated. Lots of room, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and quality foods, all made so much more enjoyable when Sara, Majlis and Michael joined us for breakfast. This is a special place in a small village which we highly recommend. It was like finding a rare gem in an unexpected place. Our only sorrow...we didn't stay long enough. Maybe next time.
Cons: We liked everything.
Pros: The staff was very friendly! We were given a very warm welcome and a tasty dinner. Thank you Sara!
Pros: Staff, food and welcoming atmosphere
Cons: The weather!
A stay at Hotell Wilhelmina places you in the heart of Vilhelmina, within a 5-minute walk of Vilhelmina Museum and Vilhelmina Church. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was great. Beds super comfy. Clean. Great view from our bedroom and from restaurant over the lake. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and room to move. It was 25c the day we stayed so too hot for a spa and sauna but it looked very inviting.
Cons: Requested a double bed but had to singles. No problems though.
Pros: The views across the lake from the hotel were absolutely beautiful - from the room, hotel bar, hot tub AND sauna. A short walk from the train station it was handily located and close to all the main attractions of Vilhelmina. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Ikke AC (air conditioning )
Cons: Rooms are old and badly maintained. Everywhere painted is chipped off, on the outside door, room cabinets etc.the whole building looks like it had better days. Upon check in hotel wanted to charge me higher rate than booked via booking.com. Think most of the comments on booking, com are not reflecting actual situation.
Pros: Good bed Helpful staff
Cons: Old fashioned place
Pros: Old conference hotel very nicely situated overlooking the lake. Beautiful views from the sauna!
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Good breakfast. On arrival, told that a free hot buffet was available - excellent quality
Pros: Breakfast very good. free coffie in the reception.
Pros: Good location within short walking distance to train station and centre. Beautiful view over the lake from the room, restaurant and whirlpool, which is quite nice. Also had a very good lunch in the restaurant for a very good value for money.
Cons: The room was ok, however I wouldn't rate us as a room of a 4-star hotel as it was quite outworn.
