Pros: We started off with a little hiccup: apparently my booking through booking.com passed through the system but the hotel was closed. The owners were super kind, however, and they allowed me to stay nonetheless, so, despite the possible rough start, everything turned out just fine. The room was extremely spacey, perfectly cleaned, and with a wonderful view. Wi-fi signal was strong, and the internet connection was fast.
Cons: The matress quality was bad, to the point that I woke up a few times during the night due to pain in my back. Breakfast was kinda standard (industrial jam, a couple of slices of cheese and speck), apart from a homemade cherry cake. The cake was good, but they didn't tell me that cherries still had their kernels in them so I could have chipped a tooth. Overall it felt a bit on the expensive side of the spectrum.
Pros: The hotel was very quiet and the rooms were very clean
Cons: Breakfast was very limited, with a limited choice of fresh products. The bread was a couple of days old. Having been in many other hotels in the area in the same price range and rating, I would consider this under par.
