Pros: The breakfast was BEAUTIFULLY presented AND so delicious!! It was a feast for your eyes as well as your taste buds. ( they made the jellies for goodness sake!) The hosts went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay!! The stay and the accommodations were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! The area is so enchanting there simply are NO WORDS that could describe the magical experience that we had. This part of the world is beautiful beyond description. One must simply experience the sights, the colors, the smells, the sounds, views, charming “villages”, donkeys, cow bells, birds, sheep, pastures, hills, mountains, green pastures.....(stop me!!!) along with the warm hospitality of our hosts. This stop has truly been one of the highlights of my life!! Thank you so very much Maria Antonia and Paco. Your gift of hospitality and your attention to design and detail are extraordinary and appreciated. Thank you a million times.....
Pros: The owners make you feel special. Breakfast was amazing. Location is easy to get to and away from the busy roads. Great find and good base to explore this part of Spain.
Cons: A swimming pool would be nice but as 40 mins away from sea not really a problem
Pros: Lovely location and brilliant hosts
Pros: The house is a beautifully restored “casona de los indianos” in the perfect location for exploring Asturias, a half an hour drive away from both Gijón and Oviedo and a little more from the Covadonga area. We slept excellent and had a delicious breakfast, as well as enjoying the hospitality of Paco and Maria Antonia. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Cons: Nothing. The pillows were a little high for us but other pillows will be provided upon request.
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and thoughtful and gave us a lot of personalized attention. The facilities are beautiful, waking up here was storybook each day. No kids, no noise beautiful scenery and plenty of space to breathe.
Pros: The warm welcome and the way nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay as comfortable as possible ..and great food. We had a great start to our holiday!

Pros: Amazing hotel in a lovely quiet area with incredible views. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: The use of the spa is very restrictive. It has to be booked (just for 1 hour) and paid apart. We find that this is totally contradictory with the idea of having a relaxing holidays. They need to learn from other spas in the world. Nobody would spend the whole day in the spa, but having the oportunity to use it whenever one feels like add a lot of comfort to the stay.
Pros: Unfortunately I could not stay long enough. But the Junios Suite was fantastic. Morning view in total silence in an experience. Hotel perfectly clean, modern in a beautiful town The crew was very pleasant So everything behind expectation. I will return for sure
Pros: Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and very helpful (my husband is lactose intolerant) room was lovely and clean and spa was fabulous. The hotel was especially helpful with our request for a special honeymoon stay! Thank you
Pros: Lovely, very large rooms, great views and very tranquil surroundings. Barman was great and real fun. Dinner better than expected. Decent breakfast.
Cons: Difficult to find. We didn't use the spa facilities.

Pros: Buffet breakfast - catering primarily for Spanish tastes. But very enjoyable! Hotel a short walk from town. But easily accessible for the Cider Festival. Friendly staff. Some language difficulty - but with my little Spanish we managed. Great bar!
Pros: Close to town, friendly staff, locals cider bar. Good evening meal.
Pros: The bar, the cider, excellent local food and the friendly service plus a convenient and charming location
Cons: there was nothing i did not like
Pros: Hotel is small but lovely. Friendly staff even with the language barrier. Try to help us whenever we got any inquiries/request. Decent breakfast. Was visiting to attend a wedding at Nava.
Cons: The room are a bit warm due to the weather that all.
Located in Pilona, Palacio de Cutre is within a 15-minute drive of Chorrón Waterfall - Villamayor and Cueva del Sidrón. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This one is difficult. The property is historic and unique, and charming if inconvenient in a number of respects. We stayed at the recommendation of a celebrity chef we read online (and he doubtless gets better treatment than we did). After a very rough arrival, it wasn’t until checking out that we had a truly lovely conversation (and tour) with our host. We stayed for two nights, not three as booked, leaving a day early because there was little left to do and because of the dust. Others clearly love the place and we absolutely see why. But for us, the standout favorite part of our stay was that our hosts agreed to release us from having to stay a third night.
Cons: Arrived clearly to the surprise of our hosts, which surprised us given we booked 3 nights many months in advance. To be fair, the disheveled appearance of the place was the result of a wedding they still had not recovered from. (We met the bride and groom.) The place is inconvenient to anything and we were counting on dinner at their restaurant as we were famished. With no notice, we were simply told they would not be serving dinner that night. (With 18 rooms, we were the only guests that night.) The place is stuffed full of genuine antiques, far far too many to clean or dust appropriately. Clearly no one does. Unfortunately many of these antiques are fabric and the place reeks of dust. My wife kept saying that she felt like she was living in a doll house. Even the bedroom was full of dust. Again, our favorite part was being allowed to leave: It was clear they wanted us gone as badly as we wanted to leave. After we left we think they were closing up for the season.
Pros: The food was very good and the place was quirky with lots of antiques. There was a charm to the place.
Cons: The bathroom was in need of refurbishment - e.g. the shower attachment was faulty and the bedroom walls were marked with damp although there was no smell.
Pros: The hole building is like a museum and the nature around. The staff was very helpfull.
Cons: The ceiling is very low in some places of the room and you have to blend yourself or hit your head (and I did sometimes)
Pros: Superb meal and delightful waiter . Owners very friendly and welcomed us despite being soaked
Cons: Room a little dark n cluttered
Pros: Cozy bed. Nice private bathroom with bathtub. Great scenery around. Parking at the property. Good food at the restaurant.
Cons: A bit of "old and dusty" smell in the room. When using the shower some water was spraying from a mid-pipe faucet.
Pros: Whilst not especially easy to find, once there, you realise the Palacio is a beautiful building in a spectacular location: eating outside on the terrace with the site's incredible mountainous panorama in front of you is an experience never to be forgotten. For an hotel with relatively few rooms, the Palacio offers outstanding food too - the dinner here was fantastically good and especially memorable. Certainly one to visit.
Cons: The interior of the hotel reveals its past granduer, almost to the point of giving the impression that you are staying in a museum of the original owning family's many artefacts. Some of the original cobwebs appear to have been left behind by them too but, with so many antique objects on display everywhere in the building, it must be a nightmare to keep everything spick and span. I confess my own taste would be for somewhat less prissy interiors but, having experienced this before in other hotels in Spain, there is obviously a market for places to stay that convey a similar sense of the past. That said, I think this building could be absolutely spectacular with the kind of modern interior that Spanish architects and designers are so good at giving to historic properties.
Pros: Very high quality food and super attentive service. Table laid beautifully in the garden and we watched the sun go down behind the mountains. Breakfast was beautifully set, attentive waitress and lovely breakfast. Hotel beautifully decorated, quirky, immaculate and obviously loved and looked after well. Lovely to wake up in the morning to the sound of cow bells and the smell of delicious coffee. Could not have asked for more and highly recommend.

Cons: No air conditioning Almost no windows Very small and tight
Pros: Very kind and helpful staff. Room was nice, clean.
Cons: Earplugs needed from bar noise in adjacent alley.
Cons: For the money, it was fine.
Pros: Basic bed for two nights, but clean. Convenient for good bus service and railway.
Cons: Just very basic
Pros: Room and staff were nice.
Cons: It was very hard to sleep due to noisy people outdoors talking out loud all night.
Cons: The noise coming from the square

Pros: Service, knowledge, food, location & accommodation were all very good
Cons: Nothing of note
Pros: Amazing room, comfortable. Hosts very accommodating and great knowledge of local area. Meal they cooked for us in the evening was magnificent.
Pros: Dave and Javi were the perfect hosts and we loved our 3 days staying with them (and Carson the dog!). The breakfasts were healthy and delicious and we also paid to have an evening meal with them and it was wonderful. They catered for my gluten free diet with no fuss at all. We didn't want to leave!
Cons: Nowhere to eat within walking distance but that's not an issue as they will serve you a delicious meal!
Pros: Dave and Javier are very friendly and wil help you always. The appartement was very nice. Great shower, good bed and Nice Bose bluetooth speaker and smart tv. Everything you need, is there. The view from our terras is beautiful and peaseful. We recommend everyone to stay here. We stayed in a brand new apartment!
Pros: Excellent attention to detail ! In every aspect - high quality all around !
Pros: This is the perfect place for a get-away, the opportunity to dis-connect in a totally modern place that offers all one may need while "disconnecting." The location in prime cycling territory was perfect for exactly what I was looking for -- a cycling get-away with millions of options for rides! And coming back exhausted, sometimes wet from rain, and usually on an adrenaline high, the hosts Javier and Dave had everything one could ask for to wind down after a "hard-days-work" riding and climbing the daily ~160kms. I so enjoyed staying with them, feeling right at home, not worrying about a thing and definitely not wanting to ever go back to a "normal" hotel. Dinners at the Gran Sueño, served personally by Dave and Javier were sublime every single night! I loved every single minute of my stay with them and I am planning to go back! PS: I usually do not "do" reviews ever... because everybody feels different about particular things... but this place is extraordinary and deserves more positive feedback than any other place I have stayed in a while. Javier and Dave will make your stay memorable, no doubt!
Cons: There was nothing I did not like. The place, and everything related, was perfect!
Pros: Expertly renovated village house run by delightful and v professional couple with a nice Breton spaniel. Make all own food - eg jam and bread - and will do an excellent (though not cheap) three-course evening meal. Of course, not having a whole bottle of wine would cut the cost .... Lots of nice local walks, uploaded by the owners to Wikiloc. FEVE station at Pintueles is eighty minutes walk, uphill-ish to the property.

Cons: 5 days weren't enough... You can hear your neighbors (another rented house), just hope they don't party every night.
