Pros: The room is big and spacious, with air cosditioner it was a very nice stay. They have 2 dogs and a cat. It's very clean and being cleaned every day. The meals are big and fresh and delicious. Too much sugar in coffee and juices can be solved by asking them in advance.
Cons: As a couple we booked the biggest room for 4 people. When we arrived she gave us a small room facing the loud road until I showed her and asked to g I ve us the bigger one that we booked and paid more. Eventually we got the room we booked. The prices for meals starts at 10000 pesos, not 8000 as showed in reservation. The woman who welcomed us seems to be unfriendly and indifferent about our stay.

Pros: 5 minutes by walk to the fin del Mundo waterfall Friendly staff
Cons: No dryer for the laundry
Pros: Life changing experience
Cons: just a heads up that there are not many stores near by so I could grab some snacks before arriving- nothing so bad though!
Pros: Very good location to reach "el fin del mundo". From Mocoa it only takes you 10minutes by Jeep for around 2-3'000 Pesos. The breakfast was not included but for 7'000 Pesos you get a big and incredible breakfast! It was delicious! The surroundings of the hostal are great.
Cons: We got a small double bed in a dorm of 5 beds (6persons) instead of a 4 bedroom as it says on the internet. But the owner was so nice to give us a little discount for this inconvenient. Bathrooms are very basic without hot water.
Pros: Staff are very friendly and good hearted.. Breakfast is delicious and satisfying
Cons: They didn't put soap to restrooms
Pros: The attendant at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. He also understood when I said I was disappointed with the room and the hostel.
Cons: The location was right along a busy road and I was led to expect more of a retreat-style atmosphere. Unmet expectations are difficult to deal with. The room had a bad smell and had no ventilation to the outside except that cigarette smoke from outside came into my room quite easily.
Pros: The staff were really friendly when we arrived, and showed us a map of the nature reserve and local surroundings. There's a big kitchen and breakfast bar area and the breakfast in the morning was perfect (for a small extra charge) - a huge granola bowl with fruit and one of the most arepas I've had in two months in Colombia! The manager really helped us out with a few things. A great location near the entry to walk to El Fin del Mundo waterfalls!
Cons: The hostel is on a main road several kilometres out of the centre of Mocoa, but it's only a short ride in a taxi. I recommend taking your own food for dinner, but you can buy a good breakfast there.
Pros: Great staff. Really chill place within nature. Good infrastructure and wifi. A great place to stay.
Cons: It is located on the side of the road so it's noisy from cars passing by.
Pros: Loved all the hammocks! Staff was friendly and the hostel is really sweet. Feels like a tree house in the jungle. Nice to cook outside! Taxi to town is 10.000COP. Comfy beds! And it was clean :)
Cons: Far from town, can be a little bit noisy during the night because it's near the street. No supermarket nearby.
Pros: is a hostel for people oriented to use yahe.... they will found the best information and tours todo it

Cons: the laundry facilities are lacking at the moment but progress is surely on its way in this regard.
Pros: This is one of the coolest hostels in South America. Located in the jungle near the river was just beautiful! Great value for money. Would highly recommend staying here as you won’t regret it.

Located in Mocoa, Posada Turistica Dantayaco is within a 15-minute walk of Technological Institute Of Putumayo Botanic Garden and The End of the World Waterfall. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, laundry facilities, and microwave in a common area. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very beautiful place, peace and nature. I hardly recomend it.
Cons: The machine to pay by card was not working, and there is not ATM close by.
Pros: Good food, excellent breakfast included in the price, super friendly hosts that care for their guests, and a perfect location on the edge of the waterfall path. Wildlife everywhere including small monkeys in the trees and hummingbirds. Most of the rooms back onto the river with its soothing sound drowning out road traffic noise. The rooms are clean and the cold shower is very welcome after a day's hiking.
Cons: Bugs everywhere. My room was invaded on the second evening and so was the bigger room I was kindly moved to, but they gave me bug spray which was useful! Also the cute kitten did its best to sabotage every meal you tried to eat!
Pros: Perfect location, just 5 minutes walking to ‘El Fin del Mundo’ falls. Our room had an amazing view on the river and forest and as a bonus the monkeys come by regularly. We’re speechless about the staff. They lady is so kind and gave as the best service ever. Thanks for making this experience unforgettable!
Pros: Very convenient for visiting, Fin del Mundo, Paway, CEA and various waterfalls. The hotel provided us with an excellent guide. The room was well equipped with fridge, coffee maker, glasses.
Cons: It would be convenient if the hotel had a folder with a description of the nearby places to visit.
Pros: - it was more or less clean - location is close to fin del mundo - breakfast was good - cheap
Cons: - budget room was extremely tiny (bed with a little space around) - walls consisted only of some wood with holes in between - the key of our room got lost by the previous guests. So we locked ourselves out and instead of helping us they only said it's not their fault...so I had to climb through the window to get back in my room and no we didn't get an excuse for this - younger lady was quite unfriendly through our stay. Didn't see her smile a single time - Room was not ready when we arrived at 4pm but when we left we had to checkout before our hike...although when we came back at 12 the room wasn't cleaned yet...
Pros: Good breakfast Right beside fin del mundo trailhead Friendly staff Bus passes right outside going to town Good WiFi
Cons: Thin walls so its quite noisy
Pros: It was nice
Pros: I stayed here 4 years ago while on a NYC to South America road trip. At that time it was a very young noisy hippyish crowd that was fun but a mess.....now the place with the new cabañas and constant improving such as planting of the herb gardens and coming huge kitchen it's really becoming better with a much more mature crowd that still have room for kids and back Packers. Town is easy to reach either with the local bus 1500 each way, goes every hour. Or by taking a collective or call a cab 12000 each way. Several waterfalls are nearby, such as Fin De Mundo, but don't miss Horneyaco which I found even better(go early) The staff is really friendly and it's my place to stay when in Mocoa . They have a HUGE lovable Labrador I've named "El Tanque" The Tank! That I will miss ... Jakob

Pros: Really nice spot, very nice owner. Had monkeys come right up to our room! Good location next to fin del mundo
Pros: Loved this place so much. She is the best host. It was her sisters birthday and we had an asado with her family. Coffee every morning beautiful surroundings. Monkeys and Tucans every morning and evening. Greta place to stay in the jungle and go on the ‘el fin del Mundo’ walk.
Cons: Loved it all.
Pros: Remote hut near a nice path to some breathtaking waterfalls. If you want to reconnect with nature and get away from the daily stress then this place is magic as is the whole region of Putumayo. Janeth is extremely friendly and has contacts for a lot of activities. She speaks only Spanish but even with my little Spanish knowledge you will have a good time with her. In the morning cute little monkeys come by and see if they can get some food. Note that this place is only by solar power (bring a lamp) and does not have warm water, but when you are there you do not miss it! Can recommend this place to people who peace and quiet, try seek to reconnect to nature or like hiking through a remote forest with stunning waterfalls and canyons. The region itself is not touristy at all and has its own spirit. THANK YOU JANETH
Pros: I loved the facilities and attention from Janneth.
Pros: The place is located in a very beautiful area. You are greeted in the morning by small monkeys and the hostel has a very homey environment to it. Amazing
Pros: - the host Janneth is amazing and very helpful - relax/chill location - u can feed monkeys in the morning - fire place for fire
Cons: - no WiFi and almost no network coverage but it was ok for me - no hot water but the pool and the showers were nice - no option to buy something to drink and eat. You should bring all what u need with u
Pros: The most beautiful location, worth the 20/30min hike to get there. From the hostel it’s easy to reach the path to cascada fin del mundo and other waterfalls and canyons. The hostel is visited by all sorts of wildlife including monkeys and an incredible array of birds. Good kitchen facilities, a beautiful outdoor shower, a pool, gorgeous Jack the dog, stacks of board games and Solar powered lamps at night. Janneth was such a lovely and helpful host, and I had a really enjoyable, peaceful stay! Thank you so much.
