10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most beautiful place I have ever seen, the former house of Paco de Lucia, everything is music and arts. Comfortable and warm, romantic and quiet. People very friendly and nice. City of Toledo is absolutely amazing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Unique property with very friendly staff. Quiet street in nice neighborhood. Property is in exceptional condition with unexpected features. Fabulous gourmet restaurant on premises. Location is nice because it is quiet but nine minute walk to cathedral. Great restaurant recommendations.
Cons: Sheets could be higher grade but is a minor issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Attention to detail, beautiful decor in an historic house. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, even to the point where they made me a fruit salad for breakfast
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I ran out of scale to rate this place - 10 is definitely not enough! When it comes to combination of service quality, location and the spirit of the place it is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Kindness and helpfullness of the staff is top. And of course you cannot miss visiting Taberna just round the corner with its delicious food! Getting there again is a must for me!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fabulous. Breakfast was incredible. Location was ideal - centrally located, but still a bit off the beaten path. Staff was friendly and helpful. Minibar was great - drinks on the rooftop in the evening was best ending to every evening.
Cons: Air conditioning was not the greatest - but hey! It's Spain and it's hot! Did not really dampen our enthusiam for the hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love staying at Entre Dos Aguas, Rafael, Gabriela and Gina always make our stay memorable. The quiet location of the hotel, the services and amenities are A+and the entire ambience of the hotel is AMAZING. My wife and I highly recommend this wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of magnificent Toledo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff are very friendly and made sure that we were fully aware of the history of the hotel-house as well as the nearby facilities. Gabriella at reception is exceptional!! The house-hotel itself has a charming history and the hospitality lives up to the history of the house, we were privileged to be offered an invitation to a Flamenco musical evening in the breakfast area as well as a complimentary continental breakfast before we set off in the morning. Definitely will return!!
Cons: There is no onsite parking, the area has limited vehicular access, but there is a facility to unload the vehicle before driving to a nearby car park.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Words can only begin to describe the incredible stay we had at the Entre Dos Aguas Hotel. The location sits atop Toledo in the middle of a historical quarter and extremely centrally and ideally located to begin your exploration. You're a few steps away from amazing food and drinks, homemade marzapan (by local nuns!), and sight-seeing. The hotel itself is AMAZING. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with everything you need: stocked fridge, gloriously spacious closet with ample hangers, large bathroom with amenities and hairdryer, comfortable seating area with more glasses to enjoy water and wine, snacks, sodas. The courtyard that sits in the middle is INCREDIBLE -- hanging plants adds color and peacefulness as Paco de Lucia's music plays in the background. The seating is comfortable -- we enjoyed breakfast here and many glasses of wine and coffee throughout our stay! Our room had THREE sweet Juliette balconies -- we opened them in the morning to let the cool morning breeze in and hear the sounds of the city waken. The restaurant was an amazing experience -- private chef preparing local dishes with local ingredients, an excellent wine list, digestif tastings and a wonderful espresso to finish off the meal. But the crowning glory of this property is the rooftop terrace. Breathtaking views of the valley and city of Toledo completely to yourself treated us every night. We brought up wine and drank as the sun set and bells rang in the city. We played backgammon into the wee hours of the morning, sipping on local wine and marzipan snacks! It was romantic and thrilling and moving and emotional to be able to interact with a city on such a level -- no noisy cars, no noisy obnoxious tourists -- just you together breathing in the summer air watching the sun golden rays on the reddish brick rooftops of the city. The staff were absolutely OUTSTANDING -- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and so passionate about their city. Erika is a gem.

Pros: Location Restaurant Hospitality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The unique outstanding welcome and attention. The beauty of the house . The extraordinay dinner we had in the very tiny but worthy of a Michelin star restaurant , the very touching delicate attention of leaving a little present for us on the bed...We would really recommend this place without reservation for those who seek a place which is certainly small but full of charm.
Cons: Hard to say, cannot think of anything in particular.

7.5 Good
Pros: This hostel was really clean and nicely decorated.
Cons: The bed was small and uncomfortable. The shower was broken and did not have hot water. When I asked the lady at reception about it she said “oh”. Perhaps it was a language barrier.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were very kind, especially a short hair lady. The room was downstairs and smelled like mold, not worth for 66 euros. overall thanks for the kind staff, it was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and hosts. They helped with directions to the sites I wanted to visit. I still had to ask shopkeepers for clarifications. They were very helpful. You could walk to everything. The room was very comfortable and air conditioning was perfect as it was very hot outside. Highly recommend it.
Cons: Being in the historic center is wonderful but parking is always an issue. There was parking nearby but I am not that young and the return to the parking was daunting because it was all uphill. I just took a lot of breaks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location right near the Cathedral. Easy walking distance to most sites. Best breakfast and best view combined. Dining area is on the roof with view of Cathedral.
Cons: Perfumey odor to room and towels.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room had style & the bed was comfortable. (At first, I did not think it would be.) The roof top terrace was wonderful for an evening glass of wine & morning breakfast. The hosts were very helpful & enjoyable to talk to. (helped us get around during the crowded Corpus Christi day) They also told us all about their protector dragons. The breakfast was very good & reasonably priced. Very quiet room too.
Cons: Tiny shower, & needed some scrubbing to get rid of mildew.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good. Surprised to be able to stay in a Jewish/Moorish/Christian accomodation. Great.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location right by cathedral and within easy walking distance of shops & restaurants. Excellent breakfast. Hotel beautifully restored and crammed full of character and charm. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Parking was quite a distance away and set down wasn’t easy. Best not to attempt driving around old town at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect in middle of old town. Traditional pension of great quality. No parking. 5 min walk from underground parking @ 15 euros a day. We later moved car to free outdoor parking by bus station. 20 min walk. Excellent stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reasonable breakfast; wonderful atmosphere; great rooftop terrace with view of the cathedral.
Cons: Bit noisy as we were so close to late-night revellers - the price of being right by the cathedral in the lead up to Corpus Christi festival.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent!
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for older people or those that are limited physically and can't do alot of walking (if your definite plan is to go to the cathedral). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooftop view at night is AMAZING.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpfull to get access late at night and all our request. Great Location WOUUUU Well worthy to stay in a place like that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was the best
Cons: I would improve the light nest to the mirror, very difficult to properly apply my make up
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located at the heart of Toledo, nearby the cathedral, where the streets are most beautiful. The interior of the hotel looks antique and cozy at the same time. At night, when you climb up to the balcony on the top of the building, you can see the illuminated cathedral and castle, and appreiciate the charming night of the old town of Toledo. Alfonso, the landlord, is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommand this hotel to you if you want to relax yourself and feel the true spirit of Toledo.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, in the heart of old Toledo but conveniently near the bus stop to go to the train station. The receptionist was both pleasant and efficient. The room was lovely, as was the view from the rooftop terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful old world hotel with smiling welcoming staff! Super comfortable beds and though you are right in the middle of the old town it is incredibly quiet at night! There is a nice rooftop terrace you can retreat to overlooking the church and town rooftops. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in our month long trip around Spain. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it hit.
Cons: Just don’t drive to the hotel. Park below and take a cab up. WAY less stressful!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, everything is super clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The fact that there was someone to check us in out of hours on a Sunday was really appreciated. I loved the quick response to all our emailed enquiries once we had booked - fantastic customer service. The welcome was marvellous, everything was explained well. We booked an overnight stay - I loved the room, very in keeping with the Arabic authenticity of the baths. The room was tastefully decorated with lots of moorish features which were very pretty. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean. I particularly liked the tea coffee and extras provided in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious and well presented. The baths and sauna were amazing, we had them completely to ourselves. The tea service during the baths cycle was energising and refreshing. The exfoliating sessions and massage sessions were heavenly performed with such professionalism. All in all highly highly recommended.
7.5 Good
Pros: It's beautifully decorated and the location is fantastic
Cons: There's no clock down in the baths and there's no one checking on you, that wouldn't be a problem but we stayed in the baths 30 min more than we had to and we nearly missed a tour that we had already paid for. Also the bathrobes in our room we not clean as both of them had tissues in the pockets and they had not been washed. There was no breakfast available and overall too expensive for what you get
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place ! the location the staff and especially the Spa which was just amazing after a day walking Toledo
Cons: That we had only booked 2 nights : )
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really nice during our stay! The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable with lots of space and a pretty big bathroom as well! The location is really good. Maybe a bit tricky if you have heavy luggage but close to everything. The 1hour spa included in our reservation really helped us relax. Thank you for everything!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very polite and hospitable. beautiful design. cozy
Cons: Difficult to reach by car - narrow one-way streets. No parking Everything described is not a hotel problem, but inconvenient, there is no place to have dinner on Sunday after 17.00 and have breakfast until 13.00 Monday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautifully designed and comfortable rooms, clean and cosy. The location was very central walking distance to many places to visit. The price difinitly worth it as they included one hour Arabianbath. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The check in time was 16:00 and they dont give the rooms key before that even if its available but if this work for you then it difinitly worth the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has Arabic baths attached and we booked a room that included a daily one hour soak, with mint tea. Lovely atmosphere and comfortable room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our room was stunning and the bath house was a fantastic luxury. One hundred percent recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very very nice and comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing. I really loved the staff, they were very helpful and welcoming. And the arab baths were totally incredible!
Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect
8.0 Excellent
Pros: They include a visit to the Turkish bath, which is great.
Cons: The bad was not comfortable. The air condition is not real, something strange that is either on or off, making a lot of noise and not really cooling. The parking is not really 250 meters, and it’s hard to find the place given the city’s geography.

Pros: The owner was so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated this. The location was fantastic. Also, it says hostel but it exceeded our expectations so much with how clean and just fantastic it was. One of the best hostels we’ve stayed in by far!! If we came back to Toledo we would stay here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very convenient. Jose was very helpful in getting us a taxi the day we left. He patiently answered all of our questions when we arrived. The hotel is extremely clean. We had a triple room on the third floor. It was quiet, clean, and roomy enough for 3 people.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in a quieter but still easy to find part of Toledo. Farther away from the day tourists that are crowded in Zocodover.
Cons: Slightly confusing entrance to the hostal through the store. After hours (when store is closed), the lift is only available from the first floor (since the ground floor lift is through the store).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The beds were very firm and comfortable. The room was immaculately clean. The balcony was awesome for views and people watching. The location was ideal, close to everything but on the edge of the biggest tourist area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was perfect and really a surprise Beautiful decoration , bed really comfy and value for money excellent. A pearl in the middle of the old town .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and fresh!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff at the reception desk. Very attractive Hotel with excellent Location and very reasonable room rate.
Cons: A few small things that can be improved: 1) in a five star Hotel I expect at least two free bottles of water every day 2) no Kleenex box in the bathroom 3) staff was overwhelmed during busy breakfast hours. Breakfast items running out fast and being replaced only very, very slowly and after asking for them. 4) staff answering incoming calls did not make any effort to locate us in the breakfast room when an international call came in for us. As I said, nothing important, but should be improved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decor and style of the hotel and our room was fabulous. Staff was lovely. The breakfast buffet was delish and the coffee bar excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A perfect and unique hotel in the center of the old town. The staff was super helpful and very kind - also spoke perfect English (which we can't say for other hotel's in Spain). The room is spacious, the bed is amazing and everything was flawless.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful new hotel with a calm, classy, stylish interior. Staff is spot-on, super-friendly. The room was perfect, spa is amazing and the overall experience was flawless.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with history. Excellent location. Beautiful lobby and rooms feels luxurious.
Cons: If you are driving there, GPS can really get you lost if you make one wrong turn. If GPS reroutes you it doesn’t know that some streets are to narrow to fit a car.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent.
Cons: Staff were frequently missing from their stations and rather unhelpful on advising on city’s dining options.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staffs were all friendly. And, we could enjoyed our stay in Toledo.
Cons: It might be very difficult to get to the Hotel on foot even from the City center. Taxi might be the best way to get there. If they provide guests with a free shuttle service from and to the City Center or Renfe train station, I would give the Hotel 100 % satisfaction.
7.5 Good
Pros: location and beautiful big bed
Cons: The unfriendliness and lack of professionalism of the staff
7.3 Good
Pros: very nice hotel , excellent staff
Cons: the location of the hotel is very problematic while coming with a car , very difficult to reach the hotel
7.3 Good
Pros: Within short walking distance of the Cathedral, old synagogues and other sights. Comfortable rooms; well designed hotel. Good value. Excellent local cuisine in restaurant; fairly expensive menu.
Cons: When driving, hotel was very, very hard to find in oldest part of Toledo (took us 1-1/2 hrs.), with steep hills, one-way streets; people on the streets didn't know of the hotel, or didn't know where it is; or didn't know how to get there by car. GPS had nervous breakfdown. Parking in the nearby garage was expensive (17 euros/night). This was the only Spanish hotel of eight we stayed in that didn't have a computer for use of guests. They advertise a spa, but only a very small exercise room is available free to guests; you can pay for a massage or sauna.
7.7 Good
Pros: Excellent location, great staff, modern luxury. Room was smallish, but well decorated with nice bathroom. A gem in the middle of an incredible old city. Staff very attentive and lobby and main area very impressive.
Cons: No iron, room was a bit small.
7.3 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a great location. It was smack in the middle of Toledo's old town. It was about a 5 minute walk from all the shopping and restaurants.
Cons: At night the streets of Toledo are full of young drunk British men and or unemployed. It can be a bit sketchy there at night and you definitely have to watch your back. All the tourists leave during the day.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a very clean, classy hotel. The staff was more than helpful and it was very quiet. I liked that it was next door to a little market which allowed us to buy juice and bread in the mornings.

Eurostars Palacio Buenavista - Toledo - Building
8
9.0 Excellent (2,379 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The Eurostars Palacio Buenavista, built around the former 16th-century Buenavista Palace, is just 5 minutes by car from the historic centre of Toledo. This location makes it the ideal hotel for seeing all that the city has to offer. Just 45 minutes from Madrid - Barajas airport by car, Toledo is also served by a high-speed train line (AVE) from Madrid Atocha station and the journey takes just 25 minutes. A transfer service from the airport is also offered for an additional cost. For those wishing to visit the centre of Spain, the Eurostars Palacio Buenavista is the ideal starting point from which to discover Aranjuez, Cuenca, Ávila and other places of interest near Madrid. It is a marvelous destination which combines the magic and charm of Toledo with luxury and the very best personal service.
7.5 Good
Pros: The rooms are clean and spacious, very nice property
Cons: The pool, the restaurants and over all the organisation and management
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and professional.
Cons: Room overlooked a road and abandoned concrete building. I suppose I was disappointed because of the name Buenavista and having previously stayed at an hotel with a view of Toledo I was expecting the same.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with large, spacious rooms. Large pool with plenty of sun loungers. Great breakfast. Had kettle in room ( many European hotels I’ve stayed in don’t ) Reception were good at ordering taxis and sorting out problems quickly.
Cons: The rooms near the lifts had good WiFi. My daughter had to move room as there was no WiFi signal in her room. We did have to ask for things - only one towel in the room, only one milk in the room . Shower drainer metal thing with nasty hairs on was left in the sink when we first arrived. The staff did come quickly and clean the bathroom. The hotel seems to be set up for corporate events. The shuttle bus only runs to 4:00pm so you do end up having to get taxis into and back from Toledo ( unless you want to eat in the hotel)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great 5 star hotel in Toledo. Big rooms and beds. Pool is very nice. Breakfast was really good. Peaceful location.
Cons: Maybe the only minus is that it's a few kilometres away from the old town. Walking takes like 45min but taxis are really convenient.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast is fantastic, rooms are large, beds are fine
Cons: Not renovated, rooms are getting old. Bathrooms damaged clogged washbasins (both). Reception did not take care of our problem, not even a discount. Spa is very dirty, and stinks. That hotel has absolutely never been maintained properly for years. In the past, was nice. But now, better not stop here ! And parking 10 euros... for an hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very far from the center... restaurant car is very restrictive and wine list is poor and low quality. If you like 4 or 5 stars hotels, don’t come to this one ! (It’s a 3 stars Spanish level, no better). But still not maintained
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was gorgeous, everything amazing, it has transfer to the city center.
Cons: Unfortunately they lacked staff in the restaurant/bar (they were kind of slow). We made a reservation to the restaurant and when we got there it wasn’t scheduled (at least there was available tables)
6.8 Good
Pros: Meals are excellent. Staff is amazing. Hotel is clean and luxury decorated. But 250 euros per night in Toledo deserves more than a room with no balcon. The worst: swimming pool is over crowded and is required to wait for a sun hair. In my opinion: not worth the 250 rate per night.
Cons: Not balcon in the Reims even when the pictures have a big terrace. Swimming pool is over crowed and waiting is required to find a place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was brilliant room fab bed so comfy.shower powerful.breakfast delicious..view from room fab staff lovely and very helpful
Cons: There was nothing to no like it was amazing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great beds pillows may need an upgrade All very good experience
Cons: Just the pillows maybe
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very sizeable rooms - reasonable breakfast and ample parking. Friendly helpful staff. Magnificent central salon.
Cons: Can’t really walk into the city but taxis are rapidly available and if you prefer to take your car there is lots of free parking close to the escalators so you don’t have to walk up the steep inclines to the city.

Hostal La Campana’s rooms feature fresh décor and wood furnishings. They feature a TV, telephone and a private bathroom. A continental breakfast is served daily, and the hotel has a cafeteria. La Campana's restaurant serves set menus and tasty traditional dishes with a modern twist. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Toledo’s narrow, winding streets with its Roman architecture and numerous museums and churches. Toledo Cathedral is a 5-minute walk away. Toledo Bus Station is 1 km from Hostal La Campana, and Madrid’s Barajas Airport is 1 hours’ drive away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable. Everything worked. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Our room was above the street and got a bit of noise throughout the night. Probably best to ask for a room back from the street if you are a light sleeper.
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient location in the "Jewish Quarter" off Calle San Tome which is one of the busier pedestrian streets, not far from the Cathedral, The people who run the hostal also run the La Campana restaurant on the ground floor. It was nice to have breakfast included in the low rate. Mainly a continental breakfast, but I appreciated the coffee and fresh juice. The room was small and basic, but had a nice view onto a small decorated courtyard (as opposed to the air shafts or laundry lines I was used to seeing during my trip at other budget lodgings). The bathroom was well-sized, and the shower had a rainforest shower head. Aircon worked and was welcome.
Cons: No elevator. You would need to walk up at least one flight of stairs to get to the rooms. While the wifi was free and reliable, it was fairly slow compared to other lodgings in Spain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location!
Cons: The breakfast can still be improved.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Its very clean and the staffs are all.friendly
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Excellent location, great air conditioning, very comfortable, and the proprietress (I don't know how to spell her name correctly) was extremely nice and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best location in Toledo, from where you can visit the whole city very easily; for example the masterpiece of the great painter El Greco is only 50 meters from this hotel. The staff which is Toledo rooted knows everyrthing about his city
Cons: nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect. My husband is coeliac and they had gluten free bread ready for him and provided a plate of food for him direct from the kitchen so as to avoid the risk of gluten contamination from the open buffet. The staff was very friendly and worked so hard to look after everyone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The attendant lady was sweet and helpful. The bfast was easy and ended at 10:30 which let me sleep in. It was in the Juderia next to Santo Tomé. The price was great. It was super clean.
Cons: The doors are super noisy to close so my neighbors woke me a lot. The walls were very thin and I had to knock on the wall so they would quiet. There was no lift which makes it hard after a full day of climbing in the scorching heat and then moving luggage
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exelent! The best location, very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location!
Cons: The water wasn’t really hot. Luckily the weather was warm during our stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, location and high terrace bar
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Roof bar with beautiful view of Toledo. Great location and value for money.
Cons: Very noisy. Our room faced entrance and dragging noises on cobblestones woke us up way too early. Thin walls also.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff and information from some of the staff members. And the guided tour by JUANPE.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is most helpful, I messed up my reservation, they fixed it with a smile. The hotel is right in the historical centre, stylish, it has a character, it's welcoming. An excellent breakfast buffet was included in the very reasonable price. Cozy, comfortable, exceptionally clean, will definitely stay there again

Cons: I really don't know.
6.3 Good
Pros: We liked the location.
Cons: It was very noisy with inconsiderate guests but as with many hotels the “do not disturb” sign on the door a complete waste of time as cleaning staff continued to drag beds and chairs around waking everyone that was lying in up.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, and perfect breakfast. They will offer map and give advice for tour.
Cons: It is good hotel but may be not so ready for Chinese client, i feel.

Pros: Great view overlooking the Toledo city. 10-minute driving distance to Toledo City and main attractions. Dining atmosphere for dinner was tranquil and sunset view was fantastic. Breakfast was great and tasty with wide selections. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The dinner set was not a good value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and clean, beautiful rooms, fabulous pool and the view of Toledo from the terraces and our room was stunning!
Cons: I loved it all but thought that breakfast at €19 per person was very expensive.
7.7 Good
Pros: View was great from the Parador with clean rooms overall
Cons: Some staffs were very very rude. Which ruined our stay overall. The person working at the reception was rude and also at the breakfast cafeteria.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room balcony overlooking Toledo. Pool.
Cons: Bed was very firm so didn’t sleep well and very disappointed there were no tea and coffee making facilities in our room, as has been in other Parador hotels.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast and the view!
Cons: Room, cockroach Staff - not enough service mind
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Standard breakfast. Great views.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: really good breakfast with perfect view

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with spectacular views over Toledo. The evening meal was incredible and breakfast was possibly one of the best we have had on our Spanish road trip. I had left my IPad and the hotel were wonderful in arranging it to be sent onto me. Great staff, would def go back.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view from our corner room was simply stunning. We watched the (rare) thunderstorms all night from our balcony while sipping on a glass of wine. Spacious and superclean room. Fantastic breakfast buffet with lots of choice. We got a late check-out just because we had lunch in their (good) restaurant.
Cons: A lot of tour groups (busloads!) come to see the view and stand in front of your table while you have a drink/coffee and are in some cases really noisy. Why not lead them around the hotel to enjoy the view (rather than walk through the bar)? Some staff members were a bit curt (but never really unfriendly). The bar is such an ugly and uninviting space - what a missed opportunity given the stunning view over the city. The pool area looked dated (that fence around it...). Tip: infinity pool with Spain’s best view? :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is just stunning! A beautiful hotel with breathtaking views and a real Spanish luxury feel. Will be returning again!
Cons: Some of the bar staff were a bit stressed on occasions but generally really good and helpful
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing
Cons: The air conditioning wasn’t working well

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location right in the centre with secure parking and a lovely roof terrace. Room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. Traditional décor. Breakfast basic but good. We only spent one night but will return when it is cooler and would use the hotel again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very kind. They arranged a taxi despite of still dark early morning.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was served to you at a table in the diningroom which was a nice change from self service. Everything in the hotel was perfect for a short break. There is parking under the hotel. If you require parking tell the hotel the make and model of your car. If your car is big then maybe it would not be possible to park there.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful. The staffs were friendly and kind. Spacious room.
Cons: Used shampoo bottles were in the bathroom, and used cloth was in the corner of the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great and nice surprise that you'll have to experience for yourself.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Parking under ground for bikes (mind your head). Reception staff very good, told us locations of good tapas bars. Great roof terrace for enjoying a bottle of wine.
Cons: Breakfast was one of the worst we have had. Its served to your table, we had a little pot of yogurt with corn flakes in, one slice of bimbo toast and jam and a very dry croissant and one cup of coffee. We could of had fruit instead of the croissant but that was just a banana or an apple not even prepared for you. if you asked for anything else it was a straight NO. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything there was exceptional! The building is a renovated medieval house with all the modern amenities yet still retaining its charm. The room (single) far exceeded my expectations as it felt luxurious yet for a reasonable price! Sparkly clean and with a nice aroma. With some antique-looking furniture and a simple decor it immediately impressed me! It comes with a private bathroom with shower and an air conditioner, necessary for the summer. I'm really glad I chose to stay the night in Toledo as I enjoyed it even more this way. I would recommend this hotel without a second thought!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
9.3 Excellent
Pros: There are AC, private bathroom, clean room
Cons: The bed is uncomfortable, the concaving mattress in the middle creates a feeling of tilt. They sprayed too much aroma (before my coming) in the bedroom and toilets, causing me to have headaches, trouble sleeping.
Domus Plaza Zocodover - Toledo - Bedroom
14
8.9 Excellent (1,462 reviews)
Overview Reviews
This building was renovated in 2012. It is located on the plaza Zocodover, hub of the city and the Old Town Square itself. Within walking distance we can reach the Alcázar and the Cathedral. On the ground and first floor building there is the reception, where we find the background a restored well from the XIV century, opposite the main entrance, and also a wall from the seventeenth century. The hotel features single, double and triple room with a nice modern functional decor. They are equipped with minibar, internet connection, air conditioning and a plasma TV. Its location, on the Zocodover square, warrants a trip back in time to the most traditional and authentic Toledo.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, very convenient, everything is very close from this hotel, price was decent, easy to get from the station. The location of TV in the room was right. Felt safe during the stay.
Cons: Noise from outside. The room was facing main street where all buses and taxes run. Toledo is such a famous tourist place therefore this noise issue might be inevitable. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for quiet morning. But our over all stay here was wonderful.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: - Old room. Depressing actually! All brown. - Smell of cooked oil for the 2 days I stayed - Shower drain clogged and gross - Bed springs making lots of noise as soon as you move - AC barely cooling - Asked if I could check-out 30 min later and staff made a face and felt just as if I had asked them to sacrifice their first born!! Reported the issues at the front desk and was told they will make an effort to check. No change to the issues. Was not offered another room or any follow up.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location and nice hotel. I would definitely recommend it as a great value for money. Comfort and peace.
Cons: No issues.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is in front of the Plaza. The receptionists were very very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Everything, but the rug feels dirty
Cons: Just the clean of the rug
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite OK, and the location is truly excellent
Cons: The walls were really thin and in the morning we could constantly hear noises coming from the corridor, people talking and watching TV in other rooms, etc.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The value for money was superb. This is a small hotel in a great location with no extras. The front desk staff was very helpful in directing us to local restaurants for supper and breakfast. The room was large with a great bathroom.
Cons: For the price, it exceeded our expectations.

Pros: personel super
Cons: no coffee maker in the room

Cons: Nothing I did not like
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was great and the staff very friendly.
Cons: The breakfast was of poor standard and the hotel lacked a little character
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was super, overlooking the old city. Pool was a big advantage, meals on the terrace in the evenings were wonderful.
Cons: Bit too far to walk to the old city, mainly if the temperature is over 30 deg, but taxi is less than €10, or there is a very handy bus for €1.40.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: For me the bed was. Hard
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was incredible! The bed in the room was gigantic, comfortable, and came with very nice quality bedding. Everything was modern and spotless. The pool was nice and refreshing, and there were plenty of loungers and shade around.
Cons: Wish the pool hours were longer. I wouldn't walk to the old city from here - too hilly and too far.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Our arrival was 5 AM the front desk guy was great. The swimming pool is nice.
Cons: We were asked to leave at 1 :30 PM. We were about to, but we did arrive at 5 AM. I would have given me a later check-out, say 3 PM.
7.0 Good
Pros: The views of Toledo were nice and it was rather close to Toledo in a quiet place. The choice of drink and food at the bar was quite nice so we did not need to book the buffet breakfast (was cheaper this way also).
Cons: Price was a bit high compared to what the hotel had to offer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool The space Huge bed and large room
9.5 Excellent

Cons: No kettle in the room so we could make a cup of tea but it wasn’t a major drawback.

Pros: Almost everything else
Cons: No room service and swimming pool no open at appropriate times

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Without doubt the best breakfast we have had in a hotel there was a great choice . All the staff we had dealings with were outstanding . The hotel was kept really clean
Cons: The scrambled eggs and sausages, were not up to the standard of the rest of the breakfast, ( although these are difficult to prepare for a buffet breakfast). The pillows on the bed were poor had they been better I would have given a higher rating on comfort.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good position opposite the bull ring. An easy walk to the walled city. Nice clean hotel.
Cons: The building is surrounded by other buildings and consequently didn’t really have a view. There is no evening dining facility and although the breakfast room was really clean and well presented the choice of food was a bit limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay to visit Toledo. Staff was very helpful with a personal issue we had to attend to. Private parking. Old city walls just 10 minute walk away. We would stay there again.
Cons: Nothing, everything was as expected.
6.3 Good
Pros: Huge room and bathroom (superior). Extremely clean and with good bed and pillows.
Cons: Location rather scruffy outside. Inside no facilities of any description . Dining room only used for breakfast and if you wanted a bar had to use the restaurant next door which had access from the hotel and possibly belonged to them but not an attractive facility.
7.5 Good
Pros: We stayed in Hesperia Toledo for three nights and the location of the hotel is ideal for easy access to the 'old town'. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with plenty of 'healthy options'.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything especially the pink gin!!
Cons: Nothing!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious!!! And the room was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, for the most part.
Cons: Some staff forgot things a couple of times, but it did no harm......
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location. Clean rooms.
Cons: Booked room with non-refundable rate. Contacted the hotel to arrange parking and inform them we have a dog. The parking was 23 euros which we feel is quite expensive but had already read in the details that would be the cost. We were then told that the charge for our dog was 25 euros!!! If we had been given the option of free cancellation we would have definitely cancelled. We regularly travel through France and Spain and think 25 euros is excessive. The Sercotel Hotel in Burgos only charges 11 euros. We appreciate that the hotel provided a cushion and bowl but we already had our own dog supplies, and given that the room is small and has a tiled floor it didn’t need much cleaning. The room itself was reasonable value for money but the parking and dog then cost the same as the room!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly helpful and friendly staff! Loved the old building and although the rooms were not overly spacious they were comfortable. Excellent breakfast and coffee..good wifi..very good parking...dog friendly and a good location. Cheap taxis available if needed as there are some steep hills! Some bars and restaurants close by and a good shop next door.
Cons: It was a shame the bar was closed during our stay!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location Friendly reception staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was very tasty and served in lovely dining room. location was absolutely perfect - right in the heart of the old town and only a few minutes walk away from the cathedral

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Good breakfast. Convenient parking.
Cons: Rooms could’ve been made up a bit more thoroughly.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect....walking distance to everything
Cons: The bar wasn't open on Monday night and we were very much looking forward to staying in and eating at the bar that night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Provided a feel of the old city with modern comfort
Cons: From the staff to the upgrade for a room with antique catches we loved it may not do the breakfast again as we are not big eaters only money spent that we regretted

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The views are spectacular from this lcoation. The staff were very friendly. It is about a 15 minute walk down to the city centre. The bus is 1:40 per person and a taxi is about 8:50.
Cons: There was no bar area, just a machine for soft drinks...HOWEVER, the staff were more than willing to bring us a beer which we appreciated.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Toledo tourism but walking is unrealistic especially in the summer heat. There is a bus service which stops at the door which I would recommend using. The room was modern, cool and clean. The receptionist who was there during our one night stay was incredibly helpful, warm and kind. Beautiful terrace to sit out in the evening with a drink. I can highly recommend this accommodation.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was quite basic and could have been better. I would have liked to eat on the terrace but that was not possible. I’m not sure why.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Amazing Hotel! Lovely staff and good facilities. The hotel is also close to city centre :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff and facilloties

Pros: The hotel is not located in the oldest center, on foot 20 minutes, but from the balcony of the hotel opens a beautiful view of the city, especially in the sunset.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the beautiful surroundings, the spacious room, the modern bathroom
Cons: Not close to shops and restaurants
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Its cosy, clean, comfortable, lovely location and it has a small pool but really adorable with a great view of the city ❤️
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good place to stay in Toledo. Free parking available. Pool opens from 10 to 10
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, room charming. Refreshments available from a (paying) food and drinks vending machine downstairs. Breakfast was extra but very good and excellent value for money. If you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 15 minutes you get to a fabulous viewpoint of the city. The hotel is in a green, leafy area on the outskirts - very pleasant. Air con worked well.
Cons: It was a good 20 minute walk to the city along a road - not that comfortable in 32 degrees heat. There is a bus stop across the road which is very convenient but there is only one bus per hour and they stop quite early in the evening. There are no shops or cafes around the hotel but its restaurant looks good and excellent value - especially for breakfast. The reception staff were always polite but it was a shame that they did not give us any info about the hotel when we checked in. We stumbled upon a lovely outdoor seating area and the vending machines ourselves. We weren't told that we could buy breakfast that we hadn't booked and we didn't know there was a small swimming pool with towels available at reception until 5 minutes before we left (OK, so we could have done our research better in advance but this escaped us). It would have been nice if we'd been told about the hotel facilities upon arrival. There was also nothing in our room about facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a beautiful place and the staff is amazing
Cons: I loved everything

7.5 Good
Pros: Free parking, friendly staff. Close to centre and easy access from motorway
Cons: Nothing - just be aware this is a family run business, not a hotel chain. Good value, very Spanish. We enjoyed our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and welcoming
Cons: Tap in bathroom, water came out brown before running clear
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Hostel Gavilanes! Everything was clean, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though Hostel Gavilanes is not inside the centre of the town of Toledo, the 5 minute walk into that part of town is something that added so much awe to our visit. The Bar outside the door makes delicious tostadas and their beer and coffee is something we're missing already :)
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel with pleasant staff.
Cons: A fair walk to the old town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfortable and quiet room . The location was perfect for us. 10 minutes walk from the old city. We didn’t want to be IN the old city . The private parking was great, right outside the hotel. The bar /cafe which was part of the building was great , lots of ambience from local people . Very good breakfast. Hosts did not speak English but were super friendly and helpful.
Cons: All good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean room. Walking distance to the center.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, pavement bar terrace great
Cons: Everything as expected
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. Just very short walk to the main gate of the old city, but away from the big crowds. The host was very friendly and helpful. Free parking right in front of the hotel. A real bonus !
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The man who was working at reception when I arrived allowed me to check in earlier than the time given in the "house rules" section. This was a huge relief as I was tired and the day was hot. The same guy explained all the basics about the room and was friendly throughout my stay. There was a bath in the bathroom of my room! I didn't use it but I might have if I stayed longer.
Cons: At first I wasn't sure where to go as there is a cafe-bar of the same name beside the entrance hall and it was very busy. The reception is not visible from the street. It was only when I sat down and looked at photos of the property on my phone that I realised where to go. There is a sign for Hostal Gavilanes II at the back of this dark hallway. Maybe the sign could be lit up with LED lighting?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the free secure parking offered by the hotel. Also that it was within walking distance to the historic city. Or, one could take a nearby bus up the steep hill to the main square. The hotel is well off the street so there is no road noise. The room was large, clean, had good quiet A/C, strong wifi and a bathtub! Good lighting and ample outlets. Very nice place to stay in Toledo. Would recommend it to others.
Cons: On one night people checked in around 11:30 pm + and so there was noise in the corridor with doors closing and suitcases rumbling by. But things quieted down soon after.
