Beautiful location, pleasant and helpful staff, good food. The interior design is a bit dated almost to the point of being creepy. Very strange design sense indeed.
The hotel is a fantastic example of an old country mansion complete with antiques. Although a very old building all amenities are up to date. The restaurant is excellent and there is really no alternative choice unless driving a fair distance.
We enjoy our 2 nights stay in Palacio de Cutre. The rooms are very nice decorated, the staff was friendly and helpfull. It is an elegant place, a real hidden gem. The restaurant was very good, an A+ for the Chef. From this location we visit Canga de Onis, Cudillero and Aquillera Beach.
The setting was lovely and the hotel was very nice. The food in the restaurant was OK but expensive for the qulity.
Excellent value for money, evening meal was 1st class, stunning location and the freindly staff completed our stay. Bedrooms with vaulted ceiling, although looked fantastic the height restriction was a back breaker!
It is a verry peacefull hotel, rooms are nicly decorated, diner was good, breakfast is a buffet. Great view from the terrace on the mountains and golfcorse. The best hotel we stayed in during our trip. No view from your room and no airconditioning. During the night you don't need a/c but during the day it would be nice.
Great location, beautiful hotel The restaurant was closed (which we were given no warning about) and there are no restaurants in close proximity
Amazing location in the middle of the Asturian hills, beautiful building with all modern confort. Would highly recommend this hotel for relaxing a few days away from the city. Breakfast could be improved to match the rest of the services offered.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was very, very quiet with stunning views of the Picos de Europa. It's very difficult to find - they need more signs from the nearest main road.
location, friendly staff, quality food, clean air, sound of cow bells, availabilty of walks directly from hotel the difficult drive from the main road but that is not the hotel´s fault!
We stayed one night (30 July) on our way across to Galicia, but would have booked additional nights after our experience. The property has been fitted to an excellent standard and the set menu was good value for money. a pity the restaurant appeared to be under utilised by the guests. Breakfast was plentiful. Our bedroom was on the top floor with a sloping and beamed ceiling, so care was needed to avoid banging our heads. Wonderful views can be had from the skylights with the sound of cowbells ringing from the hill farm on the other side of the golf course. No air conditioning, but the skylights were adequate to cool the room. The hotel is in a secluded area so you would need to travel some way if you wanted to eat out. You need to watch out for the signs to find the hotel although the gps proved useful.
Similar to staying with friends. Hotel staff very obliging and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful peaceful situation buried in the countryside. Perfect for those wanting to get away from it all with some luxury thrown in. We were rather surprised by the amount of outside lighting left on all through the night. Difficult to stop the light coming in at night, a bit light city lighting. Not very echo- and disturbing when trying to sleep. Other than that - a perfect stay. Also it accepts dogs. However in your brief on the hotel it does not specify the cost for dogs, rather it indicates that one might or might not pay. In the event I was charged 25 euros a day, which I thought excessive and queried it. The owner agreed to halve the charge.
