the hotel itself, the room and the service the location
Fantastic looking building, right on the promenade. Sea views from many rooms. Good service, clean, quiet, large rooms. No English speaking staff or TV channels!!
Super location on the beach front. The building itself is a little gem. The staff were very helpful.
A very nice Hotel with an excellent location
Hotel: Situated in a quiet part of the Town. Staff: were professional, attentive and pleasant. They were forthcoming with local information and advice. Room: Small but clean and comfortable. WiFi: Free and worked well from our room. Car park: On the street (very quiet), or in a small, Hotel owned car park on the opposite side of the road.
The fantastic building itself and its location, pleasant staff, comfort and beautiful surroundings That we had not been informed on booking that the restaurant & bar was closed
very helpful staff, great location and great looking hotel
Beautiful location, lots of outdoors activities and also the town was within walking distance of some great restaurants and bars.Ribadesella is a very clean and well kept town,it's a good base to explore other places around.
close to the beach Old, smelly and dirty rooms. lots of hair on bathroom floor. small rooms. Not 3 star worthy.
The hotel is situated right on the beach with great views. Boardwalk between hotel and beach is great for walking. Short walk to the main town. Very pretty town. Parking is on the street.
Absolutely top situated. In every case : book a room with sea-view! 20 m to the beach - 10 mins to center. No WLAN in the room. Breakfast too expensive - go to the center and have a good one for little money in every caffee.
The hotel location is fantastic, staff were very helpful and friendly. The resort is lovely too. The room was very clean and spacious. We had two balconies, one of which had a sea view. There was a festival on in Ribadesella when we were there making parking a bit of a nightmare, but this may be better on a normal weekend.
The views of the bay from the room are stunning! The beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect for visiting the area.
Good view from the hotel balcony & a pleasant walk in both directions
Excellent position overlooking the beach, and walking distance to the town and restaurants. No bad points
The location of the hotel is perfect. You're right on the beach, and the main town is walking distance. Two small complaints, it would have been nice if breakfast was included. Also, having internet in the rooms would have been helpful
Very welcoming and efficient at reception on arrival and departure. Room was comfortable with sea view as requested. There was no dinner menu in spite of the hotel having a spacious and well appointed dining room
The view from the hotel room was spectacular, lovely to go to sleep listening to the waves Would have preferred to have a window or extractor fan in the toilet - very minor point!
The hotel is situated in a quiet area and yet is very near to the beach. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Clean, modern and well situated with very helpfull staff and free parking and WiFi. The bar never seemed to be open and although the breakfast was very nice it would have been even better if we had been offered a second cup of coffee.
Vey nice and new .hotel situated vey close to a wonderful beach. The hotel has no restaurant but thee are plenty in the surroundings. The hotel is well situated for excursions to Picos de Europe.
The location and the views from the restaurant of the unspoilt bay and headland opposite are absolutely beautiful The hotel does not do evening meals - althought there are some small restaurants within walking distance in the village.
- Great view on the sea. Some rooms have a sea view. - Good breakfast buffet - Nice beach just infront of the hotel. - Nice cities around the hotel. - Very good price - NIce staff. - Very familiar and stylish - Need a car! - Restaurants in the village are expensive for students, but in the village 2 min away the prices are ok.
It's location overlooking the beach at Niembro was lovely at breakfast time. None of the ground floor rooms have any view at all, just screening. Breakfast was not bad but could get a little busy at the weekends. The two local beaches are lovely and within easy strolling distance of the hotel. There is no restaurant and reception closes in the evening so access by pincode is used. Bear in mind if you are arriving late. There are three restaurants within easy walking distance in the village, one is excellent, but shuts Sunday night Quite difficult to find, it is signposted from the mainroad but from only one direction. Niembro is a typical Spanish village with narrow twisting roads with a curious one way system which the locals seem to ignore
Modern, clean, good value for money Difficult to get restaurant, especially on monday, when almost everything is closed in Spain.
near to the beach
The hotel has very good proximity to the beach - only about a 5min walk. The hotel is very expensive for what it is. I wouldn't judge this to be a very good 3-star hotel as it is not very well built. The corridor provides noise most of the time and you can easily hear your next-door neighbours through the walls. We didn't get a sea view or balcony, in fact our room was quite dark. Other facilities are basic with just a breakfast room (which does have a lovely view of the sea). However, this room isn't used for meals at any other time of day and is a bit of a wasted opportunity.
It was well communicated. My room was just next to the reception, with only a door in between. I could hear every conversation and noise outside, which would go on until midnight, time when the hotel was closed. The staff didn't seem to care that there was someone in the room, and it was difficult to sleep and impossible to wake up late. I wouldn't recommended it for solo travellers like me, at least if you want to get a good rest at night.
Very nice and clean with friendly stuff. Breakfast is OK. The hotel is somewhat tricky to find. Car is a must.
The traditional rural house is situated in a picturesque place between mountains and the ocean. It's a 10 min drive to the nearest wild beach and as much to Ribadesella - a local kind of resort town. The house is lovely and boasts a small pet zoo - 8 pussy cats and a rabbit. Good for families with children. The breakfast is poor and bewildering - olive oil and tomato paste to spread on a piece of bread. I believe some Spanish speaking guests could comment in Spanish on this for the hosts to take action. As they don't speak A WORD OF ENGLISH. This is another drawback. The hotel is for the Spaniards only. No WI-FI though claimed. The last thing is mediocre room cleaning - the maid is a garullous absent-minded girl of thirty. As most of the Spanish, by the way. Lazy and relaxed they are. If not having siesta this very moment they are in the state of foretasting it. Take note that the climate in Asturia is seldom favouring. We had 3 sunny days out of 12. All the rest were rainy though warm. And this in August.
Set in lovely countryside, this is a basic hotel but perfect for exploring the surrounding area. The owners are quirky but lovely with young children and couldn't have been nicer. You won't do better for the price, ask for room 3, best view. The evening meals are excellent value at €15. No
This was a lovely place to stay. It is in a beautiful location which is very peaceful and relaxing. The couple who run the hotel are very warm and friendly and we felt very much at home even with the language barrier! We had a wonderful time and would love to come back one day.
relaxed and enjoyable hideaway; delightful farmhouse hotel, rooms clean and modern, but decorated in a style that captured the atmosphere of that part of Spain - didn't feel at all touristy ( in fact we were the only English speakers there)
Room was big, clean and nicely decorated. Entourage was also very nice, quiet, green, nature... Lot of different and tasty things (savoury and sweet) were offered for breakfast. I would detail in the information how to reach the hotel, was not so evident for us.
