10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean facilities, excellent breakfast included in the price!
7.5 Good
Pros: the owner of hostel was a caring and great man overall. The Old Lady in reception didn't know english, but she was kind and helping despite the language barrier. But there's a young guy working on reception (I forgot his name) that guy yelled over my friends, One of my friends' reservation ended, he checked out and he was waiting in lobby. That Young guy from reception yelled at him and told to go because his reservation ended. Also, that guy was doing his work lazily and sloppy that he locked me in the kitchen area without knowing. He didn't even check that I was there or not. He just locked the door and went away. I used the emergency exit and walked to the hostel's reception to tell the guy that he just locked me, but he was "busy" talking to girls from work in exchange. I didn't even need to say anything. Also that guy stares at people whole time when you are in lobby. Some lockers were messed up, sometimes the locker gets so jammed that it gets very hard to use the damn lockers. The bathroom was clean af. No problem. They sell beer and vine in reception but I don't recommend. They sell beer and Vine expensive. I had no problems with fridge. I met a lot of great people. Would recommend my friends. 7/10
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, bathroom especially
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and confortable. Run by a very nice family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First of all, the facilities of the hostel are excellent. One of the best I have seen. I particularly liked how the showers are designed. They have their own individual area in which you can change. The common areas are very cozy. They make the stay very comfortable. The location is also excellent to access the many hiking trails in Cuenca. Initially I was going to stay two days. I ended up staying two extra days and I would definitely go back.
Cons: Not applicable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was at a beautiful location. Everything was very clean and smelled very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: No elevator, but regardless was a beautiful place.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are super friendly and helpful, the hostel itself is immaculately clean and well laid out. Location is lovely with views from the windows of the River and Barrio San Antón. The whole hostel has a great vibe and the other guests often like to have a chat!
Cons: The temperature dropped suddenly so the blankets weren't warm enough at night. However the blankets were changed for nórdicas the next day.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hostel and great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was big and comfortable. Highly clean place, I was actually amazed by how clean and modern the bathrooms, showers, kitchen area and rooms were. Highly recommended. Cheapest price on the area too, 18€ per night in a 5 people room. WiFi worked great. Average breakfast: toast, muffins, tea and coffee. Breakfast hours are 8.30-10.30 but they will put out some stuff for you if you have to leave earlier.
Cons: Shower in the room didn't have any privacy as the door was glass. Extra charge for towels, 2€.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Any other things other than the bed...
Cons: The bed. It's too soft with a curvature...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Eva and Alba were fantastic hosts and even though it was a B&B we had had access to the kitchen to cook our meals. We were made to feel at home instantly! Having an individualized air condition in the room was great, so we could control our own temperature. Really nice to have access to a washing machine as well. A Beautiful sun room where you could relax, eat, watch TV with a Beautiful view of this Medieval town. Houses perched right on top of cliffs!. Also, the location was absolutely perfect since it is located very close to the old town where the Basilica and the hanging houses are, taking us about 10 mins. Again about 10 mins walk to the bridge and to the shopping and restaurent area. We had wonderful, very inexpensive lunch at the Taj Mahal, with great service! Also great cafes and Wonderful pastry shops. We were very fortunate to have been there during their Semena Santa. Holy week during Easter with Fantastic processions. One of Floats, the last Supper had between 60 to 70 people caring it. Lots of costumes and music that was so enthralling and would go on for hours. The dedication of these people in Cuenca was phenomenal! Thank you so much again Eva and Alba for being such wonderful hosts and treating us as though we were your family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accomodation was ideal for me. I wanted to be near the historic centre. The B&B was ideal and comfortable.
Cons: Nothing-great value and perfect setting. Eva and Alba were very welcoming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts. Really recommend this place. I felt at home
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil area, but close to the centre.
Cons: Had to walk to old city uphill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like mom and daughter. They are very helpful. I like their breakfast. The bed is comfortable and everywhere in the room and washroom are very clean.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location just outside centre of town but only a short walk making it ideal for parking car. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Very pleasant apartment.
Cons: Everything great.

7.9 Good
Pros: Pretty good location, midway between old town and one of the main business streets.
Cons: Smaller than it looked from the pictures. No kitchen.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable, and central.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of room was ideal, Diego was a very friendly man, explaining where everything was and what to do. Very clean and access to a microwave and fridge as well as vending machines on floor above.
Cons: The sheet and mattress protector were too small for the bed so you ended up in a knot. No hot water in the mornings. Very noisy if you had the room on ground floor as the main road out of cuenca goes straight passed single glazed windows.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean modern airy room, friendly welcome
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The room is nice with all comodities, big space and comfortable bed, the welcoming by staff was excellent
Cons: The windows are right up the street which makes hear every single car or people talking outside, it s very noisy and stop when trafic stops, impossible to sleep
7.9 Good
Pros: -Modern room -Modern bathroom -Airco
Cons: -The noise from the other rooms/bathrooms -The noise from the refrigerator in the hallway -No warm water now and then -No information was given about the " max 30 minutes in the old citycenter with the car rule" resulting in a fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was within walking distance of everything. Very clean & modern & comfortable.
Cons: There's a vending machine & hot drinks machine with plastic cups. Bread & jam was also supplied in plastic bag. I'm really against single use plastic & there is much publicity about this currently. It would be great if there was a water dispenser perhaps, that has hot & cold & reusable cups instead of plastic? Bread in Tupperware?
Hospedería Del Seminario - Cuenca - Bedroom

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff location parking and breakfast.
Cons: All ok
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is centrally located in the historic old town with close access to secure parking. It’s an historic building of interest in its own right and still in use. The room was very quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfst was a very enoyable experience. All the food was of a good quality and well presented. The tables were laid with lovely white linen and in the background classical music was playing. It was certainly a good start to the day. The room was very comfortable with a magnificent view of the gorge. The bathroom was well appointed. The rooms do not have television and I quite appreciated that. If you did want to see television there was a very pleasant sitting room. It is not quite a hotel but as their literature says it is a place to rest. It was certainly comfortable and relaxing.
Cons: It seemed a bit strange being in Spain and not having eggs for breakfast, but it is not a hotel. A very minor point.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a wonderful building and the rooms lovely. All of the staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good. The view from the window in our room was fantastic especially with the hot air balloons in the early morning in the distance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful with my problem and perversely the rooms are very well set up for disabled people. The building and the position make any problems worth overcoming.
Cons: Couldn't park next to it, which made life a bit tricky as I'm disabled.
Hostal La Ribera Del Júcar - Cuenca - Building
5
9.1 Excellent (695 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hostal La Ribera del Júcar in Cuenca, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Cuenca Cathedral and Túneles de Alfonso VIII. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great for exploring Cuenca. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice bathroom and spotlessly clean.
Cons: Bed squeaked at every movement and there was a lot of clanking and banging somewhere in the hotel during the night so despite having a 'quiet' room away from the road, it wasn't a peaceful night. Parking was difficult, very limited roadside spaces. Breakfast wasn't worth the extra money, go out and find better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Attentive staff. Very clean.
Cons: Bed not that comfortable for me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was just a short walk to the old city and the views were beautiful.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable. 10’ away from the Center via a pretty but steep route.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location!!! And I was told the best route to the best places.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: An unpretentious hotel well situated by the Rio Jucar and with easy access to the old town.
Cons: Parking was in the road outside, so it was a matter of luck if you could find a parking place reasonably close.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly check in. Helpful with info on sight seeing. Offered a map. Very near to medieval town of Cuenca and natural beauty. Good facilities. Basic but good value breakfast at 3 euro each. Very comfortable stay.
Cons: Even though quite close to town, there is a long climb and steps up to the town so you must be prepared.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It had all we needed for our short stay. There are a couple of restaurants nearby. The Hostal is not far from the historic town, which is across the river only a short walk uphill. Free parking on the street.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, close to the old town, friendly staff, the room facilities were really excelant, even the bathroom was suitably designed in the way that my old mother had no problems to use it, which I really liked.
Cons: There is nothing to complain about
Hotel Boutique Pinar - Cuenca - Bedroom

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jacuzzi and fireplace in the room
Cons: No minibar in the room
1.0 Poor
Pros: Victoria was as helpful is she could be and the bed was comfortable
Cons: For a start it was not a hotel nor was it what anyone would call a 4 star boutique hotel. It was a set of separate rooms with no obvious reception or focus points. Our room was tired and in need of updating - bedding was old and frayed and nothing seemed to be as it appeared to be on the website. There were 2 mismatched coathangers, grass round the private pool was not cut, broken light fittings and a general air of neglect(definitely not 4 star) The staff were as helpful as they could be but could not make up for the lack of facilities and lack of care for guests. We booked for 3 nights and left after 1 ( and if we’d found alternative accommodation that evening we would not have even stayed for one night). Breakfast came to the room on a tray - coffee was lukewarm but less than one cup each but the rancid butter was the final straw really. It was one of 4 places we booked , was the most expensive and by far the most disappointing of all the places we stayed.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding. But we were very confused why we had no access to a pool and why I had to pay extra for my daughter. I’m not sure if it’s the mixed up between languages (Spanish to English) on their website, or if it was booking.com (who was TERRIBLE to deal with, when trying to fix these issues), but it was not a fun experience.
Cons: No pool. Having to pay extra for my daughter.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location and quiet surrounding. Breakfast excellent.
Cons: More care shoukd be taken to cleaning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff, service, atmosphere, breakfast, all were excellent. Went out of their way to make you well welcome.
Cons: Need to have Google maps to find.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully designed: furnishings and architecture. Modern building, mixed old/contemporary inside.
Cons: Website is not as totally clear as it could be that some rooms/cabins have no pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean , very nice place
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room, the bed, the private garden, and the breakfast.
Cons: The swimming pool was very cold and we felt the price was too high for the service provided
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so friendly, breakfast was wonderful.the bed was glorious.

I would return. Definitely a good haven if you're looking to spend a couple of days relaxing and retreating from life!
Cons: hostel is a walk from historical centre, but not so far. if you are aware of it it's no problem.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, helpful owners in a very nice home. Excellent breakfast. Parking can be a little tricky if you have a car. Best to check in first and ask owners for the best place to leave the car.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very accommodating and friendly. They gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast of coffee, fruit, toast with tomato and baked goods was a perfect way to start a day of hiking and site seeing. We parked for free on the main street along the river. The hostel is in a perfect location to see everything you would want in the old city, as well as a short walk to the restaurants and bars outside the tourist zone. I would 100% recommend staying there if you like a family run bed and breakfast type of accommodation.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location was great, everything was reachable on foot.
Cons: Wi-Fi wasn't working and neither TV. The floor wasn't clean, it was a bit dusty and there were hairs on the floor. There was no fan nor AC and it was a bit warm in the room.

Pros: The hostel was great. It was a nice, clean, large and comfortable room with a great location. There is a large parking close and the rest of the center is also very close.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view out the window was unbelievable. Two pillows for each bed was a plus too.
Cons: The shower for a 6 foot person is way to small.

The bed area is a little cramped but there is also another space including a writing desk. A pay car park very near 5.90 euro or we walked 400 Metre for plenty of free parking just outside the town walls.

Pros: Beautiful old building and the view f r of the room was spectacular
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and building architecture
Cons: Bad smell
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The building is beautiful and historic, and full of character and charm. Excellent location, good for exploring the old city. The room was very spacious and clean. The views are spectacular across the gorge from the restaurant, and many of the rooms. The staff are very helpful.
Cons: Our ground floor room (26) had quite an unpleasant smell which we think is because it's located above the kitchen. It was pretty obvious when the smell of cooking became very strong in the room. The bathroom door which sticks badly all the time should be fixed. I know it's a very old building but that's no excuse not to keep up with the maintenance of doors etc.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great view, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good value for money too. There were lots of extra blankets for the cold nights.
Cons: It’s quite a climb up the hill and parking around the area is expensive.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beatiful accomodation. Lovely view from the room and the terrass. The location was very good near Placa Mayor ,the cathedral and restaurants. Clean and well furnished.
Cons: -
6.3 Good
Pros: The large terrace with a magnificent view. Mattresses and pillows were fine. It was very quiet.
Cons: The room (No. 5) was very small, there was one chair for two people and nowhere to place a suitcase. The bathroom was so tiny that a corpulent person would have found it difficult if not impossible to squeeze around the door to get to the toilet. The hydro-massage shower did not work. No shampoo, tissues, etc. and the soap dispenser next to the sink was empty. The lamps gave the barest minimum of light. The room was very cold as the heating didn't work. There should have been coffee-making facilities in the room, those were in the lobby and not even free of charge considering the exorbitant weekend price of the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great room in quiet side of building
Cons: We were not informed about this Fiesta. I had asked for details of parking- to be advised that there may be a problem due to the fiesta was not a suitable answer. I tried telephoning the property twice - no answer. I had to park in Parking Mangana and walk quite a distance with luggage. Surly reception from young girl on Reception. Were then informed that there would be no breakfast served - due to the Fiesta??? Why??? A great room - in a fabulous part if the Old Town - but our booking could have been handled much better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, powerful shower, beautiful view over gorge (which asked for).
Cons: Met on arrival by receptionist 6pm... but no other contact with hotel staff during stay... not a criticism but maynot suit some guests.

Cons: No parking but there was some nearby at a cost or free further up the hill
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice, stylish room with beautiful view to the canyon. Room was very big, even to big for two people. We had separate room with TV entertainment. In the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunset in quite room. Breakfast for this price (5€) was OK, but nothing special. Ham, cheese, tomatoes. No scrambled eggs or bacon. You can park for free outside the city, but it's only 5-7min walk.
Cons: Nothing to complain.

7.9 Good
Pros: Clean and efficiently run. Excellent meals and wine and good knowledge of area of owners
Cons: Lack of charm little ambience and surprised you had to pay extra if you wanted to use the hot tub which really should have been reflected in the price
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house, good bed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovingly renovated old property set in a hamlet that is located in a beautiful peaceful valley. Though not heavily promoted on the hotel web site, the small restaurant serves high quality regional food. Rural Spain at it's best.
Cons: Minor points: 2 water glasses (rather than 1) in the bedroom would have been appreciated,, together with coffee/tea making facilities; either in the bedroom or lounge. .
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed extremely comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast could have been much better. The restaurant should offer more varied food given that there are no other places to eat within 20mins from the pueblo.

Cons: The accommodation was perfectly acceptable & suitable for our purpose but did involve us in a little more walking than we had expected because of its location. This would not be a problem for younger visitors.

6.7 Good
Pros: the location is superb, walking distance from both the new city centre as well as the old town with the major sights. the rooms are tastefully decorated and pleasant to use.
Cons: the wifi didn't work, and when i told the staff, they maintained that it did work, even though i showed them it didn't on two devices i carried. it was mostly the attitude of not taking me serious that was unpleasant. only after two days was the problem solved.

Pros: Central, in the historic city of Cuenca.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: After one hour trying to find the place we arrived at the property and there was nobody there .We rang the bell five times and waited for twenty minutes. We then decided to give up and leave .Very disappointed although it looked very shabby from the outside
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very quirky with lovely lamps and cushions on the bed and shutters on the windows
Cons: We were given 3 keys, one for our room, one for the outer door to enter the accommodation and one for the main building door. This is because the people who run it aren't there other than a breakfast time and when people check in and out. We came back around 11 pm on the first night and the key for the main door did not work. The phone number on the plaque on the building was not available on phoning it and it was only by shouting loudly to someone above who was still up who heard us that we managed to get in and not sleep on the streets. He was an old gentleman privately renting the flat above and has the same access main door. It transpired our key didn't work from the outside.
7.5 Good

Cons: No English speaking staff

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel, room, breakfast.
Cons: No staff on site until the next day. Didn't answer my e mail about parking. Recovery trucks remove illegally parked vehicles. 18 Euros to park affects value for money of the hotel.
