Pros: Locally sourced items for breakfast including an apple and quince drink were very nice.
Cons: Describing each item that we had for breakfasting the manner of a restaurant was unnecessary especially when delivered at such a speed that we could not keep up with the French.
Pros: Brilliant breakfast. Good service. Wonderful aircon.

Pros: It was rural. Leo was wonderful and the food, very good.
Pros: Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very helpful hosts. Host drove us a few kms along our way so we would not have too far to walk.
Pros: The stars at night
Cons: A little remote
Pros: Beautiful and on the main GR65. Interestin homemade food. Personable and kind owner.

Pros: Host, Leo, was exceptionally kind and accommodating.

Pros: A truly original chateau / castle with an amazing Donjon set on a hill with amazing views. This is far more authentic than a later (17th-18th Century era) chateau as you can really "feel" the early 11th and 12th Century history of the place and the restoration done by the owners is simply incredible. We also enjoyed the very authentic working farm village which is next door to the Chateau. A Middle Ages experience, through and through...
Pros: This provided a unique travel experience in a wonderful historic setting. The restoration of the chateau makes a place of modern confort in a setting of historic ambiance.
Pros: Wonderful hosts. Roger gave us great advice to discover some “best kept secrets” in Aveyron. Fantastic breakfast served in the garden with a view on the hills and the fields. Roger is a savvy historian who knows every segment of the local history. Indeed a perfect place for the eyes the heart and the mind.
When you stay at l'Auberge du Château in Muret-le-Chateau, you'll be 13 minutes by car from Salles-la-Source Waterfall. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: The swimming pool, the restaurant set very high standards.
Cons: The shutters badly need a lick of paint. Dinner quite expensive.
Pros: Great location and service
Cons: The room needs a fridge
Pros: Close to EstAin and Espalion
Cons: The big road by the place Random welcoming
Pros: This is a beautiful place and the owners are warm, very welcoming and helpful. It is an exquisite location with beautifully appointed rooms and spetacular views all just minutes away from Estaing. We had a fabulous time very much a highlight of our trip in France - we could not recommend a stay more strongly. We will definitely return!
Cons: We wish we could have stayed longer!!
Pros: Eric was friendly and accommodating, even had lactose-free milk as requested. Lots of good route suggestions for visiting the areas beyond. The manor was beautiful with impressive space for guests to congregate. The living room has a massive fireplace, and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Very cosy with a fire burning. Breakfast was great with an egg and french toast plus a variety of cereals, jams, breads. Good heat in the bedroom/bathroom.
Cons: We find a handheld shower head extremely awkward, same for partial glass enclosures with a tub. No toiletries supplied except for body wash, no tissues in the bathroom, plastic "glass" flimsy. Bedroom on the small side.
Pros: This is a well managed B&B which is tastefully decorated with comfortable rooms (and modern bathrooms). The slightly obsequious owner clearly takes great pride in his establishment.
Cons: Breakfast does not begin until 8am which might not suit all Camino walkers. The pictures cleverly hide the fact that the building is only 15 metres from a fairly busy main road; the traffic begins at about 0530. Suggest you bring earplugs. For those walking to the location by road from Estaing, it is busy road with narrow verges although Eric will kindly collect and drop you off for a fee.
Pros: Stunning property and furnishings, very high quality evening meal at very reasonable price
Cons: Air conditioning in the bedroom would have been very welcome. The location was lovely but too far from the town to walk which we hadn’t realised. Finally it would be good to have flexibility on the 4 pm access, especially for overseas visitors who have had a long journey. Understandable if room not ready earlier but would be nice to get into the property to sit outside and relax whilst waiting
Pros: Breakfast was reasonable
Cons: Property is located 3km from town, along a busy road, totally unsuited to walkers doing Chemin St Jacques. We had to wait outside in the rain for 1 hour before manager finally arrived - only a recorded message on phone. In my opinion, manager was condescending and arrogant.
Pros: Excellent design, very good breakfast
Cons: Very nice hotel next to noisy road
Pros: Very comfy beds, best sleep we had so far on our 3 weeks trip. Having a hot tub and sauna after all our walking was great. having an espresso before leaving was great too.
Cons: I thought their would be toiletries available per our reservation, good thing I brought the tiny bar of soapfrom a previous stay elsewhere. With the exceptional espresso machine it would have been nice if the owner had offered us an espresso with our breakfast rather than just regular coffee or instant espresso from a package.... the first day I asked for a cappucino which was lovely. All in all a great place, stay here!
