The hotel is not far from the city centre but is located in a modern urban development on the other sie of the river. It is a convenient place to stay for a city visit and whilst not in the luxury class it is a comfortable hotel for anovernight stop. The breakfast was very good. No other than lack of the normal signposting
Location good, 15 minute walk to old town. Reception staff and room maids helpful in changing to another room immediately on check in as there was a problem with the toilet in teh 1st room allocated. Also we arrived early, 3 hours before check in and no problem there. Bed was very hard and the most uncomfortable we have ever had in a hotel. We have had better beds on Greek Islands in cheap pensions. Also only 1 bolster pillow provided, also uncomfortable.
Fairly close to centre of town - 10 minutes walk. Secure car park was much appreciated. Quite a good and varied menu.
The food was first class. Staff were well able to assist in translating the menu. n/a
Hotel was in the city center. that was the only thing I liked about this hotel. Staff doesn't know English so we couldn't talk with them. We couldn't receive information about the city. Hotel rooms were so small and wasn't so clean. It is not a comfortable hotel. Is is so expensive according to the its features.
A very pleasant stay. All facilities, including parking arrangements, were good.
Comfortable and easy to walk into the city. The food in the evening restaurant was not good enough for a 3 star hotel. Also the service was slow.
A well situated hotel for sight seeing the old Town
Relaxed atmosphere with helpfull staff There was nobody to advise us on the wine list
Location, ease of access, quiet area, very comfortable rooms.Great breakfast with wide choice of food.
location excellent breakfast excellent dinner not very good
Superb location in short walking distance of city attractions, restaurants, bars etc. Very comfortable room. High quality evening menu (including wine) in excellent value half board rate. Inability to control room AC (warmer than the public rooms). The breakfast buffet was left a little thin after a large coach party!
Good location, as the Torre de El Sarvador, one of the important spots, is next to the hotel. Also, you can walk to the important monuments in the old part of the city.
Friendly personnel; good location Too much to mention in this little space.Breakfast buffet empty at 1 hour after opening. No safe box in the room. No airconditioning. After complaining we were told that airco did not work. Bathroom with bubble bath, but only a boiler for 50 litres hot water. Not enough if 2 people want to take a bath, one after the other that is..
Good location. Teruel is well worth visiting and this would be a good base to see some interesting villages around but you need your own transport to get to them. We had the half-board/double room deal at E90 as the restaurant has good reviews but we were disappointed with the set menu. Maybe the a la carte food is better. Take a Spanish-English food dictionary.
Being near the city center The noise during the night
WiFi internet, good food, pleasant staff and fabulous surroundings.
Location Restaurant was truly aweful and should be avoided. Service was grim and totally lacked atmosphere - mind tyou we were the only ones there apart from the waiter who seemd to be doing the cooking too.The Aragon Lamb was a ropey lamb shank and the cold tomatoe soup beggars belief. Only 10 parking spots, mostly very tight.
It's central location. No
The staff were very polite and helpful and the room was very clean and well kept.It was also close to pionts of interest and local shops. No complaints.
Noisy air conditioning device and noisy place, room ok but expensive breakfast (worthless bas price-quality relationship). Expensive overall price.
It was very close to the centre and facilities. Basic but clean. Twenty four hour access via a buzzer. Lifts to all floors. Parking nearby at €12 a day. English speaking receptionist for those not speaking Spanish. A very enjoyable stay.
Location cannot be better. Rooms were clean and modern, nice TV (important for World Cup times). Breakfast was good when right people happened to be at work. Two reception clerks out of three were downright rude, besides being completely monolingual. There was some traffic change in the old town, so the hotel could not be accessed by car by GPS directions.
Excellent location in the old city center and next to Torico Plaza. Room very comfortable and staff friendly
located very centrally in old city centre parking difficult to find
The hotel is in the center of town, close to restaurants and easy to get to the main square. It is a very petite hotel. It is also hard to find and surrounded by 1 way streets so if you miss it it takes a while to find again. The rooms are small but so are many in Europe.
Location was perfect, the additional balcony on the room was a wonderful touch. the helpful fluent english speaking staff were a bonus.
Nice hotel in very nice town. Very good location Woman at reception refused Visa card. Insisted i pay in cash
Very secure and central No car parking facilities
Ideal location within easy walking distance of all the major sights of Teruel. Comfortable, good sized rooms, excellent breakfast. Not all rooms have a bath, we were lucky ours did but our friends only got showers. No cereal bowls at breakfast, you have to use a cup for your cornflakes which was a bit odd but not really a problem.
The Parador is situated in lovely grounds within very easy reach of the town by car. The room was spacious and well equipped as was the bathroom. The staff in reception were extremely polite and helpful. If the staff in the dining room spent less time talking amongst themselves and more time attending to the needs of diners, the service would improve considerably. The food was disappointing on the whole.
Ease of parking
Lovely comfortable hotel, particularly the garden and swimming pool which were excellent. Rooms also great It did not seem like you could walk anywhere as it leads out to a very busy motorway with no footpaths. Also bad coffee in the cafe
A clean, wholesome hotel which met our requirements. Its easy access to Teruel was appreciated and the noise of the busy road on which the hotel was situated did not cause any undue noise in the hotel. The food was a little too regional for the less adventurous of diners; it would have been good to have kept the more regional as well as more "safe" options as far as we were concerned. We stayed in the beginning of June and was surprised that other hotel residents did not appear to want to use the excellent sized pool as the weather was quite warm. Maybe the pool surroundings would do with a little more emphasis on the aesthetics to try and make visiting the pool more attractive E.G. with some umbrellas, a pool side bar/cafe etc
Nice friendly atmosphere, good location off the main road through. However the dining room was a little utilitarian, with bright lighst and little atmosphere. Buffet breakfast was laid out on a small table with not a lot of choice. However the dining room was a little utilitarian, with bright lighst and little atmosphere. hotel staff at the reception wasn't really friendly
It was convenient for exploring the surrounding countryside, and as a stop off when travelling from SE Spain to Bilbao/Santander, and had good parking and grounds. Paradores have a name for good service etc. but are usally quite expensive. This wasa pleasant hotel with good facilities at a reasonable price.
The hotel is situated in lovely grounds with ample car parking. it is less than 5 minutes away from Teruel town centre. It was easy to find by the directions from the Autovia. The hotel seemed under staffed at breakfast but as it is a buffet there was little problem. The choice of food and the quality leaves a lot to be desired and if I used this hotel again I would not have dinner there. Both food and drink was expensive but according to fellow guests this is similar to all Parador hotels!
That a minimum dress code was not enforced in the dining room for the evening meal..
We liked the evening meals, rooms were very clean and a good size. We liked the position just outside of the town.
Good value, secure parking Noisy, situated in an urbanisation and a long way from centre of Teruel.
everything works fine, room spacious, quiet. Although not at the centre, lively neiborhoud a little bit old, nothing special for the price, limited space for breakfast, needs updating
quality of theroom distance from town centre
It was only one inexpensive night on a journey through Spain. Spare and plain inside, clean but dull, located in the wrong part of town with a long walk to the historical centre, difficult to find as it is tucked away in a cul de sac and is part of a residential apartment block. Staff seemed pretty miserable and so were we.
access, location (Teruel)
large rooms, helpful chambermaids, modern decor, easy and near parking. Not as far from the town as we thought. good bus service. breakfast, many items for the breakfast were left out all day very offputting. No tea, very limited choice. Cola cao and no hot milk. The reception staff were neither friendly or helpful. No information about the buses the way to town or anything. This hotel really let itself down,it could have been really good, what a pity. Also 6 steps to the lift not a good situation for anyone with heavy luggage, a buggy or a wheelchair.
staff very friendly, great breakfast, very good comforrt/price/location.
everything was ok I thing that it was very good, there is nothing that I didn´t like
Very nice and clean hotel, excellent view from the room, spacious parking with easy access, nicely served breakfast. Lack of wifi was dissapointing
Evening receptionist was not very friendly or welcoming it seemed quite a bother to check us in - morning one was quite different and helpful.
the air-con worked well no proper bar - no information about the city, coke machine not replenished
Location Car park difficult to get into with a long car,its right on the corner of a very narrow one way road and you have to leave the car to open gates which blocks the road and prevents other vehicles entering the road.
Hotel 15-20 minute walk from town center. Manageable, but would have been nicer had it been closer to sites. Hotel had telephone number of 2 cabs, both unavailable on the day we wanted to go to the train station. Not their fault, but should have some backup numbers.
Hotel Civera is located some distance from the old town, the room is clean.
The hotel has a good location and has good value for money We booked a non-smoking room, but got a room wihich had been smoked in.The staff was nice, but could not speek english very good.
It is easy to find and has parking available which is difficult in Teruel. The breakfast was good value.
Nothing No food or bar facilities. Very noisy road. Aie conditioning did not work
Its location in Teruel city center.
Freedom to move about the hotel at anytime. Noise from the nearby Plaza was excessive due to the funnelling of sound This was not the fault of the hotel only the high buildings that ajoined it.
nothing stands out, it was just a room the room smelt slightly damp and musty when we arrived, this did improve after opening the window and allowing it to air
The location is right near Atocha train and metro station. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are tiny. A wireless internet connection costs a huge 17 Euros extra for 24 hours.
Our stay in the Hotel was very good, and the staff were very helpful. No there was nothing to dislike.
Perfect location for visiting the beautiful old town of Albarracin and Teruel. Two mins away from the lovely Pine Forest. Excellent food in the restaurant, Breakfast is freshly served with delicious hams, breads and cakes. The hotel is family run and they make you feel very welcomed and offer local info etc.I would love to return to this hotel and explore this idyllic area some more. The bedrooms would benefit from insect nets.
Friendliness of the staff
It was a very informal hotel, one of the friendliest that we have stayed in. Everybody there was helpful and courteous. It is in a very quiet location with lots of interesting places to visit nearby. We would most definitely stay there again. There wasn't a fan in the room nor were there any fly screens fitted to the windows and as it was hot when we stayed it was a little uncomfortable. There are no brochures on display informing you of the numerous places to visit in the area although we were immediately given them when we asked.
Very pleasant stay in beautiful surrounding countryside. The staff were very helpful and the food excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to my friends. We could find no fault with the hotel.
Staff were friendly but rooms that we booked were unavailable and a poor explanation of why they were not.Nice sized drinks ! Meals were expensive and small portions - steer clear of the rabbit (pile of bones) 2kg Steak for two (80% fat and inedible)
Very friendly staff - the owners wife spoke excellent english and the meal she prepared was fantastic!
Friendly. Very good tapas. Good range of single malt whiskies which I did not expect from an out-of-the-way, small hotel. The 2 tapas I had were expensive (4 and 6 euros respectively) No price list was proffered. The bedroom smelled too strongly of antiseptic - I think from the floor being mopped with it.
Beautiful location. Tranquil and restful after long journey. Owners very friendly and helpful. Room and ensuite very clean --could just have done with a fan as hot at night (July) Good food at dinner but more expensive than anticipated. Some people may find location a bit too isolated but it was ideal for us.
Staff helpful Road repairs outside created much dust. Food was overpriced and of poor quality. Rooms not available as booked
