Pros: Great location, secluded but not remote. Staff were great and couldn't have been more helpful. It's a rural, country hotel so don't expect all mod cons, but internet worked fine. Very relaxing place.
Cons: A couple of bits in the room were in need of replacement/maintenance but nothing serious.
Pros: Close to Biar, Nice coffee breakfast OK. Our room had lovely sun terracr
Cons: Poor atmosphere not shown around never did find the garden. Very untidy reception desk gives poor first impression.
Pros: Hospitality and effort to make our stay pleasant. Great host(s). Thanks for everything
Pros: Very quiet. Breakfast was good, but I wished it was served earlier than 0900.
Cons: The wifi was very poor within our room. Needed to go out to the sitting area to maintain a connection.
Pros: A beautiful country house in a lovely location. Comfort, good views and good food. We will return.
Pros: We loved the rural charm and tranquility of this beautifully restored old building and its well kept grounds. Very comfortable bed and lovely home cooking. We were made so welcome by our hosts who take a wonderful pride in their home. We enjoyed the family art talent in the interesting watercolours. For us this was an easily found overnight stop on the way from France to Andalucia but we should love to return for longer. Very good parking.
Pros: Great place; great room; nice couple; interested is us; good food; quiet and relaxing
Cons: Wooden floor in the room was cracking a lot
Pros: Big bedroom with a small terrace which was a bonus, food was excellent, loads of lounge areas, you could swim, play on the trampoline, play table tennis and a large library with lots of games, the outside space was huge.
Cons: Theres nothing i can think of.
Pros: The hotel was like an antique house, with lots of beautiful paintings and furniture. Nice swimming pool and area for kids. Very close to the town. Quite place, where you can enjoy silence in the evening and olive plants. Very polite and helpful staff. We have to little infants of 1.7 years and 6 month. Maybe not the real place with such small infants. There is no fridge in the room, but the owner let us use the fridge in the kitchen and to cook what is necessary. Thank you for everything!

Pros: Beautiful room lovely helpful host
Pros: Lovely old house close to centre of town , owner is very nice and attentive, bed was amazingly comfortable, well worth a visit
Pros: The personally equipped and beautiful room, good heating on a cold winter day
Pros: Excellent location, friendly proprietor.
Cons: Rather complicated parking arrangements, lots of communication by WhatsApp as proprietor not on site all the time.
Pros: Owner was lovely and very very helpfull
Cons: All was fine
Pros: Very cute bed & breakfast style guesthouse . Pilar and Elliette were so helpful and kind . I came with a lot of luggage while I look for a place to live in the area and they tried to help with my search as well . I felt very warm and comfortable as it was also the first weekend of the cold . The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was very modern.
Pros: Loved it. Location was perfect, clean and comfortable. Quaint. Definitely recommend.
Pros: Fabulous welcome, great size room better described as a small suite! Plenty of ammeneties from a traditional hotel in the heart of the old town. Everything within walking distance, convenient parking (paid) and a hostess that couldn't be more helpful :)
Pros: Friendly helpful host, spotlessly clean room, and hot showers
Pros: Comfortable quiet room.
Cons: Accces to breakfast was difficult. Too late for me. Very nice coffe shop nearby
Pros: - The host was very helpful, even though her English was limited. - Beautiful views of Villena - wonderful layout - near the Tourist Centre and castle, even though they weren't very helpful - can stock the fridge if needed
Cons: - no wifi - up hill walk to get to if it's siesta time. No taxi's - being so open and with no staff around, there is a possibility of it being loud.
Pros: It was very rustic right next to the castle, with kitchen, lounge and dining room. Rooms were clean and tidy; the owners could not do enough for us, most enjoyable stay
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like
Pros: Lovely house to stay in if you are in Villena and nice host greeted us
A stay at Villa de Biar places you in the heart of Biar, steps from Church of Biar and 4 minutes by foot from Biar Castle. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Biar is an old Spanish town High in the mountains scenery green Spanish is the main thing Fabulous walks bike riding be fit
Cons: No I could not
Pros: The location is beautiful it’s old Spain and set on the mountain side the staff were very friendly and helpful the area is fantastic food was great would stay again
Cons: There was rubbish in the bins of the room when we arrived and the room had 4 beds in it which took up most of the space. The swimming pool was full of leaves which we had to try and clear out by hand every day because no-one was cleaning it. Our main reason for choosing this hotel rather than others in the region was that it had a running machine which was out of order the whole time. Not only could you hear the person in the room next door talk on the phone you could also hear the person on the other end. The hotel is used by a group for language/cultural exchange who used up all available free space around the hotel all day every day. The drinks menu has a wide range of cocktails none of which were available because they didn't have the ingredients.
Pros: We enjoyed the old town . The hotel was great and we are expecting to return with our relations later in the year
Cons: The bed made crackling noises and was very uncomfortable. This hotel isn't worth its four stars! There is an uninviting atmosphere and the bed didn't meet the standards.
Pros: Great location and nice modern room, friendly and helpful staff too. Lovely outdoor setting and great size pool.
Cons: When I arrived I went for a swim and spent 15 minutes clearing the pool out with the net before it was ready. I'm sure they clean it at intervals so maybe it was poor timing.
Pros: Food was excellent with quick delivery.
Pros: The staff were very helpful, smiling and happy in their work. The food was excellent value and highly recommended. The hotel is in a quiet location although the local church bells are lively come 8am!!! Take sturdy footwear for the walk to the castle as the ground is quite uneven and steep steps in places. Worth the climb though
Pros: The ambiance, attention to detail, extremely helpful and knowledgeable proprietor who went out of his way to make our stay highly enjoyable.
Cons: Everything was so good about the hotel, so nothing to dislike
Pros: Historical location, nice staff
Cons: Two single beds

Pros: The location was excellent, the beds are adequate.

Pros: Good rooms, location good, and the restaurant best in town.
Pros: Hotel was perfectly positioned in the centre of town.
Cons: Only problem is with parking! We had to search the little streets for some time before finding a parking spot.
Pros: Was close to train station.
Cons: Hôtel is a little rundown.
