Location , hairdryer not working ,bulbs not working
Helpful staff and outstanding quality of food
The staff is nice and polite. Noisy until late at night, with people going to and fro at any time.Walls are as thin as cardboard: you can hear your room neighbours speak and watch TV. Indeed, not a hotel for businessmen who need to sleep and wake up early.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Further out from the centre than expected so a car was essential
It was conveniently close to the autoroute for breaking a long journey. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn't open.
arrived at 11.30pm and left by 8.45am so not actually there that long! Beds comfy, showers good. inadequate tea/coffee facilities in each room i.e. only one tea bag in each room (which was for 2 people!)
It was convenient for the Autoroute, and the WiFi was useful. The hotel was secluded from traffic noise. The room was booked for three people, but I had to retrieve a poor campbed from under the double for my son who is 1.97m tall and ask at reception for a pillow, a cup and supplies for the tea making facility, towels etc. The hairdryer didn't work and there was an enormous party of rowdy children....I'm not given to complaining, but you did ask!
Cheap and Cheerful. Good Restaurant at hotel. Hotel staff ordered morning taxi for return trip to the airport - taxi arrived exactly on time. In the middle of nowhere. Nothing around, if you arrive via taxi you are stuck at the hotel unless you order another taxi.
Nothing They close at 11:00 PM. If you have a late flight (beyongd your control) you are done. Happened to me.
Handy to the airport Felt the rooms were small - basically utilitarian but no complaints for one night
The location in proximity to the airport was its main feature. Breakfast was excellent but not inexpensive. One of the rooms labeled "non-smoking" had a very strong and unpleasant tobacco odor.
The food in the restaurant was very good. Sterile environment. Lifeless. Expensive and without any charm whatsoever.
Acceptable quality /price ratio. Hotel is situated among big warehouses. Sad environment. Broken door lock (someone has opened it by kicking in the past).
Business trip. There as not enough explanation on how to enter and leave the security in the parking lot.
Close proximity to the airport. Friendly front desk. Clean. It was very difficult to find - I was lost for an hour and the front desk did not speak English well enough to direct me.
Warning - Ordered a taxi for the nearby airport at the reception. It showed out to be a no-meter taxi driven by a lady working for the hotel charging me outrageous euro 26 for a 3 minute ride from the hotel. Pushy servants in the restaurant eager to sell. Breakfast selection and quality is great but dinner is not impressive. The wine selction is terrible even if you go for the highest priced. I am disappointed when hotels like this try to use you as they know you are a first and maybe returning client. However I work in Lyon and this treat was not satisfactory. The hotel is your "local host" and their recommendation should be trust worthy inclusive the taxi. I expect to be able to trust the hotel and their recommendations.
Convenience Very poor bed quality. Visually a very uninteresting location, in fact probably the most uninteresting location imaginable. Phone difficult to program for a wake-up call in English. Resorted to asking staff for a wake-up call plus programming the TV/Radio alarm.
Only hotel available at Pollutec Exhibition Far from Lyon Centre. Taxis around 50-60 €
It's guaranteed value as it's a chain - it was clean and the food was good. All in all very good value for money as it's not very expensive
Outstanding food and excellent service.
Did not visit for the star restaurant, but was very happy with the bistro. Nice large room, good food, nice garden, friendly staff.
The elaborate meal and incredible service were the best we have ever had! The hotel room was top quality and our stay in Vienne was brilliant!
The sheer professionalism of the staff, and their very good insight into the sort of guests they had - at least in our case. They were engaging, funny and very good at their jobs. No
Rooms very french. Restaurant gourmet excellence, but expensive! If you want to walk back to your room, don't go for the discovery menu! Could not eat like that for a second night!
Ihave stayed there before and I enjoy it very much
Very spacious rooms with good beds. Availability of a good quality, very reasonably priced "second" restaurant on site to complement the two Michelin-starred main gourmet restaurant. Cheerful helpful staff. On-site free parking. Excellent free in-room WiFi service. Unexpected delay in their Laundry Service 2days instead of same day service as promised. No explanation or apology.
The food was excellent and the staff were charming. The modern design of the bedroom was also attractive. It was not possible to get fresh air in the bedroom except by opening a french door. Perhaps because there was a reunion taking place at the hotel at the time, there was also nowhere to relax except in the room, as the weather was too cool to use the swimming pool area...
The hotel offers free wifi but there is no table in the room. The room was full of ants, ok this can happen, the hotell is in an immense park but i have said it to the receptionist but nobody took action to clean the room.
The owner and his wife were absolutely lovely and I wish them very well. Their chateau is lovely and the swimming pool beautiful. The rooms are far too tiny, there is no ventilation and no air conditioning. I was bitten by mosquitoes because I was forcred to leave the door open to get ventelation.
Nice hotel with large rooms. Good breakfast. The park was lovely to walk in. The restaurant was exclusive but very good maybe a little expensive , specially the wine-selection. (most expensive bottle 2500 €). Friendly peoples and good service.
Unbelievable atmosphere and appearance. Very expensive but probably worth it.
I was totaly surprised coming down the dirt road and then the beautiful estate opened up.
There really wasn't anything to dislike about this hotel - good location, helpful and pleasant staff, the rooms were clean, tidy and well equipped and a choice of restaurants. I'd certainly recommend the hotel.
Size of the appartments and the bed Slightly shabby decoration in the appartment. Unfriendly staff in the brasserie.
I stayed in a studio of the hotel - and enjoyed to have my own little kitchenette - that was very handy as I stayed for more than 2 weeks - the service in the studio is the same as in the rooms - cleaning every day. The choice in the restaurant and in the brasserie was limited - it is probably ok for someone just staying 1 or 2 nights - but not for longer period. Also the quality of the cuisine was not always good - same dish on different days = different quality
staff very freindly. Food excellent and great value for money
freindly staff rooms smelt of smoke - Expensive for type of hotel - expected more from the hotel from expanation on web site at booking
reasonable price, big parking space, acceptable restaurant, clean room WiFi connection requires special registration and nearly no signal of mobile network connection. Breakfast is as poor as most of French hotels.
Friendly Staff, Good for late arrivals, Close to main route to alps
Close proximity to airport. The fact it is used by passengers of the airport means there are people coming and going throughout most of the night . Also the rooms are very dark with a dangerous luggage storage rack above the bed, which one is warned about, but still it is stupid !
The room was clean. Next door Canpanille restaurant was nice but had no option after 23h00 to get a meal Bad Bathroom, small and very hard to get a shower. Bad maintenance. The windows was broken and was the only way to get clean air. The soap dispenser was broken. No place to store clothes. No transportation. If you do not have a car, there is no way to get out of the hotel. Very noisy between rooms
The only good point worth mentioning was the meal at the hotel next door. Room was very basic, old and run-down, and it smelled stale.
Good food First room smelled of cigarette smoke. There was a flood in the second bedroom during the night.
Close to airport, good directions on internet, fast check-in Cigarette burns in the bathroom
Near motorway, easy to find
The breakfast was the only positive thing during my stay. First, mind that if you book a room at this hotel through booking.com, you don't get the code you will need for the machine which releases the key of your room, in the case of a late arrival. Past 9pm there's nobody at the hotel to open your door. You will need your reservation code and the credit card to get the key from the machine. Without the code, you need to call an emergency number. second, the hotel is poorly maintained. One cannot expect too much at this price, but there are unacceptable issues, such as the main door having a 5+mm gap when closed, allowing cold air and causing draft indoor. third, the location is quite in the middle of nowhere, and getting to and from there costs you eur 12+ each way.
Price, cleanliness Electricity went out in the early am, desk clerk spoke no English.
Great position, very nice ambience, lovely breakfast room with pleasant outlook, perfect position
Very good staff, very helpful. The walls are very thin!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to the hotel until about 11:00 PM, but there was no problem. Breakfast was marvelous!
Staff werer helpful - \good breakfast. Building old and rooms very small cramped reception area. . Difficult to find/ difficult to leave on Market day outside..
Position Size of room
helpfulness of staff. Breakfast good.Location excellent.Room good value for money no
Hotel is in a good location. Nice decor in the hall and rooms are okay. Shower gets flooded as curtain is too short.
Easy for car parking . Position related to Vienne itself an alternative to Lyon then Lyon Hotels are busy. The smell of wc in the bed room ( room n°18)
Grafitti on the walls upon entry. Walls very very thin and no sound proofing/privacy. Hair dryer dysfunctional. Rules and regulation do not permit the use of electrical appliances hence no razor or hair dryer.Check time 11:00 am. Rooms not ready for check in until after 2:30 pm. Overall a negative experience.
